Hop step and jump abd there it is thanks Adamsfamilyof5 for the cache. Yep the lid is tigth
We are in the area and deviated here to find this cache. Parking was at a premium as there were lots of tradies close by. After a bit of checking, the cache was located. The lid was rusted on, but some not so gentle persuasion and it was opened. Thanks for the placement, AdamsFamilyof5.
Out and about in sth Auckland.Found but the lid is too tight for an old lady to open.I have photo for proof..
I'm on a week's annual leave, choosing to spend time traveling north to visit and reconnect with a few friends up here, and naturally that also gives me an opportunity to do some caching up this way again. But all good things must come to an end, and so today is day 7 which is the big drive back south again.
This was my first grab of the trip, a short walk from where I'd been staying in Huntington Park. I'd been here once before a while back, but today I had more time on my hands and could make the find at my leisure.
With the log signed I was able to replace it all as found and finally be on my way south.
Thanks for placing this one.

Over this way after dropping the teen to college for a day of exams..... felt the need to grab a cache and spotted this one on it's lonesome.
Parked nearby and made the short walk to GZ.
Cache was all good.

Well after no luck last time, Mr 12 found this one straight away and had the log signed in no time, happy to make this one a smile now.

Mr 12 searched n searched to no avail, will come back and search further whwn we have more time.
Cache container replaced with like for like and new plastic bag for log so it’s all good again.
Found this one. Track reopened so access all good. Will replace lid-less container another day when bring grandees here to find it too. TFTC.
I think this cache may need maintenance as the path is closed and the trees have been cut right back.
Just out for a walk and came by to find this cache. Area east a bit slippery with the recent rain but cache paper was all good despite the container having no lid.
Out for a late afternoon look for some nearby caches. This was the first of the day for hayleyfcy and myself. I walked right past it, but hayleyfcy spotted it rather quickly. Thanks!
Sooo... despite the cache name, my first thought was to check a sprinkler in the corner of the property nearby because I thought it was an odd place for a sprinkler when it's right by the fence corner and there weren't really plants around - anyway, that is definitely not the cache, so please don't disassemble it like we did hahaha. Anyway, didn't take long after that to correct my search area and spot the cache. Cache is in good condition, though it was more wedged than hanging when we found it. Tftc
Up in Auckland for a great day of caching, cleaning out some previous DNF's and some newly published hides, thats for placing and mainting the cache.
Family came to Auckland for shopping and catching up with relatives. I've come for a caching walk. Thanks for the cache. Found on my way back to path.
It took a while to find it. Started at wrong place. Then spotted. All good here. TFTC
Found this today with Geoson S (he spotted it actually) while we were watching a 3 legged cat on route to the shops.
I was interested in finding the ruins of the Guy homestead mentioned in the description, but I was pleased to find out (thanks, google!) that this historic ruins have been restored and now exist as Piccolo Park Early Learning Centre, which I have admired from Ti Rakau Rd.
TFTC! (& for starting me on a local history search ).

Great weather for a little Geocaching Tour! I could spot a couple of Caches in the area around Burswood.
Looked at the wrong places first but found it finally.
Thanks for hiding!

We were out trying to get a few caches towards the Hidden Creatures and also to creep ever closer to finding out 500th cache. This was our third cache of the day.
As the whole team was feeling a bit peckish, we all popped into Pakuranga Plaza for a quick snack to refuel. While there, we decided to hit the Huntington Park area and get some of the caches in there. So we headed on over to this one. We arrived and started looking around for the cache. The GPS on our phones were putting us firstly in one place, then another, then yet another. Finally, we settled on a certain area and started searching that with a bit more vigor.
We were not having any luck when we decided to contact the CO. With no reply on the phone, we had to keep on looking. When the CO messaged us and asked for our phone number, it was then than Mr. Kiwi finally found the cache. So a quick, "don't worry, found it" message was sent back all was good in the world.

Out making the most of the sunny weather for a few hours even if the wind is cold.made a quick find here thanks to the hint.seems that a few animals have even made this there home
A pleasant find here on the way home from work. Co-ords spot on, a quick look and there it was. All dry and safe, so signed and scarpered. TFTC
I was in the area running a few errands with the kids so decided to swing by this one on the way. On approach to GZ two small dogs from the house close by came running out and started to bark giving our loction away, but luckily the owner just pulled them back inside. I was a little wary after that but the cache was spotted fairly quickly so we hopped it out of there before the dogs came back TFTC!
I was invited to head out with C&D on another caching trip, this time to Auckland to focus on the hides in the Dannemora and Flast Bush areas, plus a couple of other cache clusters a bit further South. An early start meant we got the most out of the day with over 50 finds, on a wide range of caches, which varied the day nicely. I myself had no specific plan for the day, bar there were a couple of puzzle caches in the area which I had solved and was hoping to finally claim the smilie for.
All in all another great day out caching, with the weather gods on our side (bar being very wet underfoot in a few parks), some great hides and as usual great company. A big thanks to all the CO's for the placements.

