Nest stop along the road, but alas no joy finding the cache. Looked in a few of the usual spots but nothing could be found.
Thanks anyway stashaa....might need a check.

Very interesting. Location had a really good look here but sorry I’m gonna have to do an app
Again I found myself moping about at home trying to decide which boring chore I should tackle next. Instead I browsed through the geocache website and made a decision to tackle the 28 day streak, this months challenge souvenir. So it looks like I will have plenty of caching trips away over the next few weeks. I had so much fun on a recent trip to Mt Beckworth and another to do feathertops letterbox series that I decided to head down this way again. With no particular targets in mind I simply tackled the first I came across.
After an initial scout around with no success I read the description and some past logs. There was not much to go on but I had a good look and widened my search considerably but still came up empty handed.

Searched around in the rain, found what may have been the container (or not).
Got wet but no cache.

Tftc was nowhere to be found looks like someone has stolen it there were empty containers everywhere
TFTC. Heading back home after a finding a couple of caches head Newlyn . Stopped here , in a nice quiet spot for an easy find.
Heading to Creswick to attend a CITO and Event and grab a few caches on route with Simsfamily and Neville Devil.
It's quite easy to get tangled up in there, but did stop making the find.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache stashaa

Thanks for the awesome cache. Dropping through from Ballarat thought I'd clean some caches up. All looks to be in good order!
This one took a few minutes as the GPS bounced around. The kids loved the secret hideout feel this one had. TFTC
We were out and about in the Ballarat area today caching on our last day before we head back home to Tassie. We've really enjoyed our caching experiences and we were glad to be able to fill in another area on the map. TFTC
Found on our way home from Creswick. There always is time for 1 more.
Good name for cache and good spot.
Signed and replaced. TFTC

A good name for the cache and a fitting spot as long as you don't poke your eye out. I looked in the obvious place but failed to peek far enough behind a particular object. Five minutes later geowife went to same place and leaned over a bit further and Whammo, there it was. Thanks.
We didn't get tangled but only just managed to avoid getting scratched,
What a neat little hideaway.
I'm guessing this was the original alignment of this road.
TFTC stashaa.

Nice little cubby hole.
Thank you for placing and maintaining this Regular geocache for us to find, stashaa.

Aptly named cache - not so much for what is nearby but more so for what "guards" the cache!

Sent my geocaching partner in after this one and fortunately he didn't get tangled.

Woo Hoo!!! Your cache is 200 for us. Nice, easy pick up on the way home from Creswick. Thank you so much for the cache.
Found this on my way back to Daylesford after doing the Christmas Down Under caches. Cheers and TFTC
Didn't get tangled, but got stuck and scratched a fair bit but I found the cache so I am happy. TFTC.
Away for a long weekend of caching with Freddo and Four Fun.
Over 300 caches in 4 days means that the logs will be mainly generic.
The main target of our mission was to finish off the Mt Disappointment series. We achieved our target along with other caches as we headed east and then west.
My apologies for the generic logs.

Away for an extended long weekend of caching with Freddo and Team Waldron.
The main target was the Dad's Driving Series, and it was definately a fun exercise collecting the series but with that completed we focused on some other caches and making our way back to SA, very slowly [^]
This was one of the fun stops along the way
Cheers & TFTH stashaa

Cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for a fun cache guys.
au.fait and Bushfire left Geelong at 8.30am on a very cold, windy and wet morning to attend an CITO event in Napoleans to help the local Land Care Group plant 360 young trees and grasses, place the tree guards around them to keep the local rabbits away.
After changing a previous DNF into a smiley out this way this guy was next on our list and after a few finds and on arriving the prize was soon ours. With log signed it was onto the next on our list.
Thanks again stashaa.

Headed off early to meet up with Bushfire by 8.30. Our aim was to attend the CITO at Union Jack Creek where we the group planted and protected 350 trees which was a mighty effort. Following the BBQ we then headed to the Creswick area for some caching. We dodged some heavy showers while driving but were able to cache in better conditions. A quick find in a magnificent location TFTC Thanks stashaa
This search took a little while. Initially the GPS was a little vague and we looked at a number of locations while trying to avoid being tangled or spiked. Found the container in the end and SL. TFTC
Found. I was a bit worried when I saw where GZ was but the area was actually fairly clear once I was up close to the hide. TFTC
Found while visiting the Tangled Maze on a school trip. We did everything from the maze and mini golf to the fake ice skating and the kiddies rope course.
If your an adult don't let it stop you from doing the rope course. It is lots of fun.
You can also buy plants and seeds or visit the cafe or gardens.
A very interesting hide spot in the old trees. TFTC

The GeoFamily headed off to Ballarat for a mini-holiday over the Easter weekend, and to explore more of the area than what we normally see when we're up this way (usually to go to Sovereign Hill).
We started day two of our mini-holiday with a wander around the maze. We're quite methodical with mazes so we found everything relatively quickly before heading for this cache. The phone GPS was bouncing all over the place, so we split up to search likely places. The youngest GeoKid found this one.
Log signed and all replaced as found.

