Thanks,
Thanks,
Great "Get together"!
I like these functions where I can add faces to the "names" of geocachers.
Congrats to Marcus Vitrivius and PPRASS: for achieving this remarkable mile (or 10000) milestone!
Thanks to Haveanez for organising this function!

Wow! What an amazing milestone for two wonderful teams! First of all a huge congratulations.
The weather for the event was perfect & both ourselves & DazRascal we overwhelmed & appreciative of the support our fellow geocachers showed, with some travelling huge distances, to be able to share this day with Pprass & Marcus Vitruvius!
We have a huge list of the people we wish to thank!
Firstly to Peter, Cat & Warren - we were very honoured to be given the opportunity to host this very special & unique milestone event for you all, so a huge thanks to you for giving us this opportunity.
We continue to have a huge amount of support from Australia's premier geocaching store in 101Geo - Our thanks to Alan & Kirsten for your continued support & sponsorship at our events - would not be the same without you.
It was great to have the 101Geo store set up with many great products on display.
Your donation of the engraved milestone coins & some prizes for the day was very much appreciated.
Tigersdens - Cerena & Andrew made a special trip up from Bendigo with the "Pathtag Portal" for the event which was a great addition to the event. Thank you for donating some pathtags and having all the pathtag needs on display. Hope to see you at our next event.
Special mention to Craig from "The Lost Wanderers" and to Leesa from "Gonefishin" for all your hard work on the tongs at the much loved BBQ.
Thanks again to Leesa for donating a few sneaky prizes for the event too.
We hope it was a memorable event for all of you that attended - Thanks again for the support and see you at 20,000!

This was a great day, of course I got there Late, but MV and Pprass know me well and know that I would be out there just getting one more cache. For me it was great to be here to Celebrate the 10k Milestone of two caching teams that I look up to and respect, I Always try and catch up with Peter when he is down Melbourne but it had been some time since I had seen Warren, there is something about Respect between two players that goes along way in this game and I feel the respect between us both goes along way. So well done on the Milestone Peter, Kat and Warren. And well done on the organisation of it haveanez.
After finally logging late caches we can safely say this event is our 5,000 cache.
It was great to be a part of such a great celebration of two great caching names and for years in VIC we have lived in the same area of Peter and Cat, enjoying many events, dinners and wines, and run into Warren at various caches and events.
Our sincere thanks to Haveanez for putting on the event and it was great to catch up with many others.

I have to say that this was one of the better events that I have been to. As well as celebrating the two milestones of course there was the excellent organisation, the great location, the superb weather and that is not to mention the great company. The barbeque lunch provided was a great bonus too.
All in all a most enjoyable day and many thanks to haveanez and DazRascal and anyone else involved for the organisation.

A great big thank you for all the attendees that made the effort to be at the event today to congratulate Marcus and Pprass on their 10,000 finds achievement.
Nothing quite makes an event than the people who are there.
Turned out to be a great day, beaut weather and heaps of friendly faces.
Hope everyone had a good time

Attended with Zobo04 well what can I say. Great weather and a fantastic event to help PPrass and Marcus Vitruvius celebrate there mammoth effort of 10,000 cache finds. What a great effort guys. Now to Leonie, Jas and Daz the effort you guys put into the organization of this event is second to none. You should all be commended on it. I have taken a few ideas with me for my next event A special thanks to Leoine and jas for your hospitality.
We drove about 700kms to attend this event, and it was well worth it! There was a great turnout by near and far cachers from all over. We met a lot of nice people today and had a wonderful time. Congrats on Warren and Peter for this triumphant milestone! Thanks for arrange this event it was one to remember.......not because TeamTonka locked he's keys in the car!
Firstly congratulations on this great achievement and secondly we won FTF!
I’m not sure how exactly that works with an event cache like this (we’re only very new) but we were all pretty happy with the path tags from the win as we’ve all started to get into that.
We’re from Canberra and heard about this through some recent talks with Cerena from the Pathtag Portal, needless to say we didn’t need much of an excuse to come travelling for the weekend for geocaching but it helped out a little.
Had a great afternoon and although we didn’t get to talk to everyone those we did talk to were very friendly, thanks for putting this great little event together and we look forward to more in the future - thanks for getting my wife hooked in Munzies, we now have two hobbies running around madly with the four little ones trying to keep up!

