Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Robe for a few days to grab some finds. Beautiful winters day as we range to Rendelham and Beachport tidying up straggler caches. Indeed incredible views over town. Thanks for the hide. LNCU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are now based in beautiful Robe and exploring the wild coastline and countryside. Great views, TFTC. ??LNCU
Mrsogre had to stop and rest her creaky knees. Great view from the top over the lakes with swans cruising around.Tftc

nice stroll through the bush to this one and a good view at gz. quick find.
Out with Mogni for a extended weekend. We came down to Mount Gambier for Friday night and then Beachport for the second night. We came down for hevwalker's 60 th birthday. We cached our way down on the Friday and placed a few as well. We made it to Penola before the rain started non stop, up until then it was on and off. Saturday was worse in the day but the weather improved by night time. Sunday was easily the best day of the 3 days.

Great view of the lake systems & the coastline. Thanks for placing the cache here, we wouldn’t have visited without it. Definite favourite
We are travelling to the Rutherglen Mega. Today we looked around Robe, pleased that yesterday's chilly wind had stopped. Then we went to Beachport and finally Millicent. SOoooo many caches here, we only did a couple.
Thanks for bringing us here. Without Geocaching we wouldn't have found this view as well as a lovely walk through the trees.

Thanks Ronie and TG for bringing me here to enjoy the view. Worth the effort of the stairs.
Fantastic view and so was the walk but disappointed that no matter how much I crawled and scrambled through scrub looking forward and backward I couldn't find it
we found no one else here
no humans, no wombats, no birds
we found plenty of evidence of them:
neat stacks of brown cubes
a bird’s nest hidden in the tea trees
a bench and a cleared track
but no direct sightings
you would think that the evening of a public holiday would be a prime time to people to come and experience what is advertised as the incredible view
but the wombats must have been worn out from their morning of mourning and decided to head home to burrow early
whatever the cause, we are glad for the quietude
and glad for the treasure and the view

A bit of a walk for oldies like me and Grub62 but we managed to get to GZ and Grub62 made the find. Early morning looking into the sun from the lookout on what looks to be a great day. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
Out early today before it gets too hot for us and walking. It was a lovely walk up to the lookout. I found the cache first and soon had the log signed for both Bunadoorian and myself. TFTC and for bringing us here Ronie & TG
An afternoon wander to pick up a few stray caches with muggle hubby whilst the kids fished. This really is a magic view! Some locals here (mum and 4 kids) enjoying lunch so we explained caching to them and the kids enjoyed finding the cache. I think they are off to download the app! Ha ha. Thanks for the cache
A lovely spot for a stroll and after climbing up the stairs to the lookout I continued around the lake.
Easy find.

Post geoventure caching with Sebastbat, Jack, **JEM**, and Froghoppin, to clear some SE maps Mostly headed around Beachport today, but did get distracted a little [:o)]
Sorry for some fairly generic logs today, it's a lot to get logged on a night after so much driving around LOL But we certainly had a lot of fun finding each and every cache !
Thanks you for putting this cache out on the SE SA geomap Ronie & TG

All our Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

A lovely view indeed. Found we did indeed have to go backwards to go forwards.
With our last find a DNF we were very happy to find this good size container with incredible views.
Thanks Ronie & TG for the placement in this great bushland.

This weekend, jesswrigley and I headed to the limestone coast / south-east for some sightseeing, mountain biking, and sinkhole diving. On Friday night, we stayed at Robe, seeing the famous obelisk the following morning. We then drove through Little Dip Conservation Park to Beachport, then Rendelsham, Hatherleigh, and staying in Millicent. On Sunday, we checked out Tantanoola and the Tantanoola Caves, mountain biked through Mount Gambier Forest and Browns Lake area, and finally on Monday, we dived Kilsby Sinkhole before driving back Telford Scrub Conservation Reserve and Penola. A great long weekend of sunny weather.
Today, jesswrigley and I explored a bit around Robe, and then headed through Little Dip Conservation Park to see some of the amazing coastline and have sun fun no the beaches and sandy tracks. From there, we spent a bit of time in Beachport, enjoying an afternoon ice cream, and then continued the coastal road south briefly stopping in Rendelsham followed by Hatherleigh, and then then checked in our Millicent accommodation. We finished our day with a Mayura Station three course dinner.
I had visited here previously, and unfortunately had to leave with a DNF since the cache was confirmed to be indeed missing. With the CO's subsequent replacement, and an enjoyable walk around this lake, I brought back [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) to do the walk with me this time. The views were once again spectacular over the lake. As we caught our breath from the ascent, I started searching around, finding the cache reasonably quickly in a spot of many that I had searched last time. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Ronie & TG for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Nice to have finally converted this one from a frown to a smile. No wombats seen here today during our expedition.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

