After a number of FTF on this side of Canberra, I decided to get some more of the Greenway caches in the area. I had my gators on so a relaxed and enjoyable walk in nature followed. Long overdue I might add it was a lovely walk of 4.5 km all up finding five caches. Quick find, a bit daunting to put the hand in that deep, all in good order. Thank you Tankengine for putting the cache out, maintaining it and contributing to this great hobby we have. Happy trails, Flintstone's
Thanks for the cache Tank Engine. My arm was only just long enough to reach.Cache is in good condition.
A quick find on our way to Lake George. The cache is in excellent condition. Enjoyable stroll along the Greenways. TFTC
A straightforward find here today while exploring the Bywong area with two previous finders. Cache and log in excellent condition. Thanks, Tankengine!
Found It!
You wouldn't believe it out here, but my searching was interrupted by a cyclist going past. After he had moved on (along with about 30 kangaroos he'd woken up), I soon found the cache!

Out for a walk on the Greenway and very bravely put my arm in to retrieve the cache. All is in good order - TNLNSL TFTC.
A very quick find and sign as we discover the roads and trails of Bywong, Womboin and Bungendore today. TFTC
So many wildflowers along here, among them good specimens of fringed lilies , Blue Devils (ouch), bright yellow everlastings, Proliferous Pinks, trigger plants, Wahlenbergias, two beautiful purple Finger flowers and heaps of yellow daisies of different species. Would you believe just as I was signing the log with the container at my feet, a lady muggle appeared out of nowhere and was not inclined to reply to my cheery greeting or acknowledge me in any way. Just as well I hadn't been bitten by a snake or mauled by a stray moose as I don't think this was any Good Samaritan! And a Merry Christmas to you to!! Thanks for placing this cache in such a nice part of the world.
Nice area to walk through on a very cold winters morning. Reach and reach some more, my finger tips eventually found this , thank you.
After a day working at home (workplace thinning) I drove out here after I finished to find the remaining Bywong caches that I haven't found yet. A nice quick find after a nice stroll along the greenway. Thanks TE.
A bewt walk through here today with plenty of Black Cockatoos around
Thanks Tankengine for the cache

Found on a nice walk with Bonfire7. Beautiful day out with lots of wild animals showing off. TFTC
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Found but could not reach. I am above average in height for a female but arms still not long enough. Please put it a bit closer to the top?
Good afternoon's drive for a walk in Womboin.
Quick and easy find in the lovely area. TFTC Tankengine.

Went for a drive, ended up here. Pretty sure I went the wrong way to get here, oops. TNLNSL TFTC
A Tankengine cache thrown into the mix of the series of caches by mr_roo out here, and this one was the longest walk out of them all! I decided to come from the south after picking up the nearby ammo can cache. Another quick find and this time with very accurate coordinates which was nice to see
Thanks Tankengine for bringing people out to the middle of this track!

It started to rain as we were doing this one but we just soldered on, curious kangaroos spotted and butterflies along the way. Before too long arriving at GZ and a deep reach rewarded us with a find. TFTC
With Trodectus and Decrypter, a pleasant walk along the greenway. We found the nearby cache and then continued our walk to this one, which hasn't been found since May 2016, according to the log here, but the cache log was signed by 'The Bradleys' on 23/8/16. I wonder if they are geocachers, or muggles who stumbled upon it? Good coordinates. I left it to those with longer arms to extract this cache . TFTC Tankengine.
Out with Goldenwattle and Decrypter to find some caches in the Bywong/Wamboin area.
We continued along the greenway from a nearby cache and once at GZ it was a short search before one of us reached in and had CIH. We are not certain that their eyes were closed, however. This was an interesting walk, we saw lots of kangaroos and farm animals. I wouldn't have known about these greenways if it wasn't for geocaching. We walked back to the car and then off to Bungendore for lunch. TFTC.

After lunch with friends nearby, it was time to find the remaining Bywong Greenways caches. After wandering up Mill Post Hill, I headed over to this greenway. With the help of the hint, I soon had the cache in hand. TFTC.

After a few caches along the Lake Road and Bungendore I came over to Wamboin / Bywong to check out some of the Greenways. TFTC.
#4290 - 15:45; I was out this way a couple of weeks ago, but ran out of time to collect all of the caches in this area. With a bit of time this afternoon, I headed back out and this one was the second of three still on the 'to do' list. I had climbed the hill across the road from the entry to the greenway, so left the geomobile where it was and headed along the path to this cache. Once at GZ, it was a quick find, although I did do some checking before plunging my arm into the hide. TFTC Tankengine
A reasonable walk from my last find, but worth it for the nice trip through the greenway. Nice to see the different areas - pines, scrub, grassy fields etc. I wondered why the hint said "close your eyes", but when the cache was retrieved with a huge huntsman attached I understood!
Thanks for the cache and the nice walk.

