I do it think this one is there anymore had a good look despite the spiders.....no joy!
DNF. We think it’s a no go, somebody might have taken it. Or we just didn’t look in the right place. TFTC!
Out and about our local burbs, muggle hubby and I were walking the neighbour's dog, and scouting out a potential new hide. Needed to make sure the potential was not violating cache saturation, so strolled over to Take Action, noting the distance. Had a good look, and feel around all the likely spots... but failed to find the cache.
Found all the references in previous logs and found the holes referenced. No cache. Might have been pushed in too far to reach. We tried magnetic stick and retractable mirror to no avail. Time to push on.
Drop my wife to the vet then head here as it was in closer and log in TFTC genghicat
Plenty of spidery hidey holes to look in! Found the prize in the very last one....tftc!
Attempt number 2 for me. This time I brought along a helpful friend that is brave when faced by spiders.
Before long he had the cache in hand so we could scribble our name down. I liked the hide.. Definitely out of muggle view.

Good little find, took us a couple of attempts - a magnet on a stick is a good tip for the arachnophobic geocacher... Thanks for the cache, definitely helped fill in a rainy day
We were in the area picking up a few caches that I have been meaning to get to, this being one of them.
I scouted out possible locations... No luck though.
After then reading through some previous logs I had a pretty good idea of where this one is hiding. I spyed a large spider **shudder**.. No way was I sticking my hand in there. Yes, I really am such a sook.
Which leaves me with a dnf.. I will be back though and I'll bring someone with a little more courage.

This cache was perfect for my needs today! I needed a daily on a misreable day of rain, and this cache offered it UNDER COVER!!!!
Brought the geodaughter along and she made the quick find. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache

Found 3:04 pm. I was nearby after doing a drop off so decided to do the caches in the area. I had actually passed this one to drop off spot. Now arriving back parked geovehicle nearby and headed over to GZ. Started my search and as I had done some of these before knew the hide can be a tricky spot. Checked a few earlier logs which confirmed my thoughts. Checked the usual suspect areas then moved onto the next section not obvious at first but yep there was the likely hiding spot. So taking a leap of faith and where other cachers had likely gone before me I did end up discovering the cache along with a plastic toy. I signed the log and returned the cache along with toy. Thankfully during this time no one needed the shelter.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Clever little hide.
But kinda got a fright when I went back to my car and found a dude reaching under my car (he didn't see me watching him) but after a while I realised he was picking cigarettes butts around the parking... erm ok.... I think it's time to get out of here.

Tough one to find! GPS didn't settle. Looked in all the obvious spots first. Then held my breath and reached in. Yeeewl. Managed to fit in a small TB too. Thanks genghicat.
ALL7 and i went to Raiders Club for lunch with our friend so thought to stop over to get some caches around near there. TFTC
Nashy1986 and i went to Raiders Club for lunch with our friend... Make quick find few caches at holder.... Thanks
Today we travelled to Canberra with a couple of caches in out to do list. We achieved those and more. The weather was perfect.
We managed to collect several different types on the day. Thanks to all the Co for placing these caches here for all to enjoy. TFTC

Gah, soooo many spiders!!!! But with trust stick (or three ... seriously, there were lots of spiders!!!) the cache was quickly in hand. A lovely still night. Tftc
Needed my swrd (spider web removal device) here but otherwise a nice find all in good order. Dipped some tbs TFTC.
I had previously sought this one and drawn a blank but, after finding an Action cache at Ainslie, I had a better idea of where to look, even though the GPS was directing me to the nearby statue. Success!
Thank you genghicat for the cache and the boost to my caching confidence!

A nice find on the second last day of the year, as I went out with the Geomum to tick off some suburbs we haven't cached in yet, and to round off the year with some caching. Found 7 of 7.
A sneaky little hide, but found quickly as no body was around to catch a bus at 4pm in the 30 degree weather.

I'm aiming to get another 150 caches by the end of the month, so looked for somewhere where caches were concentrated. Uriarra/Cotter looked like a good option. I stopped here after doing most of the 'Back of Cotter Scenic Trail'. Quickly found. TFTC.

Quickly found and signed log as we sat admiring all the cockatoos asleep in the trees across from GZ. How apt it was, as the Holder Shops main sign is of a cockatoo. Tftc!!!
One of the best things with these caches is a convenient seat to log your find! While signing noticed the trees on the other side of the road are full of cockies resting for the night. So many easily seen against the night sky. TFTC.
Found with Coybear2000. We were in the area and decided to try this one. We arrived at GZ but my GPS took a little while to settle. C was already looking in the correct area. I soon joined him and started searching. Eventually we located the hide, but we had a bit of trouble extracting the cache. Once we had it out we signed the log and then noticed that perhaps it should be hidden differently to how we found it. I won't give a spoiler but that is how we re-hid it. TFTC
In the area with Trodectus. Arrived GZ and after a bit of searching found the cache but had a bit of difficulty retrieving it. Log signed and we returned how we thought cache should be placed. TFTC
No lick but a lot of spiders so not sticking fingers in holes. Will ho back with bug spray soon.
Our GPS was a bit off in end, but we used experience from a previous bus shelter cache to look for likely places for it to hide. Lots of ants, but not on the cache. TFTC!
F(H)ound It! No.1370 - @6:10:00 PM
Our last for today. After several days of rain I expected to see a lot more people out on such a lovely day. But it is very, very quiet. Perhaps it has something to do with a significant sporting event that is on this weekend.
I spent too much of my youth sitting in these shelters waiting for a bus to get me out of here! Thanks for the cache, genghicat

