Making our way back to Rangiora for lunch. Stopped here and found the cache but the log is paper mache. Have put a new replacement write in the rain paper log inside plastic bag, and left the wet log in container for CO. Thanks for this cache warfi.
Had fallen down hole. Log wet so couldn't sign. Put back where it was found.
Out geocacheing with wifey swtgeo. Cache seems to have fallen down a hole do couldn't get it out to sign log. Tyftc
I’m in Christchurch for another visit for 4 days. On my own this time. Hoping to pick up many puzzle finals today. I have hired a nice little car, very economical and quite sporty too. It was very clean when I picked it up yesterday but with all the back roads it will get very dirty! Thank you warfi for the cache.
Found it after a while of look was a bit hard to get out so need stick or small hands, great hide.
Out and about with Arandee. Have looked here twice before with no success but R found it in exactly the place I had just checked! Duh! Thanks, warfi. Good hiding spot!

Real pleased to find this one with Jude_e who had missed it a couple of times. Pretty dark spot though, tftc
Felt a bit "odd" fossicking around GZ. Luckily traffic was going so fast they probably didn't even register I was there. TFTC
Macpacmum and Joojoo57 were out doing the Horses today and tried to add in a few traditionals. This one however eluded us even with three sets of eyes looking.
It's some time since we had a caching foray in this area so with several puzzles solved we set forth to enjoy whatever the day would bring. I suspect a booboo in that I have dated most logs as the 9th rather than 7th, sorry.
It didn't take too long to find this after looking in the more obvious places first.
Thank you warfi.

Thank you warfi.
With the forecast much better East than West we thought a day on the other side was a good idea. We have plenty of solved puzzles as well as green to be turned in to yellow for those occasions. We were heading the wrong way but traffic was light. Thank you warfi
Second time round lucky. Very pleased.
Took me a while to figure it all out.was ready to demolish whole sign.
Thanks

Something has obviously changed in the last few days - the log is sodden; I initially found a (dry) piece of paper by the stones, with logs to 9/2016, before I found the cache itself.
I’ll dry the logbook & return it to the C.O, but in the meantime have placed a temporary log in a plastic bag .

Came down this way from the North for the Oamaru Geofest, and decided to add a few more days to the weekend trip and turn it into a bit of a Mega mission, starting 5pm on Wednesday 18th and finishing 3pm Monday 23rd! Teaming up with Cats&Dragons for the first 24 hours then with Iammrwalker joining the team for the remainder.
Just a few of the stats for the trip were:
- 700 caches found, including 270+ puzzles (thanks to the Christchurch Geoart)
- 3300 km's driven, using over 500L of fuel $$$
- Just over 20 hours of sleep (about 4 per day on average), and about 100 hours of caching time.
Certainly a Mega Trip!
Day 1: The focus for this evening was on the Horses 101 Geoart plus a few extras which were nearby. This was a great warm up for the trip with a few tricky finds which took a bit of searching to find. It was great turning these puzzles into smiles after the many hours spent solving them all. A fairly successful run through the series with only a handful of DNF's along the way.
A big thanks to the CO's for the hides and especially the CO for the Geoart as I can only image the effort involved for setting these up. Sorry about the cut and past logs, but that seems to happen with cache runs of this size!

The start of the Oamaru Geofest trip in the company of HKCB (and in 24 hours iammrwalker) for a bit of a road trip
My trip stats were as follows: 617 caches (214 Puzzles), 3300kms, 500 litres of Petrol, 21 hours sleep, 100+hours caching time. THe weather was wonderful and apart from about a 6hour period on the sunday we had fine weather all the way and feel that we made a bit of a hole in the region.
Firstly thanks to all the CO's that put in the effort to to set up these caches and to all the CO's whose caches we did not find this trip, well we are already planning our next trip.
We worked hard at getting specific caches (especially the Geo Art around christchurch and hence our concentration on this area for the preliminary 24 hours. So after a couple of running repairs to the rental vehicle (fuses not working) we were off knowing that all ports could be charged and that sleep was for the weak.
Sorry about the copy and paste logs but that is what tends to happen with a number run of this size.
Thank you for the placement, thank you for the cache

JD and I were out on a mission to have our biggest caching day so far and we accomplished it by finding 126 caches in a day! We signed the log as Jeje. Nice to stop here on our way from doing Thompson's Track and heading to Rangiora. Tftc.
Today Injeanious and I started early and left home at 7am aiming to complete our biggest geocaching day ever. We started in Templeton before heading to Thompson Track and Rangiora. Altogether we found 126 caches in 14 hours. We had maybe 3 DNFs all day so felt very successful, although very tired.
Thanks to all the cache owners for helping us with our great day!
Sorry for the cut and paste logs but there were too many caches to log individually.
We signed our logs as JeJe to save time and space.

Out on a casual drive around exploring some more, and grabbing some caches on the way. Aiming to start the lolly scramble series on the return trip home. Apologies for the copy paste logs, COs please by no means think that this detracts from the find. I enjoyed my day out.
TFTC warfi, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 find of 29 today, making this find #1375

Nice little hint. On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc warfi. Find # 3422
Had a busy day with family visiting and as we went out to look at Nana and Grandads new house to be we called in to grab this cache. Quick easy find and just one left in this series (probably the hardest mugglewise). Thanks for the cache.
A lovely day for a drive to North Canterbury with Karma Reprint and Lorok. Rangi north done, time to tick of Rangi west. Nice signs, well hidden little cache. Cheers
Had a great day full of geocaching with Kiwi Moose and karma reprint. On this sunny day we went around Rangiora for visiting an event and plenty of caches.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides and thanks to Kiwi Moose and karma reprint for taking me on this trip full of fun.

Another quick find from the crew as the sun was going down. . Making the captain happy.
We were heading for Rangiora for coffee - but this was just by the road and we were passing. So Mrs SoBad used the hint for a quick find.
Thanks.
Thanks.
It took a wee while to spot the hint object, after which the cache was a quick easy find. TFTC
Late night mission to get my daily. This is one of three I have listed to get later in the day/under the cover of darkness. Quick grab sign and back home. Tftc
Quick evening supermarket trip, turned into a small adventure trying to find a cache. The first target was too busy, so we stopped here, and daughter eventually came up with the container. TFTC!!

Really desperately needed to go out to the supermarket, as there wasn't much food left in the house! And so decided to combine it with the daily task of the cache for the day.
So stopped by here before pak n save with mum, and picked this cache, as first cache we drove past was over filled with kiddies in the vicinity!
Cache took a little longer than I'd like to admit, due to not being able to spy the hint item for a while!!! But got there in the end
Consec caching day # 1177
