In our party was veteran cacher BelleAkelea, along with ScoutRiki and geo joeys cubs scouts venturers leaders and parents.
Thanks for showing off your backyard with a variety of containers
We apologise for this generic log but finding so many caches in one day they tend to blend into each other and it is hard to remember them all individually but we did enjoy each one.
We took a break from the series to stop and pick this one up, we must say it wasn't a walk on the wild side for us today.
Thanks joshrat10 for the cache.
for a days caching around the bay.
Thanks joshrat10 for the hide,
Regards The Coffee's.
We apologies for this generic log, knowing we would have to repeat ourselves and maybe risk giving too much away.
For us, riding the Equestrian Trail yesterday, proved to be the perfect warm up for today. The variety of cleverly presented hides with truly professional attention to blending them into the surroundings was amazing. Matching the songs to the locations added another element to the fun and enjoyment of the series.
Without wanting to breach the copyright of Paul Simon, could we dare to suggest someone pen lyrics to "Fifty Ways To Hide A Bison"!

Been keen to start the Bay Trail for many months now and finally the day had arrived. Team up with my caching buddy Ahomburg for the attempt and after starting a little bit later then originally intended we on our way. With the number of high quality and varied challenging caches on this side of the trail we were only able to complete half the trail today, turning around at Rosebud and in all a total distance of 23km done today. Along the way we bumped into Landsergruppe & The Swaggies who were also on the trail. We team up for a couple of the caches which was good and some were not so quick to find. Due to the number of caches found I apologies for the generic log today. Overall a very impressive trail awesome work done on all the caches found.
Not part of the Bay trail but a hide which took some searching and helped by the hint.

Time: 10:07am
Find # 3216
Streak: 60 days
My caching partner in crime SedgwickDave and I had decided to head for the Bay Trail on the Mornington Peninsula. The weather was looking great, so off we went. Apologies in advance for the generic logs, just too many caches found today.
I figured I knew where this would be straight away, but alas I was completely wrong, It took a while and the use of the hint to locate the sneaky little cache.
Thanks to joshrat10 for the cache. TNLN
Arrived at GZ and had a good look highs and lows before the sneaky little hide was spotted, now a retrieval plan was made and we had cache in no time. Signed log and replaced in it hiding spot
Thank you For this hide
Find 04 of 06 for the day and #1514 in total.
Log disintegrating in this one but safe hands got it back.

Too good for me this time, saved for another day.

Today our caching team consisting of GazaC, ABL973 & Square_pegs and myself were on a mission to find as many as we could of the Bay Trail series.
Was a quick find along the trail but it took a simian to put it back properly. My thanks for the hide joshrat10.
Thank you for your effort hiding this cache.
Took a few minutes for this one but soon had it in hand without any difficulty

This was an easy one, which I appreciated a lot. T4TC joshrat10!
Fast-forward another few months and I was finally graced with an opportunity to come down and give the series a go. I had just received a Garmin Oregon 600T for a demo from a local store, so I was extremely keen to see how it would go on the trail for a long day.
We arrived at Stanley's Retreat at about 10:30am and set off on our bikes shortly after. After a long day we eventually found the final cache at about 6:30pm. This power trail/series is without doubt the single best one I have ever done - no question. The quality of every hide, the beautiful area - it all just adds up.
This was the 5th find of 67 finds today found at 11:00:00 AM, my second biggest caching day to date. I apologise for a few of the generic logs, my note-taking skills are not very good so I can't quite remember all of the finds.
This one was a tricky little find for sure. Having two men on the job made it easier.
Thanks joshrat10

