Found it! After a morning event at Tailem Bend I decided to start on the Signal caches I had recently finished solving. Its a warm-ish humid morning with storms forecast for later in the day. Quick find here, nicely hidden. TFTC!
Had solved these caches years ago.Whilst we were staying in Murray Bridge.WE went for a drive to find these. Tftc
The sun is shining and Jlly suggested a caching day out around Murray Bridge. Jlly was targeting the Signal geo art which I thought I had completed. Apparently not, I had a handful left to find.We started with brunch in Murray Bridge, then collected all that were needed or solved on the Signal geo art. Grabbed a multi inbetween and completed an AL around The Bridge before finishing the evening with a meal at the Community Club.It was an fab day with sunshine, laughs, food, caching and a an awesome sunset.TFTC OzFiresafe
It was decided yesterday that with a beautiful day ahead, LB and I would venture to The Bridge for an adventure. I would begin finding the geoart known as Signal and LB would complete it!I will have to work on a few more solves before I can return to complete Signal with on my map.TFTC OzFiresafeKeep smiling
Today out and about on 139 of 183 days to get my daily cacher Sapphire Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
A Leap Year Mega draws us to Adelaide. Today's our intrepid group is working from Murray Bridge, in particular the Oz Mega 2014 Signal Geo-art. We are using the Acronym 4 for QLD to sign the log sheets. We had solved all the puzzles before leaving Queensland. It was a pleasant drive through that countryside, and we were pleased to find all the caches on our list. And so happily I say that the logs were signed and caches replaced as found on this day, 7th March 2024. TFTC, OzFiresafe.
After attending the Great Leap Forward in Adelaide it was time for us to find more geocaches.I'm travelling and caching with RoddyC, hatzofff, Snickersallan, grannysmith1974 and signed logs as 5 for QLD.I'm having a great time on my first visit to SA. TFTC

Having solved the Sudoku and acquired the coordinates some time ago it was now that I am spending a few days in Tailem Bend before attending the Leap Year Mega in Adelaide that I am able to make the search for these caches. All were found in good condition unless specifically mentioned. Thank you to the COs who obviously have put in a great deal of time and effort in forming this geoart and placing and maintaining the caches.
The last seven Signal The Frog caches! This has taken me about three years to complete! Very happy to have no DNFs on a series that is about to turn ten years old. A big thank you to OzFiresafe for this cache and the series, and also to all those that have helped with maintenance over the years. OMG, real Tupperware!! Thanks Morgo!
Found the preform on the side of the road with a broken lid. Placed a new cache as per the hint.Caching in the Murray Bridge area with a focus on Signal the Frog.OzFiresafe, I found Oz Mega 2014 Signal #57 today. RoamingHowie and OzHockeyChick’s Epic Road Trip - Day Eighteen: Now relocated to Murray Bridge, today we’re targeting some local geo-art - Signal, Ice-cream and Straya. Depending on the heat, we may not get it all done, but Ice-cream of some form is definitely on the agenda.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, OzFiresafe

As the LGA adventure yesterday we now enter Day 18 based in Murray Bridge. Tackling signal, ice cream (hopefully both sorts) and some challenges.
As a big fan of this type of puzzle, these made for a good lockdown puzzle and these have been solved for sometime awaiting a day like today.
Thanks OzFiresafe for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

A lot cooler forecast today than yesterday's 37 degrees, so the decision was made to grab the "Signal" caches. Most were easy finds but a few took us a tad longer.

Today we looked for the remaining caches of the signal series.
We found all caches very easily.

Off out out into the country today with Wollaston, we decided to start chipping away at the GeoArt trail ‘Signal’ originally set up for OzMega 2014.
A later than normal start, we left ‘home’ after lunch and found our first cache early afternoon, very overcast day 15 degrees but thankfully not raining.
Thanks to the many hands and minds taking time to set out hides and showing us your part of the world

22,674. Found with minniek during our Post-Christmas escape to South Australia.
This trip to South Australia was on again off again due to the changing circumstances in the various states we had to travel through. Finally getting a green light from all 3 states we headed off early boxing day. Day 9 of our adventures took us to Murray Bridge for a few days camping and caching. Signal the Frog was our main aim for today. All caches were found quickly and in good order unless otherwise stated. Next find of the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, and then headed off to the next one.
Thanks OzFiresafe !!

