As we are heading off to the east in the morning we will not have time to check on this cache so have sadly decided to archive it. Many haven’t found this cache but every time we have checked it has been in place, it is hard to spot. When we come back home we will remove the cache.
Early this morning, I did a nice walk on the bike path and trying to do some geocaching, but it ws not a good day for caching...many DNF, many cache on non accessible area becaus it's close and few other cache seem missing...
The second time we were here we found it finaly, very good hiding spot...! ) thanks to the owners for the little help we needed. Happy Caching
Had a good long look round where GPS was indicating. If it's supposed to be under the small rocks then it's gone. Didn't want to venture into the spiny bush further, cheers V.
The cache is still in place, you do not need to cross through the fence line as it can easily be reached from the track. No rocks involved.
Yay finally one on the board for Cody! It's been a long hard drought with jimmy taking bragging rights for weeks! Great find
Headed back up to Geraldton for another caching run (third time this year). We started off by picking up as many caches as we could in the wheatbelt on the first day before arriving in Geraldton. The next day we headed up to port Gregory and Kalbarri and the highlight of the day would have to be be the pink lakes in port Gregory. Day 3 saw us caching in Geraldton picking up some we missed last time and clearing up a few of our DNFS here before adding some more DNFS to the list. Day 4 we headed off to mount magnet picking up some caches along the way till we arrived there. I must say the caches in mount magnet were quite tricky to find and it was also a stinking hot day so we didn't get to find all the caches we were hoping to find there. The last day we cached along the coast on the way home. Once again it was stinking hot and we missed doing a lot of the caches we hoped to find plus the flies were driving us crazy but we still got to visit some great places. Most of the caches we looked for we did find and we came across some very sneaky well made cache containers along the way. Thanks to all the CO,s for placing there caches for us and all the other geocachers to find.
pug002 DNF 25/10/2016 not a good day for us, apart from muggles around, they just eluded us. Power lines didn't help with GPS's.
After we checked into our accomodation we hopped back into the car to take a look around and grab a couple of caches before it go too late. This was a tricky one, thanks Ian&Sue.
Enjoying the journey with iluvtrekking as we head towards Geraldton. So many great spots to check out along the way. After checking into our nearby accommodation, we headed out to grab a few more finds while there was light. Tricky hide that took some time to uncover. Thanks Team Pathfinder
A very sneaky little hide that had us scratching our heads for a quite a while TFTC Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder this is find number 1208 for us.
Originally logged under family name of clan-wallace now slowly transitioning to new name
Doh!!!! Not where my Geosensce thought and not where GZ showed! Checked a few other likely spots still with no joy! But we will be back! Luckily it looked like there was inhabitants in the nearby structure.
Thanks in anticipation guys!
Thanks in anticipation guys!
Unfortunately a DNF here. But we were lucky to spot Mr or Mrs Sea Eagle in residence. Hope to be back and complete the series with a find!
Very happy to go back to this cache and
log a find! The osprey was waiting for us to go so he/she could go and give the young 'uns their dinner. TFTC Team Pathfinder!

Cache is definitely there, we did a cache run on Thrusday and replaced the log. Look a whole lot harder.
Returned on mass this afternoon once the others guys had met up with us, sometimes it does just take another pair of eyes and ears!
Glad to convert to a smily, thanks Team Pathfinder.
Glad to convert to a smily, thanks Team Pathfinder.
The Sea Eagles had two young peaking out from their nest, high up in the air. We watched the parent catch something for lunch & sit on a post to devour it ready for the rest of the family. Perhaps we were distracted because we would never have found this one without a PAF. TFTC
Had a look around for quite a while. Had to keep stopping for the passing traffic of muggles on wheels. Will have another look in the near future.
Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about with some of those friends and we targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!
Thanks Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder (F=5265 H=135) for placing this cache.

