Found the track with no problems and made my way to GZ. Searched but no luck. Wandered in all directions too...now..how did I get in here...

Now I'm lost. Very interesting hide but no room to sign log so just added a date to one of the existing sign ins. TFTH
Seeing this was a DT combo we don't often find we headed over. It seemed easy enough on foot via the well formed track and then with about 120m to go it was a bush bash. We carefully picked our way to GZ which looked to be well searched. We looked at one item and put our hand on the camo straight away for a quick find. We found a small spot on the full log to sign and then re hid. TFTC. On the way back we saw a small snake (on the formed path)

Epic fail. Rolled my ankle whilst bush wacking our way to this and got stung by a wasp
Won't be revisiting this
AND DIDNT FIND CACHE!

Just wanted to add terrain and difficulty was rated appropriately! Was my fault I failed
Found with bananafrog. Thanks to the geokids! They found it in no time. Great cache. Thank you. Also saw a snake so be careful
This was a clever, well hidden cache. This took us a while to trek through the bush to stumble upon the location, but was still quite fun. The log book was full and wet. TFTC.
Wow, really had to go bush bashing to get to this one. Finally got to GZ and once there found the cache quite quickly. A bit disappointed to find the log book was full after such a long trek. Clever container though. tftc.
Was scanning the map and realised I hadn't logged my find from back around August. Was difficult to get in to find GZ, but was a good find from there. Thanks
We prepared for this one, I analysed a couple of small tracks in Google Earth and uploaded them into the handheld so we did not have to bush-bash at all.
Once we got to GZ I was lucky to find the tricky hide in the third place I looked. TFTH

Picked up a few prickles in my socks searching for this one. Spotted by my eagle eyed sister. TFTC
Had to do a bit of bush bashing to this one and ended up a bit prickled and battered, all for a good cause though as we soon had the cache in hand. The log is full and we had to write over another log but didn't have a replacement with us today! TFTC Starswampers!
This cache was on my shortlist for my next trip to Perth because it would help me fill in another empty space towards filling my Difficulty and Terrain grid. I parked the hire car near the trail head on Elvire Street, passing a number of people walking their dogs, before making my way down the right tracks to reach the published co-ordinates. Once at Ground Zero, it took me a few minutes of searching to uncover the sneaky cammo to make the find. In the process I uncovered a nasty creepy crawly that would have done some damage if I had my hands in the wrong place (photo of the interesting specimen attached). Signed Log at 12:01 PM, Took Nothing Left Nothing. Thanks For The Cache starswampers!
This one took us a while, we tried different trails until we found the right one with not much bush bashing required. Was a beautiful view from GZ
Last time we tried to find it we were in the right spot but just didn't see the cache, it has got to be one of the best caches we have found so far so well worth a favourite point.
Thanks for the cache, hope we can find some more caches of yours soon

I have been meaning to do the star swap stroll for ages and today seemed like a good day to walk out the hangover from last nights birthday activities.
Had a fairly successful day with the varying styles of caches in the area
Arrived a gz and thought where do I start, reverted to looking at posted photos, all that got me thinking was " how would I find that in here" but to my surprise looked down and there she was.

Up this way today with Chwiliwr and The Better Half. Once again, we found the difficult way in and the easier way back out. But we got our smileys, so all good. Thanks starswampers
Out with the Better Half and Mistraluna caching after the event.
Quick find here once we found our way into GZ.
Thanks starswampers for the cache.

Enjoying the ride through Star Swamp on an lovely autumn day. After riding our geobikes through the big paths, down to smaller paths, we continued on foot. GZ had us all over the place, with a lot of my not-favourite cache hosts, the grasstree! But I went further afield and was very happy, and relieved to make the find. A great cammo! TFTC starswampers!
Our first day out at Star Swamp, have been waiting for the snakes to go by by's and the weather to be a bit cooler, today was superb.
So glad we have Google Earth so we could get a closer look at some tracks around this little fella, we eventually found the right one and got close to GZ. Hunted for quite some time and even went back and re-read some posts looking for that strange word or phrase that might be a clue, nothing really jumped out. Was getting to the stage of giving up when I heard that joyous call from my geofriend. What a great hide and a very clever cache, worth a fav, thanks starswampers.

Found it after a long walk through the bush, apparently came from the wrong side as we found a path not to far from gz on the way out. still, might be worth wearing long pants for this one. nice cammo, thanks for the cache!
Spent another great day caching with JacobsCrew, in the northern suburbs of Perth.
Visited lots of parks & did some bush walks, where we found a good variety of caches
& some clever hides. This was a nifty hide, worth a favourite point from us.
Thanks for the cache, starswampers.

