### **MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###
This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility and includes regular visits to the cache to ensure it is in proper working order, especially when a seeker reports a problem with the cache.

Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, have a read here: [Cache Maintenance Guidelines.](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) The guidelines advise; **if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can.** This Help Centre article tells you how it can be done; [Temporarily Disable and Enable.]( http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 )

**Please respond to this situation within 28 days - so as to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.** Sad

If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and indicating how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned and archived without further notice.

**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable ](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

Heading to Mildura with Clare007 and HevWalker for a couple of events and a couple of days caching. [^] After a particularly NON restful night at Berri that included a noisy fire alarm due to two fires, an evacuation for an hour, firies police and not much sleep. And I was the lucky one. Surprised The ladies had intruders, smoke inhalation and two changes of rooms as well. Razz But after a hearty breakfast it was finally time for some caching. Cool
After spending too long caching and not taking into account the time difference after crossing the border we were about 30 minutes late for the event. Twisted But after a hot lunch it was time for some more caching until the next event for dinner. [^]
Epic fail for us today. You pwned us noobs. Sad
Although armed with a hint we couldn't find it. I guess there will be no french gastropods on my pizza tonight. Surprised

09-Jul-16
With brisal5 & clare007...we searched for ages for this one...far too long really...but could not find it...a lovely area though so it was nice to visit & take some photos...thanks

09-Jul-16
We weren't happy to have to walk away with a DNF before the event.
brisal5, hevwalker & I were told on good authority that the item we seek is no longer there...
It seems this needs to be confirmed by the CO, thanks for an interesting historic spot TheVersteegs

07-Jul-16
E gave it our best shot it will have to come back another day

05-Jul-16
Too good for us today. Nice location and interesting about the water troughs

26-Jun-16
We had such a doh moment after this one was spotted after taking too long with the find, we just could not seem to get our gps closer than 4m but in the end it was still close enough we just didn't pay closer attention, thanks TheVersteegs for the cunning but simple little hide.

17-Jun-16
Finally! after meeting Beetles2 in Broken Hill whilst scouting out another cache I was given a clue by them which allowed me to quickly grab this cache when passing back through Mildura on my way to Melbourne. This has been one of my most frustrating finds but I it was a great part of my Sunraysia caching experience.
Thanks TheVersteegs for a cache that truly deceived me.

31-May-16
Great to read the info about the trough. I wonder if anyone has created a database of the troughs still on display in public places ( have seen a few on our travels in other parts of Australia). Could go round and round looking for this one, but for me it was as fast as a hare! Just a lucky find. TFTCC!

31-May-16
Search of the internet for further information on the Annis and George Bills troughs gave lots of information including the following site. Blog writer keen to get photos of troughs in other locations.

I have been back 2 times. ~20 mins each time. Cannot find. This one must be tricky

10-May-16
A very clever little hide. TFTC

19-Apr-16
Awesome! Loved this one. Took a while but worth it. TFTC

28-Mar-16
Had 3 of us searching for about 10 mins but couldn't find it. Then Geodad went back later to have another look and found it - very sneaky and not what we were expecting.

28-Mar-16
Geo husband looked for ages! Geo wife came straight over and bang!!! Good hide!

24-Mar-16
Finally upgraded to premium member, back logging these logs Smile
Have been to this cache twice with Lord Rossatron - the first time we couldnt find it at all... we were looking everywhere and then got chased out by a wasp -_- We returned a couple weeks later and there was a wedding happening, I didnt want to go in while the wedding was happening but Ross said 'Nah come on, we will be over the opposite side to them' so off we go, heading in and after 15-20 minutes or so what it felt like, We found it!! Smile Sneaky cache. TFTC

18-Mar-16
This was the second time looking for this one and this time we managed to find it, last time we had to give up quickly as there were a few wasps hanging around GZ. Was a bitter sweet moment when I finally found it, Yay a smiley, Damn I just started to build one just like it. Oh well, will use the container for another cache some day. I forgot to bring a pen with me again so I haven't signed the log but took a photo if cache owner would like proof of us finding it. Great cache, is getting a little broken though

31-Dec-15
Now that's a clever geocache! We replaced the plastic bag as it was a bit worse for wear, otherwise this cache was in great condition. Thanks to Geo-teen for her curious questions that prompted this find. TFTC!

31-Dec-15
What a well hidden find. If it wasn't for Geo-teen and Kelligula I would never have found it. Fantastic cache to end the year with TFTC Smile

30-Dec-15
Camping at the Apex Park, we set out for a day of caching in Mildura and surroundings. This was the nearest one, so we started here. Unfortunately we did not succeed in finding it, and having read previous logs we think we may have touched it without knowing. We were also continuously interrupted in our search by muggles, one of which being a lady circling around and taking pictures of more or less everything around the buildings.

