No good! Found the hide and all the recovery components at the GZ but there is no cache or log. Therefore no sign, no find!
Thought it was okay based on logs but still needs maintenance. all pieces are there but needs repair still.
We hoped this would be up and running. Found with discojim, hope to make it official soon.
As with Vanessa&Aodh's log, we also had loaded it onto our GPS and hadn't seen that it was temporarily disabled. I found the cache at the bottom, under some leaf litter. So after signing the (very full) log, I put it back where I found it.
I'd love to see this one working again too and will come back for a look after it is up and running again. We hope that toxiemite & s-bomb's troubles are soon over.
Thanks very much, a really great cache and a Happy Christmas to you and your families.

Oops, sorry I didn't realise this was temporarily out of action. I'd loaded it onto my GPS as a pocket query and hadn't seen that it was offline. Anyway, I found the cache, so hope it's okay to log it. It's an ingenious idea and I found both parts of the mechanism. Unfortunately, I found the cache container about a metre away from where it's supposed to be hidden, and it seems to be missing a vital ingredient to make the mechanism work. So I didn't put it in what looks like the real GZ, but at the bottom, under some leaf litter. I'd love to see this one working again, and hope that toxiemite & s-bomb's troubles are soon over. Thanks very much, a really great cache.
Apologies for the long wait on getting this cache back in the game....
We've had a rotten 2014 with family health and have been unable to tend to this little beauty (despite the admin warnings).
THE GOOD NEWS is that we'll be back in action next weekend and fixing this cache will be the first point of order. Sorry to any irritation.
Happy Caching,
Toxie.

Well we did find this one , but log was soaked.
Interestingly enough dad and geohubby had it in their GPS but it did not show up on my iphone.
So we did sign the log and although it appears to be disabled we seem to have found it.

We have had serious illness in the family and have unintentionally neglected several caches. We will do our next to get them all back in working order as soon as possible. Thanks.
Thank you for all of the updates. We have a significant injury in our family and are unable to tend to maintenance on our caches at the moment. We will get to it as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.
Was looking forward to this awesome build but sadly disappointed.

Find #1563
Found 3:55:00 PM, during a lazy Sunday afternoon of caching.
Tried several methods of retrieving this cache with no success. Finally used some improvised tools and discovered why our previous attempts had failed, seems the magnet has become detached from the cache container and will need replacing.
Given the difficulty we had retrieving the cache we left it under some small branches behind the pole.
TNLN, thanks toxiemite & s-bomb.

Easy to spot and find but hard work and patience magnetising the cache up. Almost had it then the magnet broke off the cache. Devasted. Cache is unobtainable and will need maintenance. Still counting it as a 'find'. Clydekitty.
Suscoe's 21st find of 24 for this afternoon.
An interesting cache and we had to resort to bringing a tool from the car to add a bit of extra attraction for the task.
Finally accessed the cache and log.
Signed and returned.
This cache needs a bit of urgent attention as the thing necessary for the other thing is coming adrift.

What an excellent location and hide - shame we could not get the fish to bite today despite using three lures. Hope to be back in the area one day and hook it.

We had to come to Bayswater today to pick up some supplies and as the heat hadn't become to unbearable yet we decided to grab a few caches before heading off.
We pulled up near gz and talk the short walk and thought "oh well, that was easy" but it wasn't to be. Although we could see the cache we couldn't reach it, we then reread the cache page and it made a lot more sense. Diane spotted what we needed and after a little bit of a false star we were soon adding our name to the log.
Thanks guys, we love a cache that is slightly different and this one ticked all the boxes so a favourite point from us.

Found it but the lure was not letting us retrieve the Cache, and we were there for quite a while, maybe owner should check this Cache out may need a bit of adjustment.
Saying that this is a great Cache well done, I will be back to have another go.

#453 @ 1520. Gread hide. Found first part ok and then recognised the 2nd part location. Needed the help of a stick to get lure to the "fish". Favorite from me. TFTC

I was off work today with a sore back, but was out sort of in this direction for a chiro appointment, so decided to use this cache as my cache of the day. When I arrived at GZ, I assumed I had not read the instructions properly, but after a short search, I worked it all out and not long after that, I had the prize in hand. A well crafted hide.