A fun weekend away with [@Davidwazza](http://coord.info/PR61VZX) exploring the great south east! TFTC!
The great Southeast Saunter with Anymules down to the Millicent area to find caches associated with the postponed GV2020 mega. But with leave organized and accommodation booked the caching trip was not postponed! [^]
Day 5: Today we set off in search of some more unusual D/T traditional combinations and so made our way to Beachport to cache around there. As usual there were plenty of stops along the way to grab other caches that we were passing.
What a great experience to get this cache. I really loved the walk in through the forest to where we got a glimpse of the lake. [^] Oh no...steps. Oh well get the fitness up. Up we went to get even better views of the lake and all the way back to Beachport. Really fantastic. Then we found the cache too. Made our way down and complete the loop. FP from me for the experience and views. [:X][:X]
***Thanks Ronie & TG for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Today JJ52 and I set out from Millicent together to find all the caches around south end and beachport, we thought it would take all day but we were done by lunch time so we headed over to kangaroo inn to find all the caches in the area before attending my event back in town. Almost 80 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Our daughter is visiting from Adelaide for a few days so we were showing her some of the local sites.
We had a delightful walk around Lake Woolley on the first day which seems to be heralding some nice Spring weather.
Many thanks for the hide Ronie & TG

Mr and Mrs Parrot are on a bit of R&R.
Really needed a break after the last few months and why not have a beachside break.
So heading out to Robe.
Going to check out some caches in the area and chill.
Which is easy to do given the temperature
My that was a great view

Found during a very enjoyable caching trip to the South-East of SA with e.gregory1 for a few days. On Day 1 we traveled to Robe via the coast road, Princes Highway, through Meningie, Salt Creek, Kingston SE and camping out for the night. On Day 2 we drove around Beachport to Millicent and completed the GV2020 puzzle series before resorting to cabin accommodation in Millicent due to deteriorating weather. On Day 3 we toured around Millicent, out to Kalangadoo to do the bottle component of the wine geo-art series (leaving the glass for another day), down to Mt Gambier and Port MacDonnell, then back for another night in the cabin. Day 4 saw us return home through Penola, Naracoorte and Keith and back along the Dukes Highway. Targeting a range of cache types (Traditional, Puzzles, Earthcaches, Multicaches, a Letterbox and a Virtual), a multiple of cache attributes, and a wide variety of Difficulty/Terrain combinations resulted in some quick drive-by’s, tackling the trails, some tree-climbing, often using elevation devices and enjoying some nice walks and great scenic coastal locations. Thanks for the cache Ronie & TG!
FeatherWaite and I thought we might chance our luck with the winter weather and head down to the south east for a few days of camping and caching. While the caching worked out well, the weather deteriorated quite a bit and we ended up having to abandon the camping idea after the first night and find ourselves a cabin for the next two. However, it did allow us to save some time and find a few more caches that we might otherwise have not got to in the time available.
After making our way down the Coorong, visiting a selection of targeted Traditionals, Multis and Earthcaches, we rolled out the swags on the first night under a beautiful clear (but cold) night sky near the coast south of Robe.
The following day we cached our way to and around Millicent until well after dark, picking up over 100 Traditional, Multi, Unknown, Virtual and Earthcaches, including the GV2020 geoart series, before settling into a cabin for the evening.
Another day caching around Millicent on the Friday allowed us to find another 85 or so targeted caches before the rain arrived in earnest and we were glad of the cabin accommodation again that night.
We made our way back home to Adelaide the following day via Penola and Naracoorte, again picking up a nice variety of caches along the way.
Overall it was a great trip, with over 200 Traditional, Multi, Unknown, Letterbox , Virtual and Earthcaches found along the way, many with quite high difficulty and/or terrain ratings. Most of the caches were in good condition, unless otherwise specifically noted. Favourite points have been allocated to those that I particularly enjoyed or found very clever along the way.
Many thanks to all the cache owners for placing the caches and the various puzzles. I am looking forward to my next visit to the region, possibly later in the year for the rescheduled Mega event at Millicent in October.

Still no wombats in sight but what a nice view ! TFTC ! We found it safe and dry But my GPS is still not working here , we littetary have been forward and backward all around the bench.
Back to avenge the end of last visit!
We had been looking at what new caches were about when we noticed this had just been replaced. Always a nice walk through under the trees, love how the wind had then creaking and groaning as we walked through... this would be a great place for a night cache!!!
Once up the top and around to the likely location and an easy find. This is definitely not blowing away now! Log signed, replaced and lid done up tight, time to sit and log my find from the seat at the top. I have no idea what others have been logging but definitely no cache there last we were here! Thanks for replacing.

The Incredible View is once more up and running. We have replaced the cache as the last one seems to have done a runner. All good now happy caching.
Once again we have replaced the cache. Hope we have secured it well enough this time that it can not either blow away or be relocated.

Yes, it is an incredible view, one we'll have to come back and see again .
Alas, the cache could not be found on our visit today , even after an extensive look [B)].
Thanks anyway Ronie & TG.

Went up for the view and suddenly had an inkling there might be a cache. Checked it out and then soon found it, TFTC.
Thoroughly enjoyed the walk into this cache , great views . We did take quite a long time to locate the cache but very pleased when we did. Now back down the track and to have a good look at the very special huge Tasmanian Blue Gum tree that was planted in 1880. Thanks Ronnie & TG , a favourite is given.
Found It!
Attempt number two at this one and this time a cache was found! Nice views from up here!

