Through in Glasgow to see Wicked in the King's Theatre so as we had plenty of spare time during the day there really was only 1 thing we could do and that was grab some caches.
Cache was quickly found but the log I'm afraid was soaking wet as the container was full of water, emptied it out and squeezed as much of the water out the log just enough to be able to sign initials but it'll need completely changed before it turns to pulp.

Photo of qualification attached.

8203 + 981 = 9184. Found with ACBC66 and AwesomeL during our European holiday…

In Glasgow for a few days and this was our fourth cache find. Only I qualify for this Challenge cache - as at today my current streak is 167 days - see Screen Shot.

The actual cache was wet and log soaked. Photo attached as proof of find.

Thanks again Team R&R ! A Favourite Point from Me !

Cheers from Australia….

Nightmare! I only get up to Scotland once a year, and this isn't quite on the route. However, the Erskine Bridge was slow due to roadworks, so I persuaded the family that the A82 was a sensible alternative... Thought that we should be able to pick our way through the roads just by following the GPS; big mistake! Got to within 14m, but unfortunately we'd been lured onto the slip road heading east by then, so I had to cut my losses...

Never mind; I thought that I'd earnt this one, as today is my 838th consecutive day of caching. Funny old thing caching; someone who hasn't actually satisfied the requirements gets to log a find (there is a difference between logging a cache as having been found on a date and actually having found it on that date...), yet I am thwarted! I'll be back, although I doubt that I'll be on 1,000+ days by then...

Signed this log in Jan, but since it was so long agao and was waiting for Quingdao to qualify, we decided to have a quick stop here, before going for some lunch. My stats are in the image.

Really pleased to log this milestone. Logged my 1st geocache on 6th of November 2013. This is my 442 cache. My longest continuous streak is 130 days from 22/11/13 till today. Thanks for the Cache! Now for celebratory lunch with TDFThom1975!

Found with Niri. We did the 31 days of August and then decided to keep going to do this cache. It is seriously hard work doing one everyday whatever the weather and we certainly did some in awful weather. Luckily other cachers in the Stirling area were helping putting out caches so we managed to do a lot of local caches in the evening after work. Great fun doing this. My streak ended after 104 days. You can check my profile which has my Project GC stats on it including my longest streak.

Found with Landsbanki. We started the 31 days in August last year, and I ended up completing 111 days. Well, it seemed like a nice number. I'd been putting off coming to Glasgow to sign the log as I'm not keen on urban caching. Big cities, industrial estates, vandalism, litter. Yeah, not really my kind of caching. But the journey is most of the fun as they say, and it certainly was.

Hope to be here on Thursday - just finished a 100-day streak this afternoon. Never again (without emigrating!)

231 caches
142 traditionals; 47 earthcaches; 20 puzzles; 11 multis; 4 events; 3 virtuals, 3 letterboxes and 1 webcam
many, many "I must find that cache one of these days...."
10 holes in my Jasmer grid filled (complete back to Nov '03; only 3 missing back to Nov '01)
5 holes in my (now completed) alphanumeric grid
4 countries - 2 in Luxembourg, 2 in the Netherlands, 22 in Germany, rest in UK - Shetland to Yorkshire
3 FTF's - 2 ECs and a puzzle
1 EC resuscitation

[Yaaaaayyyyyyy! Found it Smile See log for 31/10 for the last attempt - this time I had a meeting over at Anderston and came back via various challenge caches. No encounters with cobblestones this time, but my phone batteries were dying as I DNF'd the last challenge cache, so I came straight here as this was the one I REALLY wanted to find. Clear hint, straightforward find. Batteries packed in straight afterwards so had to navigate back to Queen Street station the old-fashioned way! No further caching either - not impressed to get home and realise I'd walked past two I'd not found yet - oh well, nine was a good haul for the day Smile ]

Finally found time to log after the #31days in August got us started for this challenge!

