Missing. At the moment no plans to replace. Just wish people would show the same enthusiasm to picking up rubbish as they do to stealing caches.

I was determined to cache today, as it's the first of only two October blanks in my calendar, so l leapt at the opportunity to take the short trip to Warrandyte that LouiseAnn and I had been planning since our recent bike ride, but delayed due to the twin complications of car trouble and a federal poll. So with those solved and fine weather beckoning, it was time to go out and play...
I'd achieved my objective of picking up another Jasmer find this afternoon, but was happy to return to Adelaide Mountain so LouiseAnn could log that as well. On our way back to the car, we realized we'd parked right by this one, and wandered down to marvel at the little-white-ball-botherers for a nice quick bonus find. Thanks, Paul.

Since we'd parked the car right beside this cache, while we took a stroll Adelaide Mountain, it would have been silly not to grab this cache as well, so we did. We picked this cache up, at 2:47pm.
-nirgal- and I headed out to pick up a few caches we needed to tick off our 'placed month' caching calendar and a few other caches along the way. There were nearly 12000 steps for the day, and to me most of them felt like they were up hill, but we had a fun day, the weather was perfect and the caches were good too. Thanks for the cache Paul_the_Hippy.

Took the Mt Lofty walking trail with a short detour for this cache. Lots of action on the golf course but everyone was to busy hitting little white balls to notice me.
A quick find after an arvo drive, I would love to play this course one day! TFTC
Not much action on the other side of the fence, out with son Scotttiew on a fathers day cacheing run.
Haven't played for a while, I wonder what's now easier, finding golf balls or geocaches? Thanks Paul
This was an awkward hole to play. As we puttered around, the three roos in the gallery were curious but finally the flag was on the cache at 15:50. TFTC
I was out with Crusty K9 this morning, and we picked up this cache on our travels. tftc.
Crusty.

Found myself in Kangaroo Ground this afternoon and on the drive back home decided to take a detour to this area to see if I could find any of the caches which have been on my radar for a long time.
First cache found and after waiting for some golfers to play thru I then quickly made the find. Nice. TFTC Paul the Hippy

Went out for as geocaching walk this morning into Mt Lofty State Park, a nice 6 km round trip with lots of tranquillity and some magic views.
Started my journey here with a quick find.

TDC met up on our Monday night cache run. This week we made our way from the city, where we picked up a couple of freshly solved puzzles, then we headed across to the north eastern outer suburbs. Bikes were a must tonight and we ended doing quite a number of kilometers on the bikes. Lucky for us the weather was fine, although it did get a bit cool at Mt Lofty.
A good mixed bag of caches tonight with a couple of DNF's, a good mix of finds with a number of high DxT combo's found as well. All in all another fun and successful night and thanks to the CO's for their efforts in placing the caches we found.

Well, another week and another legendary Demolition Crew run. I was able this time, to meet up early with some of the crew, north of Melbourne to collect a few caches before heading in and starting on the Melbourne leg of the finds. We collected a few of the recent puzzles which we had solved in the Melbourne area on the night as well. A FTF was part of the mix as well. We met a little later with Quasar3671.
The night was highlighted by many high terrain and high difficulty caches, which included 4 tree climb caches...! In total 48 caches visited, 4 DNF's and a personal tally of 41 finds. A great night with lots of laughs, stories and great company.
Nice quick one before we headed off on the bikes. TFTC.

We were about to start a bike run in this area, so we stopped here for a quick find with a previous finder.

Now that all the hot weather is over, it was nice to have a cool night to cache in and around Melbourne with Blacklegend, Quasar3671 and Rebel Acts. There have been a few caches close to Rebel Acts home that have been bugging him for a while, so I decided to base The Demolition Crew's run around these caches as well as pick up a few of our recently solved puzzle caches in inner Melbourne. I started my run north of Melbourne with Blacklegend, and when we noticed a FTF opportunity in Healesville that was still unfound a phone call was made and we were soon moving in that direction. We met up with Rebel Acts there as he had just finished work and we claimed the joint FTF. Soon after we then meeting up with Q3 after he had finished work and started the planned run
Over the course of the day/night run, 48 caches were visited with 4 DNF's and a DxT rating of 4.21 with quite a number of T5's being claimed. The number of unfound caches within 25 km's of home is now signficantly diminished, so another great night for me!
Thanks goes to all the CO's who have put the time into designing and placing their caches. I look forward to next Monday night / Tuesday morning when we will do it all again!

On my way past heading to the river with Snap happy to go for a paddle and grab a couple of water caches this afternoon. A nice straight forward find in a lovely part of the world, come on who wouldn't wanna play here. Thanks Paul the Hippy for the cache.

Cache for the day was this one. Got to area and realised that it wasn't loaded onto my GPSr, so whipped out phone and got co-ordinates, punched into GPSr and headed that way. First I thought that the hint related to the BBQ that was underway in the Golf Course, and wondered how I was going to hunt next door to such a busy spot, then looked and realised there was some distance to go yet. Had to outwait numerous golfers, but a pleasant spot to stand and check out the golf club and helicopter that was there. Now I don't play golf, so not sure why the guy went over, picked up his ball and then ran back to his mates. Anyway, found the cache, signed log, returned and went home.
Thanks for the cache Paul.

Quick find today, love this spot, the roos are always here sleeping on the hill in the day. Tftc