After a week in Adelaide, it is time for Fitzy_1965, the two two-kids and I to start on the slow road towards home. Have decided to stop in Murray Bridge for a few nights and hit a trail or two.
Signal was our target today. All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise stated.

Today we set out to conquer the Signal, and conquer we did. Our two cache and one driver team cached until lunch where we made it to #33 (45th find). We popped home for lunch then two of us continued the remaining of the series in the afternoon. We had completed the whole series and two extra caches before 4.30pm. It was a ‘no rush’ casual and enjoyable days caching. Thanks to the CO for the placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found with Team Waldron on a lovely Spring day. Found most of the caches in this excellent series as they were easy to find and trouble free. It has been around for awhile but still providing lots of fun for us geocachers.
Found on a weekend away at Murray Bridge with IcingOnTheCupcake and Guz's Travellers. Signed log as MIG. TFTC.

Today, I headed out for a solo geocaching day around Murray Bridge, with my main aim to complete the *Oz Mega 2014 Signal* power trail. It wasn't planning to be the nicest day with its weather, with scattered showers forecast. So spending the day mostly in the car, didn't feel too bad. I managed to complete the trail in just under four hours, and then headed to Murray Bridge to find a few geocaches on the south side of town, and then heading to its centre. With the last remaining daylight, I then completed the first section of *Bindi's GeoMobiles* series, after having completed the other section with gridge98 some months ago. It turned out to be a pretty good day; perfect to what I ended up doing, with minimal rain in the end, and a cold day to help my fitness getting in/out of the car. The full rain seemed to have fallen when I was driving back to Adelaide in the evening too.
These Oz Mega 2014 puzzles took a while to solve, even with some assistance from the internet. I wondered if I had solved them by hand, by the end of the 89th cache, I could read sudokus like others can read a second language?
As previously mentioned, all up, this trail took me just under four hours to drive. Some caches were immediately spotted from pulling up with a quick find, while others had a good 10-15 min devoted to searching. The SPORs and white rocks that pinpointed the cache were great, but I seemed to struggle on the "tree" caches, where the cache could have been at the base, in a hollow, or cable tied on higher, and frequently those appeared in denser growth locations. All in all, I didn't mind driving this trail today, and certainly, in the early-middle sections, my morale had dropped after trying to study and countdown each cache, but at least the separation of caches in section allowed a piecemeal approach.
This cache took a while to find, since I needed to search the various hollows. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks OzFiresafe for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Day 175 (Friday 21st) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Tailem bend today. A total of 13 for the day and 3101 for the trip. TFTC
Oh my goodness. The breeze is certainly blowing in the wrong direction today. What was a slight smell at the last cache is now quite strong. Cache located and signed. TFTC
TFTC. We had solved all of this series of puzzles a few weeks ago during the heatwave in Victoria. We decided to take a trip to Murray Bridge and relieve the cabin fever we have had. We arrived in Tailem Bend and took the ferry over the river to attempt the series. The co-ordinates for all the caches were spot on and given the time these caches have spent in the weather most of them are in really good shape. Where the container has perished we have noted that in the individual log. A great day of caching.
I had planned a big few days of caching in SA so I left work on a Tuesday evening and hit the road from Melbourne. This was my first full day of caching and it was centred around the ROTF power trail. Having completed that and grabbed some food at Meningie I did a quick calc and realised I needed about another 30 caches to hit 300 for the day. I grabbed the (free!) ferry over the river at Wellington towards where I was staying for the night and decided to tackle a few of the OzMega Signal series. I had solved them all before Xmas which turned out to be an easier task than I had anticipated. A few of the containers and logs are showing their age but all were found with good coordinates in likely hiding spots. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series OzFiresafe.
Having started the oz mega signal yester, I headed back down south with the intention of finishing it and making a start on the wandering heroes’ caches. It was perfect weather for a long day of caching, after a few caches the mojo was back and good progress was made. Stopping in Wellington for lunch (and more caches) it was off to Tailem Bend and a steady slog was made into the wandering heroes. Eventually, as the sun was setting it was time to call it a day and head home after an enjoyable day.

