There are new rules in the area about only parking in designated areas. I picked up the cache this morning and posted a note that I would be archiving it. Someone came half an hour later and said that there were needles on the track and that the cache should be archived. I didn't see any needles so I'm not sure where they were. The area can now be free of tromping people as it should be.
Very cool container and a nice quick find. We had no pen so took a photo of tge log book. TFTC
Great container and reminder. Camping nearby for the weekend and out for a quick drive with the aircon on during the hottest part of the day. Tftc!
This was a quick find for us while on the way out of the area.
It's a cool cache container, I like the way it references the cache name.

Was time for the LONGGGG drive home, and Geocaching along the way just makes it that much longer. Normally from the GC to CBR is a 12 hour drive, well I did it in just over 21hrs.....
I targeted a number of Earthcaches along the way, and did a loop in Byron Bay. The weather was not so pleasent today however it was worth it. Seen some lovely scenery and even drove the Tweed Coast.
Left Gold Coast at 7am Tuesday morning and got home to Canaberra just after 5am, long day/night.
Haha loved the container on this one, very cool.
Thanks for the cache Perusal [^]

I had headed off on a road trip to the Gold Coast and on the way, my number one mission to find Wherigo caches as well as a few other awesome caches and some other random caches along the way.
I went on a slight detour to Byron Bay and this one was on the way.
I made my way up the hill to GZ and made a quick find.
**Thanks to Perusal for placing this cache.**

Having a nice drive to Byron Bay so stopped past here. Found container all good and took the TB. TFTC
found on a trip north for annual hols. A quick find and signed log sheet and of to Byron Bay for lunch. TFTC TNLN Cheers 4 Now
Visited today and all is OK. Please replace as found. There is no need to stomp on the vegetation around the tree. Please tread lightly. Dropped TB.
Dad got it. Lid was unscrewed and open - everything damp but ok.put back together and replaced.
On the way south to Ballina this one was not to far off the route we were taking to LHE Duo stopped so that I could grab it since they had already found it in the past. So I jumped out while Mr LHE Duo went to find a place to turn around and it did not take me to long to find the interesting container. Definitely an interesting spot.

Nice quick easy find. Cache is wet so dried it out a bit but log is still dry. Byo pen. Tftc. Grabbed the tb.
1010 hrs .. Great cache container ,plus a bit of thought re name !!! dropped off a swap... thanks Perusal... + FP..
Perusal there were many facets that we loved about this cache - another favourite added.
A memorial cache is always special. Your container was fun but poignant and the landscape was different to its surrounds. A little scramble to retrieve it but great clue had it found in little time.
Left a trackable on its way to Blackpool England - hope someone can help it on its way.

After the short walk up to the gate it was a fairly easy find. Luckily we were not frightened by the container. Thanks Perusal.
Doing a little geocaching today with another couple of ladies we visited this cache and admired the lovely sandstone here. We also noted the item relating to the name of the cache! Thanks Perusal for placing the cache here and making sure we noticed some lovely stone and we enjoyed the drive also. Cache was found safe and well although it held a tiny bit of water in the container. Log was nice and dry so it was o.k. Cheers! [^][^]
Interesting stuff. More than sand but not quite sandstone. Found with Mummy6enny on this, finally, dry day. Clever container was wet inside but log ok.
Thanks Perusal.
Thanks Perusal.
On our way back from B/Bay we stopped for this nice cache, interesting container but unfortunately not waterproof due to the lid not sealing properly.
The sandstone around is quite soft, geologically young?

Day two of kestal and my caching road trip. This was a stop on our way from Ballina to Byron Bay at 655am. We walked up to the cache and it was kestal who found this. We had a giggle at the cache and then smiled at the inside too! TFTC
Day two of the road trip saw angloj and I finding caches in Ballina and up to Byron Bay and then a couple on the Gold Coast before heading home to Toowoomba only just beating a storm.
Continuing on our road trip leaving Ballina and heading towards Byron we left the main road and head towards this one. Angloj wasn't so keen on getting up to GZ until the easier way presented itself. Following the hint we started starting but it wasn't until I changed angles that I spotted this one. Great hide and TFTC Perusal

I'm up in the area doing my residential week at uni, and finding myself overwhelmed by all things chemistry, decided a cache hunt might chill me out. Driving back to my mates gaff in Suffolk Park, I checked the c:geo for anything nearby... Sands of Time... hmm, well, that got my interest.
A nice little spot to linger a while and contemplate my place in it all, and a cute little stash box to boot.
Top work Perusal. Thanks for placing a great cache in such a fortuitous location.

Yes that truly is an incredible landscape around Ground Zero.
As I opened the container and saw the surprise under the lid, I kind of challenged myself to have 'the paperwork' completed before the sands of time ran out but it occurs to me that really was the wrong thing to do. We need to relish every moment that comes our way. To be in the present and appreciate the experiences in those minutes and all other minutes in the day. Life should not be a race.
Thanks for the cache.

