As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner attention for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Hello players this cache was easy to find and was obvious where it was hidden but it has been muggled so this one needs to be done again thanks blowerupera2
Found the hiding spot but no cache inside! But disappointing as it looks to have been one of the cleverest hiding spots I've found! Will keep an eye out for when it is repaired and will fill the log out then
Found the piece of wood but actual cache was missing. Searched round , no sign of container.
Found the log cache but no log inside, just part of the container. Searched around nearby for the missing part(s) but no luck. Took a photo of the 'find' .
Found the hide but no cache. Look around to see if it was cast close to the GZ. Will add photo of the hide as proof shortly. TFTC
Cool hide, even reading the clue I didn't suspect the hiding spot at first as it looked like it really belonged there. Favourite point from me
Nice and easy find once the phone decided it was a good idea to work. Spent the last two times looking in the wrong building.... Good one. Loving the 'wood' idea. TFTC
Found it only by chance as it had been moved. Placed back near corner of building.
This is number 16 today for the z1mbos. Guess we will all sleep well tonight! Thanks to our cache buddies anv1l for another enjoyable saturday afternoon.
Came here on a weekend trip to the Manawatu. Found quickly, a very nicely constructed cache. Signed log, TFTC
Repaired and back in place. Hopefully this time it should be a bit more robust. Happy hunting.
Went back since someone found it after my DNF. Now has a new log. Easy find tftc.
7.05am - Found what I thought was cache, co ords good but no bison tube in container. Left new log sheet in bag. SLTFTC
Stopped at the visitor center and asked about a scenic reserve in Ashurst. no! She cried, stay in Fielding and go here. Ok then, at least there was a geocache.
A day spent geocaching with JonoS to complete some of the new caches around Feilding. Found a couple of puzzle caches and seven traditional caches and 2 did not finds which was frustrating as spent the most time on them.
A clever hide and all was well with the container.

When I found it today I accidentally broke the magnetic piece off the top, I am so sorry. It just needs re gluing back on.
Not much fun on a wet day, but we were determined to find some in this area while we were here.
Sneaky hide this one...love it.

We knwe Mr Plod was on the job, so the kids were primed for what to look for. Quickly found by junior cacher aged 9. Very clever. loved it, worth a Fav vote
We were unable to look for this cache last weekend as there were hundreds of people in the vicinity for a cycle race, but today the area was deserted, and one of our granddaughters quickly found the nicely hidden cache. TFTC
Found during a "take the kids out to give Mum some time to herself" caching trip to Feilding.
The GPSr took me straight to GZ and the kids started rummaging for it.I had to stop them when i saw the couple of bits of glass in amongst the leaves and ground cover, but it was a quick find once I started looking. Yes! a blank log!
GZ was a little disappointing, but I am awarding a FP for the way you executed the hide mechanism. Well done!

It would be nice if people actually advised cache was broken! Out of action for repairs. Should be back within 48 hrs.
Log is full. Not quite urgent as there is room for about 4 more logs to squeeze in around the printed text at the top of the log. But the sooner the better...
This going out every day for an up to 3 hour cycle is getting hard. Today I took the day off and decided to do one of the few close caches. I didn't realise how late it was getting ... Arrgh!! 4pm!! On the bike and off to Feilding. Found the cache quickly enough, still daylight, then stopped by Manawatu Rail Feilding to audit the log (so if you haven't signed it you log is goneburger) but still got home in the dark . I don't like cycling 100km roads at night...
But at least I got today's cache. That's all August and a streak now 45 days long!
Found without the hint

Find #1554. Managed to make a few random finds while on a road trip in the Manawatu region. This was only one of two I stopped for in Feilding. Will come back one day with the bike and do a cycling-caching tour. Nice hide. SL TFTC
My neice was the star here. I had looked in a likely place with no luck so we spent 10 minutes looking in various places only for the neice to find it in a place I had searched. TFTC.
Miss 5 stumbled on this while the rest of us were scouring a different area. #nicehide
I parked up on the main road and it looked like I was going to be in for a walk across a muddy paddock. Well the ground wasn't as bad as I had first thought and the cache was soon found. TFTC.
Really liked the placement of the cache, one muggle about, practicing rugby kicking skills...too intent to notice what I was doing...TFTC!!
Plenty of thwacking sounds on the wall nearby as we sloshed our way to this one. TFTC
My first attempt failed completely but second time around it was almost an instant find. The GPS was all over the place but the hint helped. Very nice hide, good disguise. TFTC
Glad to find this one relatively quickly - it could have been tricky. TFTC Mr Plod.
A very clever hiding spot for this cache. The kids loved running up and down the nearby stairs. Only a couple of muggles using the nearby field but they didn't bother us.

Very cool hiding place, I found it after the MR went over the same area and missed it TFTC
Found almost by accident after a few minutes of searching. This one was a true team effort! Nice hide
Had to travel to Halcombe today so traveled home via Fielding to log some caches i hadn't got round to getting. Didn't take long to locate with no one about. Signed log then replaced. TFTC. Gets a fav point from me.
Found while dragging some friends around Fielding to find the local caches...quickly spotted the likely hiding place. TFTC

#5178. A quiet corner of the park. When Troodles was replacing the cache I spotted a muggle approaching, but it was too late to warn here. TFTC.
We were heading for Halcombe and this was pretty much en route. GZ seemed to be in the clearing, so we went straight for the hint as time was limited. Quickly spotted after that. A very well constructed cache, thanks for the effort with it.
No muggles around to bother us, so went straight to it - or close enough. Clue made it an easy find. TFTC
Didn't take too long after reading other posts and the hint. I think the trees threw my GPS off a bit. Nice hide Thankyou
Finally found it after 30 mins of turning over logs and scratching at tree bases in the garden. Co-ords (on an Oregon 550) led to us to the triangular garden away from the building. Re-read logs and hint and tried closer to the building and were rewarded with a quick find. We note that the co-ords have been adjusted already, but may need another look. Thanks for a trip back to Mrs RiffRaffs old stomping ground. TFTC
