Needed a simple find after work. To keep my streak unbroken now that daylight saving time has ended last weekend. Couldnt find the first one nearby, however this is a good CIH, TFTC
A day off from work, no football matches today, so doing some geocaching while exploring the city. Yes found this one.
And so I also found Two Little Ducks and converted into a smiley.
tronador thanks for the cache. Greetings from the Netherlands

Probably took longer than it should have but a photo narrowed down some of the options. TFTC!
Can’t believe how many people walk this path on a Tuesday 1130am! When you are on your own you get paranoid that people can see you when you haven’t got a second person to distract them! Found cache in between walkers. Replaced as found. I even saw a duck on the river.
A pleasant walk alternating between caches and the AL. Nicely placed out of sight of muggles. TFTC tronador
Off to the footy at Olympic Park today and came a little earlier to jog the Duck River AL and pick up a few physicals. This my second physical took a few extra minutes but still reasonably quick to spot, no camo like the prior find. All in good condition here. A few people doing horticultural activities on the opposite site of the path but no issues. Thanks for placing this cache tronador #1486
11054 Located by baby&Mrs gopher in company with Nana Nell and Wazza9 at 1430. on our urban caching drive to pick up some of the GC caches and some LGA's The hide blends in well with the surroundings. SL Tnx tronador
These fields hold a lot of memories for me. I used to play soccer here before any of these fences were here. I walked around the cache without realising it until I spotted it
On my way to SOO I decided to make a day of it and do some caching along the way.
This was part of a nice walk along Duck creek.

Sydney Road Trip
I am taking a drive to Sydney for a couple of days to visit my daughter. We took the doggos for a walk and found a other Duck River cache. Then walked up past the Botanic Gardens - lovely spot so will have to come back.
Thanks for putting out this cache tronador

This was not what I expected... Pretty hard not to put back where found since it's pretty secured there... Nice and dry!
Thank you tronador!

Well, since he end of the moth is near ans my pre-pay SIM is about to expire, I decided it's now time to get the AL in Auburn, while I still have mobile data. For regular geocaches you can always play offline, but these AL ones do not work without internet. So, so annoying!

Back in Sydney this year for work. Not many days off, not much time for geocaching, but since some days are rainy and we are not at work, I can still go around and get some finds. Luckily this year o also have my bike with me, so that makes it easier to get around.

Cache was missing after the area was tidied up. I've place a cache not far away, while I work out a better placement. Good to go.
On the way to this one I encountered dozens of ducks sunning themselves on the grass and saw lots of ibis kicking up a storm in the adjacent creek. A quick find was had at gz and I loved the bold hide. Cheers tronador. FP awarded.
tronador I found your cache Two Little Ducks on 3/4/21, 4:30 pm. This is my find 3064 and find # 6 today. After a brief search soon had CIH. I’ve put it back off the ground. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Very cute hide. The toddler loves playing with those, but it definitely looked out of place. tftc
Came here for a BBQ and noticed this cache is just nearby. Went for a walk and quick found the cache. But forgot to bring the most important tool in geocaching, the pen. So sending pix to CO as POF. TFTC.
We returned today after work to sort out a DNF in February 2020 when the container had gone missing. We almost didn’t recognise GZ as so much weed had grown up. Last time the gas’s was born and dry. How things change! SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
found while out & about today between rain showers cache is in good condition & dry thanks tronador for placing & maintaining this cache

Thought I'd better get out and go somewhere before I forget how to drive like you forget what day of the week it is these days.
So I ended up in Mona Street and geodog and I walked over 4km along the Duck River walk. I've been here twice before searching for this cache, but I've walked along here dozens of times with the previous geodog model and the pre-geodog dog. This used to be a lovely area with great views of the river which supported a wide range of waterbird species. Now the river is full of rubbish and the banks are overrun with weed species. I could only see 2 species of bird, Australian White Ibis which was not found in this area at the time of its exploration by Captain Phillip's crew, and Purple Swamphen after which the river was named as they mistakenly thought they were a species of duck unknown to the new settlers.
Anyway Geodog enjoyed his walk and is now suitably tired out and I found the cache, easy this time.

I bought some musical equipment for school just up the road in Gibbs and thought I might as well give this another go. Been here twice in the last 5 years and was determined to find it. An easy find this time. TFTC

TFTC,
After finishing our selected cache today, we continued to get some exercise in and locate a few caches before hearing to a friends place for a social visit, lunch and a chat. Great to be out.
Waited for tronador to replace this on. Then Nana nel went in to find it and I just took it easy.