Thanks for the cache. A great simple snatch and grab to get this little geo adventure underway.
Found by Team GeoCoopers.
Stopped in to get wet and tangled in the maze nearby.
Thanks Stashaa.

We pulled up across the road for this one and suddenly noticed we had mobile coverage that wasn't there a minute ago. Dad of the sims and Neville-devil set to work catching up on logs, while mum took the younger kids over to have a look for what promised to be an easy find for them. They were indeed on it in no time, and we went back to the car to sign the log and check out the swaps. We were limited in what we had with us to exchange today, so ended up leaving everything as was. All the little ones had to make the trip back to return the cache, deeming it to be a very cool hiding place. We didn't have time to visit the maze today, but are having thoughts of returning to see it. Looks like fun! Thanks stashaa for a fun cache and for showing us a place we would not have known about otherwise.

Accurate coordinates and a common style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks stashas for the cache.
TFTC. Out for the day with Jaggedwings and co to nab a few smilies and came across this one pretty quickly. Luckily I could follow the geo trail in as it's pretty hairy down here. I wonder if the nearby maze is this tangly?
Well i got tangled alright. Disadvantage of having hair. My male co cachers didn't seem to have the same problem. TFTC
Almost got tangled looking for the cache. Gps kept taking me to the wrong tree. Round and round looking up and down, phone a friend no she hasn't attempted this one. Let's try over here. Oh what's that...Bingo! Finally found it. Just missed the rain too, bonus. Last one after a day of caching. TFTC.
Late Entry: The end of a lovely day found us looking for this cache, in the dark, armed with torches, we made the find, signed and replaced, TFTC
What better way to spend Good Friday than caching in the area cleaning up some unfound caches and enjoying the lovely countryside.
After working out the likely tangled GZ we made the quick find and added our name to the log.
Thanks stashaa for the find.

"What a tangled web we weave " Felt like a fish caught in a net but managed to find the cache and get back virtually unscathed tftc
Day 3 camped at Creswick with Alansee, we headed out for a country drive, to grab some caches.
With a good variety of hides, most caches were found after short search.
Many thanks for placing this cache, stashaa, for us and others to find.

Found with The Drovers today. An easy find in a nice avenue of trees once we had the right spot.
Nothing gives more pleasure than finding a cache previously logged as a DNF, and this is no exception. Today was a very good day for me, in fact, successfully finding 4 previous DNFs and several others along the way. I found this one on my second visit. The first visit had me spending too much time looking around the wrong tree, though I *did* spend some time searching under the correct tree as well and have no idea how I could have missed what was a very easy find for me today! My 8yo also wants to tackle the maze now, so we'll probably return to the area for a totally different challenge again some time. Thanks for the cache stashaa!
Checked out several possible locations before we found it! Lovely, sheltered spot!
Great spot. Thank you for the travel bug minion, we will start his next adventure
This should have been easy, especially given the size, but I couldn't find it today after searching for about 15 minutes. This was my 4th DNF out of 10 caches attempted today, so I was either suffering from cache-blindness or jumping GPS-signal syndrome, or perhaps a little of both! Thanks for the hunt stashaa - another one to return to on a later day...
On our way to Echuca, great spot for a driving break and cache a quick find. TFTC.
Had to think about it but then went straight to it. A little hard to open the box. Otherwise great. Tftc
After looking around the wrong tree, dad looked around a different one and found it. Tftc
After looking up and down and all around we headed back to the road and everything changed!! We didn't think it would be in the middle of the road!! Sean.75 found it after deciding to try the other side of the road! Tftc and for giving us a reason to stop in this beautiful area.
We started off under the wrong tree! Lol! Found it eventually. Dropped off trackable. Tftc

Day tripping to Daylesford, had to get this one. The geocompass sent me on the wrong side of the road at first, then sent me to the middle of the road and then i used my wits put the phone away and the log was signed and on our way. Tftc
Our first find and our introduction to geocaching. So SO close to home and never had any idea that a treasure was hidden there! May that be the first find of a thousand more.
Staying a few days in Creswick on our tour of Australia.
Headed out today to explore the local area.

Found by Team Ladava on a glorious winter day.
Team Ladava has had something of a drought in finds so far this year while publishing a number of fresh offerings in the Sunbury area but today was the day to go and find a few.
Wasn't quite in the spot the GPS'r indicated but widened the search area and soon had the prize in hand.
Last on for the day before heading for home
Took nothing
Left a couple of extra trinkets for the kids.
Our thanks to stashaa for the cache and bringing us to this location.
Cheers