It's really disappointing that people would intentionally tamper and damage a cache like this. It baffles the mind. We will return this afternoon to try and fix it. Please do not try to cheat this geocache. You will only spoil the fun for others.
Fixed as best we could for today. We may return to it for a proper overhaul. It's so disappointing that fellow geocachers would completely wreck a cache just because they weren't able to secure the container. There is a logical mechanism to this creation and working around the instructions lessens the fun for other people. Please treat this one with some respect. Thanks.
On the way to poker at bergersau's place and decided to grab this one. Once at GZ found the required bits but they proved to be ineffectual. Where there's a cache, there's a way and the cache was soon extracted and the log signed.

We had dropped MMelb off at an 18th birthday nearby so decided we would concentrate on caches in our 10km zone, this was next
At GZ we could see where others had retrieved the cache not in the way intended so a little maintenance may be required to get it back to how it was set up.

We were wandering up the street peering through the scrub until we spotted a likely looking candidate in a clearing. No-one around but a few workers grabbing a snack from the Tasty truck so we snuck in for an easy find. TFTC
A quick caching run found us in the area for my 250th find. Pulled up to GZ in the dark and searched for a way in through the bushes by torchlight. Found it and clambered through to find this surprising little clearance. Once in, made a quick find, signed log and returned then did the 250 find happy dance.
Can now order my 250 find coin woohoo!
Thanks for the hide!

Well done cache designers, you have been awarded Dinsdale Clans first Favorite point. In all the years of caching to come and all the favorites we will give out, this first point can be awarded only once and is the congratulatory equivalent of a FTF.

I found this cache today at 4:45pm as the 1st of 4 on the way home. Found the parts quick enough and knew what to do immediately. Found also the 2 speed bumps, the first of which was negotiated on the third try and the second was achieved on the second go. Certainly, the best of your caches to date. Thanks from D B-A.
Well, this was frustrating. I quickly found the requisite tool but struggled for some time to overcome a couple of obstructions before I had CIH. Notwithstanding my difficulties, this cache is very well implemented and great fun. I’m glad that GZ is sheltered from the road as I was there for a while.
Thanks toxiemite & s-bomb, it gets a favourite from me.

With GeoTeen home from school with a head cold, I thought I'd pick up a few caches close to home. This was the fourth of half a dozen I retrieved. Fantastic fun cache! A favourite for me
Sucking on this cache also put a bad taste in my mouth (figuratively speaking), I'm a Stepsil boy!
Had a little trouble fishing, had all the implements but struggled to bring the catch in. Eventually netted the catch and signed the log.

First in a nice clump of caches that encourage a good walk around Eastfield Park. The kindly provided tool was a little difficult to find, as it had been placed in with the cache, and was only spotted when I tried a method that had worked with a similar, but larger hide in Geelong. Once that tool was in hand, a modified plan of action brought the container into the daylight. Nicely played... I've have loved to have seen the original system.

Out on my first night cache run with TurnerFamilyFTG. This was a fun cache, lost one of the retrieval items in with the cache at one point but got it sorted out in the end. Very fun cache, never done one like this before. A favourite for me. TFTC.
Spiffy- and I headed out for a night cache. THis was the first and my favourite of the 12 we found. The cache could be seen and I thought I knew what I would need to retrieve it, but couldn't find it. Found it just laying on the ground. Fishing was still a little tricky as it stuck to the brackets, but perseverance paid off. Replaced the retrieval tool in what looked like a more appropriate spot and off the ground - still clear to be found by a cacher though. Great cache. Thanks Toxiemite & s-bomb.

A clever, clever cache. I found the cache easily enough, and tried retrieval for about 5 minutes, before I though there's something not quite right. Surely enough, I worked it out, then retrieved the cache quite easily!!!
Not only did I get the cache, but found a site, and a cache container to place once of my own in the same park!!!! A lucky afternoon.

Found it. The "lure" wasn't strong enough. Had to go via the other entry (below). Have left stronger lure material for cache owner to make lure out of.
It's up to the cache owner if they want to use this special strong lure material, just trying to help, as this is a brilliant idea for a hide.

