I saw this cache and though Challenge accepted. My (1.5/1.5) gave me a starting point of 420 dated 25th Oct.So since that date I aimed for (1.5/2), (2/1.5) and (2/2) as these were the highest on my grid. Today I reach 420 +1(1.5/2) 215(2/1.5) 106(2/2) 100Now to figure out gz and find the cache
On my way to play at the Wingham Music Festival today and took this short detour to claim this grandfathered challenge after not being able to find anything here on a search last year (see below Write note) due to there now being houses and a road here lol. Haven't been back up this way since then when we climbed South Bro not far from here, where the cache has obviously had some maintenance since. Re-did the puzz the other night and made a find today not far from where the old coords were.Looking back on our stats, we had amassed about 55 finds of the 'A' square by just 200 overall finds - probably normal. But that's about when we'd started setting a course for high overall average D/T and everything changed from there. So by about 500 overall finds we'd clocked our first loop of the fizzy and had qualified for this challenge with two squares: the 2/1.5 and the 2/2. In terms of our qualification for the challenge, as of today 19 Oct 2024, we have **2041 overall finds** and qualify with **two D/T squares** having the sum which exceeds our 'A' (92). They are the **2/4 (62)** & **5/5 (33)** squares.Fun fact: I spotted on Cachly a FTF today on the way up here. What is it? A 1.5/1.5... NOPE keep driving. TFTC and challenge and cache maintenance, MAP's.#2041
Just spotted this Challenge...My calcs are...As at 4/10/24...A=98571.5/2 - 27182/1.5 - 25062/2 - 22701/1.5 - 19771/1 - 1130= 10601Its actually just over 5 squares, but still less than the 7 for disqualifying...Which goes to show that the less finds you have, the easier a challenge like this is to achieve!I tried the calcs on finders with more than my 'A' and they were in a similar boat with needing 6 squares of the grid to achieve 'A' or greater, with their current tally.I'll get there one day.
**Found**My A (1.5/1.5) is 1071.5/2.0 is 672.0/2.0 is 49Total 116Didn't calculate location until it had been moved, but somehow still calculated the old coordinates.Once I calculated the new coordinates we were staying at a back yard. On my way up to Diamond Head for the night and decided to stop by here for a look but, going by recent logs, this must be completely gone; GZ has me standing almost in the middle of a T intersection lol.
In terms of our qualification for the challenge, as of 4 August 2023, we have **1629 finds** and qualify with **two D/T squares** having the sum which exceeds our 'A'. They are the **2/2 & 5/5** squares.

Doing some maintenance on the MNC series and was passing by and this whole area has completely changed with the expansion of the estate.
Cache has gone it seems.
Cache has gone it seems.
This gave me more than just a digital sad face. I checked that I qualified before the search. I spent half an hour looking in places I knew were very new just in case it had been replaced after the estate works. But alas, nothing for me here today. I'd love to know if it really is still there or if the new road, guttering, drains, freshly laid turf, new fence, fresh woodchips, etc have displaced it.

I was not sure how this one worked at first and thought there was way too much for me to work out while on a road trip, so I left it to when I had time to read it thoroughly.
Tonight I was sitting around, had a look at some challenges, and saw this one sitting there so I got into reading what I signed.
Ok so that’s not that hard to work out and with a little math I got it in 3, just short of 2, lol. So I guess I qualify as *FOUND* .
Thanks so much for the interesting challenge. I really enjoyed my drive around and I am looking forward to road tripping that way again soon.
My cache total is 1.5/1.5 = 1493
2/2 = 689
2/1.5 = 575
1.5/2 = 515
Total =1769
My Average difficulty: 2.16 and Average terrain: 2.10

On my way to Wangaratta mega and it is a slow drive down as I am stopping at many of the unusual and interesting places. My trip down south is mostly centred on the older caches and ones for challenges or d/t grids, but I also stopped at a few as I passed by.
Not sure where I stand on this one yet, will work it out when I have a little more time. Thank you for placing this cache here.

This is the last cache for the day and one that I have been waiting years to sign. I have been planning to make the trip from Melbourne for some time and so we managed to make it to the Dayboro Mega and thus call in here on the way back. I have been working to make sure that I keep one D/T higher than my total 1.5/1.5 D/T. When I cache with others, the cry isn't "found it" but "2/2" which is the D/T that I have concentrated on. I have been fortunate and actually have a couple of D/T combinations that exceed my 1.5/1.5 total. This cache is being logged with permission. Thank you for the cache and setting this challenge.

