Due to changing conditions I am renewing this series with new locations, hides and containers and a bonus cache.
I stupidly decided to do some geocaching on a very hot day and didn't realise I would be walking up and down some ripped up 4WD tracks.
Found this one quickly, great hint, visited TBs, Tftc.

Cache check today. Container had been dislodged but I found it a few centimetres away. Replaced. Good to go.
A great walk along the Coastal track with the GeoHubby whilst at the OzGeoMuster Mega event.

1st of 2 DNFs (among 7 finds) this morning - Pinny Beach & Caves Beach.
It's the second day of our family holiday staying at Caves Beach and I was certainly keen to get some caches while I was up here. I got up early and had a short drive to the end of Spoon Rocks Rd, and then saw that most of the caches on my map around were part of this Two Beaches series, and would be a nice way to get some exercise while checking out the sunrise.
I'd walked all the way down to #7 Pinny Beach Boardwalk, found that, and was now heading back north towards the car again, to pick up the series on the way back.
The trail was quiet enough to have all of GZ to myself. A quick search based on the description, but no sign of a nano anywhere obvious. Then I read through past logs... Mighty Minions mentioned they had been looking for something different, so now I had my doubts that it was a nano. The CO had mentioned a hole with a stick in it in their October log, and I had easily found that hole and searched around that, but then their coordinate update log from November suggests that it should be 1.9 metres further away. So, I widened my search accordingly but still empty-handed. Not wanting to spend too long on DNFs today, I kept going on the trail, next to #5 Spoon Rocks Stairs.

Whilst at the OzMega event we Northumbriabs (Uilleanns) and I decided to take a walk along the Coastal track and grab a few.
(Unfortunately lost my reading glasses in their case somewhere down the tracks Bugger!)
Great series and walk.

I have started working nights recently and after being woken by a fed ex delivery I gave up trying to sleep and came looking for this cache instead, no muggles around and a beautiful view, Just what i needed today. At GZ I was assuming I was looking for somethig different so it took me a while to find the cache. But I eventually made the find and then took time to enjoy the nearby view. Thanks for the cache colleda tnln replaced as found sl

The stick in the hole is to stop the cache from falling in. I'll check on it soon as i can but if someone gets there before me search inside, above the stick.
Went for another run this afternoon with my sister. Took a bit longer cause we stopped and found a few caches. This was the second one we found. it took a couple of minutes to find the correct spot and i am lucky i spotted it as it fell out of its hiding spot whilst i was searching. TFTC
Checked on this one today and found it still there but the Bitou bush has taken over its hide. I brought a replacement and placed it a short distance away where the bitou will have less effect.

Couldn't find it looked low as suggested and high just in case. No luck but a lovely view nearby
Spent over a hour searching for this one. Maybe abit small of a cache to be placed in this area? Always hate nanos. We searched everywhere I think. Maybe it has fallen off and is gone. Had 3 sets of eyes looking
Off for the day caching with GeoIan. Lovely spot and beautiful views. Shame the grass is so high and not maintenanced. Enjoyed the walk. TFTC
Nice walk from #5. Though the grass is nearly higher than me. A routine search came up with the prize.
Lucky we had the log roller.

When I saw the name of this cache I imagined an abandoned train line, but of course it turned out to be something much more mundane. Again I managed to come at it along the wrong track, finding myself thirty metres away with no way through, but eventually got there and quickly spotted it. Just as I was signing the log, a muggle and his two mugglings went jogging past heading south, and about ten minutes later as I was making my way back towards Spoon Rocks Road they went jogging past me again, this time heading north. Some people are keen.
Many thanks for this enjoyable series.

Another lovely sunny day in the region (though a little windy).
This time I thought I would explore to the north a little.
The next stop was Caves Beach and Pinny Beach area.
Another beautiful location and I enjoyed the walks along the shoreline and the views from some of the higher locations. [^]
A quick find here.

The geokids and I headed to Caves and this cluster of caches for our school holiday adventure today, and we found ourselves on a most enjoyable coastal walk. After pausing by the lookout we continued on our way skirting around the fence line that just seemed like it kept going and going - and when we hit the grassy patch I had to laugh as the grass was taller than both geokids! Making our way to GZ the geokids were momentarily confused until I mentioned one of the logs said it was a lot smaller than they were looking for... That was all it took- in moments Geojorjy had the little bugger in hand.
Thanks for the fun of these finds

We walked the entire Two Beaches series today, numerical order from 2-9. Happy to reverse a DNF and not add more! Trails pretty muddy after the recent rain, but a nice breezy 24 degrees today kept things pleasant. No major wildlife spottings today to report....
Thanks for a great little series Colleda.
Don't try short cutting to this from the track from #4..... the Garmin map shows a track heading almost straight to #6, go via #5.....
Read the description, followed the GPS, good coords led us directly to the nano. Log getting tatty, but OK....

Today we planned to do most of the Caves Beach ones with my Dad and my friend,Peter. TFTC!!
We had a girls weekend away at Lake Macquarie.
We solved a couple of mysteries before hand to pick them up on the way.
We stopped at many beautiful spots and swam at nice beaches and took some nice little scenic walks. We also swam in the rockpool. We found many nice caches.
Thank you

Have been eyeing off this little beach series for a while now so I was super keen to be able to come up to the area today. I don't think I could've chosen a better day - it was absolutely glorious!
GPS was spot on and it was an easy find despite being a nano.. sneaky nonetheless I appreciate that these containers are all varying aswell as the difficulties. Put it back how I had found it
Thanks so much for bringing me here and taking me along the two beaches walk. Such a beautiful spot for a series, I really enjoyed it!

