Today we were cycling on Rottnest Island. We passed several caches. This was one of them. Thanks and greets from Switzerland!Taureau
Today I went for a walk and looked for this one and soon found it. Thanks for the cache.
Took us a while. Great hidey spot. Thanks for the challenge. Aidan, Jacqui and Peter.
Coordinates had me further from the road. Once I adjust my search and I was about 4m from the road the cache was discovered. There are so many bike riders today but I think you can expect that as it's a weekend.
Visiting From NZ. Staying in Fremantle and just had to visit the Island. We had great weather all week. Today was the worst day of that week, even though it was still fine and warm for us. The wind got up later in the day and made it trickier to ride the bike and a choppy ride home in the ferry. Thanks for all the caches placed on the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and giving me a purpose to keep riding!TFTC
Harder than we thought it would be they werent kidding when they said hideshole
Chewbacca72 and I are traveling during 4 months through Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. A few caches that are on our way should not be missing. This cache is one of them. What a lovely island! Many thanks to sno seeker for hiding.Best regards, searchersab
Took ages . Book full but we found a space partway through where we could write. We weren't going to give in as a friend from home had found this! Thank you, sno seeker.#10527
Took 3 of us a good while to find this one, not far from where co-ords told us where it was. Tree is definitely dead and we'll in the throws of decay, keep looking was a good clue. Thanks ftc from a couple of kiwis caching with Jude E.
Coords are off by approximately 5 m only. Hint about the hidey hole was helpful too! Keep looking!
Definitely a few more obvious hiding spots around, needed the hint as the gps coordinates are a little off.
It seemed to not be in the exact spot the GPS said, but we still had fun looking around the bush land and the scenic views
Cache 4 on the island. Log book is almost full - signed on the back cover. TFTC, #1510
TFTC good find for second time nearly a year later, love rotto, needs new logbook and pencil
Heute diesen Cache nach etwas suchen auch gefunden. Besten Dank frs legen und pflegen.
We are from Switzerland...and we travel all states and Terrotories of Australia .We do housesitting all over the world and travel afterwards. Its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching Nggi2 and I decided today and to make out of that green ones Smilies .We travel now around WA before we leave for other countrys . I was looking forward to this trip to Rottnest Island very much . We were here 14 years ago .It looked more busyer this time .We went out on the rented bikes.around the Island to visit all Tradis. Everytime we stopped for a cache a Quokka turned up to my pleasure. Of course it was different from seeing them near the restaurants etc. We spoted all cache in good time just like the Quokkas .Thank you for this Dsli (which means in Swiss cache )[email protected] TB that was declared in other Cache .
We had a great day on the island and cycled a few kilometers. Great bays and beaches invite you to swim. And of course we also saw the quokkas. Funny animals.
Found with Gummi_Venus. We had to backtrack down the hill a few hundred meters to pick this one up. Hint was a huge help once it loaded. Nicely hidden.
On our bike ride around Rottnest, we managed to grab this one on the way back to the port. Sneaky little find and a quick cache and dash on to the next! TFTC
On a very hot cycle around the island, we had grand plans of doing most of the caches but the heat beat us. This was the last for the day as we gave up the hunt to find more. Tftc
Fairly quick find here once the GPS settled a bit. Log book pretty full. But plenty of space to squeeze in still. Thanks for the cache
#7448Day 10 in WA involved a trip to Rottnest Island. We tried to pick the least windy day as we aimed to cycle around the island. After picking up our eBikes, we set off in a clockwise direction. While there was no wind to speak of, we did encounter intermittent drizzle until we got to the west end. From there on, it was beautiful sunshine and quite warm. This one took us a little while to locate.TFTC sno seeker
Visiting from Brisbane with T-Tech. Today we are heading to Rottnest Island Tick that off the Bucket List! We hired electric bikes and spent 6 hours riding the length and breadth of the island, travelling 50kms, seeing the sights and gathering caches. The hint had us wandering all over the place here, but T-Tech eventually found it. TFTC, sno seeker.

Enjoying my first visit to Rottnest Island and joined by patrol14 on a lovely winters day.
Hired a deadly treadle to get us around to several of the caches, and we managed to get half of them done.
Nice quick find once at GZ.
Thank you, sno seeker1, for placing this cache for our benefit and enjoyment

Took sayflumpa and me a while. As others mentioned it’s closer to the road as it appears y
Took a bit of wandering around until I saw it. Maybe a bit northeast of posted coordinates, but really not that far away. TFTC!

Dieses Jahr ist es endlich soweit und wir reisen nach Australien um die Gibb-River-Road zu fahren. Eigentlich sollte dies schon 2020 stattfinden, aber da kam irgendwas dazwischen. Also 2023 ein neuer Anlauf.
München->Singapur->Perth->Broome->...->Gibb-River-Road->...->Darwin->München
Heute endlich nach Rottnest Island um Quokkas zu sehen und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Mit dem Rad die Insel erfahren und viele schöne Plätze entdeckt.
Zur Dose:
Fix gefunden.
Danke für's Legen und Herführen sagt Bison1.0
