After completing the Adlabs challenge, I decided to embark on this feature of human misery, I mean, marvel. Yes, I could have driven around and taken the easy option. But alas, I decided to climb all 8342 of those stairs, well it felt like that many to me. When I finally reached the top, I was also reaching for the defibrillator Jokes aside, what an amazing view. Cache found in great order.
After enjoying a picnic lunch at the lookout we made the short walk to gz to make a quick find. Nice views of the river. Thanks Mebclever for the placement.
Today we headed out of town to Wentworth and then worked our way back through Merbein and surrounds to Mildura. It was a clear sunny day, but wind kept the temperatures down and at time we were greatful to be in the car. Some lovely scenery was encountered from desert like scrub through farming land and the banks of the Murray. We managed Earthcaches, a Wherigo, multis and trads as well as puzzles. We also encountered a number of great cache containers.A busy but enjoyable day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Mebclever.**SKI Pair****

Found while having a look around the area today, staying in Mildura for the week. An interesting spot, took a bit of a search to locate. Cheers.Find #6924 on 17 Apr 2024.TFTC Mebclever!
Well my co ords had me 8 meters away from gz. found with the hint. Nice park. Out with Mogni for a 3 day weekend, leaving friday morning and coming back sunday night. The plan was to go to Cowangie in Victoria and then head in to Murray-Sunset National Park then head on to Mildura and come back via Rufus River road ( in New South Wales ) to South Australia. Night 1 was in the Murray-Sunset National Park at Mopoke Hut camp ground and Night 2 at Mildura then going back to Adelaide. It must have rained recently in Murray-Sunset since the sand wasn't like fine power as expected and other sections of the National park had bypass tracks around the water filled ruts in the main track. Going around one of the bypass tracks i staked a tyre on the friday but didn't notice it to saturday morning. The stake went right beside the tread and the inside wall of the tyre, the stake was the size of my finger tip. Also turns out that i got a screw in my rear tyre thrusday night leaving work. There was alot of reinflating tyres this trip. The flora change in the national park was surprising but i figured that is due to weather or not the ground was sandy or muddy. When we got to Mildura we targeted the 2 multi's mogni wanted to do and of course they were the ones with 7 and 11 stages. After that we targeted the caches with high amount of favourite points and then left the next day via New South Wales so we could get the virtual at Lake Victoria and some of the older 2003 around the border track. A good weekend away 4x4ing.
Sir_spectre and I decided we needed to get away for a few days, so off to Murray Sunset NP and Mildura we went. Not a huge number of caches were found, but we had a great time exploring the NP. We fixed anything we could. Thanks to Mebclever from mogni

Having finished the Paddlesteamer (and many other great caches) it was time for some of our crew to start the trek back home. Caching today with a smaller crew - Joolay, KittyKatch, Albida33 and GLISS! Continue to by impressed by the vast open scenery and beautiful waterways. Thanks for all the hard work from COs make and maintain these caches. Thanks for a great weekend everyone. Thanks for the cache.
Southern Autumn adventure Day 55. Mildura Paddle Steamer Trip Day 4. The final day with my Canberra friends in Mildura rolled around. Today the team was five of us, Nibletricecakes, Gliss!, Kitty Katch, Joolay and Albida33. We set ourselves to visit caches spread out around town and some short riverside walks. There was quite a bit of rain, so some of the riverside drives were not an option. It turned into another long day, but some of the multi's we managed to complete were very satisfying. There was also some time for some LAB caches as well.
We ended up in Merebin for lunch and managed to do a few multis and caches with the rain ongoing.
Thanks for the cache Mebclever

Back in town for a quick evening of caching after being out at the paddle steamer series all day! A quick find here once I was looking in the correct location
This one took a while to find- gps bounced around a lot on my phone.
Eventually spotted it via a process of elimination!

Continuing our trip from Melbourne to Darwin and back, we are now on our way back home and staying out our nieces place in Mildura for a couple of days catching up with life in general. We are doing a little sightseeing and geocaching along the way but mostly just chewing the fat...
Came for a drive up to Wentworth today and grabbed this one on the way.

Full time nomads visiting Mildura to finally tackle the Paddle Steamer with iluvtrekking. Of course we have to stop in town and find some caches here before we go 'bush'. Great weather and a fun day out today, good company with lots of laughs and ooh ahhh at the clever caches we found. Plenty of fave point to give out today.

Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure, yes I know we have wandered over the border. Never mind, it is a wonderful day and we have joined forces with FelixII so we are off to see what we can find. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.
Day 4 of my 5 day Geocaching long weekend away. This would be Find Number 6 of 31 for the day.
One last cache before returning to Mildura for Breakfast. Great views from up here. Coords were a bit off so spent a bit of time looking in the wrong spots but got it in the end.

After attending the International Geocaching Day Celebration Event this evening, then walking the Billabong with AnyMules, KiwiOzzie & Trigger_Fish, we were not ready to call it a night quite yet so we continued our adventure later into the night.
I do like night caching as it gives you a different perspective, with different sounds, scents and shadows. The stars were shining brightly tonight.
The cache was eventually located after an extra long search, the logbook stamped & the cache placed back as found.

