A sunny Sunday. Do I mow the lawns or go geocaching? Obviously lets explore Lower Blue Mountains. What a fun cache, log book almost full so my written log is out of date order there. Somewhere a blank spot on that book.Last visited nearly 1.5 years ago, so nice to keep this hide rediscovered. With TBs Canadian Flag, Swiss Duck, Pittiplatsc, Corona Express Cruise Ship and Bierkrug in tow.
Out on a caching day trip with Dan of SueDan83.
Made our way along the track and then a short bush bash.
I looked in a couple of spots and then Dan, who had found this one previously, encouraged me to re-check somewhere I'd looked over.
Aha! A fun container.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the name of this cache, but on finding the cache container, it made a lot more sense. It was a very cool container, liked this one a lot. Out with all of the geokids this afternoon to enjoy a walk along Rickard Trail. TFTC bisygisy.
A fantastic spot. A great place for my daily iso walk. Beautiful rock structures. Love the cache container. TFTC
Out with a contingent of the GOMs early this morning to collect a couple of neglected high D/T caches before the heat of the day and this was en-route on the exit track from our primary Bad Man target in the valley below.
We followed a couple of families up the track who were having a fantastic time with their RC 4WD vehicles, which was fitting given the cache container that I quickly found in a very tough spot for a 4WD to reach.

Nice little bush bash from the Rickard Firetrail. Did the lazy search 20m from GZ, only to realise we had to head to higher ground. Log book is nearly full.

Another stop on our adventure today - was amazed on the way back up to find two motocross bikes ready to tackle that crazy track!
A quick find by young Brew here.

OCW MrD to grab a few caches around the lower Bluies. A bush bash to GZ, where I soon spotted the hideout. Clever little cache. Now onto the Bad Man. TFTC
Needed a quick find today towards the Fill the Calendar challenge cache. This one fitted the bill nicely. Thanks geobrother and sister-in-law for the joint find.
Quite an easy find in a great area. Cache is in good condition howeve the log is full and needs replacement. Signed and replaced. TFTC

After finding 2 other caches, detoured to this on on the way back to the car. Explored every possible spot except the one I needed. Sat back and reassessed and thought what about there. Should have done that a bit earlier. Nice container

Liked the container. Cache was quicker and easier then I thought it would be. Container all good. Next person could bring a new sheet of paper. Signed and replaced.Tftc
MrT found this one, which is appropriate as he is the "geodad"! Great container. MrT took a photo so I could see it. Fav from us. Log book is full - just enough room to put our name. Returned as found. TFTC
It was a nice afternoon to get out and about so I took my brothers hound for a walk down along the trails to grab a few caches,we found 3 during the walk, this being our first find.I remember when the start of the trail at the top was a wide open path, now grown in to just a walking track.
Great little hide !! A fav point given
Thanks bisygisy for the cache

Today was a big adventure day, knocking off most of the caches from [Phobias](http://coord.info/gc47xxq) in the east, up over Bad Man Ridge, to Warrimoo. I'm very pleased to have found 16 of 16 including some real doozies. I got dirty, sweaty, and sunburnt, with only one close call to speak of. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining some really great caches. Doling out favourite points is going to be a tough call for sure!
-----end of cut & paste section-----
Cache #14. Found myself on a very unusual trail passing by this cache. Once getting to about 25-30m I saw some good features in the rock about at GZ that looked promising, and upon closer inspection, discovered the dadliest cache in the area. Man, what a dad joke that was. TFTC!