Good, and BAD news. MAP's were to recommence at the start of 2020, with a influx of the 10 - 16 year olds in the community of Manning, Then Covid 19 came along to mess things up!
Looks like at least daytime access has been restricted. I will have to check things out next week. (As I'm working, and On Call today, and working Monday.)

Better check on this one guys. Looks like GZ is part of a new housing estate. This photo was taken 30metres from where the cache was hidden!
Found tyftc. On a trip to the coast to improve our D/T rating. Find #1963. See our photos for our qualifying data.
Today we are starting our tiny tour of Australia. Mostly enjoying the area and picking up caches when possible.
We ran across this one, while planning our trip and soon had it solved. And who doesn't enjoy a good challenge... especially when you are Hall of Fame material. Our D/T 1.5 is currently 539; and our D/T 1.0 is at 565. So, although I wish it was a different D/T level, we can beat our 1.5 with just one other D/T.
At ground zero, the search took much longer than it should of. We had looked in the right place and several other wrong places. Then we started reading logs - which TOTALLY mislead our search. Finally with gloved hands in dark places the cache was found!

We do so love a Challenge cache and so several months ago, in anticipation of our current geocaching holiday in this wonderful country we had solved the puzzle. Now at last today we found ourselves in the right area to be able to come and search for the cache. There weren’t too many places to search which was just as well as the cache was extremely well hidden - it certainly should remain muggle free! Once located we signed the log book and then replaced as found. We also qualify for this Found It log being able to beat our D1.5/T1.5 count of 6,910 over 5 other D/T squares - i.e.:
A = 6,910
D1.5/T2.0 = 1,925
D2.0/T2.0 = 1,684
D2.0/T1.5 = 1,486
D1.5/T2.5 = 952
D1.0/T1.5 = 942
Total of 5 D/T above is 6,989
Opps! - forgot to post the proof before going on to log the Mid North Coast Wander that we set out too undertake after having found this Challenge Cache - so now the statistics have changed - oh well, fortunately we still qualify as follows:
A = 6,973
D1.5/T2.0 = 1,943
D2.0/T2.0 = 1,695
D2.0/T1.5 = 1,493
D1.5/T2.5 = 953
D1.0/T1.5 = 942
Total of 5 D/T above is 7,026
Thanks so much for the cache and a favourite point awarded for the good fun challenge. Greetings from Zimbabwe

Well at the moment my A is 543. I have actually needed 7 other squares to exactly equal this. SO at the moment I have failed. BUT I am just writing a note to remind me about keeping an eye on this cache. 2x1.5=131 1x1=109

Have had my beady eye on this Challenge since I first heard of it from the CO who had come to my rescue at another Challenge. Once it was explained how it worked I was keen to qualify for it. I think I already did when I first checked, easy peasy!
When I looked at the categories of qualification I knew I probably wouldn't snag it with one other square and go into the "Hall of Fame" but I'd be happy with an "Honorable Mention" for two other squares, so set my sights on that as the challenge to work towards. I've been a right honorable cache snob for nearly the last year, turning my nose up at perfectly good little D/T 1.5 caches for the sake of this and Captain Terrors Average Challenge. These two challenges haven't been the only ones I've had on the boil so it's been a real juggle to stick to my guns for these and not miss out finding relevant caches for other challenges.
In the end I needed 3 combinations to qualify so missed out on the honourable mention by 18 caches. I probably should have kept a tally board to keep an eye on progress but too late now. On the flip side, there were a few D/T 1.5s that I wasn't going home without on this trip- Virtuals (including Lane Cove), golden oldies and those with a massive number of favourite points so it's been good quality 1.5s. Swings and roundabouts!
*Found*
At the time of signing the log I had 409 D/T 1.5 caches and have qualified using 3 other
D/T combinations- 2/2, 2/2.5 and 3/3 giving me a total of 410.
Finally got the chance to sign the log for this one and like others found GZ a bit of an anticlimax after the efforts of the previous year. My first look had me against the fence but on double checking the coords I found I had plugged in a wrong number. Fixed that up but the new coords had me in the middle of bare ground! I use a phone as a GPS and it doesnt like the heat so I sat in the air con in the car to cool it down a bit before another try. Also tried recalibrating it but it didn't shift so I checked any likely spot with no joy. Feeling hot and frazzled, I rang a previous finder who told me what I should be getting touchy feely with. I had been there but like a previous finder I just needed to go a little further to get CIH.