Spending a few days in Mildura, joined by the rest of the Goldy clan for a family getaway.
We've been coming here since our first visit in 2008, it's a Goldy family favourite so I'm excited for the opportunity to find a few geocaches here and in some of the surrounding towns.
I'm also looking forward to experiencing some different hides in another state, as all my finds so far have been in South Australia.
I won't be able to get to all the caches due to having other plans with family, family always comes first.
So a high majority of caches on the "to be found" list are ones where I can learn local history and ones that are relatively quick and easy.
I've been primarily eyeing off the turtle series geoart and adventure labs.
A few places to look, after searching around in a few different places I eventually spotted it.
Put my signature in the log book and returned the cache to its hiding spot.
Signed as "P.Goldy"
Thanks to Mebclever for this cache.

#13026 - 10:38:00 AM; Day 4 of the Wang Mega tour with Sol de lune. Made it to Mildura last night and after a good feed and a good night's sleep, "The Turtle Series". An early start and we were soon in position to begin the hunt. Parked the geomobuile and set off knocking over some smaller sections and some larger sections as we moved through the various locations. Completed most of the mission today on foot as we weren't in 4WD mode and much of the area was out of bounds to vehicles in any event. Took a short detour as we repositioned ourselves to attck the next section, to log this nicely concealed cache! TFTC Mebclever
After a couple of great days in and around Wang at the Mega, followed by a drive to Echuca, LuckyL10n and I were now in Mildura. LL has some business to attend to, however with time before and after meetings we set on the path of the 'Turtle' and other caches that we passed by.
We headed down to this lookout for a couple, as well as a GCA trig. No issues with any of them and our names were soon in the log book.
Thanks for this one mebclever....

This was a great opportunity to get away with some caching friends in Mildura. The plan was to hit some of the local trails and geo art. There was many other hides discovered, with some really great containers and hides in the area.
A nice area for a cache.
Thanks Mebclever for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Here in Mildura for a few days with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet and Happy Pants.
Once we'd finished finding the nearby turtle series geoart, we were keen to keep on caching into the late afternoon, then on and into the night. "There's another one over here" was the saying heard most today. We found a plethora of different cache types, hide styles and were happily perplexed at some GZs! Thanks for the cache Mebclever.

With our Nav way off, we checked the hint and found , very sweet spot. Thanks for taking us here
Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.
We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.
We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity. We signed most logbooks 'B.E.F.W.'
It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Brisal5, e.gregory1 and Team Waldron with the main aim to complete the Paddle Steamer and Turtle GeoArt series but also to find other caches along the way. We camped out on the banks of the Murray River near Mildura on the first night, at Rocket Lake campground in the Murray-Sunset National Park on the second night, then back to the banks of the Murray River near Merbein on the last night. We signed the logs as B.E.F.W. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the cache!

I have seen a T shirt with Sleep Eat Cache Repeat [^] Well a four day trip to Mildura with caching friends Team Waldron, E.gregory and FeatherWaite certainly fit that bill. Logs were signed with initials only for the teams - BEFW
Up at daybreak, quick breakfast and cache all day stopping only to have a snack whilst out on the trails, rush to set up camp near dusk for a meal, then perhaps some night caching, early night and REPEAT!
Strategic camping at Kings Billabong, Rocket lake and The Common meant we were close by the Geoart and target night caches. Two previous trips in 2013 and 2016 by me and some by E.gregory meant we visited some (well quite a few actually) previous finds but that made it quick for the people that hadn't found them previously.
I can't thank the CO's of these caches enough as some were really very inventive. Even having solved most puzzles before we came we were confronted with field puzzles and gadgets that were just mind boggling. [:X][:X][:X]
***Thanks Mebclever for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Good find! Nav wasn’t loading correctly but with a bit of sleuthing miss 13 found it!
Fantastic - great spot. Mildura heat! Cracked 40 degrees out on the bike but some tree cover and tragic obsessive behaviour had me locating a few more caches - and that’s after the 6th puncture! So just a few more before departure to Melbs to collect car and then maybe head home to NE Vic IF the roads are open. Thanks to the Mildura CO’s for so many fun, interesting and challenging caches. Cache heaven! TFTC
Suscoe and Phetlern headed out today for an adventure to the west of Mildura out through Merbien, Wentworth and a bit further out to Fort Courage.
Another wonderful day in the Mildura region.
Clear skies, lovely sunshine, lots of caches to search for and great company.
What more could you wish for.
Thanks to Mebclever for this hide.
Mr. S found this one to the rattles of the bottling plant ringing out loud and clear.
Pretty good views too.

Off on a road trip to the Silo Art tour Vic, Mildura, Goolwa SA, Maitland SA and then home via Murray Bridge, Naracoorte, and the Grampians, picking up some caches along the way as we see the sights. We have arrived at the next stop on our trip, Mildura. We had been over to the lookout a couple of days ago but did not have time to do the cliff top walk so returned today with the geo Sister and geo Brother-in-law to do the walk. While the GPS had us all looking in different spots it was the geo Brother-in -Law who made the find. TFTC and brining us to this great walking track.
Found by Mary and David at 10:55:00. Great views along a great walk. Took a couple of circuits of GZ to spot the container, but not at the first three or four places we checked. Our thanks to Mebclever.
Although the hint was there i still struggled with this one. After about 10 minutes easily, i eventually spotted it... yep, tricky indeed.

Approached this one from the cache close to the river and of course I was somewhat challenged when watched the GPS compass needle swing toward a rather long set of stairs. So up I went and I was glad that I found the cache after that. TFTC.
