Couldn't find after about 5 mins. Warning to future cachers: limit looks like someone couldn't hold it in behind one of the pine trees.
Logging with permission of the CO on 12/01/2017. Originally found with dgfb33 when we were very very noobies on 10/10/2013. I had always planned to re-sign this with my real hat on but my attempt the other day was thwarted when it eluded me. Thanks for letting me log this one. I also sent photo proof of the original find.
Now I'm on holidays I will try & get the last 3 that I wanted to re-sign. My "there's no rush" should be ignored so I can sign them before they are archived or something equally as drastic happens! . Thanks again.

Searched for a while for this one but decided to give up and mark it as a nemesis for the time being!
No luck today - lots of rubbish and disturbance from previous searchers but couldn't find anything. Thanks anyway
11-12-2016 - to 2.35pm - didn't find it . I'd been saving this one up for another time thinking it would be nice & quick as I knew what & where ... sigh ... My plan was to use this as a side trip before I did a bit of shopping therapy nearby. I know it should have been a quick find. I vaguely remember finding it in 2013 when it was our 5th find but not for me today when I was hunting alone. I even gave it a couple of extra chances as I was only using 4 eyes instead of the normal 8 or 10 . Only one trio of muggles passed while I was lurking .. . Aaahhh .. shouldst one thank the CO for a DNF .. hmmmm I'll be back
Find 12 of 45 of the day.
Day of geocaching between the Coal Mine and Anderson, a tiring day. Thanks for hiding all these caches Gonefishen07. TFTC

Find #900 YAY!
After going one way from next to the Pony club up to Powlett River today I had some time so decided to head through Wonthaggi for a bit along the trail. I am really enjoying this trail and cache series and thought it would be good to try and finish it off before the warmer weather brings out both more muggles and snakes! This was 19 of 19 found along here today. TFTS Gonefishen07 and other that help in maintaining the caches. Found this on my 2nd look as the cache blended in well with all the rubbish at this spot! Finally got it though.

Found this one slightly expose so made for an easy find. Log signed and back again.
Took us 5mins to find! Wasn't that covered to be honest! All in all was a great way to hide it!
Nicely tucked away and dry. Kids enjoying biking on the trail on our morning walk. Thanks Jazzmo (NZ)
Found it on a brief visit to Wonthaggi to get out of the traffic jam trying to get onto Phillip Island
Suscoe was heading home today but luckily we had a reasonably short distance to go and so we still had a good few hours to spend in and around Wonthaggi.
The day started out cloudy with some drizzle but it was mild and as time went by some sun broke through on occasions.
We took in a number of cache sites around the town and along the Rail Trail too.
Thanks to Gonefishen07 for placing this cache here.
This was stop number two for this ride.
Cache was found in good order.
All quiet on the trail so far, can't hear the corellas any more.

An RDO ride with a couple members from my BUG and caught up with some riders from Phillip Is BUG.
thanks for the caches along the rail trail

3/3 so far this muggy afternoon. Storm is brewing so maybe time to head home after visiting partner in hospital, and of course clearing up a few caches her. But wait-there's no one at the nearby Kids Paradise for the first time ever!
The days has heated up a bit now, the flies are extreme friendly too. Cache hunt is going very well but some DNF have been collected also. There has been a lot of work gone into this trail by the COs , so a huge thank you.
Walking along the rail trail on my way to Fairy Wren, grabbed this one before a couple of muggles walked past. A quick find and log.
Thanks Gonefishen07.
Thanks Gonefishen07.
On our second day of caching in Wonthaggi. Lucky I had the tweezers to get this log out. TFTC
First rail trail with the crew. Perfect cloudless day for it. Love the thought put into each cache! Sorry about the generic log!
TFTC, no muggles at this one although a similar one in Balwyn had an elaborate device nearby that would take its users to new heights.
We had looked for this cache during a previous visit but without success. We later learnt that it was AWOL and soon after it was replaced. Today we went to try to get this cache off our "to find" list. Despite accurate coordinates, it still took a few minutes of hunting before the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache and for the Rail Trail series.
On a road trip while over for the Melbourne Mega.
Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of this trip.

#738 - Day two of my trip down to the Inverloch for some caching.
The first part of my day today consisted of riding the rail trail from Wonthaggi to Kilcunda picking up as many Rail Trail caches as I could. My weapon of choice was my brothers cycle-cross bike so I could give it a go, with the decision to leave my road and mountain bike at home.
After having a bit of a sleep in to 7am this morning to catch up on some sleep, I quickly had breakfast and headed off to park at Wonthaggi to start the ride.
Between the hours of 08:00-15:00, I was able to get to Kilcunda and back as well as complete 44 of the 50 rail trail caches that I set out to do, (6 DNF's due to not being able to find them and not spend to much time there or due to muggle activity).
I was very impressed with the variety of caches and different cache hides along this part of the Rail Trail. I ended up spending a lot more time looking for caches then riding as quite a few of them were a challenge to find!
Thank you Gonefishen07 for the effort put into these caches, had a really fun ride.

