Found it , I was waiting for the 2 women with the laptop to move on, but they never did. So hopefully, and with a little stealth, I found and signed this one. Tftc
Prior to setting off on our early morning walk we entered the given data, came up with a feasible GZ and headed off to seek out the cacheBingo! In the very first place we lookedAll found in good condition. Log signed and returned as found before being on our wayMany thanx to #SEALTeam4 for the cache and ongoing maintenance
Found by The EmpireThe Empire cruised across Victoria's vast landscapes, a journey fuelled by anticipation and the thrill of reconnecting with The Rebel, their paths converging in a legendary meeting and a Parma at the pub in Warragul. As I entered the park, the crisp, cool air greeted me, and a thin mist lingered over the picturesque landscape, adding a touch of enchantment to the scene. The park's pathways, winding through lush greenery, were slightly damp from the recent rain, creating a soft, earthy scent that mingled with the fresh winter air.I took my time strolling along the well-maintained trails, enjoying the quiet solitude that winter brings. The ponds, partially shrouded in mist, reflected the muted colours of the season. Ducks paddled lazily on the water's surface, seemingly undisturbed by the chill. No troubles here finding the cache, on to the next one. Thanks for the cache #SEALTeam4.-M
I needed to find a multi cache today in order to fill in a missing calendar date for [RoamingHowie's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=24963346-56c5-4daf-8308-a01f60f5a5ba&wid=6a725450-9b6f-4892-abca-126a7026759c&ds=2) [WCW - 95% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z59M)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z59M) and this one has been on my list to try and find for awhile now.I have gone caching in the Wilson Botanic Park a couple of times now, but I started with the caches on the other end of the park and have always run out of time before I could attempt this one, but today I decided to change that and head straight to this cache on my arrival. I quickly was able to spot the wishing well on arrival and once I arrived I got my degrees and headed over the 16 meters. Well what I thought was 16 meters. My initial spot led me to an area that had a few spots, but after a good search, I could not locate any cache. Well that's when I looked down at my phone again and apparently I hadn't let my phone stabilise as it said I was actually only ten meters away...*Oops.*So I then went a bit farther where I spotted a few more likely spots and after another good search this time the cache was found!Unfortunately at this time of year the rose gardens aren't really growing and so I couldn't enjoy the gardens, but it also meant that no muggles were either and I was able to make my search without any interruptions.A big thanks goes to [#SEALTeam4](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=18fc59a9-b243-44f2-bd05-f52686184cfa&wid=c62fa3bf-de3d-496d-9c1e-9687b005fb73&ds=2) for continuing to maintain this cache for me to find today. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The cache container was in good shape. All of the inner contents were nice and dry and the logbook was clean with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas. Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained. We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Somewhat sadly, today was the day we all had to head home, us for an appointment but we will soon be back.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them. This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache #SEALTeam4.**SKI Pair****
10 minutes looking at 220 and then realised it was 320. no luck after 20 mins still
24 December 2023 5:35 pmOut and about with Brain this afternoon, cleaning up the Berwick area a little bit before heading on over to PinkPiggy7's annual pre-Xmas celebrations. With myself wanting to clean up the gardens a bit we were off on foot in a race against the clock...... but turns out we had a little bit more time than expected as I didn't read the daylight saving opening hours..... ah well all in all the walk in the gardens was good fun with only one snake spotted this time. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
Thanks team for a fun little multi. Perfect coordinates and an early start before the crowds arrived made for an easy find and sign. TFTC.
At the start the GPS couldn't workout which path we should be on.Found with D@geoThank you for the hide K_Wolf
Found with gwd.aussie.A beautiful morning with the park already being enjoyed by two and four legged visitors but still quiet enough for a stealthy find. Thanks K Wolf
The rain stopped just as we arrived thankfully and this was our first destination. TFTC!
Today we were in Hampton Park clearing out my Uncles house getting it ready for sale after he has gone into aged care. We needed to take a quick break and Dromaniax needed a few specific caches to get the current Wheel of Fortune Souvenir completed so a quick look at the map and this area had all the requirements he needed so of we went.
Our plan of attack was a quick loop of the lap to grab the Adventure lap way points and that had up too close to this Multi not to give it a go and after projecting we were soon on the hunt. We were spotted by the ranger who knew what were were looking for as she had cache in the past and had found this multi previously.
I found and signed in the log while Dromaniax had a chat to the ranger.
Thank you K_Wolf for the MUlti

Out an about with Sims_family helping him with some removals and we decided we needed to take a break so this park had all the required types we needed to qualify for the latest souvenir. While looking for this cache a ranger called out to us and discussed Geocaching. She hasn’t cached for a while and was interested the Casey council promoting it and she said she may get back into it.
Thank you for this Multicache

A new skill learnt today on coordinating projections. I enjoyed the find! What a clever spot! A favourite garden we often come to enjoy!
A day in the Wilsons park with my friends trying to find some of the caches..