TFTC,
I will change this to a found when I sign the log.
We are at a local van park tonight and have checked the local caches that we haven't found and our statistics for this puzzle.
I needed 6 other D/T SQUARES (2356) to give me more than my 1.5/1.5 (2159).
Travelling and failed to solve the puzzle last night. Srnt a message to a friend and have the final. No idea what we did wrong but can see we need to start again when we get home.
We will sign the log and change it when we work it out one day.
And to top it all, it's a DNF this morning. No choice but to return one day.

Staying at Harrington for a few days to make a dent in the MNC Wander but had to find this one first before the statistics went pear shaped. The puzzle was a tricky solve but got there in the end. And I'm happy to say that I qualify for the challenge. Screenshot attached.
We called into Harrington this afternoon to find the cache for this interesting challenge. After a short search we revisited some possible spots and we found it.
Unfortunately I FAIL this challenge though we had a successful afternoon discovering Harrington.
Thanks MAPs for this challenge.

We’ve just scraped in with six categories needed to qualify for this challenge. Many thanks to the CO for setting this challenge that we’ve anxiously worked out to see if we could get it. Very happy to get this smilie.
We’ll add our photo with the graph to prove our qualification.
Cheers and happy caching!

With the challenge conditions met and the puzzle solved I went to GZ today, and there was no-one in sight, giving me an easy search. I soon found the container which held a sodden mess that would have once been a log, in a plastic bag left unsealed, and was now unusable. I added a new sealed bag and some paper as a temporary log.
I will claim this cache as * FOUND * as I have 3 other squares: D2/T1.5, D2/T2 and D1.5/T2 that add to 1106, one more than my 1105 total for D1.5/T1.5. Thanks MAP's for a good puzzle and challenge.

Fangsoki and Pprime (P') and I were on a road trip for Easter to the Mega Event and had a list of caches that we wanted to get while we were away.
My numbers at present A=2715
It takes 5 squares to beat that so I can claim a smilie
We were not impressed with the cache location as there seems to be a residence built close to it since the cache was placed. We made a PAF call to check that we were in the right spot.

Heading on the Journey South to OzGeoMuster'18 with Fangsoki and Crew153 in the mighty Suzee, and we targeted Challenge caches as we went. This ended up being our last for this day one (thanks to a bit of confusion over the difference between Harrington and Barrington). Finding it took some time, the GZ didn't look right to us, and it did appear "something" big and heavy had recently been removed.
But ultimately the only real likely spot was checked - again - yet again - and this time turned up a prize.
I qualify needing six gridsquares.
Thanks for placing this cache, MAP's. Found in good condition.

Pprime (P), Crew 153, and I rolled up to this one.
This all felt a bit exposed to us. At first we couldn't find the beast - and stories in the logs about home owners coming out really weren't inspiring us to hunt.
We eventually came up with the prize in a logical spot. We signed the log and high tailed it.
I managed to get 6 grids as required by the Challenge. Don't think that will change anytime soon. TFTC MAP's

Today we cached around Harrington and Crowdy Head to knock off a few of the Mid North Coast Wander.
We got a bit of a surprise when we saw a number greater than 'A' in our grid. The puzzle was solved a while back, but that was before we had 200 finds. Once we arrived at GZ we thought, this can't be right, but after double checking coordinates we started looking and after 1 minute searching in the only likely spot the cache was in hand.

A quick trip south for the long weekend saw stortigirls and I headed for this cache as the last in the area for the weekend. I qualify for this cache with four squares to equal "A". At GZ, there were not a lot of places to look, so the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC

Alas, we FAILED. As of today (23 May 2017), A=6660. The sum of our finds in the other top six (6) cells in the D/T matrix is 6558. We needed the seventh cell to get a sum of 6843 caches. A copy of our D/T matrix for today has been attached to this log.
This afternoon we found the cache for this challenge. The cache and contents were damp and the log was starting to go mouldy. Some attention is required. Thanks MAP's for the challenge. We have to work at increasing the number of our finds which are not D1.5/T1.5.

