TFTC! Normal caching foray in the suburbs of greater Perth on a lovely Thursday afternoon with Cravo10. This week we decided to head out to lesmurdie, something we instantly regretted when the weather turned out to be quite warm, probably not the best idea to be inland when we could be caching in the breeze off the coast of this wonderful state of ours!
Anyway we had a couple of small loop trails to complete that were leftover from our last visit to lesmurdie a few months back with KrabiBoy, so we knocked over the first and then Cravo mentioned a cider brewery he had seen signs for on the way..being a bit worked over by the heat we decided to have a couple of taste trays (highly recommended) which turned out to be not too far a walk from another cache and then the fernandogirls last day of the school holidays trail near the Munda vbiddi track! Good planning some say!
Another lovely day out with a nice mixtures of hides, although we did have a couple of DNFs but we have so many caches to find out here we will be back soon! Thanks

Out for collecting some smileys in the hills today with the geo-girlfriend.
Second series we planned for the day. After parking nearby we headed into the forest.
Surprising hides along the trail, TFTH.

After completing a couple of series before lunch we decided to 'head for the hills' with iluvtrekking & JacobsCrew2 to tackle this series. Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon wandering through beautiful reserve and enjoying the bush aromas after the recent rain. A lot of thought put into each container and placement. Thanks monf
I had a few hours to kill before the rest of the family woke up so I headed out to the hills just before dawn to see how many caches I could find until I got the hurry-up call to get home. Very peaceful, still morning. Saw many kangaroos, several large lizards and I was almost run over by about a dozen mountain bikers. Such a great area to explore. While this one seemed close to the road, there were no cars driving by. Quick find thanks to accurate coords. TFTC monf
Came back up to the hills today to finish off this little series that a started a few months ago. A pleasant walk through the bushland with some interesting cache containers.
Arrived at GZ here and had a quick find.

I had a few hours to spare this morning before meeting the family for lunch so i headed back up this way to pick up a few caches.
Ive been meaning to do this series for ages so today was the day to do it. I really enjoyed the walk to all the caches and with spot on co-ords all the novel cache containers were found quickly. I will have to give you a favourite point for each one of the caches. TFTC monf

I was in this area for the first time today and I had about 30 caches on the to-do list. I was able to find all but one and I thoroughly enjoyed the quality and creativity of the hides around here
A nice easy find with a neat camo. TFTC monf

I was in the area today hunting for new and old caches ... this was on the 'DNFs to clear up list', and it was the last cache of the day for me. A quick find this time.
Thanks for the cache trevkevred and to you monf for keeping this series going ... last time I was here, Jenny joined me and walked around a couple of the caches with me, so I know know how much this series means to her. RIP trevkevred

Out for a day of caching in the hills with my family & Mistraluna... Mistraluna found this one! TFTC Trevkevred & Monf
Headed out with my boys & Mistraluna for a bit of caching up in the hills today... I had spotted these group of caches on the map earlier in the week & thought we may be able to check them out today! A quick find was made here before we got the kids organized for the rest of the walk
TFTC Trevkevred & for continuing this series for her monf... Great walking trails, kid friendly & fun caches too This one was an easy find & brought a smile once found!

Teamed up with jasenjanine and DangerMouse09 and headed up this way to grab a few caches. Apart from a few problems with caches not uploading onto my gps, we still managed to find all this fantastic series series without a hitch. Hadn't realized this area was here. DangerMouse managed to ride his bike around most of the loop. Lots of wildflowers in bloom along the way to admire too. Thanks to the original CO's for the sentiment that went into placing them, and thanks to monf for keeping them going.
After yesterday torrential rains we were delighted that this morning dawned bright and clear. Just the day for a walk along some bush trails in an area we had not visited before. Noting the higher percentage of favorites bestowed along this series it promised that it could be an entertaining walk. WE stated near Valencia Rd and circled anticlockwise managing to stay on the trails almost all the way. We were delighted with the extra effort that had gone into placing these micros in the bush and the personal history they represented. Thanks for taking over these caches monf and have a fav for the cache and also in recognition of original CO.
Was a little concerned about the weather behaving itself while I did this loop, but had no problems at all - it was a wonderful walk with birds singing joyously and the wildflowers poking their noses out producing beautiful perfume.
The caches were very cleverly constructed and a joy to find - despite their size! (I normally object strongly to micros in the bush!) And I appreciated and empathised with the thoughts for each cache.
The last of the series was the only one that I had problems finding.
Thanks very much to trevkevred and now to monf for this most enjoyable walk and series of caches.

After an extra long day of work Daz decided to bag a cache on the way home as one was needed for day fifteen of the month long caching streak challenge. With the light quickly fading and the GPS struggling to settle down it came down to sheer determination. Luckily the cache was uncovered after some 5mins of searching all the wrong areas first. Love the 'container'; fantastic way to end the day. Streak still in tact. TFTC.
Nice hide and an easy find but beware of the ants, there is a big nest right near the cache!! TFTC Monf!!
Out caching in the area with two other teams AlliedOz and The Fitzy's with a few geo kids decided to tackle this series to help with the 31 in August TFTS!!!!

