Unfortunately I've decided to archive this cache.... Area is frequented by too many muggles and the cache has gone missing numerous times. Will be hiding another one soon somewhere else!

14-Oct-14
We think that we found this particular rock but there was no cache to find.
Maybe it need maintenance.

28-Sep-14
We found the cache but we think it was muggled or damaged by seas as the content was spread across the sands.

We placed the contents back and placed it under that rock as stated in the hint. It will need maintenance. No logs were found after a few minutes searching.

10-Mar-14
Picked up JacobsCrew and headed north, for a great fun day of caching.
After completing 3 series in the area, we headed into the suburbs
for a good variety of cache hides, which we enjoyed.
Many thanks for the hunt today, Kiewiet.

22-Feb-14
Made a relatively early start this morning, heading up to the northern suburbs for a caching foray. Lots of finds throughout the day, so lots of smileys too. This one was out in the open, so replaced it close to where we found it, but with a bit better camo. Thanks Kiewiet

07-Feb-14
We parked nearby and made our way down towards the coast line. We saw a muggle seated bird watching but realised GZ was over the head so continued on. Once at GZ something just did not look right and on removing the camo and a bit of sand made the find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC TN LN

Finally sorted all the issues out! Happy geocaching!

23-Jan-14
Im having loads of trouble with the coordinates! Will be up and going within a week. Sorry geocachers!

20-Jan-14
Coods led us all over the dunes still. 6 of us searched for over an hour. The photos indicate that you need to climb the dunes as do the coords. It was pretty confusing reading through all the logs. I think it all needs to be much clearer.

18-Jan-14
Moving coords again sorry

18-Jan-14
New location. Thought it was a bit exposed. Please replace as you found it Smile

Will enable this cache within the next week! Been away on holiday. Will update coordinates of new spot!

08-Oct-13
Too many people complained about location. Will move the coordinates as soon as I've finished my exams.

07-Oct-13
Followed the sandy trail to this one, but it is not a gazzetted trail and there is damage being done to the dunes. Maybe a rethink on the hide is warranted?
However the views up here are certainly 360 degrees and quite spectacular.
No sign of the GC.
Thanks for the cache Kiewiet.

28-Sep-13

31-Aug-13
This is a beautiful spot for a cache with a fantastic view. I can see why earlier cachers have questioned the location of this one but Mr JELSH and I took care to locate the GZ with minimal disturbance to the surrounding bushland. TFTC

i found this with out too much trouble but do qestion if it follows the Geocacahug rules 1.1, 1.2 & 1.5. Kiewiet I haver read your answer to earlier posts which also questiion its palcement. Yes it is accessible by not climbing a fence but it is a small are between two sturdy fences that are there to stop people climbing and damaging the dues. It is it not possible to reach this cache and not damage the dune. in fact a well defined path is being formed by Geocachers as they accces this one. No doubt over time this will add to erosion damage. see pictures.

I was plannig to do a TB swap but have only taken one and not left one as is the preferred option. Rules 1.1, 1.2 & 1.5 indicate you need to obtain permission from the landower to place the cache and not damage the environmet. If this has been done I am happy to place a TB there to replace the one I took.

I was running early for church this morning so I decided to pick up a few caches on the way, and this was the last of 7. I struggled a bit to find the right access point, but got there in the end, and it was a quick and easy find once at GZ, and nice views to boot.

Thanks for the cache Kiewiet!

[:(!] I went for a day of caching to do the Guess Who Series and a few extra caches as well, this was one of them, parked the geoGrand Vitara as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ I quickly had the cache in hand.

Found with the kids. Nice spot!! TFTC. Not sure if conservation area or not - council seem to be doing a lot of work on the fences around it, however we took a similar route to other cachers and were mindful of the surroundings.

The dune that the cache is place on is not part of the dune conservation area as it is not covered in netting and no signs are found around this specific dune. The surrounding dunes however are part of the conservation and we ask that you please keep off them.

25-Jan-13
Seventh cache for today.

Was a bit dubious about climbing the dune with the fence and signs but managed to get up it and find the cache at the top.

Thanks for the cache.

Mrs Felix was waiting at home impatiently for Mr Felix to arrive home from work. As we had prearranged a caching 'date' for after work today.

Well he finally arrived home after 5pm and the GPSr x 2 were updated before we set off.

This was our target as the cache was listed as big enough to drop some trackables in. Didn't realise though that it already had a heap.

So after following a dodgy trail to GZ it was time to swap the TB's over. There were quite a few people around with at least 6 teenagers down on the rockface enjoying the sunset.

Released my first TB!! Smile

21-Jan-13
Once again I needed a Cache for my Geo Calendar, ( January is a very bleak month in my caching history!!).
Decided to get up and early and head North and pick up these three newly published caches.

This is my third visit to Mindarie this week... no complaints as it's a great spot, with a wonderful walking trail.

On arrival I walked round in circles a little bemused, as it was evident that GZ was very well fenced off and there are signs clearly indicating that the surrounding Dunes are part of a coastal rehabilitation plan.

Not wanting to jump fences, I decided to head down to the water and sure enough there is access from the beach that takes you to GZ, that is reasonably non invasive, and no fence hurdling required.

Found a well stocked, good size cache and also some fantastic views form this point to both the South and North.

Cheers for the cache.

FTF 1150.

Well, did a 53km bike ride this morning followed by listening to Lance Armstrong on 'dope-gate' so I didn't notice this one get published until 1.5 hrs later… so I'm sat there trying to activate 5 travel bugs and there's the dilemma. Is it worth trying to get a FTF after 1.5 hrs on a gorgeous weekend day? So the bugs got abandoned and out the house I ran in my thongs.

Just let me say that this is not a good footwear selection for this cache. I didn't read the full description in my haste and thus was unsure which way to gain access to the GZ. neither my approach or escape routes were ideal with rocks, burning sand and scrub bushes to navigate.

Found the cache easily based on the published coordinates and only subsequently looked at the clue photos. I think they are unnecessary. Nice sized cache - shame my bugs weren't finished.

TFTC.