Had a bit of a solving sesh this week in an attempt to increase my number of puzzle finds.
Headed out to MB after the brekkie event and found all the caches on my puzzle list except one which I think I used the wrong suduko solver for so reverted that one back to original coordinates for now.
Was relieved not to encounter any slitheries on the drive just lizards and rabbits and dead things.
The roads were quite quiet other than an L plate driver who drove past me on numerous occasions probably was wondering what on earth I was doing!!
TFTC and series still got another 30 or so to return for another day.
Rewarded myself with an ice cream in MB fabulous and that was lunch done!!

Before leaving home we solved close on 1000 puzzles to find while we were on holiday. This was one series that was solved (although I have now discovered I missed solving one) so we set out this afternoon to find them all (except for the unsolved one of course). There were only a couple of issues which I will detail in my log for #1, the rest were nice quick finds. We managed to get all caches found and signed off just before the rain hit. tftc

Finished these puzzles over a year ago, last time I was In SA I didn't get over this side of the city. Spent to much time doing the fish artwork. but back again for round two. Most were found easy, couple a little bit harder. Tftc
I completed these puzzles about a month ago and decided today to make the drive out and try and find them all, most were easy find. TFTC
Mr Tardis has finally made a start on this Signal series. It's been on my map for too long, and today I found 31 of them. Some were easy to find and others took a minute or two of searching. All cachers were in good condition except for the couple that I have raised needs maintenance logs on.

Tackled this series with hevwalker today. Had lots of fun although as Heather said there was lots of talking and we overshot a few. But we got better as the day went on.
Went into Murray Bridge for lunch and had some yummy sushi which kept us going.

Taking the long way home from my parent's place, I aimed to grab this line of Signals on the way home. This one took a bit of bush bashing in the dimming light; finally, out came the torch and a quick flash of white alerted me to the correct 'tree hole'.
After a late cancellation of an appointment and the chance of reasonable weather, I made a snap decision to spend the day on my own completing this series.
It was an interesting trip around the back roads, with some caches well-hidden and others more obvious. I enjoyed the variety in containers and hides.
I ended up with 86 finds and 3 DNFs. Most of the containers were in reasonable order, although a few are in need of repair/replacement (specific notes made in logs for these caches and #1).
It was interesting that I was approached on three separate occasions by landholders asking what I was doing. It seems that there may have recently been some (non-caching related) problems in the area. After a short chat, they all went away happy enough.
I was fortunate that the weather held out and, with the exception of a brief shower, it was a very pleasant day.
Thanks OzFiresafe for the series.

First started this series in October, 2015 - with very hot weather slowing down our caching as well as not completing this series. Finally had a chance to return and chose great weather today to complete the series. Thanks OzFireSafe for the effort in organising and placing the caches for us to come and search for.
Our third visit to signal but this time we are determined to finish the set. TFTC.

Although they are all solved, we won't have time to look for them all on this visit. Thank you for going to all the trouble of making this great series that has taken us on roads less travelled. These are exactly the roads that we love. Thank you for all the caches and for bringing us here.
jinta29 and I are in town this week after many months of planning for a week to remember. We are heading to the Yorke Peninsula, Murray Bridge and as many places in between as we can get to. This was one we found along the way.

Day 4 of our SA trip had us leaving our camping spot in Palmer nice and early and heading towards Murray Bridge [^]. Of course there were many power trails collected including the geo art
I had been eyeing off an interstate trip for some time now and made plans to head to SA to power through the geoart trails over here . I roped in my geo buddy Krabiboy to join me and we set about solving [?] caches and highlighting Jasmer caches that aren't available over in WA. Our adventure took us from the CBD over to the Yorke Peninsula and then back across to the Murray Bridge area . We were relentless in chasing down the finds and picked up as many as we could in the week that we had available. Due to the park and grab nature of our visit, the log books which weren't able to accommodate the ink stamp we had made were signed with the initials 'jk'! Fave points will be awarded for those caches which are considered awesome
A massive thanks here to OzFiresafe for placing this cache here and for tempting us to venture over to this area. Cheers!
jinta29 found your cache Oz Mega 2014 Signal #57 today. This is my find #7576 and find #312 today. I was able to get my name in the log book here and we replaced the cache as we found it. Thanks once again OzFiresafe for placing this and bringing us to this part of the world!