A pleasant and mainly dry underfoot early morning stroll for a quick find. TFTC Tankengine

Another beautiful still winter's day. I decided to head out to Bungendore via Bywong/Wamboin. I wandered up here from "Bushy Wamboin" along the "greenway" which was very pleasant. A quick find in the end.

Thanks for the cache Tankengine
Plans were made with the FurfacesLL ladies to finish off the Bywong caches we both had remaining. We headed out and the sun was shining and sky was clear. We determined the most appropriate entry and off we went on foot. Didnt take us too long to pick up the last 6 caches we had out here. We did notice a couple of them were out a little in coordinates however not enough to cause finding issues.
Thanks Tankengine for placing these caches, lovely area especially on a day like today. and thanks to FFLL ladies for another nice caching day out

The sun was out and so the geomission planned for the day with Rapidlywild was going ahead. Before we accomplished the planned mission we decided to clear this area off first as it seemed we had the same ones to collect from these trails. So we picked a plan of attack and parked alongside the greenway and headed out on the path. Arrived at GZ and made a quick find. Off to the next one.
TFTC Tankengine and for placing this cache in this lovely area, yep no traffic!

The sunny day was too good to waste so I decided a countryside geomission was in order
After making the find on another along the track, I was off to make the find on this one. Nice, easy find at GZ of the trademark container
Thanks for the hide, Tankengine

A continuation of the journey in the greenway. Lived and visited Wamboin/Bywong for over 14 years and never been down these tracks. Thanks Geocaching for the new experiences
Somehow we ended up on the good old Greenway this afternoon and this seemed like the perfect walk to end the weekend on. We found the way in OK and it wasn't long before we made it to the "bypass". We stopped to check out some giant pigs in the nearby farm and everything was looking very green after all the rain we have been getting. Mr Stormcatcher made the final reach and luckily pulled up a cache !
Made it back out to the car with plenty of daylight remaining to be greeted by a family of roos enjoying the yummy grass...yep it was definitely dinner time. Thanks Tankengine

Went for a nice stroll with the geodaughter and a friend who I've roped into caching - I think I can get her hooked! I've put her name down as RenRoc. Nice easy find...nice walk...TFTC!
8397 + 990 = 9387. Found after running an errand out to Bungendore.
After a DNF up the track I was happy to get here (in the by this stage pouring rain) and make a quick find. Had my torch so no probs reaching in "there" ! I quite enjoy wandering around these Greenways out here !
Thanks Tankengine !

1007: Took a while to find access to this one. Once I did, I was on the right track for more. TFTC Tankengine.
A lovely evening walk with Syridian. Thanks very much for the great experience of discovering this walk. TNLS
I enjoyed the short hike along this trail. Found on a great caching day out with Mr Roo.
Out here today with Captain tomato. I have been out here before walking these green ways. Found this cache quickly. The trees made it alot cooler for us and was a pleasant walk TFTC
I'm sorry for the late log I have forgotten to log loads of caches But! With the help of Noikmeister I got all the logs that I need!
Been a while since I was out here and since I was helping out with a tracking trial today, after my official duties were done I though DogBoyOz and I could clean out the area. By the time we got to this one DBO was a bit tired from the early start and since this was going to be a 3km walk I left him in the car and went solo. This was pretty easy to find, although I wasn't too keen to stick my hand down there.
After finding the cache up the track, I continued down and along to this one. Once at GZ, a bit of look and the cache was sort of spotted. Nothing esle for it, so in I went and managed to came up trumps. Log signed, cache replaced....and it was back the way I came and down the car.
Been here before and thanks for the cache Tankengine.....

I was a bit surprised that more caches have been put out here, but revisiting some of these trails is not problems. A nice walk behind the properties amongst the trees in the light drizzle. Thanks.

1961. After camping at the Bungendore showground for the night, it was time to head to work. Yes it was about midday! Mmm, Macs Reef Road is closed, but wait, I could make a detour past a couple of caches out this way.
After a very pleasant walk, with kangaroos going every which way, I arrived at GZ and soon discovered the hide. It was then another short stroll off the the other one.
Thanks TE for the cache and the pleasant little walk.

Found on a caching day in the country. A lovely little greenway walk on a drizzly day, with a nice easy cache. Another nice little spot to visit. TNLN. TFTC Tankengine!
Hmmmm, certainly no cars, and haven't been any here for a longggggggggg time. No road either. But did find a cache - in there. Entered the Greenway via my usual entrance, Thanks TE.
Yay! Our first local FTF! Thought we'd miss out as it popped up when we were shopping. A quick detour to drop off frozens and we bolted out again. Lovely spot. Thanks Tankengine.
