TFTC Found with andyfreya. What a great little hidden away place. Great hiding spot out of weather. Out caching and collecting Bald Eds 172 degrees
Really cool spot and a good climb to reach. Found after a smashing victory vs scagill at these grounds. #83
Found on our trip south, enjoying the trip but have passed through a lot of dry countryside. Didn't take long to find.
Came up for a drive. Hmm, not too many places where this could be, and I spotted a telltale sign of where a cache could be.. .and soon it had my name it. Thanks for the placement, had the area all to myself, one car showed up as I was leaving.TFTC TheWanglers, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 2 find(s) of 3 today, making this find #4631
Cunning hide. Sadly caught my jacket on a bit of wire so paid the price for finding. Thanks for the hide, Hello Mrs. Good to see a community looking after their tennis courts.#9969
Last cache for the day. My plan had been to camp at Greta Valley tonight and cache my way back to Kaikoura tomorrow however my GPS is telling me I'm one hour from my sisters place in Christchurch. With what I've got today I should have enough to complete the wheel of challenges for this month so why not go and hang out with the family for the rest of the long weekend

Out, most certainly out. Well the little piece of cache that was poking out was all I needed.
Driving Apple tree alley between Waikari and Greta Valley. Mostly park and grab caches. The fifteen stop of the day on the way back to Christchurch after visiting friends near Waikari. Very tidy domain, sneaky hide quickly spotted; TFTC
Nice little walk on a beautiful track. Was initially puzzled when I was navigated towards the tennis courts but thinking outside the box was what found us this cache - Angie spotting something odd. Defo a fav point. Had to be careful when retrieving the cache as muggles in the area. Did put our own piece of paper in the cache as no room on the log.
Nice little walk, then I spotted something a little out of place that's 2 finds for me.

Nice easy find. Couldn’t find a spot on the paper for my name - it is very full. Lovely quiet spot. Tftc
Quick find thanks. Log book is full but we didn't have paper on us. Found a space on the geocaching info sheet to log as others have done.
Like these hides, took a while to spot tftc
Planned West Coast trip put on hold due to atrocious weather. So an alternative route was needed to avoid the rain. Not so! The rest of the south island copped it too..though on a lesser degree. So mainly driving north with the odd random cache finds. Seeing plenty of country less travelled a bonus.

We went for a day trip to Lake Taylor and picking up as many caches as possible on the way back too. We wonder if there is a function or party going on with many muggles around. Luckily the cache was far away from the muggles. In no time the cache was in hand once we reached GZ. TFTC

Nice little hide here! What a great domain! Very impressed with the facilities. TFTC
We packed a picnic and decided on doing the apple series plus others. Then meeting other cachers at Motunau for the Earth Cache in late afternoon for low tide. This was such a clever hide and gets a fav from us. Thanks for this cache Hello Mrs.
Quick find on our way to Motanau for the Earthcache, was very glad to the SWAT team with me as I'm a little vertically challenged. Tftc.
New Zealand we are back again.
Today is our first day with our campervan in the south island. Here at the first station we did not supposed to find some caches. But so we could move the legs.
Thanks to Hello Mrs for hiding and maintaining.
Best regards

Stayed here the night! Nice quiet places was happy when I opened the app to find a cache within walking distance! TFTC!!
Find 403
Find 403
A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 3 Picton to Waikari 36 caches found including 1 of the targets. These courts came out of the blue. What a complex for the community. I had to be careful of the caretaker working on the greens next door. Thank you for the placement.

