This one has been well visited but can now be archived. there are plenty of better caches in this reserve for cachers to concentrate on
Friday 24 November 2017 - a glorious sunny Spring day in the high 20s. Found 12 from 13 caches (11 trads, 1 letter box) after cycling over 12km around the reserve in approx. 3hrs.
I did not attempt this cache given the number of DNF. Thought that it would be a good idea to report it as a possible missing. Hopefully it can now be checked before the next cacher comes through to search.
Loved the boardwalk trail best of all and the change of scenery between caches. Also should have heeded the previous cachers warning re mosquitoes.

No Luck Today . I think this one may be gone as the string of DNF's is getting bigger.
Thank you
Thank you
I concur, I have found various radnoski caches and loved them. My favourite of all time would have to be "It's Magnetic."
Unfortunately today I wasn't able to locate the hide.
Thanks to bristracker for the hide and for bringing me to this fine location. The walk has been very enjoyable, and given me the chance to experience bushwalking in the milder winter weather.

No luck today so I will have to return. I blame it on the brain not functioning from lack of blood from all the trillion mozzies tapping into my arteries and bleeding me dry.
Dude, that's not my car! But it reminded me of it. My clever geo-man thought outside the box when we started to be puzzled and he found it. TFTC Bristracket
Out caching with HotWheelsDuo. Great little hide. The log book is wet but writable. TFTC!
Out for an afternoon of caching with MNANCE101 and we decided to the HNT series - and this one was along the same path.
Tricky hide as not where we expected it to be, TFTC

We found this cache to be in a need of a bit of love and very, very damp inside. We wiped the whole cache out with wipes; cleaned it dried it. The log book is very damp so I spent as long as I could blowing on it and waving it about trying to dry it off. I decided to put it back in the cache out of its bag to give it a bit of an airing and to hopefully let it dry out a bit more (I thought it was so damp it would go mouldy if put in a plastic bag). CAN THE NEXT CACHER PLEASE PUT THE LOG BACK IN THE ZIP LOCK BAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Added a pencil and some swaps. Took the TB to move on somewhere else. Thanks for this find Bristracker. This was find 15/19 for the day.
Thoroughly enjoyed the walk in the wetlands this morning with earthlight

A quick find once I had a quick look over the old car. A favourite point today. Caching with The X-Trailers. TFTC
Out on the bike today so I can cover the distance a bit quicker, this was where I was up to and started the day with a quick find TFTC.bristracker
All the way from the UK. Found this after a few minutes searching. Damp log but still able to write on it. Emptied a bit of water out of the container. TFTC
Found most of the caches in this coombabah area but ones near the broadwalk 7 months or so ago. We came back about 3 weeks ago 1x skateboard 1x bike and found 1 caches and cracked it after having no mozzie spray, skateboard only on broadwalk not on gravel so we left. In the mean time kept a eye out for a geo bike and we found one. With easy no tool wheel take off and a shelf to hold our geo gear and save our backs. So off today after a well earnt sleep in.
Found at 2.25pm. You could see what GZ spot would be a little distance away helped while riding holding a phone. Need to make a phone holder
Thanks for the cache ST. TNLN. SL

Who doesn't love radnoski caches! CAD and myself pulled up to the long, lost, rust bucket and began a search of the area. A poke and a prod later, the soggy cache was in hand. Oh noes! There was a good amount of water in the cache from the recent rains. Hmm, well this looks like a nice place for a break.
I emptied everything from the cache and placed it all in the sun to dry while we had a rest. Luckily the logbook was only damp, not soaking wet. Chatting away for a bit and then it was time to keep moving. Look at that a nice dry cache I replaced everything back inside and gave the logbook a new baggy. With log signed we popped it back where it belonged.

I headed out with Nyssaflutterby, who was kind enough to lend me a bicycle. It was hot and humid and parts of the tracks were under water which was sort of ok because that cooled my feet. Nyssaflutterby quickly found this cache. Yep, not going anywhere fast. Odd thing to find in such a natural environment.
On approaching gz we had an idea of where the cache might be, after reading the hint we were on the right track unlike the poor old thing here. A quick turn of a few bits and pieces and the cache was found nicely tucked away. Tftc.
Would have welcomed a proper ride by this cache. Found it, it wasn't going anywhere.
Found with goldielover while doing another nearby cache. We enjoyed the walk among the roos, so many about at this time of the evening.
Thanks bristracker for the great cache.
Thanks bristracker for the great cache.
Found with stairman1. We were enjoying the views out here and nearly overshot this cache. A very interesting item to see in the middle of the bush. The container was very well hidden. We signed our names then hid it out of view of any muggles. Thanks bristraker.
Grabbing a few caches today on the HNT, I just couldn't pass this one up while I was nearby. Haha! 'Wrecknoski' I think you mean. Not again?! How many of these are there in the Gold Coast bushlands?! Cache all in good condition. TFTC. TNLN. SL.
Out for an early morning walk with my father in law. Followed the cache trail through here - 3 hours later we were back at home base. A quick find here once the GPS settled down and we checked the obvious choice of places.
Thanks bristracker for the cache.

