I visited the point months ago and suspected "that" was the cache but I did not have further action. After studying the previous log, I re-visit this GZ again after work. TFTC.

Drive past this one quite often when in the area so having not many green icons around here this one was annoying me the last few days.
Late arvo by the time we got here, had to visit the 'old boy' in Bentley hospital first before caching.
Yayyy no longer green but a smiley.

Got a mate into caching and he mentioned he had attempted this one but thought it involved jumping the fence which he wasn’t comfortable with. I was heading to the shops and saw the church name and remembered the cache of the same name so stopped to have a try. Well what an amazing hide it is. Not what I expected. FP awarded

Probably looked strange to the few cars driving by at night, but overall was a very well hidden cache.

Much more camo then I had thought for a level 1. New log wrapped around old so be careful when unraveling.

Find 7 of 23 with 1 DNF on a longer bike ride from Burswood, out to the mighty Tonkin PSP and back via Carlisle/Lathlain, clearing the map off. Thanks to DCell, Lachlan1.77 and Bindi01 for most of the entertainment, it's always a pleasure finding your caches.

Mr O did the trampling (not too badly) while Mrs O directed from the sidelines and she got it spot on. No maintenance is required here - we inserted a new log and it's good to go.

I was moments from giving up based on the thought that a level 1 difficulty would be in an obvious spot, so I thought it might have been removed. Thankfully reading the other finders comments made me realise it was better camoflauged than I expected. Found and signed, thanks for placing.

2’s day. So it’s the 22/02/22 on a Tuesday a good reason to get the MICS (MEME28,I C Nothing, Cirrus_WA and SirFancy) gang at it again.

Started with D island before going to the 2’s day event at vicpark.

After we hit up a lot of Dcell caches, wondering the whole time, who is this mystery cacher?

It was a good night even managed to find a cache at 22:22.




This is my 1556 find.

Used the parking around the corner and walked around to GZ.
A slow search of GZ had us getting our hands on the cache after a few minutes.

2’sday night caching took on a whole new meaning tonight as I ventured up to the city with SirFancy and teamed up with I C Nothing, Meme28 (MICS for the logs) with cameos from Burns345 & nadi.
Started off walking around Kuljak Island before heading to Vic Park for the event.
After a decent feed and some good chats headed back out into the night targeting caches in the Burswood & Carlisle areas.
Once the team split SirFancy & I headed home following the Armadale line to complete the adventure lab along the way.
Getting home after an absolutely amazing night with 25 finds, 5 adventure labs & 0 DNF’s.

The Mics team are ready for another good night of caching with an event to through into the mix. I had a reasonable, if slow start to the day looking for difficult caches, it was time to move through suburbia properly picking off geocaches as I went. This cache looked promising.
At GZ there was convenient parking, and noone around. It still took me a few minutes to spot the hide though. I retreated to some shade to do the formality of the paperwork.

Despite the potential for rain today, I decided to head out in search of a few caches. it was an enjoyable day of caching despite the intermittent showers, with some good quality finds in between. however, as the day wore on, the rain set in and became more and more steady, the decision was made to finally call an end to the day and head back home. All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated. A fun cache, worth a favourite point.

Was trying to find the cache, wasn’t making any noise or disturbing anyone and a lady came out and told us it was private property and if we didn’t move she would set her dog loose on us
have contacted the church to let them know of the incident as well

Wasn’t able to find it. Karen and her whole family came out and was going to release her rotti on us.
Totally threw us off. I hope no one else has trouble

Had to pop down to Welshpool this morning to visit a commercial outlet - so took the chance to pick up a few caches on the trip This was one that I stopped off at. A few cars in the carpark but otherwise all seemed quiet here today. Parked up and took a wander round to GZ. A possible host caught my eye straight away but a quick check proved it was real. Another one was spotted nearby and after some careful steps to get closer I was soon signing the log Very nice hide - have a fave point. All ok here, TFTC

This one has been a bit of a bane for us. We have looked a few times but don't like to dismantle things that are not ours.
Eventually we realised that this was necessary to reveal the cache. Once we knew that it was not a hard one but still if there was another one like this placed elsewhere we would still be reluctant to do what we did to get this cache.
We didn't touch anything else on the search but we think its possible the sprinkler nearby has been messed with by other searchers. It looked like the top ring was removed...but we didn't look closely so it may have just been our dull eyesight.
Thanks for the cache at last we don't have it standing out in a sea of smiling faces when we look at the map.

Looked for ages but DNF

Second attempt at this one. Wow! Had to gather all the geo senses for this one. First time tried for about 20 minutes. This time with senses tuned right up only too about 5 minutes to locate the coveted treasure. All is in good order. Log signed and returned the elusive prize to its hiding stop. TNLNSL. TFTC.

Unfortunately we could not find the hiding place after intensive search.

Tried this cache again after unsuccessful attempts in the dark and finally made it! Definitely a clever cache, not what I expected. Hopefully assembled everything back properly after trying all the wrong places... TFTC!

After getting up at O'Dark 30 to take the grandparents to the airport, I decided to do a bit of early morning caching before work, as the sun begun to rise.

I was going to get this one on Thursday night, but a heavy stream of passing cars, the fact it was pitch black and me scanning a garden bed with a torch - all seemed like it would be a good idea to give it a miss and try in daylight hours. Returned this morning just as the sun was rising over the smokey hills. Nice quick find and good camo work here. Have a favourite for your efforts! [^] Cheers Zane and Bianca/GrumpyBump!