Some people must be using the wrong lure. As previous notes have said, there is a SUPER STRONG lure hidden nearby. I'm talking MEGA STRONG!!! Using this lure will guarantee you a grab. By accessing the cache from below you are compromising the longevity of this hide. Looks like I will have to return again to secure it even more. Grumble!
A little patience and I hooked the fish - more like catching a yabbie. Thanks toxiemite & s-bomb.
After 5 minutes trying with the mechanism I gave up and climbed through the open window that was well used by previous visitors. Great idea wish it had worked properly.

I headed out tonight for a Monday night cache run down the Mornington Peninsula with TDC mates Trailrunning, Rebel Acts and Blacklegend. Roostaman, from Wagga, had travelled down for Rebel’s event on the weekend and joined in for the nights caching. We started with a few caches up north in the Rebel’s territory before making our way down to the Peninsula all the way to Portsea. Once again the weather was perfect and quite mild and we all had a great time.
When we arrived here I thought the place looked familiar. I'd been here not a couple of days before but had forgotten to add the find into Geosphere. Oh well, found again and logging for tonight instead. A nice idea for the cache and thanks guys.

Another Demolition Crew run, but this time with The Roostaman on board all the way from Wagga..... Great to have him along, as he has cached with us before, and we all had a ball. Tonight's run took us down the peninsula, for a bit of a clean up run. Top night as always, and Roosta, the chicken rolls were great as well.... Thanks to all the CO's for their cache placements.

Found during another great run south with the TDC members TrailRunning, Quasar3671, Blacklegend & Rebel Acts. I was in the area for a few days once again and asked a couple of the TDC nicely if I could join them on this weeks adventure. With not many meal stops along the route I was glad I took along a few extra chicken rolls for nourishment, At least it wasn't wild, wet & windy all night like previous trips.
We had a few less finds this week too with a few caches needing maintenance.
Another joyous trip full of fun and laughs, as well as some exciting climbs by Quasar.
A surprisingly quick find then on the road again.

Roostaman, had travelled south from Wagga to got to Eric and Nat's engagement party on the weekend. He was keen to come out caching with the TDC, so we obliged. Armed with his famous chicken rolls for all, we travelled south down the peninsula collecting caches as we went. Not a great night for finds, with many missing, we still had heaps of fun and lots of laughs. Thanks to all the CO's for their caches.

Ha ha, very creative. I saw the 2nd part first and I wondered if it was part of thd cache, but it was only when I found the lure I reakised I was right . BTW the kure doesnt seem to be overly "attractive" at the moment, great hide though!
Fabulous cache concept. Easy find and fun retrieval. Thanks for putting in the effort and making a cache with a difference. The geo kids had heaps of fun. TFTC and a fav point from me.
Found it today, and the equipment. Was a bit diddly and took a couple of goes but success at last. Tftc, enjoyed this one.
Just checked and the lure is still there... The mechanics of it haven't held up but it is still usable and serves its purpose.
Found today - happy Australia day.
Geo husband wanted to go fishing this weekend, but our plans got thwarted. Having found this one, perhaps he's a bit happier
Your lure might need to be upgraded a bit, found it a bit of a juggle to attract the fish.

WE had to drop One of the kids of at work for an 11:00 Pm shift so we decided to go do this cache, once we found the way in we were soon at the cache, we looked around for the other part but failed to find it, not saying its gone, but we just did not find it, not to worry when you have been playing the game as long as I have you carry a little bag of tricks, woon had the cache in hand, I would have loved to have seen the other part, may go back in day light and try and see what it was. Great effort on this one guys and I am giving it a favorite for effort. As we were leaving we met luke 1987 and had a chat with them. Love to see you guys at our event.
I noticed this one published the comments about it being good.. Grabbed on my way home and made the find quick enough.. the second part was found almost as quick.. however the grab took some time and patience.. Thanks Toxiemite and S- bomb for the cache and fishing adventure.. cache signed and returns made..
Found this one tonight. I suddenly realised that I needed a cache for today to complete my Project 366 cache and this one was the closest traditionals to home. Great cache. I found part of the cache almost immediately. Now to find the other part - looking, looking,.......ah there it is. Now to retrieve the cache and sign log. Great cache design and I will definitely give this one a favourite point.

Found @ 23:35 in the company of emeraldflame. We spotted the main part from well back, but the lure was another story. We were close to calling it quits when emeraldflame finally found it. It took a while to get the line extracted, and a few attempts before the prize was finally ours.