Found with micaparamedic. Well we didn't the first time and we only did after a hint from the CO's. There was some head slapping when we did find it! Doh!
As this cache is the closest to me campsite,
I have visited a few times now for what I hoped would be a quick cache find
Never happened
A couple of nights ago, a certain cat lover, dropped a hint in my direction
This morning, I made me daily pilgrimage to GZ.
And guess what !!??
I found the cache
I just cannot get me head around these Geraldtowne cache hides
Ah well !!
Another pesky cache removed from me list
TFTC.
Oh !! And the Ospreys are doing fine up there in their eyrie

A new caching day !!
A new camping spot !!
And bright and early it did not take too long to cycle the short distance to this GZ
Where I could see the ospreys in the nest
A few minutes later and started looking for the cache
'Bout 20 minutes later, I left with a DNF
No idea where this cache is !! [:o]

Found this back in august but could log it beacause my premium membership had run out. Went back and sign log again today. TFTC
Found it, didn't see anything in the nest but found an osprey just down the road sitting on the fence having a meal of fish.
Went back to this one again after no luck yesterday. Did get hint from CO but it still did not help. More searching and finally grabbed it with the help of geo pliers. Also saw sea eagle baby being fed. T.F.T.C
Out & about in Gero with MC_ZombieSlayer nice spot to park & cache. TFTC Team Pathfinder
Spontaneous find after walking on the beach. I did not have a pen!! I think there is s baby in the nest!! Soooo. Cute!!
Looked in all the obvious spots with this cache but turned up empty handed, scratched the head and rechecked my co-ord's and after having another check of the gz soon found this cunning yet so simple cache, thanks for the clever cache.
Took us a while! Only glimpsed the osprey but could certainly hear them!! TFTC
Hah! Hubby couldn't find this one the other day so he brought wifey with him. Walked straight to it. Sooo easy. LOL! Great view of the lighthouse from the beach. Another place we hadn't been to in many a year.

No luck here, although we did get to see the baby osprey, or perhaps more than one.
GZ was right in the middle of the road which left the search area pretty wide, but 10 minutes searching didn't turn it up.
It is quite muggly here too which didn't help.
Thanks anyway Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder

As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache.
The feathered guy above kept a watch on us while we found this one.
Thanks for being part of our great adventure.

[Teal] As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache. Dad did most of the hard work here and the detail of our find can be found in the Rats log. Sorry for the duplicate log but it takes nothing away from the find.
Thanks for showing us this spot on our trip.

In town for Geraldton's International Geocaching Day Event. After the event we collected a few more caches, unfortunately this wasn't one of them. Maybe we were getting a bit tired by then.

We could hear the birds in the nearby nest.
Thanks for the cache

Oh my third try on this one my gps co-ordinates where off but after a tip from a fellow cacher I had the sucker in hand. I Swear Id checked there a few times already
took the kids out on the bikes and don't recommend riding from cache to cache with the kids. The co-ordinates all seem so far from the bike tracks getting the kids off bikes and out of baby seats then all the way back was a huge hassle and we didnt find five of the out and about series we planned to look for today. will come back without the bikes
This was my third attempt at this one and finally managed to find it. Great wee hide and had the best view of the eagle today. TFTC.
Found with Outnabout prior to flying home after in couple of very enjoyable weeks. TFTC
Found with Wollaston on a windy afternoon. Sneaky hide but a goody. Thanks Ian&Sue
Fantastic osprey nest....our first cache for 2014....here's to a wonderful new year....shared this with cgeo also.
After not being able to search for the cache near the light house due to muggles, I wandered up here for a look. There were heaps of cars coming up from the beach so I had to bide my time. I eventually got a chance to search and turned up the prize. Signing the log I read the info about the Osprey and was on my way soon after.
Thanks for the cache Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder
Cheers

You might have to change the caches name. The OSPREYS were impressive. Excellent cache. Thanks

We are staying at the nearby caravan park and went for a walk after dinner and set out to grab a couple of the nearby caches, armed with torches we set out. After a short walk along the beach passing a couple of fishermen along the way we found a track to tak us back to the road and it also had this cache at the end. Didn't take to long to find the little sucker.

Found, on our first day caching around Geraldton.
There was a muggle parked close by, checking out the big nest.
So, we did the same, waiting for him to leave.
Cache had us tricked for a minute or two.

After a hint we made the find easily enough. There are some chicks squawking in the nest and whilst we were there the parent bird came in with a fish that shut them up.
Thanks for the cache

After attending the "International Geocaching Day 2013 - Geraldton, (GC4EWQP)" went and grab a few more caches before heading back to the caravan park and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand after several minutes of searching.