06-Nov-13
We found the cache & signed the log when we were in Glasgow a few weeks ago for the Peter Gabriel concert. Parked in the nearby industrial estate and after a bit of a search (GPS batteries ran out near GZ) we found it.
We had started our streak, not intending to do100 days, when we were on holiday on 30th July this year, realised a couple of weeks later we were well on our way to 31 days in August, & having completed that thought we might as well go for the 100 days. It's had it's challenges, with dark evenings, pouring rain as well as beautiful sunny days, we've cached through England, Scotland & Wales & today was our 100th day!

Would we do it again? Maybe, but if we planned to we'd start earlier in the summer so that we didn't have as many dark wintery evenings to cope with. The good thing about it is that it got nus out every day doing something we enjoy, and made us take a break if only for a few minutes sometimes, from work, & life.

& tomorrow we will gain another smiley as we are planning on going to an event

Thanks for the challenge.

DISASTER!!!! Planned to come and collect this one, and a number of other challenge caches. Finished teaching in good time, headed for first cache.... And fell over some bizarre raised cobbles beside some flats. Went my length, fortunately not breaking my iPhone or my glasses. MASSIVE bump on my left eyebrow, hands grazed, generally shaken up. Found my way back to Queen St station for Boots who confirmed the large bump and gave me a cold towel and I bought some ibuprofen. Now on train back to Edinburgh...

I'll be back!!!

Easy find, log a bit damp, surprised to see GerryU2's name in the log - I just can't get away from him lol

Screenshot of stats to follow....

Currently just over 265 days streaking, been tough I can tell you and can't see how anyone carries on to 1000 days as I've seen on some peoples stats they must live in a caching camper van!

Lots of nibbly beasties about today. Log signed, just need to complete the task.

Finally remembered to log this cache. I think 169 days should fulfil the requirements! Time for a rest I think.

I decided once I had signed the log that I would try it - my wife is barely speaking to me, I've nearly bankrupted us on petrol, and it turned geocaching into a chore - but at last I can say FOUND IT!!!

Who knows, I may be able to complete this when my kids grow up...

When I signed the log 97 days (May 4th) ago I had a "streak" of 3 days going, so I though it would take some time. Then I thought, "I can do it". Like some previous logs, it has taken the fun out of geocaching, some days I had to go and find just the one cache, in case I ended up with no suitable unfounds within cycling distance of home. In some cases I made sure to look just for one cache in a series, and maybe went back the next day for another one -- and as a result there are a few series of caches where I found a few but left the most for another day... and I haven't gone back yet.

Will I continue the streak now that I somehow got to 100? Maybe. I'll keep going to the end of August to get all these souvenirs, after that I suspect that'll be it.

Original note dated 4/5/13 said: "Signed the log but it'll take at least 100 days to log it as found..." Now editing to change it to "found". Evidence to be found in my profile: "Longest Streak - 100 consecutive days with finds from 02/05/2013 to 09/08/2013". And of course I've logged other finds today so the 100 days were done without including this one.

Consecutive Days Caching was the bane of my life.... I started aiming to complete the calendar in one foul swoop, but couldn't stop.... and carried on and on and on...

Eventually I saw sense and cracked, 555 days after I started (& at the time, the UK's 13th longest run)

Never, ever, again..... it really took the fun out of caching for me, but I am very proud to have achieved this despite inclement weather, sickness, relationship breakdowns and all sorts of other stuff along the way

For the record, my run started on 11/08/11 and finished on 15/02/13 - 555 days in total

This was a nice easy find and a rare treat to pick up an unknown for relatively little effort (555 days CDC was little effort! Wink)

Great idea for a challenge, but I really wouldn't recommend anyone goes for much longer than 100 days... It becomes a chore!!!

Quite difficult to find a walking route to this one from the city centre having to navigate the busy roads. Then spotted the correct wee path to GZ after going up the wrong street.

I am currently on a streak of 137 days as I am trying to go for a 365 day streak challenge that is up north. It's not the easiest to do this streaking and you need to figure out a new way of caching instead of going for everyone you see. Then you need to keep some local ones in reserve just in case something doesn't go according to plan. What a tough life us cachers have.

Time for a stroll along the canal now. Cheers FTC.

Stats will,be uploaded once I get back home.
