Found! The geo kiddies and I went on a short trip in this area to grab a few caches. Parked in an almost empty carpark. The cache was located far enough away that passing running muggles were not a problem. A quick find.

Easy Find! Very happy with this one as it was (meant to be) our first ever, however due to so many 'Muggels' being around we felt it best to try our luck elsewhere before coming back (much later and darker) and signing off our success. thanks for an easy yet great introduction into Geocaching

Found with trailrunning on a trip to Geelong to clean up around 50 for the day/night, we did a few aound Melbourne on our way out and back as well, some Quality caches were found tonight. Thanks tnt_trent_130 for the cache.

It's the Monday of the Queen's Birthday weekend and Rebel Acts and I want to travel to Geelong to clean up all the caches north of the Barwon River. While we were not successful in getting them all we were able to find 50 caches at a rate of 1 cache every 10 minutes. We also had a chance meeting with Ballarat team HIGHROD just before they left for home.

On a few occasions we used the help of the self-proclaimed Geelong Geocaching HQ (Bushfire) to help us along the way. While the weather was cold, the pace was enough to see me caching in a t-shirt for most of the day and night, until the fog descended of course.

I was surprised at how old the cache container looked given it's relatively recent GC code.

A great time was had and some really good caches discovered. Thanks to the CO's for their efforts. We will return..

Found this one during our month long tour of SE Australia. It is our intention to find as many caches as possible during our stay and as a result logistics dictate that this generic log will have to suffice .Hope the cache owners, to whom we extend our gratitude for their efforts, will all understand the reasons for this.All good wishes from us both.

Headed to this little concentration of caches that I haven't found yet after work today. Drove down to this one - after driving past once before seeing the road that took me right to GZ! There were a few muggles around but I was able to retrieve the cache from the first place I looked after a couple of attempts! Thanks to tnt_trent_130 for this one.

We have had an excellent day canoeing on the Barwon with the scouts. A nice easy find to finish the day. TFTC.

We had decided to attend the Geelong Smorgasbord Events so we decided to come down on Friday to try and pick up as many caches as possible, as Mr Crackers was working this weekend The Coffee’s kindly offered Mrs Crackers a seat in their geomobile.
We pulled up here to find only one other car in the parking area and no muggles to be seen so it was a quick grab, sign and replacement before anyone else arrived.

Found by Mary & David at 1215. We've been past here a few times, but hadn't stopped before today. Had to break out the umbrellas as it was pouring down. Luckily we found the cache quickly. We did have time to briefly appreciate the river, trees and the mural though. Our thanks to tnt_trent_130.

Bogonghazy and I took the stroll along to here, and enjoyed the surroundings whilst doing so. The sun was out, what a magnificent day for caching. The cache was soon in hand, and we were on our way. Wow, some of those houses are awesome, I bet their rates are pretty awesome too. Thanks to tnt_trent_130 for highlighting this spot and for the cache.

Sully1 and I walked from the previous cache to this one and had to wait for a couple of young families to pass before making the quick find.
Good coords and a decent clue always help a fast recovery.

Every time we've been past this GZ, we've been thwarted in our attempt at a grab by muggles. Guess that's what you get for a tricky hide at a very popular spot! At any rate, we think we've got it down with this grab at dark routine now - not that our canine cacher is overly keen on fossicking around in the dark. He couldn't understand why we'd be so interested in this GZ. Very happy to sign the log and get a smilie at last at this location FINALLY. Cache and contents all good! Thanks, tnt_trent_130. Cheers!

Day 19/31 of Aug 2013 grid completed. I scouted the area last week while grabbing a cache up the road. So today on the way from the pool to work I made a quick detour and with no muggles in sight I quickly retrieved the cache, signed the log and replaced it in its hiding spot.

My sincere apologies to all cache owners for what I am about to do. Unfortunately, I have been unable to keep up with my logs for the past 5 months or so, meaning that it is becoming very impractical for everybody involved. Over the these last few months I have certainly found some fantastic caches showing off both the beautiful areas around the world, and the ingenious minds of cachers alike. I haven't had the greatast find rate over the past few months, but that is also due to the same reason I have fallen behind in my logs. I would like to thank all cache owners for their wonderful contribution to the caching community, and again I sincerely apologise for the generic logs.

Found this whilst out us a scout group doing a night walk. I had my GPSr in my pocket and saw we were approaching this cache. "Who wants to have a shot at geocaching?", They already knew what is was and how it works. And before i know it, they had my GPSr and they were off and away approaching the GZ like a Pro.

They loved it.