Continued on from the last cache and like others got to that point of do we bush up or keep going. I kept going, luckily as the track leads right to to lookout at the top. Quite a nice outlook and good reception too!
A quick look and no cache so read through the logs and looked at the photos. Very clear where the cache should be and what to look for but no cache to be found despite a good careful look.
Searched further afield, down hill and around, even looked at the old moved coordinates but no finds in many months, the previous searchers careful look also... Think it's safe to say this cache is missing.

During a weekend down at the Mount for a scuba diving symposium event, this was a day of driving back and detouring past a few caches and sights. Managed to extend my trip home to Adelaide via Port MacDonnell, Millicent, Beachport, and then Robe (to ensure that LGA is covered for a challenge cache).
Like a few people had mentioned, my initial thoughts from the walk was that I had taken a wrong turn and overshot this waypoint. Then I wondered if I needed to bush bash my way through. However just as I was contemplating the idea, the part revealed itself. At GZ, I searched and searched, but nope, could not find this cache. I read all the past logs and consulted past images. I swear I did thorough searches all within the bushes nearby and a little far. I can't believe this cache has gone for a place so out of the way, but I would be surprised if still here as I spent 30 min looking around the small vicinity. Sigh!

Based in Millicent, for a few days, with our caching buddies and fellow Victorians, the Suscoe duo. Today we enjoyed a coastal adventure from Beachport to Southend. The scenery was stunning, equal to, if not more impressive than Vitoria's Great Ocean Road in parts. Again places such as this, we would not have visited had someone not placed a cache there.
Sadly we did not see any wombats, although there were plenty of signs of them being nearby, we loved the walk in the bushland. A FP from us.
Thanks 'Ronie & TG' for placing this cache.

Suscoe was out and about today with our good friends Phetlern yet again for a day of fun caching and seeing the sights and sites of the area between Millicent, Southend and Beachport.
What an amazing area and we really enjoyed the coastal scenery with the sandstone and limestone cliffs and the sea coming in in waves.
It was a cold start to the day but with a clear sky early we had a delightful day with sunshine and an almost warm touch to the air later in the afternoon.
Thanks to Ronie & TG for this hide, a pleasant walk and view of the area.
Great range of local plants on show.

After being in beachport a few years ago and not seeking out this cache I had to find it today whilst in the area again. Hubby was down fishing so off I went to find the few unfound caches from last time. What a magnificent view from here. The cache did take a few minutes to find but I didn't mind enjoying extra time in this location - a favourite from me TFTC
Great location. This why I love this game. I would never come to this place otherwise cheers
Came for a drive to get the caches out this side of town. [^]
Had a great walk to this one, loved the track through the dense bush and the view was pretty speccy when we got to GZ.

Our second day caching the lower South East with CPWanderer & hevwalker.
CP & I continued walking on the track and soon realised that we needed to walk off the track.
After searching nearby we couldn't find anywhere accessible.
Continuing on further to find another track, (which we did) we made the gradual walk to the lookout
Certainly was worth the effort as the view was perfectly panoramic.
Thanks for bringing us here Ronie & TG

Found this cache with clare007 and hevwalker on an expedition to the south east! We had perfect weather on our trip …. Picking up some great Traditionals, multis and puzzles and a number of earthcaches. We also attended the Aussie Outback Event in Mount Gambier and local teams FT016 and Spanner111 took us on a nightcaching run!
Certainly great views!!! Worthy of a favourite!!!

A lovely walk to this spot even though the track was a bit overgrown in places. Great views from the top. A favourite point from us for the scenic location. TFTC
TT016 loaded her geobaby into her back carrier. I had the geobackpack. We headed out to grab this cache which has been on my radar for awhile. It was an easy walk around Wooley Lake until about the last 80m uphill. The views were amazing from here. We could even see my family's farm in the distance. My GPS's battery died just as I reached the top but used phone to locate the general area of the cache. Found with relative ease. Took some photos including a panoramic one of the view. Left one of my pathtags for the next finder. TFTC Ronie & TG

Came down here for a FTF and decided to get this one as well. Hell of a nice view thanks
Yes the cache title has got that right, we could see for miles from here, can see the GZ for quite a few caches from here too. Couldn't believe the amount of wombat poop we dodged on the track in, they are sure well fed lil fellas around these parts.
Thanks Ronie & TG for the cache, the view and getting the old heart pumping. TNLNSL

As we walked towards GZ we started to wonder if we had missed a track as the walk to GZ was quite circuitous. However, We came to a sign which directed us to where we wanted to go. At GZ accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents wee in good condition. Thanks Ronie & TG for bringing us on this really enjoyable walk and for the cache.
Couldn't find it on our first visit due to lack of light. But after a bit of a search on our return visit a week later...Yay, found it. In hindsight we didn't need to go far off the track as we first thought and than we had looked on our last visit. Fantastic walk, view and workout. Left a scrapbooking embellishment