Nope, I dont think this is going anywhere! Ms Maddy and I on the HNT trail today and was meeting up with the CO later. This hide was a welcome simple find on a very long walk around the reserve. Found in the first place I checked. TFTC!
Out and about with Nurseyjulie to do this trail today and a lovely day it was for walking
I reckon that ain't ever going anywhere again but it's now part of the environment and protection for wee critters on drizzly nights Oh and we also found us a cache here
So on we walked, clocking up a respectable 13 kliks today in this truly awesome bushland area
TFTC Barbalicious See you soon!

My last day on the Gold Coast so time to go and find some more caches in the area before heading off on my homeward journey. A short diversion from the HNT trail for this cache. Spotted the likely hiding place feature on approach. There's a few Nelson cachers that also appreciate relics like this. TFTC, Biggles.
I wonder how long that old item has been around, soon as I spotted it I thought here we go, a little tiny magnetic cache for sure but to my surprise it was an easier find than expected. Left eagle charm, took nothing, TFTC Radnoski
Wow. I've just looked at the gallery and am very glad we've had dry weather lately. Track was visible and nice and dry.
Out with Goodlookerz to help her reach her 500. She spotted GZ while I was still tootling off on the Geocycle, but I had the container in hand first.

Out with Aussiemates on our bikes on a bid to reach 500 this week. The hint was very apt. We love radnoski caches too. TFTC Dropped in the Lacking Spontaneity trackable.
Out for a wander with Aussie Liahona I collected all 9 caches in the HNT series, plus the 2 extras on the way, and added Shores 3 and 4, so it became 13 finds on a walk of 10kms over 3 hours today [^]
Number 5 on our walk, and I was pleased to see this dedication cache here. I have done a few of radnoski's caches and enjoyed them all. His puzzles are entertaining and some of his hides are, uhh... quite unique At this one's GZ it only took a couple of seconds to spot the hiding place. TFTC, bristracker.

Captain Terror, Fangsoki, Radnoski and I were out in this part of the world grabbing the caches along the Herbz Nature Trail when this cache was our next closest instead. Hmmm Radnoski caches... do I love them? I know I have enjoyed them, and I have also been furious at dnfing them. I guess love is a funny word, it has so many different levels. Some people say they love a tv show, a book, a restaurant, a certain meal, their friends, their parents, their partners, their children if they are unlucky enough to have some. But would you be the same level of sad if your "loved" tv show got cancelled than if your partner left? Are there different levels of love? What is above love? Adore? Maybe, but I adore kittens and definitely do not love them. Who really knows?
One of my favourite movies growing up had a quote about love in it. ' Bianca:There's a difference between like and love. Because, I like my Skechers, but I love my Prada backpack. Chastity: But I love my Skechers. Bianca: That's because you don't have a Prada backpack.' All I am sure of is that I love geocaching and the places it takes me and the people I see those places with and yes Radnoski has taken me to some of those places so yes I suppose I do love radnoski caches. Thanks for the cache Bristracker as the boys have boringly mentioned the cache was in good condition

I was heading around the wetlands with Fangsoki, Net88 and Radnoski when this one was next along our walk. As it popped up naturally we started highlighting how un-lovable Radnoski caches are in a joking fashion - and considering we had just found one.
The mosquitoes still had not left us alone, but thankfully the now famous Radnoski had packed some precious Aeroguard. We got to the spot and I dashed forward to make the find. Normally I try to identify what the car is.. or was. But even with Fangsoki's knowledge thrown in to help, we decided we aren't that great at identifying a car from a rusty chassis. The cache was in good condition, signed and replaced as found. Another nice find along our afternoon stroll. TFTC bristracker

I do love a Radnoski cache as well - we share a similar razor-sharp wit that comes out in his caches It's not surprising I do like them - we've known each other a very long time
Radnoski, Captain Terror, Net88, and I made our way to GZ. Hmmm. I enjoy trying to tell what an old car was. I could tell this one was hmm.. dead.. and had.. vacuum assisted brakes... I got nothing
We soon found the prize and signed the log. It was in good condition. TFTC Bristracker

Thanks to the hint this was an easy find - thank goodness. As soon as we stopped riding we were instantly attacked by droves of mozzies.
Grabbed the travel Bug before we took off again
Container and log all Ok.