01-Dec-15
By chance I happened to be doing some business with the owner of this cache. When I expressed my frustration at not being able to find this cache on several occasions, the owner provided me with an additional cryptic clue. The clue enabled me to view the surrounds through a different perspective and within a few minutes I had located this elusive cache. Very satisfying. TFTC.

DNF with FUF009 at 5.10pm

Heading up to Mildura for the Annual Port to Port Bicycle Ride Weekend and done some caching along the way. We have now made it to Mildura, booked into the Motel, had a rather late lunch, done some shopping, then it was off caching again.

Our second DNF for the day. Three sets of eyes looked everywhere but naturally not in the right place as we did not find it today.

27-Sep-15
No luck for us here today, spent nearly 20mins looking.

27-Sep-15
Well, early in the morning we came here with 5 of us and we couldn't find it after 20 minutes so we left. Later in the day I came back and spent 30 more minutes and finally in a moment of frustration I found it!
Thanks for a great cache and the challenge!

13-Sep-15
Another one we visited yesterday but there was a wedding happening here and it was hard to search for too long without being suspicious. Our short search was accompanied by some great music though! Returned this morning and blow me down the place was alive with muggles cleaning up from the wedding. As we were leaving Mildura and all its wonderful caches today we decided to just go for it. Had all but given up when Mr Beetle found it. It was definitely not what we thought it was going to be. Mr Beetle decided he was a brilliant geocacher after this one but was soon brought back to earth at the next cache, supposedly an easy one, that we DNF'd. Thanks.

Find #6079

Today was day eight of the ahomburg and sharkiefan 2015 road trip to South Australia. While not in South Australia anymore, it was the last day of our SA holiday, and needing around 40 finds to hit 1000 caches over the last nine days, we had high hopes. The weather was absolutely wonderful, we started in Mildura, followed by Swan Hill and finally onto Bendigo.

This one took quite some time, eventually after some help from a PAF, we located the crafty little cache about 8m from GZ

Thanks to TheVersteegs for the cache. TNLN

Most difficult! Had to PAF and then discovered it in probably not the intended place. Found with Ahomburg on our last day of a massive week long road trip. Tftc

14-Jun-15
Nice quick find and it gets a fav point from me as it was not what I expected and is a brave hide. TFTC

24-May-15
In Mildura for a brief holiday and having been beaten by this one previously we were determined to find this time. Had to phone a friend to read previous logs and got some great hints including it is NOT magnetic anymore.... Once I knew this I change my thinking and made a quick find.
Thanks for the challenge.

10-May-15
Woah! This one took some time! We had six pairs of eyes searching for sometime. We had our hands everywhere over GZ. In fact, as others have said before, I actually picked this one up and discarded it before several minutes later Mr McLooker took a closer look and the log revealed itself. Thanks for the hunt.

We had spent quite a bit of time looking for this cache, almost calling it quits. We read the previous logs and we agree with them all!!! This is a very tricky, tricky camo. We had all looked at the cache but didn't realise what we were actually seeing!! A brilliant camo and cache that I would love to give a favourite to but I have none left!! Thanks TheVersteegs, love your work!

10-May-15
I've gained a favourite point, I am granting it now. Fantastic hide.

10-May-15
Thanks for this one, cool one. Very hard. Put our hand on it a couple of times but didn't realise the cache was there. Geodad made the find. A favourite.

09-May-15
Staying in Mildura tonight as part of our holiday and decided to get in a bit of afternoon caching. The sun had gone down by the time we got to this one, so I'm not sure if searching by torchlight made it any harder or any easier. We both had a good look around, searching the obvious spots, then the less obvious spots, then the downright ridiculous spots, and still nothing! We spent a good half hour scratching our heads, and Mr2max was starting to wander off and look at other things in the torchlight, but I wasn't giving up! I eventually made the find, and both of us agreed we'd looked at it and dismissed it several times already during our search! Just goes to show you ?? Our thanks to you TheVersteegs for such a clever hide. SL

29-Apr-15
Very tricky; anyone who has posted a DNF will kick themselves when they have another go. Cache is still magnetic, but only weak and on one side. definitely a favourite.

10-Apr-15
Took a little bit of searching around for this one. Finally spotted but not quite sure if it was really the cache until we had it in our hand. Ignore the description, it is no longer magnetic.

This is one of my favourite sayings, especially about some of my students. We did a cache a couple of days ago about these ubiquitous water troughs, thanks for showing us another one. Nice hide!

Cat family searched long and hard for this one but gave up in the end no idea

12-Mar-15
Not sure its there

No luck on the first attempt while cycling in that vicinity. I'll take another pair of eyes and try again soon. The fence clue confuses me. It's a magnetic cache but the adjacent fence is wooden.

09-Sep-14
Not having much luck in Mildura, interesting area but no cache to be had.

12-Jul-14
Out for the day geocaching with geocarterx4. Tricky tricky really like this one. Took us a bit to find TFTC Smile

12-Jul-14
TFTC wow that was no6 nothing is what it seem that's the best find of all of ours

11-Jul-14
727. An nice area that we invested way too much time trying to find the cache. And once you invest too much time you feel obligated to invest more so that the first bit doesn't go to waste. In this case it did. Failed!