Spent a lovely afternoon caching at Wilson’s Botanic Park to gather points to complete the May challenge. First time visitors to the park and very impressed. We stopped for coffee and quickly worked out the location for this cache. Found on the way back to the car.TFTC
I needed a Letterbox cache and a Multi today for different challenges that I am working on so I came over to *Wilson Botanic Park* for the Letterbox as most of those remaining for me nearer to home are not easily accessible!
So it was extremely convenient that this Multi was here so I could collect both targets with the one visit. Easily worked out and easily found...
Thanks **K_Wolf** for this cache.

In the kindest of ways what a prick of a cache. Nearly a thorn in my side but I persisted. Now to smell the roses. tftc
Out for another caching day with tiz13 and after the nearby event we have plans for a geo tour around this place while searching for the cache we met some other cachers looking for the same thing l liked it when blind side yelled out found it we all happily signed and replaced then chatted for a while then went our own ways... TFTC
Following a nearby event Kashbound had suggested we explore Wilson's Botanical Park. This was the 1st cache we attended to locate as we arrived I had the way point worked out fairly quickly that's to a particular app, locating the cache took a bit of pondering we had the right idea but with so many muggles it was kind of hard to search. This place is super busy on Sundays. Thankfully 2 other cachers turned up so we worked together, cache was soon located at signed. We then went of to explore this great humungous park.

Not sure how I missed this one last time, but a huge thorn in the hand was a big distraction that time. ThAnks for the multi!
Such a beautiful day to be out geocaching with my mate TBS. It’s his Birthday you see, so when he was the first to find it, it was quite fitting I think.
A few muggles around being a Sunday. We had even bumped into a couple of fellow geocachers searching for the same cache. A nice little chat and they had given us some geo advice.
Will return to this park when I have more time

Heading to Trafalgar for a couple of days relaxing and of course geocaching we decided to stop off here to explore the gardens and grab a few caches. We decided to try and get as many different cache types as we could today and this multi was the perfect way to start. After guessing the vicinity of gz we noticed two people with devices in hand looking a lot like they were searching for something. We got chatting and of course they were fellow geocachers. Four sets of eyes are better than one and eventually the prize was located and we all shared the benefits, another smiley face for all of us. Nice little multi with the perfect place for a hide. So many muggles around today but we pretty much went unnoticed. TFTC
Time for a Sunday morning adventure. I teamed up with OzHockeyChick to head down to Frankston for the CITO followed by a handful of select caches.
Finally a chance to redeem a handful of DNFs in this park. This one wasn’t an official DNF as we had to stop looking because we ran out of time before the gates closed.
Today was a different story and we soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks #SEALTeam4 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

I had been here a couple of years ago, and made the projection but came out empty handed. This morning I was back again after Manfred's birthday. LetThemEatCache and I were hunting for this cache when suddenly CeeJayDeeno appeared. "Have you found the cache?" I called. Haha, I then suddenly spotted it – right there in Found it in CeeJayDeeno's hands!
Thanks for the cache K_Wolf

Team SALTECO (Snips and Co, and me LTEC) decided to hang around the gardens today after Manfred S. Crocodile's Birthday Brekkie, to see how many of the various geocaches hidden we could find. S'n'Co had already visited this park a few years ago with various success, but today was my first visit. Strolling down from the nearby newly released virtual, we did the projection, had a look but couldn't spot anything from the 'obvious' side. So as we go around to approach from the other side, we spot CeeJayDenno & crew emerging with sheepish grins. Luckily we hadn't searched too long, as CJD had the cache in his hands. All good. We noted the sneakiness of the hide and replaced as instructed.
Thanks for placing K_Wolf & #SEALTeam4 for the ongoing upkeep. Cache on!

After attending a fabulous brekky event in these gorgeous gardens to celebrate the birthday of the beautiful Manfred, Chook, accompanied by GoodLook and The Dame, found this multi cache on the way out. Pity the roses weren't out yet - it would be beautiful to walk along here when they are all in full bloom. But I'm sure we will be back. TFTC K-Wolf / SEALTeam4.
Found with CJDenno and Robert740. We were walking to the car and saw a quick easy multi. We solved the simple puzzle and went straight to GZ. We found the container safely tucked away and we logged our names in the logbook. Right as we were returning it, some other cachers rocked up to find the cache. We had a quick conversation and then we left for the CITO.

Attended the event with PrezDough and Robert740 and crucified myself on the nearby ParkRun.
On the way out, we quickly stopped and made the find for this one.
Just as I was returning it, LTEC and SnipsnCo were zeroing in.
We had a quick chat and disappeared in different directions.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 3 TB.

While waiting for others to arrive, echidna44 and I did the projection and searched unsuccessfully. When joined by pinnacle333 the search extended and then 2 caches were found further away. Removed the second container TFTC K.Wolf
This one took us a little while to crack! After a decent effort and many thorough searches.. we finally located the cache. TFTC!
Out with au.fait and pinnacle333, we were celebrating a special birthday in these beautiful gardens.
We did the projection and started our search, which finally produced two caches, quite a few metres apart. A very well hidden cache, thanks K_Wolf.