So much mud getting out here!! Decided to call it quits after this one because the kids were getting tired but I will definitely be back to finish. Thanks so much for a fantastic scenic walk colleda.
This took me a while to find - for reasons which became obvious once I did find it! Another log gave me the clue I needed. TFTC
Took a walk with my new backpack, the geowife and two geokids today. Completed all but a couple of the caves area caches. Three year old got too heavy on my back!
This was a cheeky little cache. Quickly found thank goodness on a very hot walk. TNLN TFTC

After picking up Junior we headed straight out to this point. I parked at the end of Spoon Rocks Road and walked past one cache unknowingly (as not in GPSr) then intentionally past the stairs as I wanted more walking, then finally arrived here and poked around before finally finding the little thing. There were lots of thistles on this path, some even blocking the path and they hurt! I let Junior navigate the way out and was puffed from carrying him when we reached the big down hill so I put him down and we ran all crazy like down to the bottom, not far from where the car was.
Thanks for bringing me out here (really looking forward to doing more of this series and exploring all the tracks around)!

A beautiful day to be out caching and we loved the location where this cache was hidden. Out with DiMorgan again today. A big thanks to colleda
Our last day in Newcastle & once again we spent the day caching with Liz and Bruce.
We headed south today past beautiful beaches & wonder scenery.
Knowing it was magnetic certainly restricted the areas we had to search.
Thanks colleda

"Easy find"
"Nice and easy"
Wrong!!!!!
We came here and searched every nook and cranny back and forth. After twenty minutes with moral at a minimum we decided to call it quits. It then hit me, lets dig around the poles a bit. I started digging and within 45s there it was. The Nano was staring at me in the wet leaf litter. I replaced it back on the pole and saw it needed a new magnet.

After searching for ages, Chris had the masterstroke to look around in the leaf litter beneath possible hiding spots. He than eventually found it. This one needs a new magnet I think.
Thanks for the hide colleda.

Hmm, a nano in the bush. Ok. Nice location a little further down on the headland. TFTC!!
Returned this morning back up the expressway to Swansea, Belmont districts to try to find the new additions to The Bison Migration Series also the one’s I missed yesterday and a few other caches along the way. Thanks for bringing me out to this wonderful part of the world. Spent quite a few of my younger days surfing Catherine Hill Bay and camping on the headland. Wonderful place. Great cache. TFTC
Found this one pretty quickly after looking up it's size. We had never been up around here before even after having lived in the area for a while. It's amazing what you miss when you don't explore! TFTH!
Once again colledas GPS are spot on, only one place it can be at gz and there it was, left pen in backpack at bike a little bit away so did not sign!
A lot of burnt trees around!!
Curious as to which fire this was!!

Found with Mrandre92 & Linden marking ourselves as L.AD. This took way longer than it should have. Missed reading the description and went by the GPS which lead us slightly astray. Once the description was read the cache was quickly found.
My geosis found this one while I was looking further up, great clue TFTC

Found on a half-colledathon (13 colledas in one morning), bet your ears were burning, found in the grass adjacent to the post, TFTC colleda!!
The path was being strimmed today and we found the cache under all the cut grass. We replaced it deep down but just hope that it is not raked up. TFTC.
Caching with TheMonks.
The cache was found very quickly, and the view from here surely validates the cache placement. We are still enjoying the caches and the walk.

1740 GAFF3 (As I'd written all the hints of the ones I planned on doing)
A pleasant walk, and soon found GZ, with just a short search.
Couldn't see any of the 'swaps' Eleebanana mentioned
Just the trackable shirt thru for mileage
Log sheet a little damp, and no o-ring (from memory)

Found this one on our caching afternoon which aimed to follow this series. Filled with a few swaps.
How crazy you must be to walk several kilometers in the plain sun with temperatures considerably over 30° C! Well geocachers are a bit crazy and that´s why we really enjoyed the hike however it was REALLY hot!
It took a while until we have discovered the little one however the coordinates are perfect!

This is a nice wild piece of coastline to explore and an easy find due to good co-ordinates. TFTC colleda.
Reperio at 1535.
Onward along this lovely little walking trail...and this part of the track was a little wet underfoot...but still ok to jog along without worrying where I was putting my feet. Once at GZ there weren't too many places that looked likely...and spotted the cache in the third place. Even though I was pushed for time with the others waiting for me back at the car...this was a nice part of the trail to wander along.

I awoke today at 5am ready to grab several FTFs...but saw the rainy skies and delayed my start by about 2hrs Grrr, turned out jonignite was hot onto this series this morning, but only about 45mins ahead, but I did catch upto him nearing the end.
I haven't walked this coastline for decades, to be honest its hardly changed.
The walk further south and all the way to Catherine Hill Bay is something everyone should see.
Recently I was caching near Pretty Beach and the local council provides doggy-doo-bags, it's a shame local council doesn't do it here!

I found my way along an unfamiliar path, the bike was still holding up well although it is only a hybrid. At GZ the coords were so good I just put my hand out at 0m and there it was. Thanks for a good hide.