Out for a walk with Wazza9 and the CO, who happened to do some maintenance as we walked, stamped the new log and replaced. Thanks to Tronador.
Maytenance month. Cache has been replaced, slightly different location, and hide. Good to go.
Stopped by for a maintenance visit and can confirm this cache was sadly missing. GZ has certainly changed again.
Hopefully be back again soon.
Hopefully be back again soon.
Mrs Gaztek had to work on this Saturday so we needed to even that out with post-work caching! No luck for us here today and we gave it a red hot go. We did see quite a few dicks though. Nice bike track. Cheers... Gaztek
Wandered up after checking out the cherry blossoms in the gardens ...quickly spotted what was out of place, and a bit old-skool.Thanks for placing and maintaining this one Tronador. #streakweek lives on.
Quick find for us this morning! Thought we would get a few caches in before heading to the cherry blossom festival! Thanks
No luck for me today. Pictures didn't help me, and i must have overlooked it.
Thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway.
May-tenance month. Still there, it is a tricky hide and easy to overlook. All good here.
tronador I didn’t find your cache Two Little Ducks on 4/5/19, 2:52 pm. Searched all around GZ, it’s overgrown now, even with reference in the photo still couldn’t find it.
TFTC! I had a couple of work days out here in Auburn so I decided to go get a few geocaches around the area in my lunch break. Unfortunately for me, it took me way longer than I expected, again, so I could only find another one today. Next time I am in the area I will make sure I have plenty of time! Tricky little caches! I found part of a disintrgrated log but this time I had brought some to spare, so hopefully that will help.
Thanks for hiding and showing us the place! Really lovely walk by the river.

I parked on Webbs Ave and walked over. Unfortunately there were 4 busloads of high school girls using the fields and kicking a ball around within about 25m of the GZ so i wasnt able to spend much time looking for it.
Ill come back another day.
Ill come back another day.
Went straight for it but then second guess myself. Took longer than it should have but so glad I found it in the end! Cheers!
I made a fairly quick find here after waiting for some walking muggles to pass me by. I love containers that look like they’re real, like they belong. TFTC!
Find #: 1,746
Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Pleasant autumn afternoon
Cache condition: Good
I needed a calendar find, so when we decided to find a family activity for the day I made sure that there was an unfound cache nearby - yes, sad, but necessary! We chose Auburn's Botanical Gardens, which we really enjoyed, with its size, variety and beauty. My son was recently given a good camera, so my wife was able to spend some time teaching him how to take good photos.
After a while the 7 year old got bored and wanted to spend some time at the playground, so while he was there I took the opportunity to find this cache. I had to go the long way round given there was a fence between me and the cache, but it was a pleasant walk along the creek.
Once at GZ I spotted the container on approach just lying on the ground, so after signing the log (TNLN) I replaced it in a logical spot. I then walked back to the family.

Located at 10:12am. Excellent camouflage. I went straight for it. So deftly placed. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
Parked in the side street and then walked along the path to GZ. With no muggles on the playing fields it was a quick and easy search. The cache was found and then the log was signed and then the cache was replaced as found. Thank you tronador for placing this cache.
Second of my ducks, read some logs and then had CIH. Surprisingly there was a fisherman just below GZ?????

A drive to Auburn to grab a few caches in this parkland. With Zelda the geodog along for the ride, she sniffed out the location straight away once at GZ.
This was the most difficult one today. While Zelda had a rest I looked everywhere (well, almost everywhere), until I resorted to a PAF. Of course, it jumped up at me in a place I had looked but not quite closely enough. Cache blindness at it's best! I should know better by now. TFTC

Thought we would be looking for ages but had 7 kids with us and they sniffed it out quick smart! Great container. TFTC
Quick find today while walking/scootering along the duck creek path with the geokiddies. Approaching GZ the phone was pointing at something suspicious and while the cache was not there it was spotted very close by. Cache is in perfect condition, plenty of room on the log.
Thanks for the cache tronador and for bringing us here for a nice morning out.

The time I had today I managed to grab 3 ducks and lost my pen to this one so I took a picture. No muggles here currently. Did see some water birds and the fields were full of them. TFTC
After completeing a course locally thought I’d sneek in a quiet cache, as this is not my local area therefore the caches should be skattered everywhere.
Found GZ was abit puzzled at first soon worked it out .

After spending a chunk of time at the third duck, I decided to continue on to the second duck and hope that I'd have more luck in my return journey. The geodog and I had a lovely walk and marvelled at how many people were still out playing soccer, one set of grounds had the music pumping and a real party atmosphere surrounding the game.
Arrived at GZ and had to avoid the gaze of walkers and talkers. I thought I may be thwarted again, but I revisited the first place I looked and had a better look and finally I had the CIH. Phew, not so blind after all. Happily signed, geodog sniffed, and we were on our way to the first duck. Thanks tronador.

My first cache after having Fathers Day lunch in Auburn and walking in the Botanic Gardens and Japanese Garden amongst the falling blossoms after lunch. Now to find the other ducks, so I can get all my ducks lined up. TFTC tronador