Apologies for the late log… found this on a family day trip with The Welder and our minis back in 2020.. for many reasons it was a tough day and nothing went as planned…let’s just say.. kids fighting (and tough in a blended family..particularly in early days), an accident that thankfully wasn’t as bad as it could have been, delays and lateness, grumpiness and challenges… all in a normal day hey! Needless to say… I forgot to log this one. Thanks for the cache.

Came with Brookelouise148 today. Had a nice walk though the rose gardens. It’s further than you would think. Nice hide!!
Out on my own today meeting up with the bushwalking group. Never been to the park before but really looking forward to having a good walk through it looks absolutely amazing. Thanks for the cache #SEALTeam4
Found with the kids whilst on a walk through the park this afternoon. Got lucky. No projection made, just used the hint and managed to spot it. In good condition.
DNF yet again for this one, I dunno what it is but I cannot seem to locate this one
Perusing the map for a caching excursion while visiting mum not far away and see I’ve not logged this “memorable” little hide! Like a lot of folks, I found it after way too long and several metres further on…TFTC and the FUN! Really nice surprise.

I have tried many times over the last few years to visit this area, even tried to convince my work to come down for a field trip but it never eventuated. But today Family Perpetuallylost visited the Wilson's Botanic Park this morning to spend some time looking around. And having some caches to find was a nice bonus. This was a nice one to start the journey with a quick find just a few metres further on than where the GPS was projecting. Thx to K_Wolf for all the caching fun we had this morning.

We searched for so long we ended up taking a break and having lunch under a tree. Read through the logs and with renewed optimism, Steve eventually had his hand on the cache. It’s a beautiful area all year round, so to spend time amongst the gardens is an absolutely pleasure.
Thanks K_Wolf for placing this cache and #SEALTeam4 for the maintenance in keeping this one going.

Found @ 9:53am with Fore! and the Raspberry Crew after doing the Wilson Botanic parkrun
Last one before getting back in the car, there was some gardening muggles doing some work but they were none-the-wiser as we did the projections with Raspberry Vinegar making the find this time. A lovely garden with so much colour, another favourite for me!
Thanks again #SEALTeam4

This was a great little offset cache. After 4 of us (not me!) did parkrun, the 7 of us (geohounds x 2 included) went to the well, and I was a little deterred by the great volunteer workers pruning the area... it not so much that I would abandon the search! Did the distance calculations and then decided where to look. Found with no troubles in a good spot, hidden well and not with issues.
Liked this one very much. Thanks for placing it.

We searched high and low and admired the roses but no avail. We would love a small hint
I have replaced the container and added a little camouflage to hopefully keep it safer from removal. I’ve also moved it very slightly due to some new rose interference in the previous spot.
Was in the area today so decided to head over to this park for a few caches, unfortunately I couldn't find this one after 10 - 15 minutes of searching high and low, maybe I am just not familiar with the local hiding styles or perhaps I got the projection wrong ...
Finally! After many attempts, we got it. Helps that the place was almost desolate. Only a few roses left to smell. I love coming here in Spring. frmen1 reckons that I'll sniff up a bee one day. TFTC
The cache has been put back closer to its original position after having its fixing method and log sheet replaced.
A quick and easy find.
Plugged the required information into my app and soon had the cache in hand.
Log is wet and I dare not wipe it dry!

While out and about searching for caches, this one was found. We looked for this one before heading off to do the others in the park with no luck. On our way out of the park we stopped for a second look and tim_amy made the find. It definitely helped that he had the height advantage.

This cache has been another one I have visited her in the park on several occasions but tonight I had a better look and was able to find the cache.
The log book is quite wet but was still able to sign. Would be nice to come back to see the roses in flower as this is a nice part of the park. Thanks for another type of cache in the park it was fun

Lovely morning for a walk in the gardens, even if the wrong time of year for roses. Had a DNF on this one last year and aborted another search earlier this year when I got bitten by something unseen as I scratched around. This time I changed my search for a quick find. TFTC
After a very long sleep in this morning in a lovely warm and comfortable bed, Rex and I had a quiet but tiring [)] day walking around the Wilson Botanic Gardens [^]
We started with a chicken and coleslaw picnic brunch before entering the gardens and then left the area at 6pm as the sun set [)] and still had not finished all the caches in this park [)][xx(]
So I decided I'd be back again in the morning in an effort to try and find all the caches in this park!
The only real shame was that with so many dogs in here, there was nowhere that the dogs could be let off lead to play together and run themselves ragged
Today I found 5 caches and had 1 DNF
This took way longer than it needed to as we came in, did the projection and then spent ages searching that area for the cache.
About an hour later, I made a PAF and was given the hide style and within minutes I had found the cache... which according to my GPSr was about 20m odd from my projected GZ [?]
Still my name is now in the log book and that's what counts

Out caching with my friend BonnyBlack This is certainly a nice garden in Wilson Botanic Park. He provided all the expertise to hone in on the location , but alas there was no cache to be found .
