Staying in Barstow for a few days so used it as a base to cache the area, Barstow day 2
lol what a container, it definately needs alot of watering out here..

Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax. Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, Sth & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.

I thought about switching to that street but it didn't look like the cache would be that far over, Alas, we had to cross a street (not 58) but we got the cache on round 2.

This is day six of the Great Western Adventure with IndianaLiz.
Our goal today was to turn scattered cache hides into smiles. This included the RV geoart.

Quick P&G.

The high wind was a factor today along with it being the coldest day of the week.
Heavier clothing was worn to break the chilly wind.

OK then...another really, really, penetrating, and brisk wind this day. Doesn't change the beauty of the desert. Another reason to be astonished at the plant life that teems there amongst the rocks, sand, and wind. Gives new meaning to..."Go to the desert." I'll never again hear that phrase without pondering the strength and the hidden beauty found in that place. Did I mention that the next door neighbors have family in Barstow, and that I learned this piece of news after having been there for 8 days?

Khoda and I had a great time with this string of caches. Did a lot of walking along the trail just for the fun of it!!