This one was a must find while down here today. I got a little lost with GZ and was about a street behind correct GZ. Looked about a bit and thought it didn't seem anything to find here. So check again and found I had inputted my co ords incorrectly in GPS. Take two and we headed to another place. Looked very promising and were looking around when a local popped out of his house and eyeballed us. So we took hasty retreat. PAF to get a hint on which GZ was right (because now I was really confused!!). Confirmed second site, and a bit of a hint to nab the find. Returned and found all clear this time-made a quick retrieval, signed log and returned. Then hot footed it out of there (didn't want to be seen again). Now I do qualify with 6 grids (16 short of 5 grids- shouldn't have done so many of the MNCW!!) Pic attached.
Thanks for the challenge MAPs. A fitting challenge cache for my 2000th find.

A day out caching , stopped here in Harrington for a nice lunch and two caches that I needed to find here. So unfortunately I FAILED very close though . TFTC

This one took a while as when Cookie told me of this one it was 2 squares but after a little work the 2/2 D/T did the job with 48 to 46 with a nice easy find at the end once i got the coordinates right (the devil is in the details). A nice way to start a long road trip north.

***Found*** with TOMBI! and grandson while attending the Coopernook campout event. After a DNF yesterday, I got permission to place a new container, as Graham was here also. Last year I had 3 squares greater than the 1.5/1.5 DT, but had not quiet reached the other requirement, ie not up to 200 caches found. With TOMBI!’s persistence I have been doing some 1.5/1.5, leaving only one combination greater by 12, and an other 2 add to greater than A (33 over), so better claim this one now while I can, TFTC
Tftc. Found this one today after just qualifying and only 1 square needed greater than "A". Tnlnsl.
TFTC, It took 5 squares but if I had'nt already completed nearly half the MNCW Series it would have been only 3. Very underwhelming final GZ. I thought this can't be right, scrolled thru a few logs, looked a little deeper and sure enough a cache was found in the middle of no where.
***FAILED*** ............ miserably!
Unfortunately (and we should be ashamed to say but we're not) it took us 11 other squares to equal 1.5/1.5. There were many great 1.5/1.5 caches in that box so no regrets. But we do love a challenge and were happy to scrape into this one. Searching for the cache proved we were dedicated and challenge'd as we couldn't find anything at GZ or in a widespread area. We didn't want to leave this challenge any longer in case we slipped into the dreaded NOTE ONLY category so a check with the CO confirmed we were in the correct spot and it appeared to be missing. With permission we left a temporary container, logsheet and pencil. Another great challenge MAP's, TFTC.

Orrsome86 and I set about a plan to help extend the length of our current streaks: stop doing GC45MM2 Dedicated, or… Challenge'd. That would have been a big trip for just one cache, so this then spiraled into lets go up South Brother as well. So we set off a bit before seven (later then our previous big mission) and after beating the mountain (or did it beat us?), we found the cache, a bonus one and then headed home (returned just after six).
After over shooting some Mexican cuz we got some really good views from south brother, but I did not take a photo and then it rained the the views were not as good. We descended and even though we were both hungry, we came straight to this cache. I told Orrsome on the way over that it was a terrain one and we both laughed as it would be in extreme contrast to what we had just done. We were tired, so when we arrived we were both a little confused, as there was know where it could be. We had read past logs, so we knew the container was broken, so got a snap lock bag and wrote our signatures on the back of a receipt (organised enough to have a bag, but not a piece of paper?). There was a guy watching television in a glass house right next to us, but we had come too far to be scared off. So we went for it. Maybe this is being run over by a ride on mower, so a bison in a rock might be a stronger hide for the location. I like the idea about the cache location, but is easily missed.
I noticed this cache a long while ago, when I noticed the 1.9/1.9 challenge and the two seemed to go hand in hand, so I set off chasing it. After a while just ignoring 1.5/1.5s, I ended up making some pocket queries. It takes four pocket queries just to exclude that ONE square. I eventually got my 2/2 square to exceed A (with 150 2/2s and 136 1.5/1.5s), largely helped by a 30 cache power trail of 2/2s. The only difficulty with this challenge was doing a streak at the same time. I had about three weeks left of non 1.5/1.5 in my immediate area, but were getting harder and harder with the shortening days. So I got Orrsome to drive me out here and put this on to rest. I still plan on doing my streak for a couple more months, so I do not think my square is going to make it, but I loved the challenge.
Thanks for the different sort of challenge and the themed cache!

