As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. No luck today. It was very dark and wet and despite a torch, the view was not the best. Will try this again next time.

Today was a Feilding Geocache Day! An early start in the company of MJMNZ we set off to “knock off” some of the many new caches appearing in and around Feilding; mostly with success!

#6643. Some people were setting up the rooms at the top of the stands for a party. We felt a bit conspicuous wondering into the stand, but the muggle sitting higher up seemed to take no nice of us. I was pleased to spot the cache as we got to GZl; a prolonged search would have been tricky! TFTC.

Hadn't been here before, and pleased to find we could drive onto the grounds. A muggle was nearby, so we went straight for the hint. Enjoyed the view of the windmills while we signed the log. TFTC.

This is the third time of trying! Even brought another pair of eyes, to no avail.
What am I doing wrong as this is no easy find for me?

This should be easy to find. It may have been taken. I will check on it on Wednesday 6th November.

A day spent geocaching with JonoS to complete some of the new caches around Feilding. Found a couple of puzzle caches and seven traditional caches and 2 did not finds which was frustrating as spent the most time on them.
Searched high and low but no luck and especially frustrating as previous cachers said it was easy and quickly found!! two of us searched for about 30 minutes so may need a hint.

In the area for the Friday Farmers Market and some caching, the Fiance overheard the distinct sound of car engines driving around a track... there was a drifting event nearby!!

We let the boys have their fun for a short while, then before departing we decided to stop to find this one.

There was an event going on inside the venue, but they paid little attention to us as we made a quick retrieval.

Came down here to scope out a possible cache location, and passed here whilst doing so. I took a few minutes to work out how to get to GZ, but then I took the path of least resistance and GZ walked up to me. The horses were out in force in front of the stand, but no-one noticed me! Interesting location, TFTC

Started the day in PN but after a phone call from P n E in feilding to help him out with his new GPS
he headed that way, Have now got P n E on the right track and left them it would be rude not to do some of the geocaches here many thanks

Missed this on my first visit. It was dark and I knew where I needed to be but just couldn't work out how to get to the cache location. Today was a different story. Got here just before dusk and quickly spotted the access way. Once at GZ the cache was a very easy find. Thanks.

This a place we visit regularly to walk the dog. I have known about this cache for some time yet never taken the time to check it off the list. Nice to finally have found it. #TFTC

Mrs Etherlord had an errand to run over here so invited me along. Excellent!
1. Maintenance on Mawatu Rail Feilding - Camo container, stronger magnet and restored back to correct location.
2. Find Horsing around, filling in another dot day. Found it easily enough, but had no pen. Rats! [:(!] Back to the car, get a pen, back to the cache, do the deed, back to the car...
and...
3. Scope out a new cache hide. Been looking for a suitable place for a while now, nothing in Palmy that works, but here? There is a perfect place! New cache being published in a few days, keep your ears on...

A quick, easy find. The difficulty with this cache was finding a park as there was some sort of gardening show on. No muggles bothered us though.

Great easy find

Had to travel to Halcombe today so traveled home via Fielding to log some caches i hadn't got round to getting. I remember many a moon ago racing around this old race track before it closed down. Easy find. Signed log then replaced. TFTC

Tricky - it was late and people had mostly left the Rodeo show, but we managed to sneek in and grab it. Found with Crystal Fairy. TFTC

Managed to do this one at 9pm whilst a rodeo was on nearby. Literally drove in, found the cache and drove out. T4TC. Did with buttels

Took a little while to find the entry point, but once there, hint was helpful. Thanks heaps FTC

Was in Feilding for the Field Days so ended up parked about 45 metres from this cache.

Didnt feel very 'open to the public', with all gates locked, but found our way in via the neighbouring grandstand.Cache is very easy to spot, as the magnet doesnt seem strong enough to do its job. Left it where we found it, might need a little work. TFTC.

Felt a bit intrepid, but completely deserted. Kids enjoyed watching a kite surfer (on wheels) and peeping in at the boxing club. Our 2 GPS lead us to verandah poles by the building past the stand! We must have looked very odd at that point, so clue very useful. TFTC
