Logs
Found at 11:40pm under cover of darkness. Clever and impressive hide in a busy location. Definite FP. TFTC.
Well wayback at 17-3-13 I had this logged as a DNF, as there were to many people around. So today while having a day at Kiama with daughter and grandchildren it was decided by the eldest granddaughter that we should try for this cache again. As I had not brought my glasses she was navigator and description reader. Close to GZ the compass seemed to point to a plant but granddaughter insisted that we follow the description and said look around here and yep there was the smallest tell tale. So the muggles departed and we got on with extraction, signing and replacement, all went well. What a great hide in the middle of town. A well thought out cache.TFTC BlacknWhiteFP
#5036 Visiting Kiama for a few hours so snuck off to check out this hide that wasnt too far away.A short search and the nicely concealed cache was in hand. Thanks BlacknWhite for placing and maintaining this cache.
Crawler made me jump, excellent spot. Not as many muggles from weather warning. TFTC
#14686 12:TFTC25Second visit to this cache, and happy that I could finally tick this one of the list after initially searching the larger object next to it.Nice camo and worth a FP.
Trying to get inside the head of the hider is great took me 5 mins but what a great idea all of black n whites hides have been very thought provoking ...tftc....The log is full I found an empty page in the middle
Quick search and grab. Very nice park and good spot for families once the playground is completed. TFTC!??
#7866We're on an LGA hunting road-trip, chasing bare LGAs from Shoalhaven to Wagga and beyond. Today we heading down to Bega, trying to squeeze in as many fun caches as we can into the long trip. Great weather - cool and dry.Samuel spotted this, just outside of the painters barrier sneaky hide - very well made though. Thanks for the cache!
#7866Day One of our Southern NSW trip. Home > BegaAn early start today and were on the road, targetting whatever DTs, attributes and types we want. end of copy paste Someone is painting a mural right over the top of GZ on the wall, but we ducked in front of the barriers and nabbed the cache. TNLN SLThanks for placing and maintaining this cache BlacknWhite
Brilliant hiding! I thought it looked suspicious immediatelly, but theres no chance any muggles would spot this. And respect for the jump scare, you got me haha. Fav point in!
Gut gefunden. Sehr interessantes Versteck. Gut gemacht. Ein sehr schner Cache in Kiama. Danke fr den Cache Well found. Very interesting hiding place. Well done. A very nice cache in Kiama. Thanks for the cache
What an awesome hiding spot. Love the container (thanks for the jump scare). First one for the day.
Nicely done... happily quiet atGZ and Mr E 's caching mojo took him straight to it. Clever construction that we've not seen before.
#2646On arriving to gz, I thought to myself, wow, this could be tough. I must of just sat at the right spot. Before I knew it CIH.TFTC
After looking in the obvious places unsuccessfully put faith in the co-ords and sat down to think and feel around without looking suspicious. Bingo. There it was. Always feel a bit suspicious when Im out alone but this one made it way Tftc
Clever hide!! Nice little spot. Good vibes after a DNF earlier today on another one. Tftc!
Wow. What an excellent hide. Id like to replicate this somewhere else. Was here doing the Kiama tourist and had lunch across the road and grabbed the cache afterwards. Have a favourite point and TFTC
An absolute stunner of a hide fav Point given.Currently on holidays up from Victoria come down to Kiama to look at the Blowhole and just collecting a couple of caches on our drive back thank you for the placement of this hide great job
Revisited an old fav. I'd forgotten where this one was hidden. It was great to re discover. Great hide. Tftc
Reperio 17:36The family and I headed to the South Coast for a couple of days away, which gave us the chance to check out some of the local caches in the area. After enjoying some fish and chips down by the water, we headed back to the car, and I just happened to notice this one was right where we were. At GZ, the coast was clear, and soon found the nicely hidden cache. Gratias BlacknWhiteAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
On our last days of our Sydney holiday we drove along the coast to Kiama. On the way we did some caches to mark some of the spots that we passed. This was one of those caches. After some searching we finally managed to find it.TFTC
TFTC! Day 2 of our journey from Brisbane to Melbourne. We arrive Campbelltown last night and today here we are at Kiama. Its a bit of detour but its so worth it! We enjoyed a nice coffee nearby and also visited the Kiama Blowhole. As for the cache Im definitely leaving a favourite point! Would love to hear the story behind of making this cache. We spend a few minutes looking around then Geo-mum pointed out a likely spot - not gonna lie she does have a strong sense in geocache. I first yelled excitedly when I realise this is the caches hiding spot, then I screamed out when I have the cache in hand! Thanks for the placement, we surely enjoyed our short but lovely time here at Kiama:)
Thanks to this cache, we visited some very nice spots and beautiful places and I enjoyed another perfect day on my holidays in Australia.
2 for 2 today and my first find in the Municipality of Kiama. I'm closing in 300 LGAs completed. A fav point for the placement. TFTC
With a little help from some geocaching-experts. Thanks a lot to the australian familiy. First they put away a spider and the I could get it safely...tftc says Das Ahr-Team
A little bit tricky, but we made it. Thanks for this cute cache and greets from Germany
Was quite hard to find, but the clue in the text narrowed it down a bit, and once the likely spots were eliminated, those that remained - however unlikely - must hold the cache. Haven't seen this variant before, creative!
What fantastic hide , very clever deserves FP . Made my way to indicated area took a few minutes to allow muggles to walk by. TFTC BlacknWhite . Massive fig trees here .
Very sneaky hide but we spotted it while standing back to observe the scene. Thanks for thr fright haha. FP added
Tricky little one!! Had me beat for a little until I stood back and looked back at the stairs! Great camo
Picking up a few caches as souvenirs of our week long Scottish Country dancing school in Kiama. Very clever hide. All safe and dry. Thanks for the placement. Greetings from New Zealand.
Great hiding spot, and great camo too! Haven't seen many like this before. Enjoyed it TFTC!
What awesome camo! Never seen one like this before! Signed the log and replaced as found; TFTC!
Day 5. A last minute plan had been hatched to make my way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip.
Wollongong to Sydney today with lots of detours.
A clever way to hide this and one that I had not noticed before.
Thanks BlacknWhite for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.