Finally Tombi and I found this. Now we don't have to worry about avoiding D/T 1.5, 1.5 caches. We had just completed the South Brother challenges and were determined to write our name in the cache container. We signed a piece of paper in the car as it was raining and quickly dropped it in the smashed container.

We needed for squares to equal this after Mega. It was three before!?!
This was a short detour on the way home. It took a while to spot the smashed container with no signable log!?! We left a piece of paper with our signature. The final GZ is not worthy of the challenge I think unfortunately. It was a wonderful challenge!

Teamdfl and I are heading south to the Port Macquarie region for a 4 day week-end of caching.
Today was day 3 for caching. We are continuing our way south to find a cache in every 10km band from our home co-ords.
We are now in the Taree region finding a few challenge caches and puzzle caches. [^]
So teamdfl has been finding'certain caches so she can qualify for this cache.
Where as I on the other hand am stuffed with over 2730 caches in the 1.5/1.5 box. **Failed**
I blame all of those power trails I have done.
Unfortunately the hide location was most disappointing, with so many nearby places to show off this great region the CO placed it there???? It has obviously been driven over as the container is well and truly cracked and everything inside was soaking wet.
Thanks for the challenge cache.

This was day three of our expedition south. Several challenge caches were on our hit list for the weekend. We had been as far south as we needed for the well traveled challenge and we were winding our way back north to Port Macquarie.
I had noticed this challange a few months ago when I was planning this trip. It seemed like a great challenge to work towards. I did not qualify for a find then, but I have been working on it since.
This is not an easy challenge if you have a lot of finds. I just scrape in now based on my stats at the time of logging this one. I need SIX boxes to exceed A. My six boxes total 1763 and A=1727 right now.
I had worked out the puzzle at home, so we only had to get to GZ during our travels today.
I was very surprised by the location of GZ and disappointed to find a wrecked cache. The container was full of water and the log was sodden. We did our best to add our names, but it is not easy to write on mush. [xx(]
I have included a picture of my D/T matrix as it stands today

When I discovered this cache a few months back, I realised I'd get there soon enough, with a bit of work, and I was already on a mission for the 1.9 challenge anyway. As a plus, there was a puzzle to tantalize the grey matter too.
My stats qualified just recently and it was time to schedule a trip here, about 240km from home (Does that add to "Dedicated"?). I would have got there sooner if several COs hadn't rewritten history and changed their caches to 1½/1½, after I'd found them[:(!] Right now A=382 for me and my 2/2s are at 392 (see pic).
Today, I made a trip north to bag a few unusual caches. I arrived at GZ just after dark and wondered where a cache could be in this seemingly open area. Ah! One possibility and there it was, covered in wet, slithery, crawly things. I wiped it off and opened it to find quite a bit of water inside and an unsealed log bag with a very soggy log. I tried to sign with my usually capable pen but just succeeded in making a few red marks. I dried everything as much as I could but the cache in in serious need of some TLC. I guess the bag or something else had fouled the seal. Anyway, job done! Dedicated? Challenge'd? Who knows.
Thanks for the challenge MAP's. Enjoyed it!

Had a trip down to Harrington today to do a few caches.
Had a little trouble working out the puzzle but with a little help from the CO & an amount of good luck I managed a correct answer.
FAILED but I'm happy to get a smiley. Needed an extra 15 squares to add up to my 1.5x1.5
Thanks MAP's for another interesting puzzle

We had hoped to get to Harrington earlier as we wanted to pick up a challenge cache and do part of the power trail but a series of events meant we ran out of time.

This is the sort of challenge to like as there are too many 1.5/1.5 caches for our liking so we try not to do too many as it dilutes the averages. Having said that they are our most found combo but at least we get a 'HONOURABLE MENTION*as out combined 2/1.5 (385) and 2/2 (386) finds just beat the 1.5/1.5 (752) finds. This challenge certainly gets harder the more caches you find particularly if you are centred in an urban area. GZ was a little odd and you need to watch the muggles in the house over the road so park carefully to block there view. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC MAP's

"FAILED"... At this point in time, our 1.5 x 1.5 totalled exactly 300. We required 8 squares in our grid to get to this amount.
Will try this one again down the track sometime when we have a few more finds under our belts.
TFTC. Really good concept. (Snapshot of our grid to date posted, as requested.)

