this Cache would be very close to the water line but seems missing CO may need to reconsider placing it higher or more securely
Looked everywhere under the boardwalk even with a torch but found nothing. May have washed away?
Dropped off the geokids an nanna's house nearby. Noted that this one had recently resurfaced so decided to replace the green box with a smiley face. A quick find once I got into the right position. TNLN. TFTC.
I have just replaced the container. At this stage it is only a temporary container till i get the proper replacement container.

I expect that the cache would be gone due to the flood waters so i will disable it till i get to check it out.
Just done a cache check and it is still exactly where it supposed to be.
You will need to bring your own pen/ pencil as the pencil in the cache needs to be sharpened.

Nope! Two of us searched everywhere. Firstly, a boardwalk is there for a reason, so if I need to get off it to search, Unhappy Jan. Read the clue, read the logs, I do not think it is there. Please check.
Had a good look but could not find it today - the kids enjoyed the park though.
Lo tengo 1100hrs
This area has come along really well especially the kids facilities. I remember it being just a dodgy bit of swamp. I hope the cache brings more people down to enjoy the place.
Coords are good and log has plenty of room left.

A pleasant walk and long arms are needed to retieve this cache. And it needs to be done quickly before the biggest mozzies I've ever seen carry you away! TNLNSL TFTC
A nice quick find this afternoon with sesblocker as the cache was out in the open. We signed the log and rehid it behind the pier of the boardwalk. TFTC!

Found during a late afternoon bike ride and assault on a few East Maitland caches with the geo-crew. The walkway has seen better days but the geo-son crawled around and the cache was soon located. Many thanks Morky70
Nice hide. Love this spot, haven't been down in years. Favourite spot to explore as a kid. Thanks!

Great little hide!!!! Did this one at nice and the geese were going crazy!!! Hahahah
That one was very easy to find with the clue.
The problem was, the GPS was not extremely accurate, so we didn't know which bend.

Working nearby and popped down to the lagoon on a gloomy day and made the find.
Suprised at the amount of birdlife down here in this weather.

Lovely warm day today, great enjoyed around maitland caches, very easy to walk smooth and lovely view lagoon.... very good spot to GZ and clever hide well, thanks....
Second find for the day, was a little off initially but a quick reorientation and the help of goggle maps gave us a better approach to GZ, a quick recovery and it was off to the next one. Geo Jnr enjoyed the playground afterwards. LNSL

On a quick family visit, it was decided that we needed to find a cache for the day. Together with Possum Blossom & Calypso62, we found a swing (for P.B) then the cache. A quick find but no ducks on the lagoon. TNLNSL TFTC

I was out with my Poppy, (Calypso62) and my GRUG (that's Great Uncle Geotooter ) for a play on the equipment. My Poppy suggested we go and find some treasure so off we went. GRUG found the container and we opened it up. I liked the look of the little green frog so my Poppy said I could have it. We didn't have anything to swap this time but my Poppy said he would put some swaps into this cache the next time he comes to visit me. Thanks Morky70 for a good little hide.

What a lovely day to be in the park and the equipment here is excellent for kids. I was up from Sydney visiting my family and noticed there were two relatively new caches here. I needed a find for today to fill in my calendar so this was a double whammy.... a play in the park and a cache. Coordinates were excellent and the cache location was soon discovered. I tried to find the previous cache in this park (was it called GI JOE???) so it's good to see geocachers have another reason to come to this lovely location. Thanks Morky70.

As i approached gz I was a littled worried that the catch may have been a little wet from the flooding but when I spotted the catch it was high and dry.

Came up to Maitland today to grab a few old and new caches.
Nice playground, totally deserted today.
Didn't take long to flush this one out except, due to all the water about, Mr C had to lay down on his belly on boardwalk to extract it which was a little tricky. TN left magnetic smiley. Thank Morky70
Did anyone spot the spelling error on the notice on the door of the amenities building? If the council didn't have a spell checker then certainly the sign maker should.

We were in the area to grab a nearby FTF in the same field. It's such a lovely area in here. The boardwalk has seen better days! There was plenty of birdlife around a fair bit os green algae in the water! TFTC
Reperio at 1630. FTF!
I was sitting at home when this one came online, so had nothing else to do or nowhere to be...so off I headed. Pulled up closer to GZ than I was expecting, and after a short walk, I was soon at GZ with the cache in hand. This is a lovely little area...and a great spot to sit and relax.
Gratias Morky70.

We found this by mistake. We where out and about to find a location to hide our cache. So, great minds think alike.
Was at the blood bank at Maitland hospital so missed the notification when it came out so when I got out and saw a new cache so close with no takers yet headed off to see.
After negotiating the traffic jam in Maitland arrived at the area with no one around took a short stroll to gz and there was the cache and on the log of course MV beaten again by 30 mins.
Took Jacks Experience to move on.
Thanks Morky70