What great turnout for three amazing geocachers it was great to meet so many nice people and see such a well put together event. Ok yes I was the one who locked the car keys in the boot of the tonka and yes it did take five people a tow truck a car thief 2 screwdrivers 2 pieces of wire and a blue packing strap to get into the car but let me tell you the sound of the car alarm going off to indicate that it was finally breached was fantastic. (Considering the alternate was a 7hour ride in a tow truck back to Newcastle) thanks to everyone for their help and words of wisdom like "why did you lock them in there?" Or "that's not a good spot to leave your keys" and also for all the advice on getting into the car like "I found a rock" or "tow it to the bad side of town". A big thanks to our new friends from tigersden for the cool gift "to avoid this problem from happening again" lanyard, I will treasure it and it will always remind us of our great adventure in Albury. Thanks for the great event see you all in the morning

WOW What a story, the cache notes express it so well. It is always great to catch up with fellow cachers and this time to celebrate the numbers.
Thanks for organising a great event haveanez & DazRascal.

I've always respected and admired Peter and Catherine both as people and as geocachers, so I was absolutely rapt when they said they would share this milestone event with me. Having tossed around a few ideas as to what to do for the milestone, an event was decided upon...and if that wasn't fantastic enough, three of my closest friends in Haveanez and DazRascal put their hands up to host the event for us. Could it get any better? In short...it did!
I woke up this morning to a beautiful day for it, and as soon as I arrived at the event site, I could already see the makings of a great day ahead as our hosts had gone to a lot of effort in preparing everything from specialised name tags, log book, signature bears, and plenty of prizes. Add to that...geocaching stores 101GEO and The Pathtag Portal were present and all set up with a full range of geocaching supplies! As people started to arrived, it was fantastic to see those who had made the effort to travel here...and especially great to catch up with those who I hadn't seen in a while. As the day progressed...there was some great caching stories told, great laughter, great food...all shared with a great bunch of people. I couldn't have possibly asked or wanted for anything more. It will always be a day I'll cherish and remember.
To Haveanez and DazRascal...thankyou for not only being wonderful people, but for the huge effort of putting this event together for us and hosting it. I sincerely can't not thank you guys enough, and you've given me a day I'll not forget.
Thankyou to 101GEO for sponsoring the event with their fantastic gifts and prizes which made the day all that much better.
Thanks also to The Pathtag Portal for your efforts in providing a wonderful array of pathtags for everyone to see, and for the effort in making the journey to be here today.
Big thanks to Craig (The Lost Wanderers) and Leesa (gonefishen07) for working the barbeque and cooking all the food for everyone throughout the day. Very much appreciated!
And to Peter and Catherine...it certainly has been adventure! I don't think either of us thought that we would be logging 10,000 caches when we started this crazy activity...but I'm glad you guys could share this day with me. You are both wonderful human beings, and I look forward to sharing many more caches with you in the future.
Gratias.

I'm sorry I was unable to attend this event. Just too many things requiring ones attention and something had to give.
Congratulations to both Pprass and Marcus Vitruvious. I've only done half your score and I can well remember the hours put in to get to where I am so double that seems almost unattainable to me.
Well done!

We came up to Albury from Ballarat specifically for this event.
We wouldn't usually go so far for just any event, but as 2 wonderful cachers were reaching such an amazing milestone we wanted to make the effort.
Congratulations to both pprass and Marcus Vitruvius, we hope you continue to enjoy finding geocaches for many years to come.
Congrats to the hosts for putting on such a great event and for the cool pathtag!

Firstly congratulations to Cat, Peter & Warren on reaching this great milestone and also on your great contribution to geocaching. It shows by the amount of hours that most teams traveled to help you enjoy this achievement how well both teams are respected in our community. We also have to say a very big thank you to haveanez for organizing the event and to):)
We really enjoyed catching up with old friends and for a change we even got to catch up with quite a few of the new teams and have the usual laughs.
We have to say that this is the first event that we have ever been to where one of the special guests was late to their own event and the other one left early to try and grab some FTF's. :)
Again congratulations, hopefully we will be there to help celebrates your 20,00th's soon.

We got out and about early caching around Albury on Saturday and we soon ran into a Team Tonka at one main street cache and Phetlern at another, taking 20 minutes to locate it with some creek dramas.
The BBQ event was in full swing on arrival at 11.30 with the teams arriving from far and wide not long after. It was good to catch up with the old hands and meet some of the newer teams just starting.
Special congratulations must go to Marcus and pprass for the magic milestone and their speeches said it all with many a good story told.Well done guys. I bet the 20,000 mark comes around in half the time.
Big thank-you's to The Lost Wanders, Gonefishin and haveanez for the BBQ enjoyed by all. Also to haveanez for an excellent hosting job .
Many thanks for the second prize raffle win, Just a Cacher for the handmade pathtag bag and to 101GEO for his appreciated Sponsorships not only here but in many places.
Well done to Team Tonka for finally getting the cars keys retrieved and keeping the crowds entertained for over an hour with the multiple NRMA visits.
A great day out in glorious sunshine enjoyed by our team. Well done again to the honorees.

