Logs

28-Nov-13
One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 28 days), just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Not Found[Time to Find: 16 min] Decided to venture out a bit further from Deloraine to clear up a few caches nearby. I should have updated my PQ, no sign of anything there.

thanks for the heads up. will temporarily disable this until I rectify the problem.

An easy find but this one could be in serious trouble if there is any rain. The plastic bag used by the last finder is already split. Came across a similar themed cache before and they are great for travelling geocachers. Thanks.

This was our 10th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 12:30
So this now makes our total find count 6116.

Time is running out. We leave the Launceston area in a few days, and there's still heaps of caches to find.
If only we had read the logs beforehand, we could have replaced the container. SadSadSad

Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks bubbles1971 for the hunt today.

The container is missing but the contents arestill there.

Please replace the container before any bad weather ruins the swaps.

01-Apr-13
As per found log, new container is required.

Oh dear! Some nasty person has found the cache and taken a liking to the container and gone off with it! I found the tree, and a great stash of books underneath it, including the logbook, but no container! I had a largish bag in my car, so I've put the books in that and tied the top (with the logbook at the top of the pile) and camouflaged it with some bark and foliage, but that will only afford a temporary measure of protection. It's a great library and all items were still in good condition. Even the huntsman on the back of one seemed agreeable to the nice dry area. I left him out of the bag though. Thanks for a top cache though, even without its container.

Kids loved it and it was our first one bring on some more

Nice easy find thanks. Mrs greynomads had only her Kindle so no books swapped today. We did leave a red car for a bottle opener though. This trip to Tasmania going anticlockwise from Devonport is our third trip and the first in our motorhome. This is another cache, there will be many more, hopefully.

Once we got ourselves on the right road, accurate coordinates led to a quick find. What a robust cache container and when we opened it, what a great stock. Thanks for the book swap - made good use although the suggestion is to take something larger than what you put in as "the library" is rather crammed at the moment. TFTC bubbles1971.

What a great idea for a cache. We were all reading our books today so we have none to swap. We did swap an Australian bottle opener for a Pathtag. We have enjoyed riding our bikes out and about around here. TFTC

What a huge cache, very nicely presented. Good cache for our 1000 th GC cache. Left newly minted pathtag. Had no books to swap. TFTC.
