I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.

15-May-23
Hi Weirdisgood

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

We cottoned on to where this was supposed to be fairly quickly, and saw several hint items. 20 minutes of searching revealed nothing however. Oh well…

19-Jan-23
Tried again to find this cache, even brought a small stool and gloves with us, but no luck today either.

Out today with [JordanD125](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=d447c422-3a9c-47f1-8ab9-9610b3913050) doing a bit of last minute Christmas shopping for geocache finds.
Stopped at this cache while heading north however after a bit of a search, a read of some logs followed by a bit more of a search we managed to successfully find absolutely nothing!
We were not wanting to invest too much time at this early stage of the day as we have a few finds we are planning to attempt and not much time to achieve them. Therefore we decided to return at a later date after I recover from my temporary cache blindness!
Will add this one to my watchlist and see how future cachers get on.

22-Aug-22
Thats a tight gap

05-Aug-22
Tried to find this the other day (forgot to log right away)

Think I found the right area but it didn't look like there was anything in there

Didn't want to try feeling around too much where I couldn't see due to the warning about cutting your hands

17-Jul-22
Yay! Tftc

17-Jul-22

I was stuck on this cache for a while then I read the hint over and over again and finally understood it. TFTC!

Did not find.

13-Jul-22
Not there anymore

27-Apr-22
Came back and found it

27-Apr-22
Little bit dangerous had to bring gloves because you could cut you hands on sharp metal and also electrical wiring close by. And shorter people could not access this opening

26-Apr-22
To hard dnf

15-Apr-22
I had a DNF here before. Good to see this hide being replaced. TFTC!

This one had me scratching my head for a bit, but after getting the nearby lab cache stage, I then realised what I was up to. Truth be told, I used some tech to spot this one, nicely done TFTC

05-Jan-22
2nd attempt, stuck in the middle of all the hints then we saw the light...

05-Jan-22
Came back cause this one had us stumped. Lucky mr 6 helped us out with his little arms and being held up by Sweatyyetinz we got it!! Tftc

14-Nov-21
This cache was a little hard to retrieve as someone had pushed it right back out of reach. But with a little Perseverance and kiwi ingenuity i managed to get the cache in my little hot hand. Tftc

16-Oct-21
On my MEGA trip to Auckland except I am now heading from Feilding to Wellington.
However to complete the artwork AdLab I have to drive through Levin to admire the artwork here before I can enjoy Levin's artwork.
A good hide here. Not in the first place I looked. Then a muggle happened along while I was putting the log back so I pocketed the mint tin and carried on through to find another cache.
Returned to its hiding place on my way back to the car.

I came to town as a passenger initially for the event but had my arm twisted, stop that's enough, up my back to join in the hunt for a few others, some new and some old.

This was another old one.

Cheers for the cache.

26-Sep-21
Arrived early for TwigNZ’s event which was a hundred metres away. Thought I would have another go at this one. Had a good idea where it was going to be but had to wider my search before feeling it. Thanks for the smiley.

06-Jun-21
A bit too short to have a good look and will need gloves next time!

05-Jun-21
Too short for this one. Need a step ladder maybe?

15-May-21
Stopped on our way to Foxton to have a go at this one, but despite searching for ages we couldn't find it. Had another go on our way home with cache in hand in no time. It was very helpful that my partner is quite tall. Thanks for placing the cache

29-Mar-21
Today I'm driving from Paraparaumu Beach to Hamilton en route to Auckland for work and leisure. I had time to find a few caches along the way. This was the first cache I found today. I parked nearby and made my way to GZ. Not in the first place I checked but it didn't take too long to find the cleverly hidden cache. TFTC, Biggles.

21-Mar-21
After attending the local CITO at Kimberley Reserve, Phronimos and I ventured around all of Levin to find the best of the best in this town as well as a few others that were along the way. It was great fun to go out geocaching with another geocacher and we were able to find some really clever hides.

Phronimos had already found this geocache so he gave me a helping hand in finding this geocache, since I didn't really click onto the hint. I am very grateful that I am tall as it has been very helpful with the last few geocaches. TFTC!

Interesting placement loved it tftc

20-Mar-21
After attending TwigNZ's *Cannonball Run CCE* event I had to have another go at locating this elusive geocache, especially in light of it being replaced in January.
Sure enough, after checking a few likely spots the cache container came to light - so to speak.
Being underground, one can ignore the GPS. It is helpful if you're tall, which I'm not, but I had a tall TOTT with me. Replaced as found but heard it slide to the back so that'll make it even slightly more difficult for the next geocacher. A magnet would be of assistance in the hide technique.

28-Feb-21
Found after a short (tall) search. First cache of the day on a fun trip organised by Infoferret, along with bruzie and GSEL. TFTC!

28-Feb-21
A road trip was planned by InfoFerret to head up to Shannon to grab the new PWGT2 multi (and if time and weather permitted, the Dam Pirate Treasure multi too). Myself, GSEL and barefootguru joined the call to offer support and combined experience.

On the way up suggests for other caches to visit were requested and I offered this one as I noticed it was recently replaced and half the party hadn't already found it - it also being the starting point for the Levin Cluedo Adventure Lab was also a bonus.

Not really paying attention to the GPS, we followed the hint (and especially with the extra note), concentrated on a few locations but I was unable to locate any cache, but luckily we had a BFG who spotted the container hiding away in there. The log was signed and the cache replaced, and soon it was time to move on. All good here, and TFTC

27-Feb-21
Collecting as many caches around the Levin area as possible. Sadly no light for us here. Felt around but went away none the brighter. Will watch.

