Lovely ride on the bike freeway. So so many bike riders and walkers. Little fella (6yo) was laughing at me because he knew where it was and I didnt. Haha
GPS is a bit off. The old tree hint is helpful, as was my mother’s hint to take your medicine standing up: David
We decided to complete a practice walk to Petty's Orchard this morning. I was surprised to see so many apple trees here along the driveway walk into the orchard. Thesmell of fermented 'cider' was still strong in the air in some places.
I was also surprised to see that there was a cache so close by so of course I hada to check it out.
Located the well hidden cache and foraged around for a pen. Found an old one and scratched (6H2} faintly on an empty page.
If needed I have photo proof - for your eyes only. Let me know if you want that.
Thanks for the fun here Team Yarra

Yippee - I looked and looked and looked wider! Opportunistic unplanned and spontaneous- out and about on trusty treadles aka the MTB and on a multi mission but the riding along the trail is so nice here I am. TFTC
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to baluke for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Glad to find this one. Swapped the bullseye domino for a Britney Spears cd insert and a Czech bottle cap. Peace
GPS was a bit off so had us searching the wrong spot for a bit before expanding and then quickly finding! TFTC
The camo here simple but effective and I found this cache quite difficult to spot. But I persevered and eventually spied it.The hint did not really help because there are quite a few of them here.
Found it!
My pa had to get it because I was too short.
Lots of spider webs!

Out for a walk along this trail after gathering some FTFs earlier this morning. The sun is shining, we have donuts right across our COVID board and caches everywhere to find.
Returning to the car now and stopping to grab a few more on the way. A nice quick find at a lovely spot to view the river.
Thanks baluke for the cache.

Cache no. 4 for the afternoon. Such a great area along here - fabulous for cycling or (in my case) walking. Another comfortable find in a good spot. The accompanying photo might not actually be in this spot, but somewhere along the way. TFTC
Another one I think i made harder than it needed to be. No need to climb! Thanks for the cache.
After quite a lot of hunting around the wrong tree I eventually found the cache. A very nice spot and I was lucky enough to have a gap between the muggles. All was in good condition. NTNL and TFTC.
I thought maybe this one hadn't been found for ages as it was covered in webs. Cleared them all off and all good inside. Tftc
I climbed the tree. You don't need to - if I'd read more carefully, I've known that. Once my feet were back on the ground, I found this one quickly enough. And saw this guy taking it easy. Thanks baluke
Discovered by Flukey71 but bravely retrieved by me who battled small black spider to have it in hand and sign log. TFTC
Out on great Saturday morning continuing the caches along the yarra trail . This took some effort to find . Thanks Team Yarra for the adventure
I was a little wary of touching the cache when I first saw it. It looked like it hadn't been disturbed in a while and nature was taking it back. My bravery paid off and it was the cache. Thanks!
Thought this one might be missing looking at all the debris around. But still in good order
A quick easy find, but not too obvious! Grabbed a travel bug that seemed a bit lost as well. TFTC!
Lunch at Pettys Orchard today, so wandered down to the river to pick up some caches. Liked the camo - quite visible, but not obvious. Many muggles passing - might have been better to do this on a wet weekday!
So we decided it was time to drag the kids off their electronic devices and get them outdoors today.
We parked across the river near Lenister Farm and crossed the bridge to access this part of the Yarra trail. A beautiful day for a walk along the Yarra. The muggles thought this also - there were a lot of people out and about today , walkers and cyclists.
This was our second official cache of the day after not really trying at your earlier Questionable Call #17 cache - didn't have our gloves in the tool kit today, hence we didn't DNF it = back for it when we are better prepared another time!
An interesting hide here, which I managed luckily to spot on the way in.
Yes Little Miss, does dress herself! (see photo).
TFTC and maintaining the cache Baluke/Team Yarra.

Fortunately one grown-up was here and the geokids didn't struggle. Unfortunately, we had lost our pen so we scratched our name as best we could with a piece of burnt stick! TFTC!
Well, after looking on the wrong side of the tree, the cache was located and the log signed.
No chance of cache creep here.

Back home for a day, decided to jump on the bicycle for a ride in the unseasonable warmth and pickup a few unfound cache. Once at the GZ using the hint I scanned the area and soon spotted the nicely cammoed cache holding firm. TFTC #720
Had to wait for a lot of muggles to go past before searching, including a group of kids who assumed I was lost because I had the geocaching app open on my phone. After that the cache was quickly found. 13th and last find for the day. TFTC
#1318 - 5pm
I rested in some shade on this warm day.
Had my first snake experience on the way to this cache...
A healthy brown snake.
But I found the cache, sorry for late log

I loaded up the bike this morning into the car and headed over to finish off part of the yarra trail that I hadn't completed on a previous visit maybe a couple of years ago and is was perfect weather for it.
There were heaps of muggles on mountain bikes and walking today so some caches I had to overshoot and get them on the way back. I also headed into Eltham to do a few other caches as well.
This was a nice easy find thanks to a break in the muggles. Very handy having the mountain bike so it can look like you are working on it or having a drink.
Thanks Team Yarra for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

This was a very quick find, although I think retrieval of the log had to wait until a good moment between waves of pedestrians. Was interested to the see the Significant Hike attribute here. I happened walk a fair way today, so it's kinda nice to have that acknowledged, even though any one cache in here is possibly not toooo far from a vehicular thoroughfare. Thanks Team Yarra!
OCW Mrs A and staying just across the way in the Tourist Park. Nice day for a walk and to attempt some of this series. The occasional muggle on foot and by bike passed us but with plenty of time in between to be stealthy. On foot today and enjoying the walk and the location.
Visited two TB's. TFTC Team Yarra.

OCW Aries44 doing some of the series on foot. He has done most of the gabbing in his logs so I won't say much . However really enjoying the series. TFTC Team Yarra.
On an Easter Monday afternoon walk, to exercise off some of the chocolate! The geo-hound is living the new smells and I am discovering a new walking track! Thanks
A bit different from the others found today, and quite well hidden.
I had to clear the cobwebs to get to it.

Grabbed this on our ride back toward Blackburn Road from Candlebark Park. The ground around a few potential hidey-holes had been well-trampled which gave us an indication of where to look, and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC Baluke
This took me a little longer to spot than it should have. I'm putting it down to the two T3.5 caches and the MTB track I'd just been up and down before arriving here.
I was relieved when I saw this, I thought it was gonna be a tree climb! I usually cache on my own and I'm not the best climber.
23/07/2016 12:49 This one was spotted pretty quickly. Lovely, but cold walk, along the Yarra today. Playing 4 Location Based Games!
