A bit of local knowledge here would have been handy as our GPS took us to the cemetery up the hill. From there I would have had to push my way through thick scrub and then drop down the cliff to GZ.
Ended up finding an easier way to get to GZ where I had the place to myself. Coordinates took me straight to a place that fit the clue but no cache was uncovered there. Broadened the search area but still came up empty handed. Oh well, you can't get them all. Although this became the start of a bad run of 5 DNF's in a row!!!
Thanks.

Darn it, I missed another Wilbur67 cache. We probably should have waited for a cooler time but were passing here so called in. Parking was difficult as a lot of people were heading to the pool and I walked up to where the GPS sent me. I checked out that area according to the clue then moved along to a few other similar sites without finding the cache. With so many people in the pool able to watch me, I felt I needed to move on so I gave up until another time.
First cache I ever looked for. No joy. It look me around the corner from the pool to a tree near a cliff which is a fair way from the people pictured with it near the pool. Confused and can't find in either location.
Looked high, looked low, bumped into another GeoCacher that had found this one but it still could not be found.
We have looked for this one so many times when it was in previous location. Finally a smiley face. Thankyou wilbert67.
Have searched many times for this cache with other fellow cachers. Never had any luck. We were finally able to get a smily face. Whoo hoo. Thank you for the cache
Thanks for bringing us out here, it was just a lovely spot for us to sit and have lunch.
Indeed a wall collapse and no idea where the cache went? Has been replaced in a more safe spot

Recent significant storm activity. Apparentltly placed on top of gabion wall, area subject of high flows.
Been away for a few days, this one might need maintenance? Will check in the next couple of weeks
I was using the benefit of an extra day off work to extend my hunt out of my usual caching range. After spending the night in Kiama, I had an early start to go further south to Currarong.
The boat ramp was busy this morning, and a few people were going to and from the pool here. Had to wait a bit for a clear moment to make my move on the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

After a stop over in town we started the day with our fix of sea views and collected this cache, once we found our way down to the great location.

I was so thankful to find this cache on a sunny Sunday with the family. We had driven down to, Gerringong to spend a gift voucher at Natural Necessity Surf Shop with a promise of a swim, potentially a "pool". With a sneaky, quick glance of caches in the area, this one was decided on. What a beautiful location! As we set up a spot, conveniently right next to the cache, my geohubby says "you knew that was there, didn't you". We'll how else would I find an amazing spot like this?! Lol. TFTC
TFTC wish I brought my snorkel to explore the rock pool, Next time! found with the herd. Left an origami friend.
The day off work had me driving down to Gerringong to Shoalhaven Heads for ~20 caches.
Unfortunately a massive storm hit the surrounding areas, so I made my way back North, through Shellharbour, Dapto, Farmborough Heights and Wollongong to pick up the new hides - making a total find count of 10 today. After all said and done, I drove through yet another huge storm on my drive home!

3rd of the day - this is when the thunder and lightning started setting in.
Bolted back to the car haha! Nice spot along this boardwalk - I'll be back when it's better weather!

Detoured here on our way home from Wollongong Uni to see the Spirit of ANZAC. A few muggles having a late afternoon dip. Very pretty spot. SL TFTC Wilbert67
Lots of muggles around, but with a bit of stealth we soon had it in hand. We forgot a pen though, so were unable to sign the log.
Found on an early morning walk, on a beautiful sunny morning, after the big wet. Good to see the sun again.
Lovely spot. A few old guys here for an early morning dip.
First cache of 2016 for me & this caches dirt find in 2016.

A few people using the pool this afternoon but the good clue made finding the cache easy without being noticed. Nice spot. TFTC!

Parked at the bottom of the big dipper on Percy st and walked down to GZ.
What a great spot!
Two swimming muggles in the pool.
I'll be coming back here again soon

Found whilst visiting Mark. What an amazing view the nearby cemetery has! From there I wandered down and after reference to the hint made the easy find, despite the warning of imminent death in the area. From there I wandered around to have a go at the nearby earthcache but was defeated by a muggle who was far to intent on me not completing it.
Was in the area playing for a wedding. Found a likely looking spot but no cache. Gorgeous location for a cemetery.

