Unable to find. Unfortunately another name to DNF group no smiley face for me
Added our names to the list of cant find. Ill try again another day weve run out of time to continue looking.
Adding our name to the growing list of DNF's we spent at least 15minutes searching high and low but no Smiley for us, Maybe the CO needs to check it out!
Posts must have been there for a while for the tree to swallow them up like that. Tftc
Spending a family day out & about cache finding. Quick easy find. Nice quick area.

Suscoe was working our way homewards today.
We had enjoyed a few days caching around the Kerang region.
We decided to take a slightly longer way home to find a few more caches and to enjoy some new countryside.
Thanks to Kaneira for showing us this place.
The sky was starting to cloud up a bit more making the temperature a little more pleasant.

Find No. 3064. Found at 11.58am.
With Covid restrictions being lifted it was now time to go for a days outing with Geodog Penny and FUF009, and do some caching.
As we wanted to collect the 'Wonders of the World' stamps we decided to head up Kerang way, targeting the caches that held the stamps we both needed. Naturally we done a few extras along the way. How could you go past a cache that was close and handy to the road we were travelling on?
Our first find for the day and one that wasn't on our list. FUF009 had found this one some time ago but of course never gave us any hints on where to look. Lucky for us it was a nice quick easy find. Log signed and on our way we went

Our first weekend away since March. We based ourselves in Boort for a quiet weekend. After the rain on Friday we decided on a country run to see the area. Our first cache, a quiet road. Good to see some native grasslands are being saved. A neat hide. Thanks K&M
This morning I was in Boort to see the Spannerman’s sculptures. They were awesome!!! Keeping the streak alive on a Sunday. I was surprised how busy the road was. Three cars passed during the hunt. The hint had me hanging for a while but then I saw it! Clever and unexpected hide for the day equals fav point added. TFTC
Collecting some caches today on the way home from the mega event at St Arnauds. Thanks for the cache.
Thank you for the very informative cache page information. The area, to us uninitiated, we would never have realised the significance. SL TFTC
An interesting contrast here between the two sides of the road !! [:o]
I do like the natural look of the grasslands [^]
A read of the info sign is edumacational too

Found while out around Wedderburn trying to pick up some smileys. This was an easy find sort of, would of If I wasn't overcome by a sudden attack of cache blindness. Still I found it. TFTC.
Found quickly, ants have made their home in with the cache... careful when retrieving the cache!
Apart from the grasses we couldn't see anything flowering today.
Passed a big dead brown snake on the road nearby.

Heading home after staying in St Arnaud for the weekend, taking every opportunity to grab a cache. A quick find at GZ.
Thanks Kaneira for placing the cache for us to find.

Enjoying a great day in Wedderburn and surrounding areas while caching in the company of GemmaSistema and Wozzle68. By now we were trying to outrun the looming black skies behind us as we worked our way eastward , cleaning up this unchartered area.
Thanks Kaneira for the hide.
Thanks Kaneira for the hide.
Today I cached Wedderburn and surrounds with The Tritonz and Wozzle68. We had a fabulous day exploring the area and finding a great variety of hides. So many creative hides! Many thanks
We decided to have a short break from fishing and go for a little drive to find this cache. There were more fish here than what we've caught so far. tftc
While camping close to this cache with kenare and kenbryl, we couldn't let it go undiscovered. At Gz it looked like a public dumping ground for pest fish, something caught our eye and log was signed. Cigc. Tftc
Sean.75, kenbryl and I are camping closeby for a weekend of fishing. So far we have 2 caches and no fish, lol. While stepping over numerous fish remains something caught my eye so I headed in that direction. The cache and book are in great condition. Thanks for highlighting the area with your placement. Tftc
Wedderburn[?] An event[?] Mega something or other[?] Hmmm, maybe I'd better go and see what this is all about!
How could I say no to a weekend in Wedderburn with so many cool caches near there to find!
Lots of fun was had , as were a few tears, but then that's life [^]
Generally this was a very quiet weekend for me as I only found 20 caches , attended 1 event and had 1 DNF
Sometimes though it isn't about the quantity but it's more about the quality [^]
Today was travelling back to Shepparton day and after sleeping in Harry last night, I said goodbye to some friends and then wandered around picking up a few caches on my way home
I love the fact that some people have the passion to preserve native areas for the future! [^] Thank you [:X]
A quick find of an almost sneaky hide here

After setting up camp in Wedderburn, it was time for a bit of fossicking - not for gold - geocaches of course! A family of ants were in residence on top of the cache here, so they had to be relocated before we could add our name to the log of this neat hide. Image added.
Our thanks to Kaneira for placing this cache.

A quick stop , only just off the road we were travelling & a very beautiful area pity we only saw it by dark.
I made this find much harder than it was while my partner stayed warm in the car. TFTC

Find #1543 @ 1607H
Seeing that the skys were kinda clear I decided to head off on a small cache hunt (small in number not in distance) A total of 9 cache grabs but with a distance of 250ks round trip for the day.
the last diversion on my way home from on a long caching drive. it must have been the fact that I had travelled so far, but this cache eluded me for some time. I searched and searched and even after reading the hint I still could not find it. but then thinking back on another cache that I found today I had and ides and.... why oh why didn't I look there before.
It is interesting to see a Native grassland area, its certainly different to see this, other than the normal bushland aeras.
TFTC Kaneira, another good hide.

We had been to Kerang for a family function and made our way back via some back roads. What an unexpected find out here. Thanks for the diversion. TFTC
I had the day off work and decided to use it caching. While finishing off some of the nearby caches I decided to make my way across here. While we always seem keen to keep the forests and create national parks (which isn't a bad thing) it's good to see the same preservation occurring with our grasslands.

A trip to Boort with a bit of time up our sleeve, so we did a diversion to visit this cache on a sunny but 'Wintery' day. Interesting to see how Nature manages survival in a harsh environment. Thanks for the cache Kaneira.
Found this interesting little cache in between showers on the way from Inglewood to Boort, to watch friends battle it out in an indoor bowls match.
Thanks Kaneira for the cache and information.

Took the geokids for a drive around while staying nearby with family.
This was a good intro for the gk's. The view is nice at the moment, as there's a cover of green all over.

A pleasure of geocaching is the unexpected places it takes you that pleasantly surprise. The Grasslands here are one of those finds more so if you take a little extra time to look at the flora, let alone the more elusive fauna. The spot on coordinates helped for an relatively quick find, even with my geoblunted eyes, though having help courtesy of 'The Comrades' was more to the point for this one. Thank you to Kaneira for another interesting caching experience.

Heading out this afternoon for a few caches in the Korong Vale area. Found with no difficulty. Thanks for placing this cache.
Found by Roma and Max.
Such a pleasantly cool evening after a spell of hot weather and a new cache published within our usual search perimeter provided the ideal opportunity for a drive into the countryside.
However we will have to return in daylight hours to fully appreciate these unique grasslands.
Thank you Kaneira for good numbers again which led us to your well hidden container.
No joy with the scratchie but we did appreciate the intent.
Cheers,
from Romax.
