Needs Maintenance. This geocache is gone. I've found it before. It was easy to find. There have been council works done near GZ as seen in the gallery. It needs replacing or archiving.
Did not find.
Have searched for ages
Recent council work has been there too.

Whilst doing a bush bash with the Forensic Police Services, raising money for the Flying Doctor Service for 2 weeks, found some at Hervey Bay. Then went on to Cania Gorge. And back to Dubbo. Nice and peacefull setting, found quickly and no muggles. TFTC
Catching up on some late logs from our trip back from QLD and a couple of days we had touring in and around Dubbo. We located this one after a easy stroll to the gz, even managed to spot a egret on our way. The cache was located after extending our search area, TFTC Unclestir.
Travelling in NSW, ACT & VIC on family related issues & why would I miss the opportunity to get a few caches along the way.
Quick find.

Linden/6 & Immyky, heading from Brisbane to ACT, following a few windmills along the way.
It would NOT be right to ignore all the caches en-route! LOL ...
Day 2, Tamworth to Orange.
Our 42nd cache on this trip.
Yet another quick find.
A short walk had us at GZ.
Left our mark & replaced as found.
No regrets or egrets here today!
All good with the cache.

We managed to find access to the area via a newer housing estate, which certainly wasn't here last time we were. We enjoyed the walk to the cache location, and managed to find the cache about 10m from the listed coordinates and closer to the path.
Thanks for the hide Unclestir.

After a lovely walk the cache was an easy find as it was exposed. This is a lovely area. SL TFTC
Hi there Unclestir. We found your cache "Egrets 2" at 10:37:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11694.

Today was another nice day for 'caching on our visit to Dubbo.. We started off at a random cache and then navigated by using the "next closest" method to end up logging 13 caches (and DNFing 4).
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 7m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape7 , but the listed trackable (Down Under (TB48WX0)) is not in the cache, could Unclestir (or the Trackable owner) please "Mark the Item as Missing" so it can be removed from the cache inventory. This option is under Actions on the trackable's web page).
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

We had a lovely walk around the lake and waited under the trees for the dog walking muggles to pass by. They are all such cheerful people - is it the dog or the exercise I wonder? Could not see many possible places and soon found the cache. Thanks for showing us a part of Dubbo we never knew existed and for the cache.
It's on the windmill I said as we started our walk. Well you're doing the swimming said my helpful partner. Fortunately there was no swimming involved - just a pleasant stroll to GZ. Thanks for a nice walk and a cache.
We walked up a track before realising we could have driven a lot closer. Following the GPS, we then went a lot further to get to GZ than we needed to, so turned a short stroll into a longer walk. The cache came was spotted from some distance away so we were soon back on our walk. Thanks for a good hide, this is a really nice area.
Out and about early on Dubbo today and time for a few caches before the town wakes up. This was the first one on my list. Coords are good and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache!
We came to Qld to attend the mega and after we headed of to Kingaroy for a couple of day but now we slowly make the trip back to Adelaide grabbing caches along the way, we thank all those hid caches for us to find along our journey back. TFTC
Had a little bit of spare time this afternoon after visiting the zoo, so managed to fit in a couple of caches. I chose this one because I am doing an animal ABC Challenge and didn't have an animal starting with the letter E. Egrets2 looked like it would fit the bill (no pun intended!). Geohubby and Miss 11 watched for birds at the lookout, while I walked to the cache. Not much bird action today, but a nice place to visit anyway - very peaceful. Thanks for bringing us to a lovely part of Dubbo Unclestir.
Lovely sunny day for caching around here
Thanks for the hunting and cache.

Found by Mary & David at 1915. After a very nice meal at the Commercial, we thought we couldn't finish the day on an odd number. Always time for one more find. Plenty of parking, and even though the light was fading, we found the cache snug and dry after a quick search. No egrets to be seen though. Perhaps they were already asleep, or had flown off to somewhere exotic? Our thanks to Unclestir.
QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
On day one of our trip we headed from Canberra to Dubbo. The caching was in the second half of the day at small towns and around Dubbo itself. Mostly it went soothly. This was a fun walk around the pond, but the local birds did not like our intrusion. Thanks.

Found with Albida33 on the way to the Stanthorpe Mega......so please excuse the generic log.
The cache was found without any issues and the log was soon signed....then back in the car and off to continue our travels.
Thanks for the cache and adding to the fun of our Mega trip.....

Quick find, although a good 5 m off our GZ. Lovely spot we would never visited if not for this cache, thanks for bringing us here. TFTC.
Doing a two week road trip of the outback from Canberra through to Cameron's Corner, Broken Hill and the Northern parts of Victoria, and today was one of the Dubbo and surrounds cache days.
Egrets, I've had a few...although, may I say I think they were Ibises.
Loved the nearby windmill and stopped to take a few photos after grabbing the cache and signing the log.
Thanks for the cache and bringing us to this lovely little park/wetlands.

The first day of the new year saw us leaving the Blackman camp site in Warrumbungle National Park and heading west towards Dubbo.
At first we we thought it was a bridge -it wasn't, we had to walk around. Scared a few egrets before signing the log.

Had found this one months ago, yet no smily on my map. I couldn't remember if I submitted my find or not. There was no log from me below, but I have had issues with my logs for Dubbo caches being deleted for no good reason. So rushed back to the spot again to find the cache in the same spot, yet no camo. Grabbed the cache, signed the log, placed the cache, replaced camo. Hope this log lasts. TFTC!
Today we explored Wellington and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and completing 200 Ks for the day on very scenic roads.

NB there was no other trackable in here, maybe he has hopped away and not been logged

What a lovely spot! Left a pen to go with the new temp log. Coords were out, new coords taken with Garmin S32 15.072 E 146 37.832. TFTC!
Found at 5:30 PM in the company of president & 1st lady, GAFF1. We went right past the cache and when we turned around, we spotted it 9 metres away.
It is a lovely spot, especially on such a still and clear day.
Thanks Unclestir.
