A sunny morning in Ngruawahia, rattll and I got some coffee and bakery goodness to enjoy by the river. Making the most of the picnic table to enjoy our breakfast, we were able to pick our time to search GZ when the coast was clear. Having failed to find this one previously, it was great to locate the cache tucked away. All in good condition, signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
This is my third time looking for this one, and I must admit, when matagouri suggested we have another go, I wasn't optimistic about finding it. In fact I was still finishing my coffee when matagouri wandered over and found it almost straight away. Well, it feels pretty good to finally be able to change the blue face to a smiley one. Some great views on a sunny day today. Thanks for setting this up.
Unfortunately couldnt find this one. Its pretty wet and messy around the tree so not sure if its washed down again or if we looked in the wrong spot.
Lost my original account (Ash2244) so i have to refind some. lucky i had only had 7 finds tho so shouldn't be to hard. TFTC
A nice easy find while out on a drive. Not too many muggles around, despite it being nice weather on a long weekend. Cache was quite out in the open so was quickly spotted, put it back under a little bit more camo. Tftc
Collected the information needed for the adventure lab, did a bit of exercise and on our way back to the car stopped off to grab this cache. No problems with the find. Thanks for replacing and thanks for the views. A lovely walkway reminds me a little of my home town.
I came hunting for this on the 25 may. I thought i had a good hunt and fossick for this, took a break and did a workout on the nearby exercise equipment and came back for a second hunt. I took a walk along the river in the opposite direction and found some more gym equipment and did a lengthly session there too. Despite going back for a third hunt this cache has totally alluded me and im blaming you for my aching muscles now.
After a long week at work I treated myself to a morning walk from Ngāruawāhia to as far as my legs wanted to go.
Too good a hide for me today.
Thanks McCutchan Cache Clan

Nice quick find, good coords. it wasn't well covered so we gave it a bit more cover. Tftc
A nice quick find while completing the Health Station Adventure Lab.
The walkway was very quiet and we could find, sign and return the cache with no issues.
It was a bit exposed so we added some natural camo.
A nice spot for a cache, thanks for the placement.

A nice quick find today. Last time we were here we could not find it. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland to visit family. Today we cruised around the Hamilton area for a bit. The thunder rattled occaissionally and the rain teemed down at one stage.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

Tftc, went to location twice today as couldn't find the first time, but we eventually found it.
tried to replace, but muggles at a bench right next to GZ just would not leave...
Hi McCutchan Cache Clan
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Was out with Team SEAC on another adventure. Riding this route was in the making for a while but due to weather conditions, we had to put it off another month, till today!

A sizeable group of Team SEAC had decided to bike the first stage of the Te Awa Bike Ride from Ngaruawahia to the Botanical Gardens in Hamilton. This was our second attempt, as some particularly nasty weather thwarted our previous attempt before we even got started. Luckily, today the weather played ball and we enjoyed a pleasant day's bike ride along the mighty Waikato River.
Sorry that I am not able to post my usual stories about each and every cache that we came across, but I am too buggered after the ride. So generic logs it is this time. We still appreciate all the work that goes into the caches that we found, and thank the COs for planting the caches along this lovely track. We really enjoyed the bike ride and the caching.
Unfortunately, after searching for quite a while, we came up empty-handed on this one.

Didn't find today. Thought it was a mug sitting in the crook of the tree. Alas.
Looks like the tree it was hidden beside has been pruned recently. No sign of the hide. Nice wee spot to take in the river.
Our minis are at camp for 10 days and have a visitors day on the sunday so after stopping by to have lunch with them NZIceman and I stopped along the way for some caches 'on the way home'.
Came across the cache sitting on leaf litter so assumed thats not quite where it was meant to be. Signed log and placed at base of with a bit of leaf cover to hide it.
Thanks for the cache.

A nice rainy afternoon to find a cache... This one took me way longer than it should have to find but got there in the end. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its spot all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
Decided to also add this cache to our list as it was close to the adventure lab we are working out. GigiEV was sent in to find it as her back works better than her old mums. TFTC
I was sent in here to retrieve this one today while we were completing the nearby adventure lab. A foggy day here today TFTC
Out for a stroll to complete the Adventure Lab with Merlot58 and Nette, we were walking right passed this one. Quick find here of the cache. Hope it doesn't roll down the hill! TFTC
We were walking along the river doing the Ad Lab so it would have been remiss not to collect this cache as well.
Great view of the river. Easy find as no natural camo left so replaced to hide. TFTC
Nothing at GZ so popped in a temporary cache until the CO can replace. Hope that's OK. Will sign again when replaced. TFTC.
Another find in Ngaruawahia for me today. Biked 21km in the area! So much fan cycling here to cache location! T4TC
I just parked and my phone beeped. It was logs on some of the caches I watch up north. I began reading them which was just as well because a short but heavy shower passed over while I did this. I thought of my friends on the trail. Walking in wet clothes isn't much fun but apparently they didn't get too wet.
With the shower over I strolled over to gz and made a quick find. I admired the river view while signing the log, TFTC

Captains Log #2
After being successfully taken to the wrong Esplanade by my comrade we finally arrived at the correct spot for searching. After what seemed like minutes of searching and sifting through natural camouflage, we spotted a familiar looking cache. A job well done, with a stunning view of the river to finish with.

Easy find on an evening with strange yellow light due to ash cloud from Australian bush fires. TFTC
. Another day in Hamilton clearing a few new caches and clearing a couple of DNFs Great day and thanks to all the COs. On the way back home and clearing some more in Ngaruawahia. Thanks for replacing TFTC
#632. I am moving on from working in Ngaruawahia, so trying to finish a few more of the local caches at lunch time. I have enjoyed the river walk. Pleased to see a find on this one recently, went and had another look and made a quick find. Signed the new log.