Yes I had to read the hint again and think like I know Hearse068 would. Easily found then. Thanks guys
Had a meeting in town, and a few spare minutes for a hunt. A previous visit here at night was unsuccessful, and was starting to think this would be the same. Then I re-read the hint, and don't know why I'd read it as something else. Must be time for a holiday!!!
This was also one of those moments that could only be attributed to having found too many GF07 caches. I was intent on finding something much more sinister than this ended up being. Wasted too much time here meaning I'll just have to come back another time to find the neighbouring cache I'm yet to tick off. Thanks for another good hide!

Took a bit. No need to go too far in be careful of syringes and broken glass. TFTC
Was going to walk some of the rail trail today as we had a few hours up our sleeves, but given the look of the weather, decided to do a circuit to pick up a few caches so we stayed closer to the car if needed.
A quick pickup. TFTC

In Wonthaggi this weekend for a whole heap of geocaching!
Saturday, and what was planned to be a massive day. The schedule was to travel to Kilcunda via the rail trail, then head back down the coast. Unfortunately I ran out of time and had to head back to Wonthaggi before completing all the caches. Nevertheless a heap of smileys are now on the map, and I had a blast. A huge thank you to Gonefishen07 for placing these, they are great! Ill be back another day to finish the area off!
Had to wait for a muggle to pass before retrieving this one.

Found today with Geobears. Think we may have left our tweezers behind at this spot cause we didnt have it for the next location we went to. TFTC
Found this one pretty easily as it was slightly uncovered when we arrived. It seems the tweezers I had in my pocket from the previous cache was swallowed up by the pine needles... TFTC
Hmmm. We were a bit cold and grumpy today. We even had a fellow catcher stop to direct us. But no luck. We'll try again soon.
On a weekend visit from Geelong, I thought I would grab a few rail trail caches while out and about enjoying the sights. Some were easy, others took longer to find. The variety of cache containers and the different types of hides was mind boggling. It is always a pleasure to cache with accurate co-ords and all of the hides were spot on. I couldn't believe just how hides many there are on the trail. It will take a few more visits to knock these off !! I can't wait to return. TFTC Gonefishen07.
While the other half of the Tritonz was after the more hardcore caches I was able to pick up some more sedate ones from the rail trail in the company of mrs DAB and mrs Na'wal.
After the kids had some fun in the local playground we grabbed a few caches on the trail close by.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache.

Caching with With GJMMelb today, I had parked my car and jumped in with them. Our aim was to tackle some higher D/T rating caches
We called past this cache and found it was a DNF a phone call to the CO had her replacing it tonight (fresh out of the shower with WET hair... my nanna would be turning in her grave... The amount of times I was cursed for going out with wet hair... tut tut gonefishen!) So GMelb and I accompanied the CO for the replacement :)
Thanks again Gonefishen

We had a really busy day today with GMelb having an early morning trip to Tullamarine airport to drop off 2 nieces, followed by playing violin at a friend's Church. A quick lunch and we headed down to meet ms-enchantress for some caching followed by having tea with a friend who is down here looking after he Aunty and then driving to Warragul to pick up our son and 2 mates from State Youth Games!! Phew!
This was a DNF turned into a find after we had rung the CO thinking Kids Paradise was missing & when she rang back we were able to tell her this ine was missing too. At that stage there were only 2 DNF's on the cache page. After GMelb & ms-enchantress met the CO at KP they then came here and replaced the cache so it's all good now. We are actually thankful this one was missing otherwise it would have been a wasted trip for the CO!!
TFTC Gonefishen07, this was the last for the day, we will probably visiting our friend again whilst she is here looking after her Aunty so we are looking forward to finding more in the area soon - GJMMelb

Not having much luck tonight. Looked like someone had been scratching around before us, with logs not sitting where the indent in the pine needles showed the log was. Dunno if it's us or gps or what today????
Not having much joy here this morning, looked at all the obviousgeo senses must be off
Up early and drove to Wonthaggi and caught the V/line Bus to Kilcunda, so we could walk the 13km+ back again, picking up a few caches as we went. We gave ourselves limited time at each cache, or so we thought until we realised the pocket query for these caches had missed quite a few and we passed many that we had in our book, but not on our Garmin - not happy about it but we cannot do anything when you're on the rail trail and away from services.
The rail trail was as busy as any you'd ever see in the big smoke, bikes, walkers, even a cycle club passed us twice during the day, making caching a difficult task at times.
The caches we found were easy, some we didn't try for due to long grass etc, plus others that we knew were there - somewhere.

He's pining for the fjords. Just in time for one more before we return to the car. Nice quick find for the last of the morning.

Found by youngest geokid today on a georide/georun this morning with Zeus Hera & Kids. Thanks for this hide, our last of the morning.
Met up with Team Crackers for 2 days, to tackle the Rail Trail and a few local caches.
Day 2 and back on the bikes again. The weather was windy but sunny - very different to yesterday.
We found a good variety of hides, with the odd one being a little tricky.
This is a fantastic trail, and we award each one a favourite point.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Gonefishen07, for us and others to find.

Found by Mary & David at 1550. On our own for a while after the Event,. This was the only remaining rail trail cache in town that we hadn't found, and not too far from our Motel. A short drive and we were at the car park. A short walk then took us to GZ where we found the cache in the second spot we checked. Our thanks to Gonefishen07.
