Logs
For our regular Sunday public transport caching adventures, and in an attempt to avoid the Sydney Marathon mayhem in the city, today we headed out to Stanhope Gardens in Sydneys North West for a few Traditional caches located within the suburb. Caught a 280 bus to Chatswood and a Metro train to Kellyville Metro Station, where we then walked over the Old Windsor Road pedestrian overpass bridge to reach Stanhope Gardens. After a few hours strolling the suburbs streets & parks for the caches, with a stop-off at Reserve 620 (park) to enjoy our pre-packed picnic lunch, it was back to Kellyville Metro Station to catch a Metro train back to Chatswood, then a 280 bus back to home. This was the 1st of 4 finds for the day. This was our first cache stop for the day, after hopping off the Metro train at Kellyville Metro Station and walking along Newbury & Perfection Avenues to reach the cache. The cache was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ, albeit a lot bigger than the nano we were expecting, but that's a good thing (pesky nanos ). TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Logs soaked and unusable. Replaced with new log but this cache needs some attention to stop water getting in TFTC
BEAR & BEE Found it TFTC its absolutely soaked so no log book but great find
Geokid visited friend as nearby suburb. During the waiting, I walked to keep up with my steps and try to see any geocache along the path. This is a quick found. TFTC
Hi there. This cache is in desperate need of maintenance. There is no log and it's soaked. Cheers
Agree with the other comments. Not a great cache, quite disgusting inside. No log and wet inside. Don't bother with the hint, it's wrong! Please fix!
It was well clear of its gps location so we moved it closer to its specified placement.
What a terrible cache. Size is wrong.. coords are out.. cache is poorly hidden.. and the logbook is damaged and unwritable. Please fix these things.
found it. hard to reach. log completely water damaged and is in need of a cleaned container and a new log
Quickest find to date. Needs a bit of updating as it’s soggy and has ruined the logbook
OCW Brewmaker and EverestHigh. Terrain or even difficulty should probably be higher. TFTC.
Found it with some assist from the previous logs. Paper and bag were both completely soaked needs replacing. Still an awesome find in a difficult place. TTFC. 15/10/2022
Thanks for the biggest nano cache find ever! I spent a lot of time looking for something very different! When I opened the cache, pen in my teeth I was disappointed to find the log was soaked and maybe needs replaced considering it won’t get a chance to dry out in the coming wet summer!

Found It!
Now that's my kind of nano! Unlike the previous finders, I didn't see any eels here today so I soon had the cache in hand without any problems!

Was hanging of a bridge 1m away from eel infested water. Near death experience.
Biggest nano I ever saw! Log is hanging in by a thread but good cache, thanks
Found this one but the only way to get to it is…… not accessible. Too many muggles on Halloween to make the very conspicuous grab. TFTC
Found the cache. I think someone moved it further and it was impossible to reach unless one hangs from the rails and does some trapeze artist work!
Did not sign the log because was not possible to get into the creek to retrieve it.
TFTC but can this be moved to a better location so that it’s reachable? Thanks

We found it after reading the hint. Thanks! It was our very first go at geocaching
Out with morty8888 for some more caching; today around The Ponds in the rain.
I searched low, morty8888 searched high and when he finished up top he came down to my level and of course immediately spotted the prize. We ummed and ahhed whether we should chase the prize and morty8888 being younger and much fitter volunteered for the job while I gave encouragement from the sidelines.

A rainy day for caching but that didn't stop Oldmorty and I heading to the Nth West for some GPS searching skills. After taking the cache name literally, we scoured up and down before seeing what was a slightly larger version of what we thought would be the cache. With the creek flowing it came down to sucking it up and pretending it was the playground monkey bars and scaling across to retrieve whilst Oldmorty took the high ground to do the log business. TFTC!
Woah ! Not what I expected, geo hubby did his monkey skills to retrieve it and had cache in hand. Woah!! TFTC
Coords a bit off but quickly spotted from a distance. Needed to channel my younger inner monkey into my 57yr old body.
Despite wife saying not to ( She wasn't sure if my life insurance was upto date) however quickly had cache in hand, no accidents.
Thanks for maintaining the cache.
Fav for the fun in attaining this one.

Sydney Feb 21 Trip. Day 2. I joined Fitzy_1965, MinnieK and Tankengine for a weekend trip to Sydney to attend a few Community events and do as much caching as possible. We started with a puzzle series at Quaker's hill in light drizzle. There was then mixed caching and the first event at the Ponds. We headed into town after that and caught up with a bigger contingent of Canberra caches for dinner and a lap of Darling Harbour for caches there. It all got a bit late but it was a great day.
What a take on the subject, a bit unexpected, but a very pleasant surprise.
Thanks for the cache HappyPaintball

Headed up to Sydney with fitzy_1965, albida33 and Tankengine for the weekend attending some Community Celebration events and caching inbetween.
Solved any puzzles before heading away. Signed as MK, F65, TE & A33 to save space and all finds were quick and easy unless otherwise stated.
Albida swung into action here and soon had CIH.

23,707. Found with minniek, Tankengine and albida33 during a Sydney weekend run attending some Community Celebration Events and generally having a caching good time.
We headed up the Hume this morning with the Quakers Star series in our sights before attending the first of three Community Celebration Events over the weekend. My thanks to my caching companions which made it a memorable trip. After finishing the Star we continued along cherry picking caches until the event was due. This was the next stop of the day after attending the event. A quick and fun find at GZ. Signed the log (mostly F65 MK TE and A33 to save space), replaced the cache as found, then headed on to the next one on the list.
Thanks HappyPaintball !!

Chooo ooo [found] - fun spot with Fitzy65 minniek and Albida on a Sydney caching trip to attend some Celebration Events with a whole bunch of other Canberra cachers - Thanks HappyPaintball!
Out with [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0) to do a bit of shopping, we decided to go for this cache then head to the shops. Arrived GZ and quickly located the cache and then retrieved it. Log was very damp, luckily as it was so hot, a few minutes in the sun dried the log suitable for signing. Log signed and returned. TFTC
Found with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H). We were out doing some shopping and we made a detour to try for this cache. We parked nearby and headed to GZ. After a short search we spotted the hide. It took a bit of effort to reach it - a bit more than what we'd expect from 1.5 T. The logs were damp and mushy but we were able to open up one and let it dry in the hot sun. Log signed and then we had to replace it all. This done we continued on our way. TFTC.
Took us a bit but got it I’m the end didn’t expect it to be where it was ( found with shrubyjr )
Such a fun find!! Tftc. Wasnt what I was expecting but a great location. Looking for something wayyyy smaller

Found with DAx on 24/1/2020....just under a year ago....I forgot to log. TFTC!
so not what I was looking for. Emerged with twigs in hair and jersey ready to give up. Decided to head back in one more time while divesting myself of said twigs and there is what staring me in the face, looking all smug, making me feel like a fool for my previous antics of searching while trying to not draw the attention of nearby construction workers. PMSL thanks BB for the hide. Slowly crawling towards my 300th find, 4 to go if calculations are correct
Thanks for the cache! Easy find, only took us a minute. The ziplock bag was a bit torn up though.