Found after sorting out daughter's horse for the evening. I remember this area well, as daughter used to attend the local dance school, 20m away. At GZ, we both looked in the likely spots and then came up with the goods. TFTC
I found it after like 1 hour but there was a lot of red backs

1:30pm 28/8 - Set out today to collect a few of the southern suburbs missing from the [Canberra Mapping Challenge](https://coord.info/GC5KB4J) - this was #7 of 8 for the day.
I've done a few of genghicat's Take ACTION caches, and luckily they aren't all the same. This however is one of the creepier ways of hiding - hold your breath and stick your fingers in! Coz Australians just expect to have to feel around inside holes potentially full of things that could do you damage (no redbacks spotted here today - but doesn't mean they aren't there).
TFTC genchicat.

My first Geocache, yay! But didn't have a pen so will go back to sign the sheet. Thanks Genghicat! :smile_cat:
Found in the dark which increased the level of difficulty (for me anyway!) nearly gave up when I finally got my fingers on the cache.

A much friendlier find than the last cache of this style that I found (in Ainslie) - that one was buried deeeep in its hidey hole. TFTC
Ok ... Was down this way (In Rivett actually) visiting after work - had to say happy 4 th birthday to my grand daughter
Had a little bit of spare time in between leaving there, and a quilting meeting, to find a cache or 3 ... and the one I originally had in mind was along the back way out, which I wasn't going because Coppins crossing was closed ... So ... I looked at the map and decided this might be a good area to duck in and do a drive by ... yes - it was - picked the closest one, parked almost in front of it, made a quick find, so I decided to come and look for this one too - found it quite fast, then drove back near the first one and went for a short walk and grabbed a third, then just made it to my quilt meeting in time
TFTC - interesting little adventure - parked at the shops ... Where there were two cop cars ... One left before I got out of the car, the other was still there when I left ... buying dinner maybe?
My phone pointed me to the other side of the road, but when I got there it pointed me back to this side, so I went and looked in the obvious, and found it after looking in the wrong end first ... ah yes - doesn't every normal person poke their fingers in cobweb filled holes in bus shelters? - lol

Found this after a quick visit to the shops. We knew where it was but were a little uneasy about putting our hands into the place as it was full of cobwebs. It's amazing how many hiding places you don't notice when you're waiting for a bus to come. TFTC genghicat.
Thanks for the cache. looked in all the wrong spots before looking in the right one to score a find.
A sneaky little hide for sure! While I was checking all over the place ambi666 made a nice and quick find. The shops were completely dead due to it being Easter Sunday which meant we had the place to ourselves.
Thanks genghicat!
Thanks genghicat!
I was looking for a nice easy cache after completing a very hard marathon walk, but there was no joy for me today. If it is a nano I may have missed it, although given the time that has elapsed since the last find I suspect that it may have gone??
Visiting my mother in Holder while on a trip from Melbourne, a bit nostalgic hanging around the old round Canberra bus stops

Another find for the night, there were many 'cache guardians' in the location D:
We enjoyed the artwork on the bus stop before moving inside to make the find. Thanks genghicat
Last cache of the day, and another easy find. Employed technology to save on the spiderwebs. This might have been the cache that was not in its exact spot, so replaced it as per previous hides. Thanks Genghicat for this little series - will have to come back later and make good on the DNFs
Joolay and I made the grab on this cache on a lunchtime cache run to build up my numbers - I am trying to get to 3000 by the end of the year. Nice little hide though I had to be brave to make the grab and keep an eye out for the many muggles about. Thanks again genghicat
Found today with Kittykatch. Took us a little while to work it out. Managed to pick up milk while I was in the area. TFTC
Headed down this end of town today to complete some of this series and pick up another few caches. Each in the series was a great hide, some similar, however a fair bit of variety to throw you off at each turn

Geeze what are the chances of someone waiting for a bus on a Sunday afternoon! I will have to try another time.
Not many places to hide it but it still took me and the missus about 10 minutes to find. TFTC.
Found while checking out locations for the street orienteering course i've been setting.
Found it eventually.
Co-Ords are about 10m out
Luckily there was nobody waiting for Angus or this may have been a lot harder.