Great placement as long as you are short in stature lol...soon found thanks Hello Mrs for the well placed cache
Caretaker was mowing lawnsbut he was busy. Seemingly hot today so I was glad to get back in the shade. Thanks for bringing us here Hello Mrs
A couple of vans in here, looked like campers but did not take any notice of myself and Demainiac as we searched and found the geo.T.F.T.C.
Not a lot of places to hide a cache here and we were straight on to this one.....thanks again, (from the wounded one!)
Happily been around caches long enough to recognise the hidey place. Great hide and not a muggle in sight! Found with LW on a great day out. TFTH
Day 2 of my Canterbury Weekend. Nice weather, quiet roads and lots of caches to find. What more could you want. TFTC
Junior went the wrong way & couldn't open the gate. We were smarter & nabbed it first. Tftc
W checked out both options before deciding that in was in, and therefore out must be out. All good and replaced as found. I was singing it must be love in tennis themed joke mode.
Onto the main side trail and a chance for daughter to get some driving practice iunder my watchful eye and hopeful that this road is (mostly) sealed all the way around - it was, mostly. We managed to collect a fair haul of apples and the G P S steadily got worse in accuracy, reading up to 80 metres before I turned it off for a reset\, not sure what happened there but for the most part the caches were hidden in a similar and logical place.
Apologies in advance for the generic logs, note-keeping wasn't too flash for most of these finds as we cleared out the route.
A real quick roadtrip weekend 'down the line' to Chch and surrounds for us this weekend. mrs capperz is on her own 2 week roadie, so it's just nightowl19 and I for the long haul, 800kms, puzzles and trads, a couple of badge upgrades on Statto project-gc, and a few take-away establishments visited to maintain the caching machine. A good weekend which as usual is over too soon, but still a good couple of days away. I had a meal to go to on Friday night so was not on the road until the relatively late time of 0800 on Saturday morning, and back home again just 36 short hours later on Sunday evening. Treble figure haul over those 2 days and plenty of back road sights and experiences of parts of Canterbury not travelled before. Managed a couple of earth caches, a load of apples (enough for cider!), some childrens names and even mustered some errant horses (on the loose from Kaimanawa?}

What a fantastic reserve. A great community asset. And a clever hide. Thanks for bringing me in here
Christchurch - Kaikoura
We had a day on the road, tracelling many country roads. The scenery was rural with many sheep & cows . The road sides looked great with all the blossoms.
We found a variety of caches today, even meeting 1 local cacher

What a great opportunity while working in the area to stop by the Domain and play with my grandson at the local play group AND find a cache. Might ave a couple of new catchers as there were a couple of interested mums there keen to learn about caching. Tftc
During our Sabbatical trip we made our way to Scargill as well. I found this one beside a short walk around the area today the 03.02.2017 and achieved one more nice experience...
Many thanks Hello Mrs, moin moin, and best regards sends Dr. Dose...

Dans le camper site. Vers l aire de jeux enfant. Il neige pas mais il faut des raquettes.
At the moment Pfote and me are on a work and travel backpacking trip through the world. After more than two years in Australia we took the chance to be so close to New Zealand, which is the farthest place on earth from our home. So we hopped over and will travel at least most of the south island in the upcoming months.
We arrived here and made our way to the final of the nearby multi right away.
But, for whatever reason, we have no GPS signal at all in the whole area. Thanks to the satellite map we were able to find the box anyways.
TFTC and greetings from Germany.

Had a quick look but got muggled big time by local constable. Haha. See photo. Will have to visit again.
Grabbing some caches on my way from Christchurch to Kaikoura. Signed log and returned as found. Thanks for the cache.
I wonder how often this place is used? A couple of other visitors whilst we were there, but they were well away from where we needed to be. Fairly quick find once we thought about it. Log is almost fill. Nice spot for lunch before we carried on our journey north. tftc
After several days in Chch and surrounds we headed home today but of course made time to find some caches on the way. As well as caching around Ashley and Loburn we returned to the Greta Valley to finish what we didn't have time for on our way south.By the time we reached home last night our count for the day was 53, tired but satisfied with our efforts for the week. The logs were signed HZ+HM, H+H, or on some case with our full names.
Thank you to all CO's whose caches we found this week.