Out on the geocycle today. Hmmm, wrecked cars in the bush make me think of Radnoski too
It was nice and dry in here today and the mozzies were not too bad. A nice quick find at GZ. Left a TB

I was doing the HNT again in an attempt to locate a few caches that I didn't find when first doing the walk. I revisited this cache again as I was passing by and loaded it up with swaps for the kiddies (and adults). I also gave the cache a dry out and put the log book in a fresh bag
Another day out with yoshi and topher. A quick find for us. Just make sure you don't hurt yourself!

Arriving at GZ we knew immediately what the name of the cache related to as we did quite a few of those (crazy) radnoski caches. Cache was easily found and in good condition. TFTC bristracker.
Wonder what it was in its former life...
And of course how it ended up here.....

Me and BoDiddlies went on a long walk to get a few caches and this was the last one that we attempted as we were getting tired. It was an easy find as when you hit GZ you straight away go to the right place as its obvious. but it is good to have a nice easy one every now and than.
Myself, my son, and blacknano92 trekked off along the nature trail on a gorgeous Wednesday afternoon to find as many caches as we could. This was the ninth cache we went for, and was probably the easiest find...a nice change from some of the other Herbz caches we had found (or didn't find) find throughout the day. I left a TB in this one to continue on its journey. TFTC.
On day 3 on my Queensland caching trip it was fun doing 63 caches for the day. Some easy and some tricky hides, but a lot of fun was had in the 19 deg. weather. Lot's of walking and a bit of bike riding got the blood pumping. Thanks to all the CO's for their efforts.
Out for a huge caching holiday with J & J.au and Baja.15. Thanks for another find on this beautiful day for us.
Found with friends as we made our attempt on the nearby series. Lots of fun and enjoyed our walk in this lovely area. There's no restoration option here. Thanks SL..TFTC
Another day out and about caching on the Gold Coast with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. Decided to tackle the HNT series and a few others while on the walk including a nice multi and letterbox cache. Lots of favourite points to give out... We saw Kangaroos, Lizards, a Snake, and picked up a few ticks as well. Had two of the kids with me, James and Jemma (7yo) they had a great day. Between 11 and 12 kms walked, as we went as far as Shores 4 cache. Thanks to all CO's for hiding and maintaining their caches, made the day a great one.
------------------------------------------------------
Ahhh, how do they get all the way in there...... Found in first place looked, it just looked right for a cache. TFTC.

This was a great day!! We were going for our 900th!! The weather was perfect!!
We had all the crew together Geo Mum, Geo Dad & Geo Girls!!!
We borrowed some bikes as ours were old and rusty or stolen, don't leave things in the front of the house without locking them up.
We had planned our run so that we could hit "Shores 3 - Koala" at low tide.
It was good to have yet another cache to fill the gap between Herbz caches.
We had a job searching for this one till we read a previous log and the cache was soon in hand.
We replaced it at true GZ as we trusted that if it had been muggled previously they wouldn't be looking for it again.
Thanks Bristracker TFTC SL TSLS

Caching with Gunnie69 today on the Bullion Coast
Arrived at GZ and searched where indicated to no avail...
after eventually widening our search area Gunnie came up with the goods..
Container a bit damp inside but log was dry

Kaisho53 and I spent a bit of time hunting around GZ to no avail... There was nothing in the area the GPS wanted us in... After not coming up with the goods, it was time to widen the search and after a minute or so, I stumbled across the container tucked away in its lair... Aha, that'll be it... [^]
I opened the container to find it a little damp inside, but the log was fine. Names were etched and things reassembled and dropped back in place.
Cheers Bristracker.

We returned to this area to find the remaining caches after our GPS had a slight glitch and didn't load the whole lot.
Found thanks to the previous logs.

Located the cache safe and dry. We put a log book in so the owner won't have to do any maintenance in a hurry. Found and took the TB to continue its travels. TFTC
Found after reading previous log and lucky we had a spare log book and replaced it quick smart.... all nice and dry now.
On my way past this morning to a cache further down I noticed the lid to this cache on the ground near it's hide. I stopped and found it had been muggled. I did find the container, info card, TB I had put in and the zip lock bag the log book should have been in. I searched around the area to find the book but I couldn't see it. Put it back together with a piece of note pad paper. Sorry thats all I had with me. The ground has been disturbed a bit and the original cover has gone so I hid the cache 5m away in a NE direction from GZ. Look for four trees close together. Under pines needles.
No luck for Team Grundies today, obviously a case of cache blindness to since it was found yesterday
We were doing some maintenance in the area so it was nice to be able to find a cache as well. As we drew near to GZ we both had a little chuckle when we saw where the arrow was pointing. A very appropriate setting for this cache! The log book was nice and dry although there was some moisture on the lid which Mr Herbz wiped away. On the way back to the car we were very fortunate as we spied 3 koalas! TFTC Bristracker.
I spotted another bush sculpture on approach to GZ. Geez this old girl has been here awhile. It looks like an old Holden HQ, I had one years ago which is why the chassis looks familiar. Theres pretty much nothing left but theres a chrome dress strip hanging out of the grass that looks like new, how weird.
Headed over to GZ and soon found what I was after. Signed log and dropped off the Just Married Koala TB. Seemed fitting as we're on Koala Track. Took geocoin.
Thanks bristracker great spot