After a few aborted attempts in planning a weekend on the Mid North Coast the caching gods finally aligned allowing Farmer Frentzen, Hoojar and myself to get away for a caching weekend.
Our goal was the Mid North Coast Wander and any other surrounding caches. Day 2 of our adventure proved to be our biggest. This was one of 150 caches we found today.
Thanks

There were a few false starts, but finally the pieces had all fit, and a weekend was set in stone. Farmer Frentzen, The Rats and myself were heading to the Mid North Coast. Our goal: The Mid North Coast Wander (along with a few extra caches thrown in for good measure.)
We had made it to Harrington for lunch, so we took a break from the Trail and went in search of many of the local hides. After discussion around the dinner table at Browngang's house in the evening, I realised that I qualified for this find. Yay!
Cheers

# 4584. Caching today with Robmc. Having done more of the MNCW this morning and a few caches at Coopernook we decided to continue to Harrington to find a few more that have popped up since we were in the area late last year.
FAILED, FAILED, FAILED - alas and alack! The odds were stacked against me even more having just finished the MNCW this morning. Need 10 other squares to surpass the 1908 1.5/1.5 square. Very sad.
Thanks MAP's

After spending the morning finishing off the other power trail in the area with Bettyboo, we had lunch at Coopernook Pub and made our way down to Harrington.
An interesting slant on the puzzle. and an interesting hiding place, not sure how long it will last as the houses continue to be built.
It took me 5 other squares to match "A" - too many power trails I suspect! (Yesterday didn't help!)
Thanks, Robmc.

Like this kind of challenge. Now I see other logs, definitely NOT
easy.
Our 1.5/1.5 is at 25
2/1.5 = 40
2.5/1.5 = 35
3/1.5 = 40
Now to make the trip

FAILED. There, is that large enough? A couple of weeks ago while in Harrington I could have got this one in four other squares. Today, with a couple of powertrails more under my belt, my stats are terrible. In a weekend recently I found over 300 caches and nearly all of them were 1.5/1.5 or less[B)]That took a stab at the stats!
Oh well, thats the way the Cookie() crumbles. It takes me 8 squares to exceed my 925 in the 1.5/1.5

Found on a day out with Marcus Vitruvius up to and around Harrington and Taree. This was a bit embarrassing as we had to phone a friend as we were looking on the wrong side bit we got there in the end. To be able to log this one I had to add up 5 squares. I've attached a picture of my grid.

When I first saw this cache come online, I liked the idea of the challenge as it was something different, but at the same time had a slight chuckle at the FTF rules which almost had me tempted to come up and claim. With the day off work, Big Matt and I decided to head north to find a few caches around Harrington and Taree, and we soon arrived at this GZ which had us scratching our heads for a few moments. We became a little too focused on where the cache was most likely to be, rather than trusting the coords where the cache was. We rang a previous finder just to confirm we hadn't transposed a number incorrectly, and they pointed out where we should have bee looking. I like different and innovative challenge caches, and this was a good one. Managed to qualify for the challenge with 4 grids...but only a little shy of three.

While I had solved this a while ago I didn't want to cycle out here for just one cache, so waited for Cookie to get his (and my) JPEGs ready for this one.
We performed some maintenance for MAP's. It will need to be moved to a less exposed position I guess.
So, *** QUALIFIED ***
With 3 other squares greater than my 1½/1½ total of 26 caches, from 354 caches found in 7½ months.
They are D2/T1½=61; D2/T2 = 46
And D2½/T1½=38
Thanks Cookie for the screen shot.