Out with Jag50 and Merlot58. We didn't have high hopes of finding this one after the previous DNFs, so we headed to GZ and merlot said she'd found it before Mrs Jag50 and I had even reached GZ yet!
Out East with Aiden29 and Merlot58 finding caches. This was our quickest find for the day. We had barely left the path when Merlot58 called out that she had found it!
I joined up with Jag50 and Aiden29 for an afternoon of caching in East Auckland. Having seen previous dnfs we thought we may have been in for quite a search but I spied the cache as soon as we reached GZ so I have to say it was a quick easy find.
Sorry to say I found nothing either hanging or forked in this lovely tree tonight...
Waiting for my granddaughter to finish school, so a good day for a quick caching trip. No problems finding this one. TFTC
Miss Davieland is at a party in the area so though I'd pick up a few local caches. Nice quick find. Log duly signed and cache returned. TFTC.
Suddenly spotted it after looking straight at it a few times. Beautiful location, signed the log accompanied by birdsong
We made this one a bit harder than it needed to be, and were scratching our heads until we turned around and "oh, there it is"
After the Breakfast Event it was time for a zoom around a bit of East Auckland I haven't really cached in before - so lots to choose from. Thanks all, for placing the caches!
After dropping flowers off at Mt Wellington this evening we headed out east to pick up a few caches. Donned our head torches and headed down the path to GZ. It took a bit of searching but eventually we spotted the cache. Thanks.
Trying to pick up a few caches before Geobowling. This was the first of what only turned out to be finds tonight. Had us hunting for a while, amazing how these things just blend in. TFTC
Quick and easy fun today. Initially overshot the mark- got a bit too overenthusiastic in my search- then I turned around to reorient myself, and there it was, right under my nose, just hanging out and waiting for me! TFTC
Fun little cache. Was about to give up and it was hanging out just behind me! TFTC.
Found this one hanging around waiting for our car repair nearby.

Off to the Puzzled??? event up the road with garball and arrived early enough to do a few caches, this was the first, the name of this cache made spotting this one easier. tftc

Picked casaba3 up a bit early to attend the Puzzled??? event to try and find a couple of caches beforehand. Didn't park as close as we thought and had to find our way around the Hub buildings first. My GPSr was about 5m different from casaba3's so I was looking in slightly the wrong area and my partner in stealth had the cache located before I had time to look further afield. Thanks for placing UncleSamNZ (didn't realise at this point I was going to meet you today!)
Mr F spotted it quickly whilst I was looking in the wrong direction. TFTC.
Unusual name for the cache, but found it anyhow using my trusty head torch.
Looked around for a bit, then turned to look from a different side and there it was.
Start of a lovely saturday caching. Mr NZT bought the coffees and we were on our way. Approached GZ with some trepidation, success with these types of hanging caches has been a bit hit and miss, well this was a quick hit! Yay!! TFTC
Looked in all the wrong places for a short while then turned around and spotted it! Nice hide. TFTC
Hanging out in the area with friends. Gardener working in garden near by but just out of view
Wasnt "hanging".. it had been "forked".. as per the previous cache I didnt have a pen so log not signed. . Tftc.. with the lovely wendythebean

My mega NZ MEGA 2013 Trip!! Split into two halves - first, the journey up, and then the second half was the actual MEGA time.
This was the second half. After relocating a rental car to get up here, I now had 6 days in Auckland.
Decided to come out this way after the mornings events as /dev/gc0c wanted to log the mega as a milestone, and so did I - meaning we had just a couple hours to quickly come up with about 30 finds... tough!! So we went out howick-ish since I have found almost all the inner city caches already.
Sorry about the not as epic logs - but otherwise I would still be logging till Christmas - and that's Christmas 2014 I mean! Haha.

Reperio at 1140.
Found on day 3 of my visit to the North Island as a part of the upcoming NZ Mega event weekend, and after finding a good place to park, I walked over to GZ half expected the cache to take a few minutes to find...but it was spotted straight away.

No joy last time with some locals at home in the backyard, this time i was undisturbed.
Wandered along the track and found the cache. Nice to have the homestead named. We've seen it often and wondered. Shame about the fire. PINO TFTC
Wandered over from the Hub to get to this GZ. Didn't take too long to spot the cache. Enjoyed the sunny footpath, not having ever walked along here before. TFTC.