After caching managed to hold us up for two days we're heading for home. Not without picking up caches on the way and not so on the way though. And a detour via Greta Valley to take care of some unfinished business from a few days ago on the way down. The landscape is a lot more pleasant here than both the dry and irrigated land further South. A good variety of caches were found. Nice after doing some series on days previous. Our final tally for this multi day raid was 380+. Enough time left today to take the long way around. Nice to stretch the legs too. We were "In". Thank you TheWanglers
Mrs Biggles and I are on a road trip to Christchurch today. Stopping to find a few caches along the way. We took a 'slight' detour off the main roads to go apple picking - I mean cache finding. It was a really neat way to explore some of these back roads. Last cache for us today. Interesting to see so many campervans in the domain. A nice hide here. Time to head back to the highway and straight to CHC. TFTC, Biggles.
Scargill In or Out (North Canterbury) was transferred from Hello Mrs to user TheWanglers
North Canterbury road trip. lots of apples but also some other caches.
thanks to the owners!

Out and about with some of the whanau for a days caching. Great fun all around. The weather was all over the show, mostly warm and wet. Signed log books as Team Polak, consisting of tunfisk, sonia26642, and Hinemoana today. Nice quick find here, on our way out and back home. TFTC!!
Good one. There were people in the building next to the courts, but I walzed in like I owned the place and made the find (.. after a bit of head-scratching ).

[green] On my way back to Blenheim from a long, tiring two weeks at Christchurch, centred on the Mega event there. A wonderful day, beautiful blue ocean and many thanks to all the cache owners from today and the last two weeks. I went up two belt grades, found over 750 caches this month, all except 20 of which were in the last two weeks! So many thanks to all the cache owners that have made this such an awesome trip.
Last time I was here, two weeks ago, there was a tennis match in progress. Loads of people. I abandoned the search. Today the place is empty, and the cache was quickly found.

11.45am Found Cache - Well after a full on couple of days at the Mega Event it's time for myself and Squirrel Nutcase to head north to Picton for our sailing tonight. As we have done so many caches today have opted to cut & paste for this stage of our trip so we can get them logged. Great trip but not enough time on our side to do any more. All caches that we found today were in good condition and were able to claim them all fairly quickly. Signed logs for all these wonderful caches we came across down south, will return in the future to claim more.
Many thanks to you all.

Many thanks to you all.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)...
All too soon, the Mega dream came to an abrupt end... We needed to return to Picton to catch the last ferry sailing back to the North Island. If history was anything to go by, there would be many cache related stops. We tried to get away as early as possible...
We are pleased to report that almost all of the caches we stopped for were in place and in good order. Besides a bit of dampness, there was nothing of concern. This is a feat that cache owners in this area of the country can be proud of... We thank you... Thank you for bringing to our attentions areas of significance. We enjoyed discovering scenic areas, historical and social locations, and other personally meaningful spots.
As stated, we found loads of caches... If we were to write an individualised note for each one, we'd never get the logging done. Hence, there will be a lot of cutting and pasting going on... My apologies!!
Canterbury: An interesting little area inside here. Who would know looking from the road? Another quick find... TFTC.

Drove into this well maintained and multi faceted domain, round and out to get the cache at the gate. I remembered finding a cache here previously so didn't check to see if there was one here. Find the one at the gate and laughed at my stupidity and drove back in again. Good hide here. TFTC #7359
Still parked up in Parnassus but today I am venturing a little further south towards Greta Valley.
I remember coming here a couple of years back but I only had time to do the cache at the main gate.
Cheers for the cache.

A little diversion, on our way home to Marlborough from Christchurch today, to ‘deal to’ a number of outstanding caches. We enjoyed our ride, via a ‘different’ way, home. Thanks for placing your cache – it made our trip that much more interesting. We found it 'on our way out'. And a favourite. Ta
On an Easter mission! Plan was to knock out a couple of series we've been eyeing up, hit 200 finds, place a few of our own, and release the kids new TBs! Today was the Apple trail, along with any others along the way. Good day for it, overcast but not too cold. Wouldn't be keen to do it in the heat! And no wasps around the fallen apples, which is a bonus when allergic. Brought home a few nice ones to munch too (apples, not wasps!)
Got here just on dark and needed to break out the torch, lucky we had one, not sure I would have found this otherwise! Great hide and was all mine, mini cacher lacking something in this area

Used this stop to visit the restrooms before we looked for the cache. Quick find, thanks