1700 GAFF1 We were on our way up to Diamond Head to help out with another Pathfinder group (Port Macquarie) on their camp out there.
Yesterday I thought that there would be NO WAY of getting this cache today as I'd planned for so long.
As I was returning from Coopernook State Forest Thursday night, and as I was heading to work Friday morning I knew there was something drastically wrong with the car, but being a nurse and not a mechanic I wasn't sure on how to diagnose the problem of the whining noise from the car.
So, a replacement gear box later (and labour by a fellow geocacher) and I'm back on the road! A true Godsend compared to what happened to another of our cars years ago.
** Find ** With only 2 other squares required to equal an 'A' of 275.
The squares needed were 1½/2 - 148, and 2/2 - 128, totaling 276 - phew.
Brought through for mileage: 3 Bros, All Season Caching 2007 Summer, Aust Light Houses, B 2 B ingot, Celtic cross, CITO tag, Iconic Bridges, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, Pirates Booty coins, Happy Daffy, Travel Bug Dog Tag - (Budgie), and N-JOYO TBs and trackable shirt.

My, how the MNCW series drops ones ratings! (only a small bit though, both dropped 0.01)
Fortunately, as far as this cache is concerned, I still qualify with 3 squares. 3 squares add up to 1520, Square "A" = 1489. YAY.
Pic is after doing the MNCW series.

Found at 2:08:00 PM with mtbikeroz and Tankengine. Joint *FTF*.
I'm not sure how I feel about bestowing the FTF, but I suppose I'll take it and could have been first to log too, but for a few days. I believe I qualify with two squares (but this is about to change as I log the MNCW series) I qualify for an honourable mention. I'm not sure how soon it will be before you get a hall of famer. I'm not sure if I am a terrain 5 junkie, but I do have a fair share with about 2% of my finds being terrain 4.5 and above (well before doing the MNCW series!)
The two squares are D2/T1.5 (236) + D2T2 (279) = 515 > A=503. Image attached
Thanks MAPs, ineresting challenge.

Well I don't know if I am a terrain 5 junkie, but I do have 43 caches terrain 4.5 above. Joint FTF with Tankengine and mtbikeroz. We all qualify I believe. Full log with photos to follow. Liked the puzzle.
Chooo ooo *FTF* with Noikmeister and Mtbikeroz! *Found*
Lucky we did this at the START of the mid north coast series... So at that time I had 3 squares adding to the required amount! (See pic). I now note that AFTER the MNCW my stats have dropped a little! - Looks like I need to do some more 5 star caches!

Cooeeee, a joint *FTF* with Noikmeister and TankEngine. *Found* and signed log.
Thanks for the challenge:
Figures as follows:
(D2T2 = 522) + (D2T1.5 = 521) + (D1.5T2 = 420)
= 1463
which is > 1355 (My D1½/T1½ = 'A')
Pic attached.

It might seem strange to some, but I'm glad it is 'Found'. Good on you Peter and Cat for the "First to Log". This being my closest Unfound @ 24km from home (and only half hour drive) I will leave it for a time when I need to grab one while On Call (maybe) and still need either a Calendar Day or to keep the 'Streak' going. (My other closests are 26km, but almost an hour drive - each way)
If ANYONE knows of someone like "pan_berlin" PLEASE give them a personal invitation to make an attempt for the FTF at 1/ !

We are sure that there must be some T5 'Junkies' in Australia!
Congratulations to pprass for the First to Log!

Found at 2:46 PM GAFF4. We needed 4 grids to exceed "A" and we decided to do the cache now, as it would have taken us possibly months of just targeting other than 1.5 D/T caches to do it in 3.
The method to work out the co-ords was a double whammy which luckily I was able to get some guidance when I met the CO at his CITO - so see what picking up rubbish achieves .
The cache was found in a very unlikely spot that will not survive when the estate is extended.
Thanks MAP's.

Thanks to a prominent local cacher checking the stats of the link it has come to our notice that the Top 10 cachers need a minimum of 4 other squares to achieve = 'A'.
As a result the FTF requirement now includes 3/, which means if you need to use 3 other squares to = 'A' then you will be qualified to claim the FTF, if you are the FIRST.
And we will keep a running addit of those who get it at 1/ or 2/.
For those wondering, Grahame Cookie will be waiting until after Easter (he says), and MVMtBiker after his 150 day streak, so you still have chance.

With noone having Found it yet we have upped the number of caches you need to have found to qualify, to approximate the number we have.
(That is, from the initial 100 x caches required, to now being 200 x caches), so, come and get it before we get going on another 'road trip'.

Interesting Challenge. We are currently sitting on "4" so we will leave it for a few months to see if we can get it down to "3".