I had decided to have a couple of days in Murray Bridge mainly to get the Signal power trail and then some others along the way. [^]
Had spent quite a bit of time working out the coordinates and then plotting my route to save too much back tracking.
I was a little worried about the weather as rain threatened, then a couple of showers where I got quite damp especially when I had to walk through very wet undergrowth. Thankfully most of the day was reasonably fine and I didn't have to abhort.
Had a good day with most of the coords being spot on, some caches were easy to find, others a little more difficult.
I had to jump a fence at #16 to retrieve the cache about 50 metres into the paddock. I did replace #13 and #89 as they were clearly not there. Replaced the log in a plastic bag at #47 as this log was mush. Also replaced the log in a new container at #69 as this container was falling apart and was completely filled with water. Other containers were a little worse for wear but log books were dry so left them as they were.
Thanks for the cache and the series OzFiresafe, I am glad I have now completed this one.

Found it with TICE [Hiltsu, J&T, kapeka & laalaa]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!
Greetings from Finland!

Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.
All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!
Today we drove back to Adelaide from Murray Bridge. Main target for today was Oz Mega 2014 puzzle trails.

it had been a good day to do this trail - we found almost all of them, but as previous cachers have written, some need maintenance or are gone

I was accompanied by 'Roogles!' & ‘Library Ladies’ on this find. Together, we’ve been geocaching all over Australia for the past month… and I thank you very much for adding to our adventure!
Found it while on a Geocaching road trip with 'Library Ladies' and 'The Jackaroo!'
On this trip we are signing log-sheets with the team name, "Team SoExp" to save space on log-sheets. Thanks for this geocache today - it's a part of a great series that I'm very happy to have found... Geo-art Puzzle Cache Owners are awesome! Thanks!

Found with The Jackaroo and Roogles!. We are using the team name Team SoExp. For this adventure we used labels to speed things up some. We had solved the puzzles for this geoart awhile back knowing that we would be visiting Adelaide. The puzzles were fun to work on and, with 2 solvers, didn't take very long. Most of the caches in this series were quick finds, but several took a bit of searching. There wasn't much traffic, which helped make searching easier. We even spotted a few of the caches from the car!! TFTC!
Having completed the Oz Mega series last month, we decided it was time to finally tackle the Signal series.
We had an enjoyable afternoon drive to find approx half of the series. We watched the sunset and moon rise (at the same time) and found the last few caches in darkness, before completing our loop back to home.
All caches were found quickly and most were in good condition. We replaced one log book and one broken lid. We were unable to replace a second broken lid as we had none the correct size.
Apologies for the generic log.

Better late than never. Had planned on doing these at Oz Mega but didn't quite happen. Managed about half today. Very relaxing driving around the back roads on this beautiful day. Will be back soon to finish this series. Thanks OzFiresafe for all your work. TFTC
After staying at Murray Bridge overnight I headed out today to try a few power trails. The first one on my list was Signal and it was a very pleasant trail that I followed through the countryside.
I had a few head scratching moments along the way but eventually found what I was after. I replaced a lid or two along the way but apart from that everything was okay for me today.
Thanks for a great series!

Out with sir_spectre and jacknor on a 24 hr straight caching run and this was the targeted trail. Most caches were found spot on however a few were about 20metres away. Thanks for the trail.
found it with rod81w and jacknor on a 24 hour caching run. All caches on trail where found with a magellan explorist 610 some 10 to 15 metres away and 1 on wrong side of road. that's the first 100 caches down.
So its been awhile since I have started up my GPS and looked at what I have found. To my surprise I have so much logging to do, and from so long ago. So I have had to put a generic log together as I have no clue what happened this long ago.
Apologies in advance for the generic log, But life has taken a few different paths over the last 2 years now I have to play catch up.
I know one thing this was a very long couple of days chasing up all these caches, its been since April 2014 since we did the other side of the river. we are so glad to get these ticked off
Thanks for the cache OzFiresafe