Thanks for the event haveanez.
Thanks for the event haveanez.
We attended this magnificent event just after 11.30am (after a bit of a panic as our Patrol stopped working just nearby) and left quite late as we just didn't want to leave such wonderful people!!
Ever since we first met Warren at a cache in Malmsbury about 6 years ago, we have had a close relationship and have admired and followed his many achievements which we somehow think that we have had something to do with [^] and consequently we are very proud of what he has done and think that he is a genuine great bloke and that we are lucky to have him as a friend.
Now that we are once again living in the same state and no one else had achieved 5 digit cache finds (wonder why that is?) - it was a natural idea to celebrate the milestone together.
The next issue to deal with was to set up an event which was going to be problematic, but then along comes the White Knights in haveanez and DazRascal who took over and created a wonderful event on a fantastic day in beautiful surroundings - the planning, food, arranging prizes, special 10k coins and pathtags was impeccable and the generosity of Leonie, Jason and Darren was outstanding - you are wonderful people!
The event for us was an amazing day shared with a lot of our good friends that we have made over the years - thanks to all the great teams that attended (and for the kind comments from those that could not make it), many coming from quite some distance and it was lovely to have so many friends there to support us.
10,000 caches is not about the absolute numbers to us (remember you are only as good as your last cache find!) - but the journey. Seeing amazing places, having many adventures, having great fun, camping in wonderful parts of the country, but mostly it has been about the people and the wonderful friendships we have formed. Caching has enriched our lives in so many ways.
Thanks to Alan & Kirsten from 101Geo for their sponsorship & to Tigersden Cerena & Andrew for making the trip with the Pathtag Portal - it kinda made it a more sophisticated event!
Thanks to the "cooks" Craig, Leesa and Jason and we would like to make a special thankyou to Alansee who supported us in getting to the final numbers and helping in physically getting to the event!
A big thankyou once more to haveanez and DazRascal for putting on such a memorable event for us and Warren - we will certainly never forget it!

Attended with Gonefishen07 had a great time played at nearby play ground mingled with the crowd ate jas's yummy sausages. My first official event thanks for making it a good onel. Well done to all that helped out in organizing. Well done to to MV and PPrass great effort.
There was no way that we could not come across to celebrate the occasion as we know and respect - even like - all 3 of the high achievers. There was a particularly nice atmosphere at the event, the smell of sausages, the great venue, the relaxed nature of the attendees who were content to chat and enjoy the sunshine all contributed to one of the most enjoyable events we have been too. Thank you to Havenaz - lovely to finally meet you. Big thanks to all those who also contributed prizes etc on the day.
And a big Well done to CP&W

#3807 Half of our team managed to make the event, the other half was still in transit (the joys of school holidays!). Congratulations to both teams on massive milestones. A great turn out given that so many travelled significant distances - especially the guests of honour! The weather was a blessing and Craig did a great job on the BBQ. As always it was wonderful to catch up with so many. Cheers to haveanez for hosting and for the surprise Pathtag.
Great fun! Thanks for setting this event up! We didn't have time to attend other events this weekend, but we are glad we managed to make time for this one. Always good to meet familiar names and faces!
I attended this one albeit late as I cached my way up here. Great to catch up with some other cachers and to put some names to faces and hear some stories although it was all the old familiar faces that were still here by the time I arrived. Thanks a lot haveanez for arranging the event and glad that I could celebrate with pprass.
Had a great day in the park. Met up with heap of people and then dragged off one of the special guests for some FTFs (go ahead and blame me)
I was very happy to meet pprass and everyone else and even happier to meet up again at dinner.

Hi Peter andCat
We would so love to be with you guys to share on the celebration of the 10,000 quest. Since you are the ones that introduced us to the great game we have enjoyed many times away exploring those places that we would have normally just driven by. The most memorable time away would be to Frazer Island with you. We treasure each holiday we have had and great times we have enjoyed. We appreciate the patience and knowledge that you have shared with us. We hope it all goes well and we will be thinking of you both. Looking forward to checking out some of those Port Macquarie caches soon.
Love to you both
Robyn and James

Thanks for the great day! Pity I was a little late but I still managed to meet a few nice people. Thank heaps.
I arrived at the listed time of 11:30 to find the place packed already.
A big congrats to Marcus Vitruvius and Pprass on their colossal achievement, and a hearty thankyou to Haveanez and DazRascal for their efforts in throwing this party.
Thanks to 101Geo for my raffle prize, and again to Daz for picking it up after I forgot it!

