I was riding in the area today and stopped to check on the cache. The mint tin I left last year is no longer present. The owner doesn't seem to be responding to the need for maintenance.
Had a thorough search of GZ and being tall, I could see up top. I also recorded a number of times moving the dirt etc but I think it has gone.
Will need a check by the CO

Quite sure I had GZ got a boost up for a very good look but nothing to be found =(
Easy find on an early morning bike ride. I thought I'd need my bike to stand up on but I found I could see and reach the mint tin in the fork/hollow of the tree without needing any assistance. Fortunately nobody around this morning, not even any dog walkers, which is how I like things to be when searching for caches in parks. Thanks for the cache Lachlan1.77.
Gee, just as well I am as tall as I am! Only just reached! Put back, but was visible, pushed back, but still visible - maybe I just hadn't noticed on the way in, as I wasn't even looking for it until I got there, but hoping that it will only be noticed by tall people
Log very wet and lttle of it available. Left a small piece of paper with my details. Needs a new log and protection from water.
In the area this afternoon so decided to have a proper go at this one.
Got to GZ and soon realised I was about two feet too short, I could touch the cache with my geostick but couldn't flick it up enough to grab it. Scratched my head for a bit and went back to the van and found myself a small step.
I'm sure the muggles playing with their dogs nearby thought I was a bit strange walking across the park with a large tub in my hand. it still ended up being quite a stretch but I manged to retrieve the cache in the end. It was a lot easier to put it back though.

On my way to a meeting SOR today, of course I have to cross unchartered territory. parked the GeoJazz and had a pleasant walk to GZ. Hazarded a guess and it was right. TFTC Lachlan1.77, and replacing same, K.B.!
Slow ride in torrential rain mid morning today. I'm not sure how I've not logged this find months ago when I returned to find it. I was riding past today to get to Cluedo and sheltered nearby in a futile attempt to stay dry. After reading logs, I thought I'd check. The cache didn't seem to be in its original location so I left a mint tin. I didn't sign the log since my name is on the old log. Hopefully the cache will get some more finds since it hasn't had one in months.
I went out to Willetton to pick up a costume for Halloween but found a few caches beforehand. I had to sttrreetttttcchhhh for this one. TFTC
Spent the morning, caching around Willetton.
We visited a variety of parks, and cache hides.
Most were well hidden and in good condition.
Thanks for the cache, Lachlan1.77.

finish work and off to find my daily caches....I found this quick with a soccer game in action. TFTC
Our plan was simple... take geo grandson...sit him on Mr FWD's shoulders... geo grandson finds cache. TFTC. We needed this for the August challenge.
shorty people beware .......... we r both too short and didn't bring the step ladder or crate and forgot to read logs before we arrived, so what to do? with 2 heads thinking we found a stick we got a fold up chair we stood on the chair and Dragged it out with the stick tftc
No joy! No joy! I've been reading the logs and I was definitely at the same tree as kbinuk2005. The tree with the hole in the middle. Mws turned up after a while and as he is taller than me he had a go using the tools that we had ... telescopic mirror .... telescopic magnet etc ..... still not luck. I wasn't using using the gps, though ... (I used the phone.) We thought about coming back with a ladder .... (We are still thinking about coming back with a ladder ... I don't know how kbinuk2005 climbed the tree ... We need a ladder .... No, we won't draw attention to ourselves but will use the gps next time to make sure that it's the right tree) Sigh!!
Had to use a bit of improvising with what junk was lying in my car, but got there in the end
Went with adam111316 to look for this one; good thing I did since my 5 feet was definitely not sufficient for the reach. We located the cache location pretty quickly, just had to improvise for tools once it got to getting it in our hands. Wrote our names on the back of the log page since the front had run out of room.
Manage to get this one but only just. the log is wet but still able to sign log. TFTH.
Could not move the drink fountain to use so had assistance from Keego.
This hide will always suffer from wet logs due to water not draining away. High maintaince needed.

Out and about in the area with Amstradkid on cache hiding mission, having completed this quite quickly we decided to scout a few smiley face before we went home. A bit of rock/paper/scissors/lizard/Spock and we soon had the right configuration to retrieve the cache, SL TFTC Lachlan1.77
Found it with my daughter standing on my shoulders. I thought we were looking for a black cow (bison!) we need to get with the lingo!
Picking up some more of Lachy caches. I'm not short but my arms were not long enough for this one without some elevation under the feet.
Thanks Lachlan1.77.
Thanks Lachlan1.77.
Clan Gunn must be about 5 metres tall to have to bend down to get this cache!!! I had to climb up on my bike and even then it was quite a reach. Thanks for the cache
Arrived at gz with iluvtrekking to be faced with a quandry of who was to do the climbing. Eventually geo-hubby offered to be the step while I climbed on his back.
After using Mr Richlink as a step ladder the cache was recovered and the log signed. TFTH.
Walked here with geobro and geomum and my bro had to stand on my back to get this one !!! Otherwise it was great fun and captured a munzee while I was there !
Out with skippy 46 today and as she is tall i knew this one wouldnt be a problem for her to get. Got the crate out the car but really didnt need it, quick find TFTC Lachlan1.77
Out with ooh yeh doing a caching run and this was on the list. Arrived at park to find 2 muggles walking their dog towards us, so we waited for them to pass then grabbed the crate out of the boot invade it was needed. As we proceeded towards the tree the dog decided to have a P on it just to confirm that it was the correct tree. Being tall I managed with a good stretch to reach the hiding place and retrieved the cache. We signed the log and returned, with a good stretch.

Had arranged to meet up with Everlasting for a day of caching, starting with the new ones around Wellard/Orelia. We cleaned up there, then continued further north around the Willetton area. Once at GZ we found that neither of us had the ability to retrieve the cache with what we had on us. Fortunately there is a verge pick-up in the area soon, and I managed to ferret out an item that helped me with our problem. Used the CO's guidance on how to replace it though. Thanks for the fun Lachlan1.77
I should've teamed up with the MM; FelixII are really onto something there. To cut a long story short, I actually climbed the tree using my bike and a chin up and I could neither see nor feel a bison. There is actually a hole with some soil at the back of the "ledge" but it didn't seem to be hurried there either. Maybe I was searching the wrong tree. Will watch to see it get found before returning. Thanks.
Hooray, finally a day to get out and about caching. Organised to meet up with The Machman and head south today. Took a little while to find a place on the map where we both had lots of caches we needed to find.
Headed out with a list of 36 caches to tackle.
Hmm MM managed to reach this one. but standing on my tip toes I was able to replace the cache, but wasn't sure if it was correct so MM moved it to a slightly better place.

Out on a days Caching with Mrs Felix on an all to rare visit SOR.
My unfound caches are getting a little out of hand in the area, i could spend a week caching down here
and not make a dent in my "to do" list.
Certainly a stretch to get this one, an unusual GZ, but found easily enough.

No suitable sticks left to extract this one so down onto one knee so Mrs J could gain the extra height required by standing on my thigh!! Resorted to plan B and threw the cache back into its hidey location. TFTC Lachlan1.77
Couldn't feel this one at first then used the stick left by a previous cacher and managed to get it to a place we could pick it up from.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
First find of the night, nice and quick, despite not being able to see the cache, put my hand on it straight away. TfTC
I suffer slightly from short man's disease, so yep I had to improvise to get the cache. TFTH

A nice afternoon to be out caching, and this was my first stop for the afternoon. I soon worked out where the cache was, and stood back and I could see it. I did a few jumping leaps, and stretched out as far as I could, but couldn't quite reach it, so I used a stick to help, and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache Lachlan1.77!
