### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there Needle in a...,

It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue with the placement. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**

#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.

- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**

- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

Thanks for your cooperation,

Bunjil

Find # 9965

Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.

I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.

There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.

Found with catnap777 at 10:00am

So many times I have passed the Green's Lake turn off and yet I have never seen Green's Lake...... until today.
Cat and I headed off to check out some silo art this time past and because we had no real time frame pushing us around, we decided it was high time to right this wrong and check out the Little Green Men.
Thanks to some excellent off road driving by cat (to avoid some boggy wheel ruts) we got to the cache quickly enough found just a little off our trajection, but the container Seriously needs to be replaced. Time and the elements have done a real number on it. The log is still dry but bearly contained within the crumbling walls of its screw top home.
Sorry we did not have with us a replacement.

TFTC Needle in a... and Hayshack.
I am guessing the little green men are much larger green men now.

I don't know how many times my intrepid partner and I have driven past the entrance to Green Lake, but today we had the opportunity to call in and see it for the first time. Choosing the driest track proved a bit of a challenge but we made it right up to gz. The little Nissan and it's driver, who by the way has not much experience in muddy track conditions, proved themselves admirably. Was a gorgeous day to see the lake in all it's glory especially after a kind winter precipitation wise. Thank you for bringing us to this picturesque spot.

So close but so far. We got very close with the car, but the GPS wouldn't settle and after 10 mins of circling around the long grass in very snakey weather, we decided to call it a day, and try again next time. Thanks anyway.

Rex had his 1st visit to the vet's since he came into my life and as it was in Lancaster, I planned a day of caching to end up in Echuca. The plan worked well although the bit about being at Echuca by 6pm to allow me to get to Cheap as Chips did not work so well SurprisedSad There just happened to be 'just one more cache' on the way there Razz
Still Rex and I had fun and we even manage to be spotlighted by police when having our picnic tea in the park near Red Gum Archway about 10.30pm SurprisedWink
No DNFs and 8 Smile cache finds made for a good day out especially as 1 of those finds was a letterbox called Mail Run, which had eluded AnyMules and I a few weeks ago in the dark Red Face and which I managed to find tonight... all in the dark again, too! RazzWink

I finally managed to get into here and make the find on this cache that has been Twisted taunting Twisted me for over a year now! Smile
The Corolla made short work of the tracks and we parked a mere 50m from GZ Cool
Made the quick find and once the log was signed, I placed the container back where it started from [^]
I tried to keep going on the track in order to come out on the side road rather than the main road however I soon came to spot that was much more suited to Harry than this poor Corolla .... so a 3 point turn and it was back out the way we went in!

Found with Claybol on a very warm and windy day. I never knew this lake existed here and it is quite lovely with black swans and a pelican enjoying the serinity. We walked the last 400 metres but it is quite an easy walk. Not sure if this is a plum tree or a cherry tree however as there was no fruit on it and it looked like a plum tree to me. Thanks for placing this cache here though for it brought me to a lovely location. Happy to announce that the cache is in good order as was the log sheet..... This was my 817th find.

Find #1557 for me. Found with virbull at 12:40 pm. After finding the cache at Ayerson Reserve it was still overcast and not yet unbearably hot as the forecast suggested it would be, so we decided to travel a little further on for this one. Having scouted out this area on a previous trip I was expecting to walk about 750m from the road into Greens Lake as I didn't think the track in would be suitable for my 2WD. Today, however, the track was dry and seemed to be fine so I was able to drive as close as 300m before getting out to walk the rest of the way. I admit to being a little nervous about the drive in as I had to straddle over some fairly deep ruts but we got there. Once at GZ we made a quick find and all was in good condition. Thanks for bringing us to this nice location today "Needle in a... and Hayshack" and thanks for the cache!

A feeling of de ja vu here, although it was not quite so wet underfoot.
Here with Suscoe today, we were able to leave a very temporary log and remove a lot of rubbish.
Future seekers would really appreciate a spring clean and a new log for this one please.