As we are heading north for the next couple of weeks - we thought leave a day early and join in the celebration - so will be up early in the morning.
Unfortunately my plans to get up there to attend have been trumped by a family furniture move.
Hope it all goes very well.
Cheers.

Apologies - will be chasing regent honeyeaters all over Chiltern National Park...
PPrass (&C) - you guys KNOW we would LOVE to attend - you being the one's who introduced us to geocaching!!! Remember us getting bogged and you had to tow us out lol (photo attached) But unfortunately it's just too far to travel for a weekend with homework being the main agenda these days, so we wish you and Marcus Vitruvius all the best for a wonderful celebration and thankyou again for introducing us to this wonderful crazy hobby!!!!!

The four members of Poa4 will be there to celebrate this amazing milestone. Looking forward to it.
I hadn't realised we hadn't indicated our intentions to be there but at least some of the Morris will be represented.
Like The Morris, we have only just realized we haven't indicated our intention to help celebrate this great milestone.
Just over a week to go until 2 iconic Australian cachers log their 10,000 cache at this event! Amazing! I know they are looking forward to sharing this day with all attendees!
A huge thank you to Al & Kirsten from 101Geo who have come on board as our sponsor for the event. Some great prizes on the day - but you must be in attendance to win!
We are extremely grateful we have the support of this fantastic geocaching store, right here on the border.
101Geo will be bringing their mobile store along on the day with some great stock to check out!
The Pathtag Portal has also kindly offered to be apart of the day & are traveling from Bendigo with all things Pathags!
They will be able to assist you with any design & ordering enquires! Thanks again Cerena & Andrew!
Don't forget your chairs, hats, sunscreen & anything you want to have with your sausage sizzle!
If it decides to rain, the shelter is pretty big so we should all stay dry!
Those keen for some FTFs over the weekend - have your alerts on
Don't forget the "Eat Up & Clean Up" breakfast on Sunday morning followed by "The Murray River Rubbish Round Up" CITO Events!
Hope you can make a weekend of it here in Albury/Wodonga.

We have been informed of a cycling race in the Beechworth area on Saturday morning.
No its not the Tour de France but dont tell the race organisers.
Anyone coming from that direction may want to leave early as there are a massive amount of roads closed from 8am.

Mr and Mrs Lost Wanderer and three little juniors will be looking forward to the event.
The Drovers will be the area, and would like to met fellow cachers.
See you there.
See you there.
As long as I remember I think k-wal23 and I should come and meet everyone we are still new to it all so will be great to have some more experienced cachers to chat with
Trying to make it and looks like we shall at this stage!
tigersden let us know about it and we will know no-one as we're new but that's what it's all about isn't it.
Geofamily here - six of us so we'll bring ear protection for everyone else

It would be lovely to attend this special event for both pprass and Marcus, both of whom I know. Unluckily I can't see myself making the trek to Albury just for the weekend, unless a sudden work trip happens to coincide! Congratulations to you both.
hopefully attending with as many TB's as we can get just for Pprass, now where will his caravan be located?
An amazing feat by both teams - we'll be there to pass on our congratulations.
We will be back from our latest adventure by then, so we couldn't miss this,
considering my 1k milestone was at an MV cache and with the man himself.
Might have to book a site somewhere close, the roll-up to this event could be huge!

Sad to miss this one . We met MV at our first event at Yarrawonga. At that stage we were still very green & he took time to answer any questions we had as newbies. He took time to explain things & gave some tips, such as waiting to get 100 finds before placing our first cache to ensure it is a good one. A true gentleman & great bloke that we admire & have really appreciated the legacy of his caches in the area & the effort others go to to maintain them. Also met pprass at Nelson recently. Although we won't be able to make it to the event, congratulations to you both!!! Always enjoy a good local event.
Very nicely done Leonie! The "substantial" prizes sound intriguing .
We will be there for sure so we had better make sure we have 9,999 caches before then
Peter & Cat.

Will be able to attend if one of the adult farmers can jostle a work roster leading up to the event.
Good to see two nice teams being congratulated.
I see where MV's first cache was that nice find in the Botanical Gardens near this event site which would of been a nice first cache. Whilst pprass's first cache was the elephant cache and it is some sized elephant still there too, which was one of our early finds.
The fun will be watching pprass going into panic mode trying to find a quick 400 before the event .
Will inform of numbers closer to the date.Should be able to make it.