Today I arrived a lot earlier than yesterday so I could finish the caches in this area.
As I approached this cache I was thinking about the name...and sure enough.
This cache was quickly located as well.
Time is a ticking for me to get to work...so off I go again.
Thanks for the cache.

Out on the HNT trail this morning. I have to concur with the CO. Radnoski caches are pretty good and I've found a few of his among rusty relics like this one. Mind you I could add a list of hiders on the Coast as long as my arm to that list, including this CO. Plenty of great caches to be had by an occasional visitor.

GeoBob and I had walked through here on a very hot day and picked up some of these caches. I returned another time with Bristracker and picked up the rest. On that trip Bristracker decided to leave a new cache here as this cache location was reminiscent of a Radnoski's specialty cache. I couldn't find it before it was published so needed to come back for another walk in this lovely area. Today was the day and in company with OrionJ we found this cache in good condition. We each rescued a trackable that has been here for a little while to send them on their way. Thanks for the cache Bristracker!
Found this one with Aussie Liahona, was a nice quick find and everything in good condition. It is a fairly decent walk in from the main parking lot to this area, happy to get them all sorted in one go.

Found with Buzzybe. Using sticks instead of our hands because we are scared of the creepy crawlies over here we were able to get this cache. TFTC
Heading along the path picking up HNT caches and this one was on the way.
A short search and the cache was soon uncovered.
There were two trackables in the cache but we left them there.

Oops! forgot to drop the TB in when I submitted the cache listing. radnoski reminded me.
Hahaha what a lark 'twas not a couple of weeks ago I was cycling my way with family tracking down another couple of Herbz smilies when I commented to Epigal that the site would be a good one for a Rad cache. So I had a bit of a chuckle to myself when I saw this one pop up on the GPSr.
Was very wet under foot (or wheels as was the case) since it had been pouring down this morning and all week nearly. Wet enough that geomidget2 was protesting even before we got in the car but once he got his wheels in the water all grizzlies disappeared.
A nice quick find and onto another TFTC Bristracker. Took 'purple people eater' TB as will be a good excuse to go visit a winery in the very near future.

I noticed that this cache was published as I was about to leave for work the other day. The internet on my phone was playing up so I spent the trip to work thinking "I hope I don't drive past the cache on the way".
I looked up the cache page after I got to work and realised that this definitely wasn't a "drive-by". I considered and after-work visit but those gates that close automatically at 6pm would have definitely made it a challenge.
There has been a bit of rain on Saturday night and again on Sunday morning but had mostly stopped for my morning walk. I was thinking it was about a kilometer to the cache but on arrival the Garmin told me I had two kilometers to the cache. I am glad it was overcast and the occasional sprinkle of rain kept me cool.
With all the rain there were heaps of kangaroos were hanging all along the path enjoying the lush grass, pooled water and drying out their wet fur. A very enjoyable walk and I snapped a lot of photos. I will upload a few and some more will end up on the Facebook page ...... www.facebook.com/geoadventure
I read the previous log and wore the old dodgy sneakers. There were a couple of bits where the track was submerged but you get that when caching in "wetlands" I suppose.
Thanks for the dedication cache Bristracker and thanks for the opportunity to walk this track again and hang out with the kangaroos.
The track also take you past a number of great "HNT" Herbz caches. I would definitely recommend checking them all out. Can I mention that "We also love Herbz caches"?
I grabbed a little blue dude travel bug and left a "nemo" travel bug. I also grabbed a BT pathtag and left a smiley face thingie.
Cheers!!

I saw this cache pop up yesterday but with the weather being so bad I wasn't fussed to head out in it.
After school drop off I got home and the thought of house work didn't grab me so I checked out a few cashes near by and by the looks this one was still unfound.
I grabbed a few things and headed off to fuel up the car before heading to the cache site.
I'd found a few caches in this area before and knew it would be quite wet. (Lucky I wore old shoes)
The ground was pretty good until I got 100m from GZ. Then it was a matter of wet shoes or a dnf.
Needless to say I have wet shoes and a big FTF smile!
Found at 10.30am 22/2/13
Left a TB and took the unactivated cache mark TB.
Tftc bristracker and the path tag.

Found at 10.30am 22/2/13
Left a TB and took the unactivated cache mark TB.