During our wonderful holiday in Australia we found this cache together with Mowgli.

Awsome container. Cool spot. Thanks for the cache. Found with batdos and summerr123
It is a beautifully sculpted rock, though perhaps less graffiti would improve its appearance. I wonder how long they will take to erode away? The cache guardian was very apt and was keeping the sands of time safe and sound and the log reasonably dry. I enjoyed this stop, TFTC, Perusal. =^.^=
Erosion is still at work here. Found the cache safe and well although he did look a tad hungry. Thanks Perusal.
Exploring the area on a birthday trip away for the long weekend. A little worrying to see my kids' names on the approach to GZ. What have they really been up to while I'm caching? Cute cache container. A bit damp but logbook dry. TFTC, Perusal.

A nice leisurely stroll along the road to this cache
We did have to dodge a few cars on the road
Lots of surfers heading to the beach
Cache was easily found
Geo hubby thought it worthy of a favourite point from us today
Container was very appropriate
Yes, very sad when we only have a few short years with our loved one
Looking forward to locating the others

Find No: 4458. Visiting from Newcastle, on the way home after the Mega at Stanthorpe, staying at Brooklet for a 40th birthday celebration, love the area, TFTC Perusal!!
cache find #3806. Parked nearby, and made our way to the gate. The cache was located easily. Another clever cache creation. TFTC.
What a great cache container, had us wondering for a minute about the gate but an easy find after we spied the gate. TFTC
Taking a few days to get home after the Mega, the mini rats and rats did a bit caching along the way. This cache plus a few others we found while in the area.
Parked nice and close and then as we came up the slippery sandstone the gate cache were soon spotted.
Thanks

Nice to see the extra effort in cache placements worth a favorite, The mega is over and its time to go home so doing a few caches on the way, thanks to all the CO's who helped make this event possible
Found it with WildThorneberry. Lucky it was double bagged. The sands of time had a bit of wild weather
Our family holiday at Coolangatta is over and I'm driving back down the coast on my own as the geo-widow had to fly back to Sydney to fulfil work commitments. What that means is I can do a bit more geocaching along the way than I would have otherwise have been able to do.
After driving through the madness that is Byron Bay in holiday time with my sanity intact but without a find, I was pleased to be able to make a straightforward and enjoyable find here. I didn't expect to have to step back in time so far though to do so but it certainly brought a smile to my face!
Thanks for a most enjoyable cache Perusal.

What a lovely day's geocaching I had with the CO. And yes, I do think of time slipping away and making the most of this wonderful life. The young face of Yohan that I see in your photos is a reminder that life is beautiful, but is soon over, no matter how long we may live.
Thank you for a visit to this beautiful part of Australia.

On this day in my life I even found an hour glass from the Jurassic period. Tftc
Certainly a unique hide! Cache was full of water, but the log was just signable. TFTC!!
Great cache and a unique container. Didn't add my name to the rock but I did to the logbook.
Thanks
Thanks
well, we turned down this road expecting to do 1 or 2 of the series, but ended up doing them all. This one was great, probably the coolest small i have ever seen. Thanks Perusal
The hint took us to this one and the cache made it a favourite. Loved this one. TFTC
On my way back south, I stopped at Byron Bay for breakfast and decided to take the coast road to Ballina with a slight detour to pick up the two caches along Broken Head Reserve Road.
It may have been my equipment but the coordinates seemed way out. However, I used the hint and soon had CIH.
I loved the container, thanks Perusal.

I found this cache with TheWilkinsGang, before I became a solo geocacher. This wonderful cache was well worth the effort it took to find. Tftc.
Quick findd following the hint. A bit of a different container and associated theme with cache contents.
Geopartner always wanted to visit Lennox Heads and so off we went.
This was the first on our way.
Very wet this morning
Another day in wet clothes.
The joy of geocaching.
Loved the container.
Very sad about your son Yohan. So sorry.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Perusal All good for this cache

We came down to Byron Bay for the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and of course we just had to find a few caches while we were here. We had spent time in the morning being amazed by the whales passing by the lighthouse. This was a great cache and a lovely dedication to your son Perusal. We made a quick find - loved the container. TNLNSL TFTC
Had to leave our fear of heights behind for this one! Be careful of your footing, and of the very busy road, especially with young children. A very creative container! We forgot our pen to sign the log, but I hope our photo will be enough.
TFTC, and condolences for your loss. Life is much too short.

Wandered up to the cache site this morning to find a most interesting cache container that actually blends in very well TFTC
We're down from the Northern Tablelands for a few days, staying in Byron Bay. Geopartner wanted an hour or two in the shops today, so I hired a mountain bike, left the Forester behind and cycled here. I may not get time to visit all of Perusal's caches, it's a tough ask of an aging geocacher.
This is a delightful cache and it looks like Perusal has been here in the last day or so to leave The Birthday Coin. The log is a little damp so it gives me a good excuse to have a rest while the log dries in the sun.
Many thanks for the cache, Perusal, took nothing except the coin which will travel with me for a while.