Will replace this week

03-Jan-21
We looked in vain

02-Jan-21
It is gone for good

04-Sep-20
I had a look for this one on Feb 29th when a few people attending my nearby event said they couldn't find it.
As a previous finder, I knew where it should be, and can confirm that it wasn't there.
The whole subway has been re-painted, and it is likely that the cache has been removed/destroyed as part of those works.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We were really keen to log a Leap Day Event cache and collect the souvenir, but our nearest was the camp-out at Awhitu. We have already cached in that area and wanted to use our time a bit more effectively, so we reasoned that a trip south would be worthwhile. There were three events in the Manawatu region. Road trip...

We were due across the road at the Leap Day event, but decided to try our hands at this cache. After an extensive search with tools, and confirmation that the cache is missing (by former finders), we believe this one needs a CO visit and check.

05-Mar-20
sorry dnf today
happen to be an event on nearby today
previous finders checked and confirmed cache has gone.
area has been repainted recently and may have been removed.
replace or archive this is the question
will wait a few days to see if owner replaces

Had trouble with this one at first, the kids and I inspected a few places and at one point thought we'd spotted it out of reach, no that's gotta be too high, rechecked the hint, not quite right, had another think, aha, think that's where it could be, eldest son then found something that resembled the hint but slightly obscured, up he went onto my shoulders, had a look and a feel, nothing there, moved over a bit and yes, success! Very nice hiding spot. Glad I wasn't alone for this one, I don't think I would have been able to retrieve it. Now I have a line from a Smiths song stuck in my head. Adding a favourite point. TFTC

22-Sep-19
Great day to be out exploring. Tftc

10-Jul-19
Nice hide. Have driven this road numerous times, but never knew there was an underpass. TFTC.

01-Jul-19
Got up early this morning to make our way north again after a weekend in Wellington and GAR was navigating us to a few caches while I drove. This was our first stop. Not the best time as a lot of kids were getting dropped off to make their way to school while we were there. Found the cache during a quiet spot. Nice hide Nogoodnik73!

08-Jun-19
Found after 5pm as it was getting dark so was a little hesitant proceeding to get the cache here but fortunately it was a quick find, sign and replace.

Day 2 of our New Years trip up to the North Island. Today we traveled from Upper Hutt through the winding Akatarawa Rd up to Palmerston North. A cool cache here. We took our own torches but they werent needed (you may wish to add that negative attribute). Mum wasnt tall enough (just) to reach it but I have a slightly longer reach so were we soon signing the log. We left a Rainbow Bead Tail in the caches that were big enough. Thanks for the effort involved in placing and creating this cache for all of us to enjoy. Smile

02-Nov-18
I was passing by today. I had a few extra minutes and this one was close to the road so I thought I would give it a go. I spent a bit of time scanning the area and thinking about where I might place a cache. It didn't take me too long to work it out, although longer than it should have.

This area has changed a lot since I last actually stopped to have a look around. There used to be a horse farm where the vineyard is now and I used to day dream about purchasing the winner of some big races! That never happened... so I better get back to work.

The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.

Thank you

Cherrys Rule

This was the ninth day of my twelve day trip to go to the Wellington Mega. I had to leave Wellington today after a very enjoyable Mega. I am back to finding a cache every 10km or so as I make tracks.
I kinda knew where this was going to be, but I first looked around where the lighting was better. Without any numbers in sight, I went to the right place and found the cache. TFTC.

22-Oct-18
On our way home From the Mega, philip had his eye on favourited caches so we (foolishly) turned off the highway and went for this one.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Team BOP have descended upon the Wellington region for the 2018 WENZ MEGA. We have a lot of caches to get through so there wasn’t a lot of down time but it was great to meet most of the locals, CO’s and fellow cachers. My online logs are largely cut’n’pasted because my memory has started to blur many of my finds together so apologies for that. We’ve signed logs as ‘TeamBOP’ or individually depending on log space and time. Lastly a big Thank You to the Team - TNXPro, Davidsonclan, McJandals, NZFlossy, FapandGap & Squirrel Nutcase and to all the CO’s that made this a memorable trip.

Always interesting to see how the other half live.

22-Oct-18
Stopped here on way home from Wellington Mega weekend.
Quick find here today with Tnxpro and Philip.perry.

17-Oct-18
Thegreatauk and I are making our way from the far north to Wellington. We're having fun caching along the way. I want a long line of smiles along SH1, some solved puzzles, some different cache types, and highly favourited caches. Where I come from its not busy enough for underpasses (unless you're a cow) so I think they're fun. The hint led us straight to the right spot for a quick find, TFTC Smile

17-Oct-18
On a long trip down to the mega with Lis's crew. So for me it good for numbers and favorites caches. With several stops and a lot of caches and several souvenirs up for grabs the trip was the perfect opportunity to get my numbers up and get some challenges that I have qualified for. Interesting little cache here. Thanks.

Making our way from Auckland to Wellington GeoHubby & I had some time to spare before the winery opened. We had an amazing breakfast at Salt & Pepper (not to be missed, the scones are to die for) And decided to see what caches were in the area, they did not disappoint. This was our 3rd find for the day, the clue is spot on if you're in the right place, a nice quick find. TFTC

11-Oct-17
#3489 3 of 15 today.

Day 4 in NZ and I'm leaving Wellington heading for Whanganui, a 2.5 hr trip that I managed to make take about 6. Sadly I took lunch with me, so I can't blame it on an extended lunch break. The weather today was pretty ordinary. Grey with showers increasing the further up the road I drove. I stopped in various towns when the weather permitted and grabbed as many caches as I could. It's still raining here, but the forecast is good for the next few days.

A nice hide, but I always feel for the vertically challenged for hides like this. Not a problem for me though.

TFTC Weirdisgood.

01-Oct-17
Signed as RE as I'm caching with Ethnz this weekend.
A very nice hide. We started off looking in the wrong place but Ethnz soon got the right idea and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache.