The original plan was for Miss Jeffany and I to do this whole of the Bay Trail series, but we only ended up with half of them..... this time (plus five extras). Thanks for the cache and the adventure joshrat10!
Walked to the wild west, almost fell in the water, but couldn't find it.
TFTC, joshrat10.
Picked this one up whilst on the hunt for the Bay Trail series.
It wasn't until a few days later when I realised it wasn't part of the PT Nevertheless it was an EZI find towards the end of the day - bold placement BUT a cool hide.
Many thx joshrat for the hide.
Out with Biggles1024 for another cache run to Point Nepean and back.
Once we were at GZ we started to look around, a short time later the cache was located then it was the matter of retrieving it. After accessing the situation there was only one way to get this one so off I went, I was able to grab the cache and then passed it to Mark for the signing and then I replaced it before making my way back to solid ground.
Thanks to joshrat10 for this cache and all the caching fun.

An interesting hide. [;p] It didn't take too long to find it but retrieving it took a while longer. The container is no longer a sistema and the T1.5 rating is too low. T1.5 is only one step above being wheel chair accessible and so this cache is at least a T2.0. SL TFTC
Great day out caching with The Empire.
I could see it but there was no way we'd get it from where i could see it from. The Empire saved the day and went to retrieve this one.

Amused a local council worker who was whipper snippering nearby. We told him about the game, seems we didn't make a muggle into a geocacher but he had a chuckle as I braved the elements to make the grab with the nice new logbook. Thanks for the cache joshrat10.

Nice hide here, and a nice location and structure at GZ. Thanks for bringing us to this one. Enjoyed it. TFTC.
We made our way to the cache hide, a little bit trickier seeing it was dark now, but with plenty of torch light we made it to GZ and soon had the cache found and the log signed. A nice hide and well done. Thanks.
I wonder what this area was like it was called 'Shark Bay'? Seeing Sharks swimming about would have impressive.
It didn't take too long before we spotted the cache so while we waited for the nearby sailors to do what they do, Square_pegs and I took the time to workout how we'd get it. Attempt #1 failed so it was up to me to make attempt #2 more successful. It made me smile when I extracted it but I kinda felt I was being watched....after signing the log and returning the cache we were making our exit when we were asked if we were geocaching. Hi Joshrat10...it was nice to meet you. Thanks for hiding the cache here and for the local history lesson. I enjoyed the challenge of getting to your cache. A favourite for me I look forward to finding more of your caches.
So we set off and arrived to see a "suspicious looking character" with the goods in his hand who saw us approaching with our GPS. Great to meet you Team Oaky! We chatted for a while then noticed someone else watching us .. He approached us and it turned out to be the CO's father. We chatted a little more and then decided to head to another nearby cache which was recommednded by TO.
So although we didnt need to go on the Wild Side we enjoyed the cache all the same and the opportunity to meet a local cacher.

It was only a few weeks ago while driving past after finding “Stanly’s retreat” just up the road, that I thought that this spot would make a good spot for a cache and here I am a few weeks later finding one.
Shorty after arriving at GZ I looked at the attributes then the cache name and then the terrain level, hmmm something doesn’t add up. So I made my way to the bank and spotted the cache pretty much straight away, hmmmm surly with that terrain level I should be able to get the cache with out to much trouble, just a matter of timing the Muggles right. Well managed to time it and just managed to reach the cache. Found a spot to sit down and sign the log and wait for an opportunity to replace it, after a short time there was a lull in the muggle traffic. Right go! But just as I got to GZ again I noticed another team of caches heading towards me (big grins and phones/ GPS in hand dead giveaway) as it turned out it was Team GJMmelb just arrived for a weeks holiday. After introductions and discussing how to try a get the cache back, we noticed a group of people on the beach with that same grin. Well it wasn’t long before one of them walked over and introduced himself as part of the CO team. Ah this is the best thing about finding new caches, you sometimes get to run into other cachers.
I now know how the cache was supposed to be retrieved so may I suggest reversing the Terrain/Difficulty but apart from that another excellent cache for this wonderful area
Thx Joshrat10 for a brilliant first cache and thx for the mini event and chat everyone
[teal] Merci beaucoup
Cheers