Cool little container and very nice location... didn't take too much time to find!
This one took me much longer than I would have or should have taken. Very interesting cache, exactly where the GPS said it should be. TFTC
Found with phlphotos. We were both out for some cache maintenance and had just enough time to pick up this one. I was looking for something much bigger, but Phil had the right idea. What on earth is the purpose of this track though?
#640 found with alnic39 wandered around a bit trying to find where the GPSr wanted to take me. Had me going high & had me going low even had time to stop & ask a lizard where it was. Got a hint and soon had the cache in hand. Took the TB and the cache container was different to any of my earlier finds. Signed the log and replaced as found didn't get a chance to thank the lizard. Anyway thanks for the cache bisygisy
Out with Jimmy, Harry and Shuckypoo to do the sketching cache and thought we'd do this one on the way. Took us a little longer than we thought as we all missed it the first time we looked in the right spot!! Anyway, love the container and enjoyed clambering over the rocks. Left a zombie trackable.
Out with packo for some creek walking. We went for a short diversion to find this. Had fun exploring the area but gave up and were about to leave when i spotted one more thing that needed to be searched. Bingo!
First cache I have done in quite some time. Thanks Jonno for leading the way. It was a fun start to a great afternoon down in the creeks.
Found after a short wander down the hill. I can't believe the amazing amount of large rocks around here. Unfortunately did not have a pen on us so did not sign the log. TFTC
Interesting cache, this one sure took us a little longer than we would of liked after a big mornings walk.
Thanks
Thanks
A morning out caching with AMGSARI and this was the last of the caches along Bad Man's Ridge for the day.
The coordinates were very accurate however, locating this little blighter did prove to be quite a challenge.
We looked for some time until Anthony declared the cache found ......... but I had looked there and did not see it, must have my eyes checked.

Nice Sunday afternoon walk. Nice spot, kids enjoyed clambering over the rocks. Took longer to find than necessary as we missed the hiding spot initially, found by geoson. Tftc
I was on a group cache hunt with bisygisy and Canary today. Bisy suggested this one for me to find after they had found THE cache the group sought and left me on my own.
Legs sore from the many scrambles that I had already done, but I was determined to find more while I was out here.
This one was well hidden, and a pleasant surprise to find the different cache container from the usual type.
Thanks for the cache.

Eine wirklich schöne Cachedose. Mal es anderes als die sonstigen Container. Danke fürs Herlocken.
We found this lovely place and nice cachecontainer on our hikingtour today. Thanks for showing us. #3917
Followed the tracks from "you crack me up" to this cache. Geodad was all over it and had it straight way. Thanks for the cache!
Unfortunately, earlier in the day my pen broke. Luckily all the caches I had found after that had some form of writing implement, but no such luck with this one. However, I took a photo, and can describe this interesting cache if required.
I was on one of those rolls, where from ~45m away I though "I reckon it will be there". And it was!

This cache wrapped up a big day of caching with morebierplease in the cripple Creek area. Nice hide, love the cache container.
Another cache on our sojourn into Badman country. The Badman did not visit this particular area. Oh look another cache down in the depths of yet another gully. It was quite hot by now as we descended. We spied the GZ from afar. I for one was confused by the description and was looking for camouflage, having ignored a most obvious GZ in search of something far sneakier. Sir Altaire did not make this mistake and looked in this exact same spot and found himself a cache. We had a good laugh at this very original container. Nice area.
After looking to the west and luncheon we wended our way back along the fire trail. The day was certainly warming up now and we were somewhat grubby and sooty from brushing against the burnt vegetation. Down the rocky path we went and at the appropriate point darted off the short distance to the cache locale. We'd thought this was an ammo tin zone only out here on the rocky & scrubby ridges and were somewhat appalled and dismayed at the thought that this was not to be one. However it transpired to be a worthy alternative and was in a nifty little nook. Took a photo to send to the Mandelbaums.
TFTC great hide and cache. As we sat listening to the sounds of trail bikes ripping around the area the cache seemed even more appropriate.
Did a cache check this morning. I am re-enabling this one. All is looking well. I could see where the recent fires have come through on the side of patterson's ridge. But that was way in the distance. I will post a picture.