16-Oct-17
Mrs. Suscoe headed out today with the good folks of the Phetlern team for a day's caching south of Echuca. Mr. S decided to have a day back at our accommodation to take things quietly.
It was a beaut Spring day with loads of sunshine, a gentle wind and some clouds from time to time.
It was a really good day with great company and lots of fun on the way around this area.
Beaut countryside with green paddocks and happy looking cows and sheep.

Thanks to Needle in a ...and Haystack for this cache.

Out on another adventurous family road trip to Mexico. Now for the long run home...

Geodad trusted the maps on his many GPS devices only to get to about 500m from the cache and have the track disappear. Looking at the satellite image of the area I'm glad he didn't try to go much further. Once we were on the right track we went wrong again but soon corrected ourselves. Unfortunately the cache was wet and the log book saturated - we couldn't make our mark in it.

Thanks for the cache Needle in a... and Hayshack.

One Guy, One Gal and a Telescope!!

A plan was hatched earlier in the week to head to Greens Lake at Corop to make use of free camping, a new pop up tent and the dark sky to be able to look at stars without the light pollution we get in Melbourne. Heading up through Kangaroo Ground and across to Heathcote we grabbed a few caches on the way before having a cracking dinner at the Colbinabbin Pub. After setting up camp (15 minutes) we kicked back until dark. We checked out Nebulas, Globuler Clusters, Constellations, Double Stars and Planets, the highlight being Saturn and its rings and Jupiter with four of its moons!! We headed home the next day via Rushworth then to Whroo where we completed the series of caches there then headed home.

We grabbed this after packing up camp, the GeoPrado had no probs getting us near gZ, short walk to make the find.

Thanks for the Cache!!!!

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.

Currently camped at Aysons Reserve we headed out today to explore the area and pick up a few caches along the way.

Today was day 339 of our Geostreak. Cool Thanks to the CO's for the variety of cache types and sizes today. A lovely area to visit.

Access to this cache is now much harder. The local water authority have erected multiple signs saying no vehicular access along all the tracks that take you near GZ. So we parked the car and Mr Felix walked in to GZ. He removed the old damaged cache and placed a new one in the same place with a new log too. TFTC Needle in a...

After a call to 'Cool Down at Greens Lake' we wondered about the 'Little Green Men'! Oh why not? So we unloaded the bikes and set off thru' the mud and the slush! Walking the last part across the grass we spotted the cache, high and dry!
Hopefully it was not the young intrepids who left all the rubbish around GZ - good site now for a CITO event! Satellites today had our GZ 10m north of where we found the cache.

Found on our day's journey across to Shepparton. in the company of the Crazy Creels and the Geogetters on our fortnightly Sisterhood caching trip. Like others we found the navigating in a bit tricky but eventually found our way along a very dry track. I don't think your container is going to last much longer - it will get brittle after a couple of hot days. Can see why you would want to camp here - it would be lots of fun.

The Wenchette had a calisthenics competition in Burwood so I had an opportunity to chase a few caches along the way

We attempted to find this cache some weeks back but our plans were scuttled by a couple of vehicle bogged on the track. Today the track was dry and we had no trouble etting to GZ. I suggest this cache may be best avoided during the hot weather as the grass is quite long and will be a haven for snakes once they wake from winter.

Thank you for the cache Needle in a....

Hi. It's me Angus - the geoWestie. We have had a long break from geocaching due to some issues in Shepparton but we are back on the road and back into it. I am so glad. Currently camping at Greens Lake. Weather is not the best but only a little rain. This cache, which we did yesterday, was a good walk from camp but no difficulty at all. There was one boggy spot that we all managed to jump over but it turns out we could have turned right before crossing it and we would have come to it sooner.

Followed the GPS which took us off the hwy too early. When this revealed no access, we backtracked to the hwy & down the correct road.