We started off at the wrong level - we enjoyed the cemetery and eventually made our way to the right spot. A great location - thank you for bringing us here.

Great spot and a quick find for the spritely geo- daughter in law in our way to brunch
Beautiful views on the way to find this cache. Good walk especially round the coast. Thx Gerringong from Omaha, NZ.
After parking the motorhome bus in Gerringong I caught the train to Minnamurra for the 22km Kiama Coast track walk with the intention of picking up some caches along the way. Unfortunately caching really slows you down and by early afternoon I had to abandon the caching and hotfoot it along the track. Word on the street was that Werri Lagoon was open to the sea. Dire warnings from the lady in the Kiama Information Centre (" you shall not pass!!!" or words to that affect) had me worried about whether I could get back to my vehicle. Some intrepid travellers moving in the opposite direction said it was passable if I didn't mind wading across. I didn't, but also didn't want to be doing so in the dark. With sunset due about 5pm I had a time limit I had to meet. On arriving at Werri Lagoon I was bemused and a bit frustrated by the info centre lady's admonition that it was impassable and waded the 3-4m of thigh deep water to the other side. She obviously has no sense of adventure.
The bus had been parked next to the cemetery all day and this was to be my last cache of the trip. By the time I reached the top of the hill I was tired, sore, wet, bedraggled and sporting 2 of the biggest ugliest blisters I've ever seen. I was spent. I limped into the bus, changed out of the wet gear and vamooshed. I plan to return and find all the caches I left unfound another time.

TFTC Kids loved and gave it a fav point for drawing blood on geodads leg during the find
This to me is what geocaching is all about, discovering areas I never knew existed. Can't wait for summer to come back & swim in the sea pool.

It's been quite a while since I was out and about geocaching, so today - with the wind blowing way too hard to go sailing - I thought I'd catch up with a few caches that I've managed to ignore for several years. This one was well protected for the savage south-westerly gale and a quick find. It was a bit exposed, so I covered it a little more. Thanks Will.
Found this cache at 3pm while having a pleasant day out caching and attending the Special event for J+J milestone.

Second find of two on the way to J+J.au's 10,000 Finds event. What a stunning spot this is here! Some muggles swimming in the pool but I managed to sneak the find while sitting and admiring the view for a while. TFTC!
I wonder how many non-locals are aware of this scenic and historic spot. Thanks for bringing us here.
Enjoyed the cemetery on the way to this cache, nice collection of historic graves plus a few freshies. TFTC.
Great Kiama suburbs...
Thanks Wilbert67 for bring me here and the series cache.

Only 2 out of 5 today. 3 sad faces. Looked all around GZ even in blackberry. But no find. Thanks anyway Wilbert67.
After quite a hood look around & under the stand - no luck. Kids had fun looking but disappointed they couldn't locate it. We'll try again another time
Searched without success and departed with scratches from the brambles, it would appear that the cache has been muggled.
Dropped in here again this afternoon on our way home. Spent about 15 minutes crawling in & around GZ. Our 2nd DNF on this one
Our last stop on our trip from Tweed to Jervis Bay. We spent about half an hour here and gave up after getting scratched too many times by blackberries & bitten by a spider. A lovely part of Gerringong that we never knew existed, thanks for taking us there Wil
Not the best start for us today. We parked the car at the top near the cemetrie and went down the nice way to the beach. At the cache area we searched for a while but without success. Nevertheless we enjoyed the beautiful beach.
Greetings from Germany
PS:
Now being logging we see the cache is disabled. So the problem was on us - we had not seen this.

May need a cache check, as I didn't have any muggles to contend with, and thought I had a good look, but only found a dead bird under a rock within 10m of GZ.
Would certainly like to know if the cache is still there - unless it was the poor bird.
No muggles so early in the morning in the pool, but there was a group camping near the toilets - maybe orthodox christmas celebration.