We got caught up on the ammo can reference so spent a while looking in the wrong spots! Got there when we had a better read
Hunted a bit with 5 sets of eyes and then I came in and saw it in seconds. nice box
After a paddle on the Nepean followed by a bite to eat in Glenbrook, Mr H of the clan & a friend decided to burn off lunch and go for a bush walk in this area picking up a few caches along the way, this being one of them. We enjoyed the walk down the rocky track and commented that it would be good fun to try and 4WD down it should the tracks have been open to vehicles. Probably a good job they're not as it would be tough getting back up! Nice & easy on foot though and the cache was found easily.
Cheers,

Couldn't get the GPS or the geodog to settle. Started getting fatigued so I decided it would be best to head home. Will return another day
#2115- This was our last of four in the area today. Starting from Webby's new pool cache, we did a big loop to this one. Came up the very wild old track and spotted the likely hiding area from about 50m. NickoHeap went in for the kill- with bikerbuddy helping him to actually make the retrieval. A pleasant spot in this area I have not been to before. Thanks- now just about a one and a half k walk back to the car. Lucky to be leaving now, as the smoke from backburning was just starting to creep through. Thanks bisygisy.
Out and about with pjmpjm for a sedate walk and cache afternoon.
An easy walk down the old rocky track after a false start!
We made the find straight away as both our GPSr pointed out right at GZ so no worries there, could have been a Sunday afternoon stroll in the local park.
Nice container, thanks for the cache.

An afternoon's outing to the lower Blue Mountains led rogerw3 and me to this newish cache, not far from the familiar '5 ways' of fire trails, off Rickard Road in Warrimoo.
It took us a few minutes to discover the very rocky trail downwards to GZ, but in the end it should have been obvious!
From there, the rest was easy. Reaching the bottom of the trail, our GPSrs pointed unfailingly to the correct hiding spot, and we were lucky enough to immediately put our hands on the novel container.
All was in good order. TNLNSL.
Many thanks to bisygisy for another Blue Mountains geocache in a pleasant place.

It wasn't until I read some logs that I eventually nabbed this simple but sneaky hide. In the end it was a standard sandstone type of hide, just very well done. No grovelling needed at all. Thanks bisygisy.
Took the steep rocky old track down from 5 ways and was soon into the rocks. Like most I searched here and there amongst these monoliths before reading some past logs and recalibrating my search. Sure enough a novel, but well hidden, little cache was soon in my grasp. Thanks bisygisy.
So many potential spots but we couldn't find the right one this time, though maybe I am misunderstanding the clues in the description. Will try and come back another time.
On our way to the Autum Event we decided to grab a couple of caches along the way, perfect day out in the bush greeted with several people exercising. Arriving at GZ and the search began. Wilbert going one way , Baja15 another, pit of poking here and there... Soon heard the familiar sound .. Got it. Nice spot. TFTC
On the way out back to the car we took this little detour down the hill. There are quit a few possibilities at GZ, but with 3 pair of eyes we made a relatively fast find.

This was one of the great caches we grabbed while making our way to the Bluies Event. I made the find in company with friends and we are once again impressed withe the caches we find up here. Thanks
Found @ 1240hrs after 5-10 minutes of poking around in every other nook and cranny within 20 metres. Our GPSr wasn't playing nice today even though the skies were perfectly clear(apart from a lot of smoke from all the burning off going on in the mountains). It took us right to GZ at first, then told us it was 15M back the way we came, then 5M this way, then 10M that way. Eventually MeerKat found it back where our hunt had started, the funniest thing is that Benzito had his face about 30cm from the hiding spot while he had been looking somewhere else and didn't notice the tell-tale cache hiding signs right in front of him.
Nice cache container, and a cool hide. TNLNSL. TFTC Bisygisy.

Found this one the hard way, first took the more 'used' firetrail, then bush bashed our way down to the correct track..GPS had us all over the place, with it 'settling' in various places down to 2M (Though each place was atleast 20+ meters awayfrom the others) ......so lots of looking and eventual find after a good hour or so.
This adventure left me certain - I need a new 'proper' GPS device.
Thanks for the cache Bisygisy! Will be remembered
BTW the hide needs better security ...someone nicked the TV that was mentioned by a prior finder.

