Logs
It would be great if the cache, or a similar one, could be revived in this spot.
Logging in the hope that this is still acceptable.
No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future, just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it still meets the current
guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.
Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Please respond to this situation by 6th August to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.
As Diane spent a lot of her childhood living in Rye the missing information on the sign wasn't a huge problem as she knew most of the answers and once at wpt 1 we knew the answer to the last question. We then continued on to gz where we were quite happy that it was a cold wintery day as we could see how searching would be a lot harder in summer.
We found the cache after about a five minute search and although it was a nice looking container it certainly isn't suitable for the Victorian weather and the log book is almost pulp.
We managed to get our initials on to it and returned it to it's hide.
As the previous finder said this one is definitely in need of some TLC
The BushwalkingBandit was not the only cacher who could have been spotted doing laps of the toilet block, looking for a signboard of some kind - not to be found! One positive outcome was that we could cofirm the figures for DE. We had to rely on past history lessons and some geo-nouse to ascertain AB. Back along the road towards GZ, where we encountered a maze of spider webs and after widening our search located the cache. There is only one word to describe the contents - YUK.
NOTE TO CO: We are not sure this cache is quite the introductory multi experience, mentioned in the cache notes. The treasure is in need of some TLC as well.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to Calebhogan for the hunt.

This cache appears to be in need of owner attention. It needs to be temporarily disabled by the owner until they have an opportunity to check on the cache and take whatever action is necessary.

Find # 3024
The weekend has arrived and it was time to go and find a few caches with my caching mate, SedgwickDave. The weather looked like it would be good for a paddle, so we loaded the kayaks on the roof of the car too. We decided to head towards the Mornington Peninsula area.
We parked within 20m of the start point of this one but could not locate the first part of the needed info. We used some deductions and plotted two possible GZ's, discounted one straight away. A nice casual walk to GZ where we quickly located the cache. Loved the container, however the log book was soaked through and will need replacing. Pretty much unuseable.
Thanks to Calebhogan for the cache.
Out on a Saturday run with Ahomburg along parts of the Mornington peninsula today and a few caches were found.
After first arriving at GZ we looked for a plaque or info board to answer the questions, finding none we used logic and sense to determine GZ. After a short walk the cache was then quickly found. Nice walk thru to GZ this morning, very peaceful. The weather was rather nice but windy on the beach.

I was able to work out GZ at home before we left for the Point Nepean night caching trip so it made this a short multi for us tonight.
We headed straight for GZ on our way home and after a short search biggles1024 was able to make the find.
Thanks to Calebhogan for this cache and all the caching fun.

TFTC, Calebhogan.
TFTC, a nice easy multi and stroll to get this one. Thought our co-ords where off but soon had goods in hand.
Grabbed a few orphans around the peninsula on a Sunday afternoon.
Team Mornington grabbed this cache today: Biger12, Hazey1, MrMcGee and Saulman1010
Nice location, easy multi, thought we were off in the wrong area at for but a nice cache was easily found.
TFTC.
we crunched the numbers and headed to GZ where the Roostaman made the find of the unusual container.
As Roosta said, a bit of a different start to the multi, but in the end as success, TFTC.
We had a bit of a slow start at the first WP area, trying to gather the required info and numbers. We worked out some coords and agreed they were correct so it was off to GZ to find the cache. Our GPS's had us searching about the area and there were quite a number of places the cache could be but it was Roostaman who made the find. A most unusual cache container indeed. Thanks.
Left Skull & Crossbones
Thanks for the fun hide! I wrapped the log in a plastic bag to keep it dry for others.
We had a few less finds this week too with a few caches needing maintenance.
Another joyous trip full of fun and laughs, as well as some exciting climbs by Quasar.
A multi with a strange start, but all was good in the end. I spotted the different hide and we got into the log.
Put it all back togethere and then on the road again.
TNLNSL TFTC Calebhogan,
Roostaman.
Run Summary
----------------------
Roostaman, had travelled south from Wagga to got to Eric and Nat's engagement party on the weekend. He was keen to come out caching with the TDC, so we obliged. Armed with his famous chicken rolls for all, we travelled south down the peninsula collecting caches as we went. Not a great night for finds, with many missing, we still had heaps of fun and lots of laughs. Thanks to all the CO's for their caches.
G&MMelb tried hunting first without the GPS and so JMelb went back to the car to get better shoes and the GPS. She made sure the GPS was down to 5m accuracy before entering the treed area (gee it's a pretty walk along there) and then after a bit of a hunt GMelb located the unusual hide
TFTC and the fun calebhogan. Thanks TO for the extra hint
GJMMelb
Thanks calebhogan
[Purple] Great cache for a hot day [/Purple]
This cache popped up last night but was published far to late for me to run out the door and join the first to find hunters. Would have been nice to go and have a look for it this morning, as it was such a lovely start to the day but I had too much on work wise. At lunchtime I noticed it still hadn’t been logged but still couldn’t get away from work so I worked out the final GZ using the phone and some caching understandings then arranged to meet the girls in the team for a swim after work.
Shorty after arriving at GZ I looked at few likely locations before spotting this crafty little cache, signed the log and replaced it as found. Then it was straight off and into the water for me where the other team member joined me a short time later. Oh boy that was nice way to finish off a days work
Thx Calebhogan for the cache and an excuse for a swim not that I need one on such a hot day
[teal] Merci beaucoup
Cheers
