It seems the area has had significant ground work so time for this one to fly off in to the sunset.
Had to move on from this. Place was quiet until a large truck turned up to dump gravel. Moved on after a very quick look. GZ and hint did not match.
On the way home from the Oparara Arch we needed to stop for this one. Very easy to spot from the right direction. TFTC!!!
The man from next door with the black labrador surprised me as I was returning the container so had to explain what I was doing. He said he talked to someone else doing "that" 3 weeks ago. I guess they don't get a lot of passing traffic at the airport. Thanks holymu

I was fortunate enough to be able to squeeze an 11 day holiday out of two leave days!! I headed out west to find some caches, see some sights, and relax before the madness of the semester hits. The weather was unbelievably good, only a bit of a storm over Arthur's Pass on the first day, otherwise hot and sunny. I found a great variety of caches, drive by's, walks, hikes, even a power trail. Thank you to all the CO's for their great hides!!!
Was a little tricky as the Labrador dog from next door had been digging up the area
We are flying to the Browns Hut with Mit and had some time before our flight to find this one. Took a while as it is nicely hidden. TFTC
On the way back to the motel after a beautiful sunset we found this cache. Thanks for showing us this big airport
Was interested to see such a good landing strip for such a small airport but we imagine the airport is used quite a bit. Looks like the gardener has not been around for a while but the cache was easily spotted and some kind person has put a new wee log book in it.
Flew into airport with Billehenny. Jumped into vehicle and got half way to town until we relised there was a cache at airport. TFTC

Just flew into the airport via chopper after fishing the Johnson river. at least we got a cache,
From Wesport to Karamea today, though doubtful of getting there after the windstorm. Power out in Karamea when we got there made a cosy night in the hostel. Arrived in plenty of time so went caching before dinner. Someone was teahing their daughter how to drive up here! Thanks for the hide.
Very pleased to log a find after a couple of stuff ups on my behalf. Quite a busy wee place today with one vehicle parked up, a helicopter on the pad and three vehicles on the move. TFTC 5370
No one round the airport this early in the morning. There was a campervan parked up near one of the sheds (legal?) but no one appeared from there. Took a bit of a search as my GPS had me about 10m away from where the cache was eventually found. TFTC, Biggles.
My fellow cacher Lelie van Dalen found this very quick.
On this busy AirPort. (LOL)
CO thanks.
Greetings from The Netherlands.

Greetings from The Netherlands.
Our last day in Karamea. The weather is not good for a big hike but perfect to find caches in and round Karamea.
Easy found. No muggles around.
Thanks CO

12974… Flew by, landed a quick find, checked in by signing the log just prior to departure, TFTC.
The GPS was putting me out in the middle of the road so do a manual search. was quickly in hand. TFTC
Last today. Had to explain to muggles what we were doing. They were very interested. They though we were looking for cell phone coverage. GPS's don't ring and annoy you. TFTC
Quick find. We were a bit nervous about the video surveillance. Took TB. TFTC
not a dnf, more did not start....a Golden Bay Airways plane within 20m of cache with pilote wandering around his toy, looks like waiting for his passenger/s. Could not attempt without compromising cache.
The departure lounge was empty and the Koru closed for the day. Back to the car I guess. Thanks holymu for placing this cache.

my gps wanted me over the fence. had a look in the rock garden, but with the wee room occupied, door open too. left it. I will return some time for the walk trail, so have another go then.
It was a wee while before we ventured to the correct location for this cache (actually a micro). There was some activity at the aerodrome today with a helicopter being prepared for takeoff. The office(?) was open, but fortunately there didn’t seem to be anyone in it. TFTC
2TF. Nice quick P & G at the airport, cache was in the first place I looked. We left a small Fishy TB here and I put it the baggie to make sure it wasnt overlooked. 40/41 caches found today. Thanks for the cache
A quick drive down to the Airport for another FTF at 12.09pm! Very quiet today so no real need for stealth but we did note the sign saying that we were under video surveillance!! TFTC.