Here I am on another Monday adventure with The Drovers, It is the biggest caching day for me , a total of 81 caches for the day. It has been a great with fantastic company. I had a wonderful day in beaut weather conditions. This was very clever and we were very lucky to have Mr.Drover who found it quickly. ...TFTC FAv for me
Really enjoyed our walk through star swamp. Last one for the day and getting dark, but no luck today. Will be back another time.
I think we walked thu every prickle bush to find this one, only to find it close to a path on the other side! Gooooood one!!! TFTC
No bush bashing for us! We found the right path by checking on Google maps before leaving home. Found with in minutes of arriving at GZ. Good camo, deserving a favourite point from us. SL TFTC
Star Swamp was one of the areas we visited when we first started geocaching, and well worth a re-visit with our NZ guest in tow, now that this and other new-ish caches have appeared. We managed to get on the side track for this one without any problems - it was a bit wild for nano-Detour in the 3WD pram, but we all made it to the GZ intact. A couple of moments of head-scratching, then a surprisingly quick find by Mama Detour. Nice camo! - fave from us. TFTC!
Only one that I didn't manage to find around the swamp today. Despite finding an easy to follow path to GZ and standing on the spot that the existing photos were taken from....
TFTC. Found the track to the cache before doing this one via satelite so lucky enough not to get scratched.
Thought we'd found the correct path but couldn't get close enough and were running out of time. Try another day.
GSAGC #230. Clever camo but the difficulty rating is a tad overstated. But, really... a nano in a remote bushland setting? At least I managed to find the path in and out without ripping myself to shreds on the undergrowth. I've also learned the hard way that (with apologies to Euclid) the shortest distance between two geocaching points is very rarely a straight line TFTH.
Like Rouge, we too missed the path and took a 150mt trek through very dense prickle bushes!!! Was glad to find and then find the CORRECT path for a nicer stroll out to the next cache! TFTC
Have always loved these little tracks through this bush, no need to bush bash or get scratched up. Wonderful piece of work Star Swampers, keep that handiwork going.
Nicely constructed. Rode through the area but got terribly scratched by the bushes. A nano in the bush, brave move. Thanks for the cache.
While Mrs iluvtrekking and I walked 'the frauleine', the two geo-hubbies ventured up the track and made their way to gz without being attached by prickles or anything more nasty.
Found with richklink on an early morning raid. Very happy to have found the correct track in. A very clever hide thanx starswampers. A fav point from us.
Nice work on this one as it had me thinking for a good 15 minutes on where the dickens it could be. After getting filthy dirty around the blackboys and other charred trees, I found something of interest that turned out to be the cache. Thanks starswampers
On my way to GZ I missed the correct minor path to take, so I ended up having to go 150m directly through very dense, very very prickly bushes by the time I got to GZ I was well and truly over it, pulling prickles out of my legs, shorts, shirt, socks, everything, and hoping very much to find the right path for the way back.
At GZ I looked at a few different options, under some grass trees, and then took a minute out in the shade to regather my thoughts. On second approach I had the cache in hand almost immediately, and the lid of the camo fell off when I picked up the cache, and managed to lose the actual cache itself! uh-oh!!
So I searched the surrounding area until I finally spotted the cache itself, phew! I put everything back where I found it, but the lid seems quite unstable, and I'm not sure if this was the intended hide location, so a checkup might be needed.
After replacing the cache I headed out in the opposite direction to where I had come from, and found some evidence of a more well-trampled path, and I did managed to find the right path to take me back, so I didn't have to tackle the prickle bushes again.
Thanks for the cache starswampers!

Found Lost, nearly lost Lost as I opened camo. Seemed to trek through miles of bush to get there (5000 degrees today), but found a track almost immediately getting out. TFTC
After DNF Shark Snack... so take a walk along to the GZ - nice bushland - good track... finally spotted the camo - excellent job. Signed the log at 10am. Thanks starswampers.
Couldn't locate it after 5-10min of searching so phoned a friend. Quick find after that around 4-5m south of my GZ. Nice hide. TFTC.
Mrs Felix off on a caching morning with The Machman leaving home at 0545hrs.
This was the 2nd cache we tackled today but our first smiley.
Glad I was wearing my new boots to get in here, we were able to walk on paths till the last 25metres but.... it is snake territory regardless.
Anyway it didn't take too long to spot the clever camo but wasn't quite sure how to open it.

Managed to cycle in along the sand track to less than 100m and then really tested my bad ankle thru the bush.
At GZ appreciated the very accurate co-ords...made it a reasonably quick find even though the camo was excellent.
Thanks starswampers, clever cache

The Machman and Felix out for a mornings caching in Applecross,
but decided to stop off at this cache on route to the deep South !!
Found tracks through the bush, all the way to GZ, so very happy to have avoided a bush bash,
as I was certainly not dressed for one.
On arrival we were just looking at the potential search areas, when Mrs FELIX announced
she thought she had found it !!!!
A closer examination revealed the Cache. Well done Mrs FELIX..!!!
Very glad to avoid a long hunt !!!
Great little hide, always pleased for an excuse to come to Star Swamp !!!

Quick easy find once I had bush-bashed my way thru the scrub from the goat-track to GZ

I was heading home when this one popped up so I turned north and set offup the coast. I have walked most of these smaller tracks so I was quite happy wandering through here. I made a quick find once at GZ luckily. Much nicer than the mint tin in a tree variety. The log was empty so a FTF (my first for 2013). SL TFTC
