Visited the site of the cache with Crystal Fairy only to find it gone missing. I won't be up there for a few months so maybe someone else might like to pop a cache of their own here in the mean time. I think the site should have one.
A very cool spot but despite four of us searching everywhere for quite some time no cache was found.
Staying at Pukeora for a vintage car rally so it would be rude not to do this cache, a couple of muggles drove up for a photo as I was putting the cache back and seem to know about it great to see
A fairly quick find at this location with an interesting history and a fabulous view, although the water in the well wasn't very inviting. TFTC
God I love geocaching! It brings you to such cool places, really enjoyed the view from here. A nice overlook of my new hometown Y-puk. I should seriously get myself a geocaching friend over here though.. Anyway, TFTC!
Used to race up here in the pukeora hill climb
Heading for Napier but Caches like this break the journey many thanks

had to fill in time while people were there so drove futher down to look at the old buildings which is something we enjoyed as we have been past many times. after they left it was a quick find as it wasnt well hidden. added handmade swag and well hid it. tftc
People hanging around so we did the drive by - think they got the hint and left. Cache a little exposed so we signed log and covered well. TFTC
This was a nice surprise on our way home from Napier. It was an enjoyable break off the main road to find this cache and admire the wonderful view.
Thank you so much for bringing us here. While we all jumped back in the car it was muttered "And this is why we geocache". Can't get too much of a compliment than that!

Well, whoever would think of putting a cache up here , still a good view too

This find took longer than it should, I must have checked every rock in the formation. But I found it in the end.
On a mission to find 50 caches in one day all at least 1 km apart. Left Hastings in the morning and collected the required 50 by the time we had reached Masteron. Mission achieved. Thanks for placing this cache and enabling us to complete our mission.
Part of the mission with Team Welsh to get 50 caches 1 Km apart. Fabulous views. t4tc
A dodgy looking muggle was lurking in his car metres away, was glad to have geokids with us for extraction while adult bodies blocked, kids fly under the radar more easily than adults in these circumstances. A lovely view.
2:53:00 PM. Home for a week to catch up with the family. Out for a look around Palmy and catch up on a few caches. They have certainly sprung up in the last last 3 years since we were last back. A trip to Napier and back back today to show the better half a bit more of the country. Now I expected to still come over this hill on the way into town and had told the better half about the great views so had to detour on the way home. TFTCSL
Find on my way to Wellington. Used to come here as a kid and throw coins in the well long before the road was rerouted. Thanks for the cache
Woohoo took kitty cat with us was her 1st cache. Here from Napier playing our rugby 7s tourney in ypuk. Manage to get away to do some caches. Lovely day let's go Pirates :0)
All quiet here today, rather drizzly and misty. Looked for this one with Tramper Ted, took a bit of hunting but she spotted it in a place I had already looked at. TFTC.
With Edvern on the way back to Palmerston North. A short diversion up the scenic route. Interesting spot and nicely hidden cache. TFTC

Heading from Wairoa to Wellington via Cape Palliser. Took a small detour here. (I'm sure I found a cache here once before). I found this one in the well! Rehid it as per the hint - hopefully in the correct spot. TFTC.

Out on a Geocaching road trip with my wife and dog, and having a run in our new convertible.
Nice to get a little off the main road and explore this great location. Thanks for the detour and little history lesson. We wouldnt have found this place if it werent for geocaching. Giving a favourite point for the view.

Napier to Castlepoint today, and a spot of caching too. A magic view over the valley. Thanks for the hide.
On a bit of a Mission today to complete a stage of the GCLS with a final drive to collect the required caches. It will be a long day as i also have had to fit in work with it as well.
This was the 6th cache in the quest. A nice and quick stop.

A perfect day to enjoy the views, & no muggles to bother us.
Left a pet rock - a butterfly. TFTC

Nice spot and a quick find on our way north today. Think they may have been a cache here in the past.

At least the second time I have been I a cache here. Like the asphalt trapdoor. TFTC
at Music Festival at Pukeora Lodge...had to go walkies in free time...drizzling....great views all the same...clever but simple hide
Another cheeky retrieval and cache signing required although the two gentlemen nearby were discussing some point of interest in the other direction to us. Some beautiful views from here this morning. TFTC
Have been up here before but no cache here at that stage. Lovely views but noticed muggles outside the house above, but don't think they would be able to see much from there. Quick find - TFTC
Found on a bit of a road trip with TuisReturn.

This was once a very familiar spot but we never normally come this way now the main road goes around below. We saw no other traffic up here, except for the muggles that had to arrive just ahead of us! Fortunately they didn't stay too long, and we all enjoyed the expansive views. Once we had the place to ourselves it was a quick find, and good to get back in the car out of the chilly wind. TFTC
Trip to Hawkes Bay to see friends. Three stops on our way up their, three quick finds. We enjoyed the view. TFTC
Was in the Hawkes Bay to attend the Cache In Trash Out Event, Three Rivers Converge at Clive, (GC45K3R) I found this cache on my way home. Found, signed log then replaced. TFTC
On the way to Clive for the CITO on a drizzley, rainy day. So Etherlord parks as close as he can. Hey! 3m away! And I haven't even got out of the car! Retrieved, signed, replaced, and back in the car in no time flat, between raindrops. On to Clive...
Found on the way to the Clive CITO event.
Based on the 'hint' in the description, I parked the car with the bumper between the posts and then got out. A quick find
Thank you for placing a cache here and for the very interesting history in the description.

I lived here way back , and remember this approach into Waipukurau. Enjoyed the view and the reminiscing. Nice quick find

Waited for a stretching jogger to continue her run... before looking for the cache, nice views of the sunrise, TFTC.

Shady spot to park under the tree and a quick find. It's been a while since heading over the hill. TFTC
Lovely spot! Used to work here in the early days of the winery. This time with grandkids Jack & Lily.
Nice one! An interesting place for the cache. Nice to see a new cache here too. No one about so was able to search and find the cache in peace. Read the info board too. TFTC, Biggles.
Waiting for shops to open, so we decided to drive out and do the Pukeora loop.
The lookout appears to have seen much better years. Like so many things in small rural towns; if they get neglected, they quickly fall into ruin. The view from here though is priceless. As always, most passing motorists zoom along the road below, oblivious to the history above them. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