A nice easy find to begin the set. My wife found this one by herself. Her first find.
This series has been on my todo list since trevkevred had put it out. Little B and I enjoyed the walk through the peaceful bush, not a muggle in sight.
This was a quick find, nice container too.

After walking a small section of the Bibb track I stopped by on the way home to pick up these caches. I had a few young ones in tow and they enjoyed the walk and the fun of finding the caches. TFTC.
Wow I have been looking forward to today for 3 weeks. A big days caching with The Machman and SpatialRiQ
The Machman and Mrs Felix left home at about 6am in the dark to be joined later by RIQ. Well as we had taken a bit longer on the first caches of the morning we arranged to meet SpatialriQ here. hmmm well we were later and later than we thought and he was very nice about it too thankfully
So off we set on a circuit to find these caches. This was the first of an enjoyable quick run.

Planned a hills caching day with The Machman and FelixII a few weeks back, so we pooled the caches we wanted to target plus all our solved puzzles. Was a great day to be in the hills caching away from the city for a change.
Loved this little series. Nice bit of forest to wander around in. Quick find here at cache #1. TFTC.

FELIX and I had been planning a trip to Kalamunda Hills for about 2 years, but the seasons just passed by and
we have never quite made it.
Over this time the list of unfound Caches grew astronomically and we are now left with needing to spend a week there just to make a dent.....
Anyway today was the first day of our assault on the hills...
We started with a decent 3 hour walk around the northern part of the Banyowla Regional Park then headed over to this reserve to meet the "Spatial One" and complete this very well thought of circuit of caches.
Cheers for bringing us up here, a great series with a wonderful sentiment.

Beautiful bushland and nice track - enjoyed follow the track... the weather just perfect for a walk... Loved the story about your childhood... Signed the log at 1:15pm. Thanks trevkevred & edskjb.
We made this our first one and once we found it we knew it was going to be different great cache thanks for all the effort trevkevred much apprecialted by us all.
Made this my first. Not often you can still see your car when you are at the first cache in the bush.
After missing out on finding this one when it was first published I was pleased to be able to come back today to correct that. I found the cache immediately in the first place I looked, a spot that I covered thoroughly, as well as many more tricky spots last time.
Thanks for the cache and sharing your memories with us trevkevred!

Lots of family memories for you here Trevkevred, I'm starting the series here and will make my 200th find amongst them.
[:(!] Went for a morning caching run with the two grandsons from Owers Corner to do this series and fitted in an extra one along the way, parked the geoGrand Vitara as close as possible to GC44PCW (Old Mc Donald) and from there we walked the circuit, on arrival at GZ and with three pairs of eyes we had the cache in hand in a matter of minutes.
Something has been nibbling at this cache, I think to them it may look or taste like chocolate?

After meeting the CO yesterday we were inspired to do this thoroughly enjoyable series. The Squeaks with their eagle eyes (and greater flexibility) soon spotted this one. It looked a little pre-loved by Kev and Red!
I think my first pair of walking shoes may have gone walkabout again. Won't disable yet as they may still be there, will check today.
Aaaw, who killed the squeaky? The first think I did was test it out but sadly no noise. Thankfully I spotted the cache first and gave MDV directions on how to reach it from where he was standing. Camo was full of water so his hand got a nice wash. Thanks for the cache.
Parked car and walked to rest of series from here...KB spotted while I retrieved...thanks trevkevred
Came to do this series today, spent a few minutes looking for this before ringing the CO who was in the area and said she couldn't find it either. I spent a few more minutes, then moved on to meet the CO at the next cache. TFTH trevkevred. I mwill be back after you replace the cache.
I could have done with shoes for my knees, found after and extensive search.
Thanks for all the caches and a good walk.
I think I did them all back to front..oh well, got there in the end.

Temperature was cool enough to attempt the series. Found the easy way in and the obvious spot but no cache. After further examination further along I discovered a different sort of cache.
Thanks Trevkevred
Thanks Trevkevred
well i found it because of trevkevreds dog kevien was playing with it we think a kangaroo had it first lol but it was a great find cant wait for the rest to come out
Found at 1826 hrs with Gwiber but there was already a name on the log so not first to find at this one.
This cache was much more visible today than yesterday but still cannot work out how I missed it then.
Thanks trevkevred for the cache.

I originally was going to drive to this one after doing the others in the area but ended up walking to it as part of the circuit of the tracks.
I couldn't find the cache at the GZ I got, which was a large split log with lots of places to hide stuff.
I came back in the car after completing the walk and got the same GZ. Expanded my search area but came up with nothing.

I had pretty much the same experience as Chwiliwr, but I didn't know at the time that he didn't find it. I followed the trails to GZ and my GPS had me at a very large fallen log with a split in the middle, and a few rocks around.
I searched all around and inside the log, around the rocks, and also broadened my search to anything nearby, but didn't find the cache.
