Quick easy find - parked up here for the night in our camper - what a magical place - TFTC
Came up for a drive. Quickly spotted where the cache should be, and sure enough there it was. Container despite being rusty, opened easily and the log was good as gold. Thanks!TFTC TheWanglers, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 find(s) of 3 today, making this find #4630
Very rusty. Log dry though. Got this on my way back out as good parking alongside. Thanks, Hello Mrs.#9970

Parked the van, containing the dogs, well back from this one. A nice quick find and it doesn’t look like it will blow away anytime soon. TFTC

Driving Apple tree alley between Waikari and Greta Valley. Mostly park and grab caches. The last stop of the day on the way back to Christchurch after visiting friends near Waikari. ; TFTC
Good hint, quick find tftc
Planned West Coast trip put on hold due to atrocious weather. So an alternative route was needed to avoid the rain. Not so! The rest of the south island copped it too..though on a lesser degree. So mainly driving north with the odd random cache finds. Seeing plenty of country less travelled a bonus.

We went for a day trip to Lake Taylor and picking up as many caches as possible on the way back too. Hint was really helpful and cache was straight away in hand. Cache is all good here. TFTC

Down from Northland for a one week trip to Christchurch to pick up some solved puzzles, challenges, unusual cache types, Jasmer grid fillers, as well as a few others in passing.

We packed a picnic and decided on doing the apple series and others. Then meeting other cachers at Motunau for the Earth Cache in late afternoon for low tide. Thanks for this cache Hello Mrs.
Quick find at the entrance. Drove to the end a lovely domain and the dogs are so dissapointed that they could not come.
I was making my way back home to Christchurch after finishing my work week in Kaikoura and I needed to stop for a cache to fill in one of my days and after following some painfully slow drivers, this seemed like a great little detour. I soon found myself at GZ next to a burned out car. I kept one eye on my vehicle as I got out to retrieve the cache. It was a quick find but a car of people slowed down and watched me for a while. Eventually they moved on and I replaced the cache and went on my merry way.
Just FYI, the log was quite wet but I managed to etch my name in it, hopefully it dries out in summer, otherwise a sealable container might help. Tftc.

Coming back from Motenau after a fishing trip. Last cache for the year TFTC.
Log book to wet to sign. Happy New Year

New Zealand we are back again.
Today is our first day with our campervan in the south island. Here at the first station we did not supposed to find some caches. But so we could move the legs.
Thanks to TheWanglers for hiding and maintaining.
Best regards

Tyfc , my husband family farmed 19,00 on what is now Devaar, we found a book in school library and went driving around , geo caching was a great bonus ,
Found but couldn’t log the cache was soaked full of water so I tipped it all out but the log will need to be replaced! Must be a good hiding spot as a birdy had made a nest quite close by! Find 404
A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 3 Picton to Waikari 36 caches found including 1 of the targets. I didn't realize that this was the park entrance until I started to drive off to the next. Cache all good. Thank you for the placement.

Rattled around in brambles and barbed wire for a bit..eventually found thanks HellowMrs
A sight for sure eyes, me crawling in and under trying to avoid the barbed wire. Thanks for the placement Hello Mrs
Quick find but I was nabbed by a lurking barb wire fence on my return and blood was given, hey, not really caching unless there is blood, great job, tftc
Day 2 of my Canterbury Weekend. Nice weather, quiet roads and lots of caches to find. What more could you want. TFTC
Onto the main side trail and a chance for daughter to get some driving practice iunder my watchful eye and hopeful that this road is (mostly) sealed all the way around - it was, mostly. We managed to collect a fair haul of apples and the G P S steadily got worse in accuracy, reading up to 80 metres before I turned it off for a reset\, not sure what happened there but for the most part the caches were hidden in a similar and logical place.
Apologies in advance for the generic logs, note-keeping wasn't too flash for most of these finds as we cleared out the route.
A real quick roadtrip weekend 'down the line' to Chch and surrounds for us this weekend. mrs capperz is on her own 2 week roadie, so it's just nightowl19 and I for the long haul, 800kms, puzzles and trads, a couple of badge upgrades on Statto project-gc, and a few take-away establishments visited to maintain the caching machine. A good weekend which as usual is over too soon, but still a good couple of days away. I had a meal to go to on Friday night so was not on the road until the relatively late time of 0800 on Saturday morning, and back home again just 36 short hours later on Sunday evening. Treble figure haul over those 2 days and plenty of back road sights and experiences of parts of Canterbury not travelled before. Managed a couple of earth caches, a load of apples (enough for cider!), some childrens names and even mustered some errant horses (on the loose from Kaimanawa?}

Quick find here. There was a gathering at the domain (freewheelers?) which meant we did not attempt the two caches in there, but continued on down this road. Thanks Hello Mrs.
A quick detour on the trip south from Blenheim to Christchurch. We decided on this road to complete (or close to) the apple series. Just over 20 caches for the afternoon and no real issues. TFTC to all COs.

Thanks very much!
After we stayed at the domain last night we quickly grabbed and signed this one in the morning. TFTC
Christchurch - Kaikoura
We had a day on the road, tracelling many country roads. The scenery was rural with many sheep & cows . The road sides looked great with all the blossoms.
We found a variety of caches today, even meeting 1 local cacher
We had an overnight camp here. $5 pp, hot shower available.
Thanks for placing this cache TheWanglers

At the moment Pfote and me are on a work and travel backpacking trip through the world. After more than two years in Australia we took the chance to be so close to New Zealand, which is the farthest place on earth from our home. So we hopped over and will travel at least most of the south island in the upcoming months.
Having no GPS signal at all we did this one very old school. A view on the map and off we went without technology and found the box anyways.
TFTC and greetings from Germany.

A short detour off the main road. We deliberately left the two caches nearby as we are trying to get the numbers right for Nanzie to get her 1000th find at the Cathedral Gully Earthcache. TFTC

Paddle chick and I did a quick detour on our way back to Nelson as I needed 33 more caches so I could get my 1000 cache .Thanks for the cache The Wangler's.
Off to Chch for a few days, and of course grabbing a few caches on the way. This was one of 21 we found on the trip south. The logs were signed HZ+HM, H+H, or on some case with our full names.
This was our last find of the day before heading straight through to Chch.
Thank you TheWanglers.

Thank you TheWanglers.
It was a combination of holidays, family visit and caching. Since our last visit to Canterbury lots of trails have appeared and there were many puzzles to be solved. Our last find for the day here. Not for lack of caches but we had an ETA to meet in Christchurch. Back in a few days to round up the stragglers. Thank you TheWanglers
Mrs Biggles and I are on a road trip to Christchurch today. Stopping to find a few caches along the way. We took a 'slight' detour off the main roads to go apple picking - I mean cache finding. It was a really neat way to explore some of these back roads. A quick find here in the first place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
No Dogs Allowed (North Canterbury) was transferred from Hello Mrs to user TheWanglers

A nice quick find on this lovely walk. The sign is now portable!! Dropped a Geocoin off. TFTC
Out and about with some of the whanau for a days caching. Great fun all around. The weather was all over the show, mostly warm and wet. Signed log books as Team Polak, consisting of tunfisk, sonia26642, and Hinemoana today. Nice quick find here, TFTC!!
