cache missing and has been replaced with something (fingers crossed) less likely to be grabbed or wet
While staying in Sarina the plan today was to visit Finch Hatton Gorge and other areas of Eungella National Park. (We were very surprised when told how to correctly pronounce Eungella....definitely didn't have that right)
Unfrtunately I had a fall this morning, so with quite a bit of bruising and a very swollen ankle that put paid to our plans to do a couple of the lovely hikes in the gorge
However we did manage to travel 250km and find a few easy hides
Geohubby very kindly found many of the hides while I took my time following him slowly and mostly met him on the way back
Took us a few minutes to find this one....don't know why as we had already looked there...duh!!
Thanks for the hide SeekerVolls[^]

TFTC! Took a bit of looking and visited the green tree frog in the men's urinal.
We were out and about on a drive from our campsite at Gargett and picked up this one while sussing the area out as a possible place to stay sometime in the future. TFTC
On the way from Airlie Beach to Stoney Creek in Eton we stopped several times to stretch the legs and pick up a cache. Al the owners thanks for making this possible! We saw a couple of nice places we wouldn't have seen without geocaching.

After visiting Eton and North Eton we headed onto the Dam. Geez it was peaceful and nice to just sit and enjoy the view and the peace. Found the cache with ease, everything intact. Signed log and replaced where we found it. TFTC!
Found after some difficulty - looks like it was found by muggles first! Found opened cache nearby and thankfully kids found the paper. We put it back together and hidden where we thought it was meant to be.
Found it on our 2nd attempt to many muggles around on our 1st visit well hidden nice camo paint on cache.
Found it. This was the first cache for a few in our group. Too high for the littlies though.
An awesome day jet skiing with my friends; the weather was fantastic and the water refreshing. (Spent a bit of time in the water but that's part of it right?). Found this before heading home. It was well camouflaged and took a bit of spotting, even with the hint. A good hide though. TFTC
I was out tubing on the boat with some of the youth and discovered there was one 20m away, Annerie and I went and got it
Our 3rd DNF today.
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 10:23:00 AM, but with all the mugles around we couldn't locate your cache, so a DNF from us - - - not stating it's not there... just that we couldn't spot it.
PS: This is a really great location, and thanks for bringing us here, but we think that this is a really bad spot to hide a cache. With acres and acres of parkland surrounding this location, a larger hide in a less public area would have been much nicer.

A days caching along the Pioneer valley was in order. We started with a warm winters day and sunshine at Kinchant dam and ended with rain and 12 degrees on Dalrymple heights. This one took a while as the camo blended well with the local folliage.

Not such a long drive from last nights camp to another nice camping spot and found the cache nearby.

long drive made longer as we went from last cache in N Eton to Marian and then Mirani and approached from that end. I found the cache with a GAFF5 but it was where Rainforest Cookie was and had looked , she needs glasses.

from N Eton we traveled into Marian to get fuel and then to Mirani to check our cache there.
now back on the cache trail we found this one as a GAFF5 but its still there but not really attached anymore. should be right for a while its sitting with the sticks up high.
talk later

There were muggles close by, but we made up a story about looking for a lizard with the little ones, they never looked twice at us after that, which was lucky cos it was well hidden.
Came out to check on the cache and it was dry and good. Replaced cache container anyway. No pen and hopefully a bit more watertight.
Can't get up there till after school finishes at the moment so we'll disable it. Thought we had fixed the weatherproofing but looks like we need a rethink.
TFTC Very wet. Couldn't write. Needs replacing. Found with tiamanda9966. Great views pranced across picnic area with kids. Camped at Kinchant waters. Lovely area.
Long overdue for maintenance. Sorry cachers, I've been a bit busy with my Mum duties and hadn't got up the valley in a while. A new fresh log and bag. Hopefully it'll last a big longer.
last day of caching month
so out for a drive today, to grab some caches and do some maintenance
not so long drive - I was out an about anyway
yeah OK - it was a fast grab
log a little damp [?] - not sure how
but managed to leave my mark
repack it - and replaced with a new orientation
there's been a few attempts at placing caches out here over the years
hopefully this one hangs around for awhile

This was not such a long drive this morning
It was a lovely, scenic drive [^]
And the only muggles were the ducks [:o)]
The cache was not such a fast grab this morning
It was a puzzling little blighter to find.
Either I was misreading the clue, or it has changed since I last looked
I finally looked in the logical place and spied the cache straight away
The car heater did a good job of drying out the cache page a bit, but the paper is a bit tattered.
TFTC and detour.

Very easy find and the area was muggle free. Done on a quick trip to town so didn't have Cache supplies with us to replace log. Was too wet to sign.
TFTC as per previous logs the log is very wet left it out to dry a bit but needs replacing.
the log is extremely wet, i didnt have a new bag which was holding water iv turned the bag inside out ...a few more people open the paper log and i dont think it will last ....TNLN-SL