11-Jul-14
Had a pretty thorough look around the fence but too good for us today.

10-Jul-14
thank you very much for replacing the cache! i came back, looked around for a while and... is that...? is it really? yes, it is! Very Happy nicely hidden, i liked it a lot. i had heard about caches like this but never found one myself. TFTC + fav. point!

22-Jun-14
i read the DNF logs when i was already looking for the cache. couldn't find it either.

07-Jun-14
Looked all over this item but kept getting muggled out. Probably wouldn't have found it anyway, according to a few of the logs, it's a peach of a hide.
Thanks anyway TheVersteegs, a beautifully recreated site here

07-Jun-14
Not put off with the previous DNF's Bogonghazy decided to have a crack at this. Alas, we too had no joy here today. Thanks to TheVersteegs for the hunt though.

South Australian OZ Mega 2014 in Murray Bridge. A Twelve day trip to and from the mega. Plenty of caching along the way and near Murray bridge. A great time with lots of cachers all over the place to make for a very entertaining period.

This spot was another fun surprise I have not been to before, a pity I could not locate the cache. Thanks.

Here from Canada, caching our way across Australia....

Had a good look for this one but unfortuately came up empty handed. Such an interesting place. We enjoyed a look around the property after we gave up on our search. Learned a bit of history.

Thanks anyways TheVersteegs

I was struggling to find this when my Geowife (who doesn't Geo very much but is very good at it!) exclaimed that she had found it. A clever hide, although I don't think that the clue is accurate. TFTC

Reperio at 1310.

Headed to Mildura today for a day of caching, and with the day forecast to be warm...I got off to an early start. I was probably fortunate that it was so hot today as there were very few muggles around...so after a brief search, the sneaky little cache was spotted. Haven't seen one of these used for a while actually.

Gratias TheVersteegs.

Found by Roma and Max.
A visit to our Mildura family provided us with the opportunity to seek some local hides in between our festivities.
What a great place to bring geosearchers to, so much to see relating to this districts history, and our last visit here was to take some photos of a friends wedding party in the nearby garden setting!
Found you cunning little container where we expected it to be but not quite how we expected it to be attached!
Thanks again Versteegs.
Regards,
from Romax.

Got off our paddleboat for a quick look while waiting for the lock. Decided it was too hard in the time we had. Maybe next time.

# 5500. Travelling around Mildura with Robmc and hoping to find some of the caches in town. Our success was mainly before lunch. After lunch caches were harder to find.

We had run into Jonlyn76 at the previous non-existent cache and they arrived here shortly after we did. I had spotted this as soon as we walked up but Rob poo-pooed my suggestion so I didn't pick it up. Eventually he handed it to me so I could tell him "I told you so". Have seen this type of hide occasionally this year. Nice one of course. I can see why people would miss it. After a few DNF's it was very nice to put a smilie on it. Replaced it where we found it but it may not be in your original, intended spot.

Thanks TheVersteegs

Found it while travelling thru Mildura TFTC

14-Dec-13
BettyBoo3747 and I toured a few of the caches in Mildura, had a big lunch, did a few more and then went swimming. Good day in all!
I have been to many of these horse troughs around the countryside. A great idea.
Sneaky little hide. (BB sent an email to you about it)
Thanks, Robmc.

09-Dec-13
It took us a while to find this cache and the light rain did not help. When we finally located it the pen would not work so our log looks like it has been done with a thumbnail dipped in tar. This is by far the best cache that we have found and should have a four or five star difficulty rating although it is so simple when you find it. Thanks for the cache.

14-Oct-13
Checked today after many DNF cache is still here. Smile

The FourW family have spent slot of time here at the homestead this weekend, we ran in the mallee12 fun run, then took a paddle steamer ride this afternoon. Should have checked the GPSr then, saving me a trip back this evening.
Clever little hide that should have struck me sooner, as I don't remember seeing those things all that often when we lived here a while back.

04-Jun-13
Fantastic camo. Reminiscent of that old cache at Jaycee Park, 'Evil,' and just as awesome. A favourite.

Thank you, TheVersteegs.

21-Apr-13
Found by locus_cache, CPwanderer and I, in the rain, and in the dark, on our trip to cache Mildura for three days. We looked in all the obvious spots for the obvious types of hides, but were pleasantly surprised by the eventual "container". Great hide. A well deserved favourite point from me. And now for some Indian for tea. TFTC.

21-Apr-13
I had the pleasure of the company of DennisC52 and CPwanderer for a caching trip to Mildura.
We saw lots of rain, locus cache'd a few caches and all in all had a great day! Cool
How many times can I look at something and not work out the obvious[?]
About three or four but one of the boys looked once and realised what they were looking at [^]
Clever camo Twisted