I really gotta stop looking in all the fun hard places first! Easy find in the end, need special geocaching tool #37 to obtain a log to sign.

Attempted this cache after the back in black cache. Didn't take very long to reach GZ for this cache, however my search went on for a good 30 mins. In the end it was a rather easy find, I just didnt have my eyes working properly at that time. Nice hide and good location. TFTC.
We climbed up the hill for this one getting slowly closer to GZ.
About twentyfive metres away I got a phone call from Purplepeopleater.
As a got closer to GZ bikerbuddy and Toriaz were sitting and waiting for me help with the search. NOT!
They had hidden the cache. Luckily I know them too well.
The second of adventurous day out with bikerbuddy and Toriaz. She managed six while the boys got four.

Our second find for the day, we headed back to this one after being cracked up by that badman guy. We were getting close to the first series of overhangs when Canary got a phone call. So bikerbuddy & continued on alone to GZ.
We looked around a little & spotted the cache. At first we were just going to leave it there & wait for Canary. But the Devil Woman came out & suggested it could be amusing to remove the cache to our own persons & watch Canary look in vain. Unfortunately he seems to know us too well, or maybe our faces were just too reminiscent of a cat after eating a canary (I'm told I make a lousy actress). For whatever the reason, he guessed immediately that we had the cache & we could hardly deny the charge.
Thanks

This was the second cache out of four for Canary and me today, and of six for Toriaz. After finding the BadMan's creack cache, we made our way up this track. I remembered that it was the same track I had used some time ago to do the Fallen Giant cache. Today, we'd passed this track when we were at the five ways and had taken the longer route to the BadMan cache. Had we had any sense we could have done this one first and made it a shorter trip along this track. Oh well ...
Canary got distracted by a phone call before he got to GZ, so Toriaz and I went and found the cache. I don't know what Canary thinks of us, but when he finished his phone call and got to GZ he just assumed we had hidden the cache somewhere else. It was a little hard to be offended, since Toriaz promptly removed the cache from her bag. With cache duties done, it was off for some more adventures on BadMan ridge. Thanks bisygisy.

Needed a cache to keep the streak going as we close in on the 100 day mark, so set off after dinner to find this one. Knowing we only had about an hour to get from home to GZ and back to the car before we lost daylight, we stopped for nothing as we walked along the firetrail towards the junction.
We made the turn down the hill, and soon could see the vacinity of where GZ was. I knew straight away that it was a good one and that finding the cache might be a little difficult.
We made it to GZ and in the fading light, I was happy to have brought the torch to search some of the nooks and crannies. Didnt' take long though and soon had the CIH. Happy days! SL and placed cache back in its spot and we headed back up the hill and back to the car with a little light remaining. By the time we actually got home, darkness had descended upon us.... Glad not to be walking that trail at night! TFTC.

So it was back to the 5 Ways today to find this cache. Wasn't that long ago I was heading down this old rough trail on the hunt for some other caches. Good to be back here. As soon as I got close I could guess the area of the cache.
Missed the cache on my first pass, but soon found it. Nice cache container!
Used the facilities of the hideout... the bar, large screen tv, then it was back to the trails to find another cache. Thanks for the Hideout Bisygisy.

The Geodad's Hideout came up as listed the previous afternoon, and I waited for the the usual FTF suspects to do the dash ... a check online this morning and no FTF claim ... whitemushroom waited til 10.30 then decided the FTFers were not seeking this.
Off to Warrimoo, to a waiting Police vehicle and an open gate. Parked at the parking area (no bonus to return to a locked gate) and strolled the easy firetrail. A couple of ponders then a plunge down the 'disused' track. GPS honed in reasonably well, though the last of the seek was here and there for a short time (in any case, it was a time for a good look at the balanced and corroded rock forms). Not an uneasy find, and a 'Goodness me!' moment as the FTF.
The cache container has given much to think about on the possibilities. There may be other similar type but was a first I had seen and was rather liked!
Thank You bisygisy for the Cache and the FTF (my first FTF at that).
